It’s been a long few weeks and I kept forgetting to get back to this, sorry for the extremely late response!

@fostertheory basically summed it up- Sigyn doesn’t have much material in comics, and as far as I know the little she does have is very old and consequently not too great. I don’t think she was given too much depth, either, and the fact that she hasn’t made any more modern appearances doesn’t help that. So if you were fancasting her there’s not much of a base to work with, she’d more or less be an OC.

Norse mythology isn’t much of a help either, since all the info we have on Sigyn is from the aforementioned venom-dripping story and is the barest of bare bones. People usually focus on her faithfulness in retellings- makes sense to me- but a quick google tells me that her name means “victorious girl-friend” in Old Norse and there are some theories she may have been a goddess of victory, which is pretty interesting!

I really like @fostertheory’s comment about having Sigyn be tricky and cunning like Loki! That’s a very different take that I’ve never seen before, and that could be really cool.

It’s pretty hard to fancast for a character when there’s so little to go on, but @gaitwae in the notes suggested Britt Robertson as an FC, and Britt Robertson is fantastic, I could definitely see that. But if your question is specifically “who would you want to play Sigyn in the MCU?” and not a general fancast, Britt Robertson is 10 years younger than Tom Hiddleston. That’s not great, especially given the amount of actresses who are much younger than their love interests in the MCU already. @gaitwae’s other suggestion of Jessica Chastain could also be awesome, especially for a more cunning version of Sigyn, and she’s actually older than Tom by 3 years!

Since there’s so little to go on of what kind of character an MCU version of Sigyn could be, unfortunately I don’t have any suggestions of my own to add. So this was basically a very late and very long post of me telling you “I got nothing,” sorry.
