yep, I've got a new story! :D unlike my other stories, I'm not intending for this to become a comic series or graphic novel. instead, this is an idea for my own animated sitcom I had since last month. it's called Mom and Dad, and it purposely pokes fun at stereotypical gender archetypes by reversing them. I'm not really dwelling on this just yet; it's still just a silly concept. it all depends on whether or not I decide to pursue animation in college. now I'm gonna try and give a simplified description of each character so I don't end up taking too much room lol     Mildred Halstead, our protagonist, and her husband, Antonio, are not your average couple. Mildred is a rather awkward, somewhat muscly but mostly chubby, and masculine businesswoman who's admittedly not very good at her job and is always on the brink of getting fired. She is generally very glum and pessimistic, and often wonders why the hell she's never happy. And Antonio, who took his wife's name instead of giving her his own, is very feminine, and "works" as a stay-at-home dad, doing all the cooking and cleaning, and taking care of the children while mom's at work. he's generally very bubbly and optimistic, and loves to dance and do yoga. They might seem like polar opposites, but the two of them go together like peanut butter and nutella.     their three children aren't exactly average either. Andrea, the eldest, is a total goth, and often comes close to burning down the house with her witchcraft. Lani, the middle child, is a lazy albino who's always thinking about food and is actually pretty clever despite her lack of willpower. And Celino, the youngest, is incredibly artistic, but is also always wanting to blow things up. They are all three huge hassles to take care of, and Mildred and Antonio both know how hard it is to handle them. But they love them, even if Mildred has a hard time showing it.     as for the rest, well, they're all crazy too. XD I had to give the Halsteads a family pet, so I went with a loyal St Bernard dog. Russal is super tiny when Mildred finds him as a puppy, but then he ends up getting really huge--big enough for little Celino to ride on like a pony! XD from there, Fedya and Su-Jin are Mildred's drinking buddies, Melissa is the greenhorn bartender, Dale is the kid's (slightly goofy) bus driver, and Cecelia is the rich next-door neighbor who ends up being a total creepezoid. lol
