sorry to suck my own dick a little but i’ve proven myself to be on average pretty good at picking good gifts for people (at least family), so i really hope this streak is gonna continue because next birthday is my grandma and she is DIFFICULT to shop for

#her hearing and sight are fucked #she doesn't eat a lot so treats mostly end up as gifts for the houskeepers #and she's not into like scented candles and stuff #so recently she's had even more trouble with her (elderly-adapted) phone #hitting the keyboard properly and all #so by process of elimination and taking that into account #and after running that by my mom #i'm gearing to find her: a stuffed dog (her favorite animal. she gave me a well-beloved stuffed dog when i was a kid. soft to touch.)#and since she can't sew anymore she struggles with fine motor control #we're gonna gift her a pop it #it's kinda weird to be shopping for someone else's fidget toys it's like. hey take that and make a repetitive motion for 5 hours.#happy birthday.#like it's kinda rude if you get the fidget wrong or smth yknow #anyway i'm gonna go downtown to find all that and hopefully she'll like it #broadcasting my misery
