⟨ RYAN DESTINY. CIS FEMALE. SHE/HER. ⟩ though the mist might prevent some from seeing it, JAZMINE HARPER is actually a descendent of H E C A T E. it’s still a question of whether or not the 23 year old BUSINESS MAJOR from HOUSTON, USA has taken after their godly parent completely, but the demigod is still known to be quite PASSIONATE & MISCHIEVOUS.
hi everyone it’s rae #2 again 😔 but allow me to introduce you all to my darling jazmine, who is a revamping of a couple muses i’ve played in the past. as always, like this post and i’ll hit your dms!
History (death tw)
claimed at birth in houston, texas since her father could see through the mist. her father started physically training around the age of three. it wasn’t anything too crazy at first, since she was only a toddler when they began, but her father wanted her to have a head-start athletically. on her 6th birthday, hecate gifted her a spell book and required that she started her magical training.
she started attended camp elektra in california during the summers when she was seven years old. at some point, her father got married and started having more children. when she was twelve, he announced that they would be moving to new york for her new step-mother’s job. that summer, she attended camp half-blood, and leaving for camp was the last time she had seen her texan home.
it was around that time that her and her father’s strong personalities truly began to clash. they had different visions for jazmine’s future, and she started to resent being under his control. it also frustrated her that she couldn’t alter his perception via mist, which led to even more complications whenever she was caught doing so to her step-mother.
she spent nearly two years with her family in new york. after nearly getting expelled from school and having too many issues at home, her father sent her away to year-round camp in greece by the time she was 14.
due to extensive training, she was among the top-ranked during her time at camp athens. she devoted much of her free time, including summer breaks, to questing and rigorous training, and was often recruited through the school for selective quests.
once she graduated, she tried staying with her father in new york again to work and save money, but this only lasted about six months. she went back to europe to travel and she fulfilled quests for money to support this new lifestyle.
at 20, jazmine had another terrible fight with her father. she left and hasn’t seen him since. after this, she started to take questing seriously again. she went on more dangerous and complex quests, knowing there was no one really out there waiting for her safe return.
then came 2019: the zeus incident. she, celeste (daughter of zeus) and adelphie (daughter of apollo) teamed up to retrieve poseidon’s trident from zeus. these three had quested in the past, and were a notoriously powerful trio, but they had never gone against celeste’s own father.
by the time they had defeated the guard monsters and reached the trident, zeus had become aware of what they were up to. he killed adelphie on sight. as jazmine futilely tried to heal adelphie’s lifeless body, celeste used this moment to carry the trident back to the ocean via the wind. soon enough, zeus zapped celeste off the mountain. whether the god of thunder hadn’t seen her hiding in the darkness or he just didn’t care, she’ll never know, but he spared jazmine and left.
after carrying adelphie back down the mountain and presuming that celeste was also dead, she came across rostam, who had prophesied that something would happen at the mountain. he helped her bring her friends back to eonia, where she was allowed to rest and enroll for the following semester.
now, she’s at eonia studying business because 1) she has nowhere else to go and 2) she doesn’t think she wants to fight her whole life anymore.
Personality
being able to manipulate mortals as a child has made her view people more as vessels of entertainment or stimulation, and it shows. her sense of humor primarily revolves around teasing others, such as mocking them or playing tricks on them, and her blunt remarks can often be perceived as quite insensitive. she is very observant and has no problem using this trait for blackmail or manipulation, but she uses this to provide frank judgment or advice when asked. “0 to 100″ is a pretty accurate way to describe jazmine -- meaning for the most part, she has a calm, cool vibe, but her hot-temperedness can quickly get her in trouble. she can be impatient, vengeful, and petty, refusing to be the bigger person or the “loser” when crossed. stubborn and prideful, she could hold a grudge forever until she serves her own sense of justice or receives external mediation.
her bluntness and outbursts might give off the impression of her being mean, which she kinda is sometimes, but she isn’t that mean. she’s a compassionate person, and she’ll often help others if she feels sorry for them, despite trying to brush off their problems as beneath her. this is especially true when it comes to her friends. although she can be particularly harsh with them, her fierceness also comes with extra love and protection.
Powers
her most powerful ability is mystiokinesis, but it didn’t come easily. like other children of hecate, her magic is strongest at nighttime and very limited during the day. she was given a spellbook once claimed and has been perfecting her craft since. her magic gives her a limited grasp of all kinds of abilities, but she is most skilled in the areas of magic that have helped her the most on quests, such as vitakinesis, offensive spells/curses, and magical tracking. she works hard to improve her mystiokinesis through camps and personal training, but she is prone to overdoing it and negatively affecting her own health.
mist control is her secondary ability. it was the first of her powers to develop. as a child, her suggestions seemed to be a little too convincing to mortals. although it wasn’t fool-proof, she found herself manipulating people’s perceptions in her favor, possibly to get herself out of trouble or solely for entertainment purposes. she mostly uses it to her advantage around mortals or on quests. at eonia, and hasn’t found much use for this skill at eonia.
umbrakinesis is definitely her weakest power, but she would love to be more skilled in it. it has been the most difficult for her to develop, so she can only sometimes use the shadows as a shield or as a method of travel during the night. however, she has been able to levitate since she was a kid, which has been pretty convenient ever since she learned how to control it.
Extras
tl;dr: retired adrenaline junkie prone to moodiness
she has been at eonia since summer/fall 2019. you can get some more details about that last quest on celeste’s intro and self-para, if you haven’t already! feel free to assume that your muse had heard something about it.
she’s very hard-working and puts 110% into the things she cares about. the number of hours she has devoted to magic and academics is endless. neither of these areas come super naturally to her, so she has to work extra hard to develop them to reach her standards.
those 2 years she spent traveling europe and questing for cash?? she was living her best life. she used mist control and mystiokinesis a lot during this time to do things like avoid getting arrested, sneak into fancy masquerade balls, crash weddings, and waive any extra fees she couldn’t afford. she’ll bring up a wild memory from time to time if the conversation calls for it, but it’s rare for her to give out too many other details.
character inspo: think michelle jones (1), jessica huang (1, 2), hotaru imai (1, 2), fallon carrington (1, 2, 3), mal (1), daoming si (meteor garden), jennifer pierce (1, 2, 3), sam puckett (1), rosa diaz (1, 2, 3, 4)
works at the dining hall. she doesn’t care about this job and therefore puts no effort into it, so don’t expect a smile or cheery tone from her when you walk in.
involvements: black student union, gamer’s guild, football (soccer)
a skilled fighter, she is well-versed in swordsmanship and hand-to-hand combat, but she prefers using magic since it comes from her godly lineage.
she’s been playing soccer since she was a child, a sport her dad forced encouraged all of her siblings to partake in. although her and her father had many other issues, this actually wasn’t one of them, seeing as they both shared a genuine love for the sport. she’s known for being overly aggressive and instigative on the field, so she's at risk of losing her position if she starts any more fights.
Potential Connections
ex: there was probably never any official title tbh so she might even claim that they weren’t exes. jazmine’s a very private person and finds this kind of stuff too vulnerable, so maybe your muse got tired of being treated like a secret.
quest mates: could’ve been for anything tbh, but if your muse was significantly weaker than jazmine, she would’ve for sure let them know.
tutor: she works hard to maintain her grades, but sometimes she needs the extra help.
people she protects: for whatever reason, jazmine has a soft spot for your muse, so she’ll take care of them when they’re sick, bring them home from a party, put a curse on their ex, you name it.
past hookup: she never called. consider yourself blocked.
friends: self-explanatory! unlikely friends, friends who bond over mutual hatred, frenemies., etc.
enemies: her moral ambiguity and rude remarks probably rub some people the wrong way, so enemies wouldn’t be too surprising.
clients?: i’d imagine that some people have paid her in the past to bring misfortune to their enemies. they probably paid her some money to put a lil curse on them. it’s never anything permanent. if they paid her extra, maybe she did some research and brought them something to blackmail them with.
targets: the people that her clients have paid her to curse. she’s just a third party trying to chase the bag, so no hard feelings, really -- but if your muse somehow found out they got cursed by her, she’d be willing to reverse it for a price.
pawns: maybe she views them as weak. maybe she just finds them funny. either way, she has little respect for your muse and will mess with them for her own entertainment. it’s all in good fun!
people she met while exploring europe: she was up to a lot of shenanigans during those two years, so the possibilities are endless.

The Assassins [Hikaru Aihara] ~ Chapter 4
“A new staff member will be joining us today,” Kenzaki, the hotel manager, announced one morning.
“Hello, everyone,” the man greeted the staff with a smile. “My name is Hikaru Aihara, and I’ll be joining your team from today.”
“Hikaru worked at the Tres Spades Dubai and was a very valued worker,” Kenzaki said.
“It’s nice to meet you again, Hikaru. We do things a little differently here in London, so I’d be happy to show you th-” a maid, Erika, started saying.
“Miss Ichinomiya will be helping Hikaru until he gets used to things here,” Kenzaki cut the woman off.
“What?! Miss Ichinomiya herself?!” Erika couldn’t be more surprised if she tried.
There was a knock on the door and Hotaru poked her head in.
“You were looking for me?” she asked Kenzaki somewhat impatiently.
“Miss ichinomiya, I was wondering if you could show Hikaru around the hotel until he’s used to it.”
Hotaru didn’t seem surprised to see Hikaru in a hotel uniform as she shot him a sharp glare.
“...What.”
“You want me to what...?” At first my brain didn’t even register what the hell the manager was talking about. I looked at Hikaru smirking, and sent him a sharp ‘know-your-place’ glare. I already knew of his employment, but to have me show him around? Has he completely lost it? I turned my gaze, sharp as daggers, to Kenzaki. “Excuse me? What do I look like to you? I’m the co-owner of this hotel. Not an employee. Don’t you think I have a few more important things to take care of than show some newbie around? That’s why we have employees in the first place.”
“Of course, Miss Ichinomiya. It’s just that Hikaru requested it, so I thought--”
“You thought what, Kenzaki?” I snapped at him angrily. “Do I look like I have that kind of time on my hands?”
At this point my blood was positively boiling. I mean I knew Kenzaki was easy to manipulate, but this was just ridiculous. I couldn’t believe the audacity. I would expect that from Hikaru, but to think the manager would even consider asking me was plain presumptuous.
I left the meeting room before anyone could say anything else, slamming the door shut behind me.
I had been grumbling in annoyance the entire morning. Unable to get anything at the office, I went back to the hotel to hang out with Yukino. As I passed a guest room, a hand suddenly covered my mouth and pulled me into the room. The hand was large and familiar.
“What are you doing?” I asked as soon as the hand left my mouth.
“I’m working here now, and you’re going to help me,” Hikaru replied, sitting down on the bed.
“For what reason?” I asked.
“Don’t you remember your contract? About how I’m going to help you develop people skills. The Mad Hatter had a feeling you wouldn’t sign the contract so he took it upon himself to add that part.” Hikaru flopped down on the bed and gave an exaggerated yawn as I often did.
“Then he’s an idiot. I scratched that part out. And in any case I’m pretty sure we’ve already established that the contract is void.”
“Regardless of what you wrote, the point is you signed it.”
“Where did you get that logic?” I walked over to the bed and peered at his face.
“What? Leaning in for a kiss?” Hikaru teased. I didn’t reply as something shiny just under the bed caught her eye.
“Hey, what’s this?” I bent down and took a pearl broach out from under the bed.
“That happens a lot. Even if you check something ninety-nine times, something can still happen the one time you don’t. That’s why you need to do everything 100% of the time. That’s what being a professional means.”
“I believe that’s your job.”
“Hold onto that broach. I’m going to clean.” I heard what he said, but by that time I was already out of the room. “Hey!”
He rushed after me as I stopped an elderly couple in the hallway. The elderly woman held the broach in her wrinkled hand.
“Je vous en prie!” I said. I waved to the couple before they left, smiling.
“I thought you said it was my job,” Hikaru retorted, walking up to me.
“Shut up and get back to work before I fire you.” I left him with that.
“Alice, you look tired today,” the Mad Hatter said that evening. I yawned.
“Who do you take me for? With all the things I have to do everyday, how could I not be tired? Not to mention I had to deal with Hikaru’s crap as well.”
“Master can be a strict person. That’s why all the other Mad Hatters quit.”
“You don’t want to quit?”
“I am the real Mad Hatter. And you are the real Alice. I will not quit. Recently… The Mad Hatter who feared confined spaces quit right away. He was an impostor. He was not real.”
I didn’t feel like humouring him with all his nonsense, and instead kept quiet.
Later that evening, I was lying on my bed, switching between several positions as I read. My phone, which Hikaru had returned to me, suddenly beeped next to me. It was a notification from one of my messaging apps.
“Come down to the lobby right now,” it read. The sender was none other than Hikaru himself. Apparently he added me as a contact.
“I can’t even enjoy some rare time off?” I sighed as I grudgingly pushed myself off the bed. I had no choice. Not if I wanted to learn what was going on.
“What the hell took you so long? Let’s go.” Hikaru walked out of the hotel without waiting for me to respond.
Hikaru took me to a high-class boutique.
“May I help you with something, sir?” a staff member asked.
“Yes, you can. Please take my girlfriend and turn her into a princess.” Hikaru gently slipped an arm around I shoulder. I didn’t react, resisting the urge to roll my eyes and elbow him in the ribs. “We’re going to be spending a special night together, so I want her to look really beautiful.”
“Of, of course! I’ll make sure she looks absolutely gorgeous.” Hikaru flashed her a grin, making the girl’s cheeks flush a shy pink. “This way, Miss.” She led me to a rack filled with different dresses. “What do you think of this dress, sir?”
“It’s wonderful! I can’t take my eyes off of you, Hotaru!”
“What are you up to?” I whispered to him in Japanese.
“I’m sorry, but could we have a minute?” Hikaru asked.
“Of course, sir! Just let me know when you are ready.” The saleswoman quietly left, closing the door of the dressing room behind her.”
“I have to go to a party tonight, but I need a date to attend,” Hikaru explained.
“Why me?”
“Hotaru, you’re the most beautiful woman I know. Why would I invite anyone else, when I could invite you?” Hikaru said.
“...You’re planning to ditch me the minute we get in, aren’t you?”
“Obviously.” Hikaru smiled before calling back the saleswoman. “I’ll take everything she’s wearing.”
“Thank you, sir!”
“You’re paying for it,” I mumbled under my breath.
“You really think I’d make a girl pay?” Hikaru’s pleasant smile didn’t falter as he signed a check and handed it to the cashier.
“Are you alone here, too? My date left me so I was feeling pretty disappointed until I saw you.” As soon as we arrived, Hikaru left me and started talking to one of the female guests. “Yes, let’s have champagne. A toast to me meeting the most beautiful girl in the room.”
“Honestly...” I scoffed.
“Huh? Hotaru?”
I turned around to find Baba standing in front of me.
“It is her! Wait, a date was required to get in tonight, right?” Ota suddenly appeared next to him.
“Hotaru, what in the world are you doing here?” Baba asked curiously.
“I helped someone else get in,” I replied.
“What? Who??” Ota leaned in closer.
“Personal space, Ota,” I replied, and Ota back away a few inches.
“I’d like to know, too,” Baba said.
“Not now,” I whispered in a low voice.
“Mitsunari! Ota!”
“Everyone’s waiting for you. We came to see you today, you know!” Two women wearing revealing dresses walked up to them as they were bombarding me with questions, pulling the men away from me. I soon spotted Hikaru again, this time surrounded by a group of different women. I took that as my cue to leave.
It was the following morning. I emerged from my bedroom, only to be met by Hikaru, covered in blood. Even I couldn’t hide my surprise as my eyes widened considerably.
“That blood…”
“It’s blood spatter. Not mine,” Hikaru answered my unasked question. I shook my head in order to pull myself together. “One less person on the list.” Each time Hikaru took a step forward, blood dripped onto the floor.
“You’re dripping blood over the floor,” I said, turning my head away.
“Hah. You’re scared of me, aren’t you? You should be, I could kill you in a second.”
“Is that so?” I looked back at him.
“But, honestly, there are other things I’d rather do with you.” There was a faint flicker of emotion on my face as I looked at him. “Don’t look at me like that… you make me want to torture you more.” Hikaru leaned down and firmly gripped my chin, tipping my face towards his. “I didn’t think I would be able to kill him tonight. I was lucky. Will you let me get lucky twice?” Hikaru’s lips brushed mine deceptively soft. I didn’t resist. “Hmm. Are you scared or turned on?” He chuckled sadistically, standing and staring down at my less-than-stoic face.
“Hikaru.” I moved my knee in between his legs and brushed it against his crotch.
“Ngh.” Hikaru groaned, his body stiffening.
“If you can’t put your money where your mouth is, shut up.” I violently slapped his hand away from my face and walked out of the room.

MM Kotori is a Stupid Pissbaby Meanie-head and needs to Stop.|| Taiki || Trial 6.6 || RE: Everything, jesus--
One shock after another, it felt like it was just an endless whirlwind of whiplash for the guitarist. Only able to watch in stunned silence as his brain slowly processed what had just happened, Taiki's hand reflexively went to cover his mouth as his eyes rapidly followed the other's conversation.
As Hanae said what she did, he lurched forward shaking his head, but before he could do or say anything, she was punching herself in the face. Then after that, Kotori said more things.. Everyone was upset, voices raised. Taking a moment, Taiki closed his eyes, his hand resting on his chest as he took in a breath. Taking out his journal, Taiki spent some time flipping through his logs once more, desperate to find something they could use... Something they could continue to talk about... More questions to ask... A magical solution to all of this hell they'd been through.
Looking up from his pages, Taiki glanced sadly towards Kotori as he looked back at his own descriptions of the girl... Soft spoken, but kind... The night they'd spent looking at the stars... How she and Hanae had helped him get around after losing the person he'd been relying on for as long as he could remember...
This wasn't her anymore, was it. Something had changed her... Just like all those others they'd fought before this.
Just like those corrupted Digimon.
"... Purple really doesn't suit you..."
Taiki sighed sadly, shaking his head before his attention went towards Hiro's sudden outburst.
"Wh-- We're d-- We're DEAD?!"
His voice went up an octave in panic as the possibility dawned upon him. Holy shit, if Hotaru had felt so real, and she'd been dead all along... Then-- Any one of them could just be fakes right? Oh god, oh fuck--
No, no he had to calm down. That 'what if' scenario didn't matter. So what if they were dead? Even if that were the case, none of that changed how he was feeling right now. Walking over to Hiro, Taiki placed a hand on his shoulder and smiled softly.
"Does that matter?"
He blinks for a second, shaking his head before placing hand on his forehead.
"No-- No, sorry that's not what I meant. I mean, even if this is some sort of afterlife stuff, we're kinda... Stuck and sorta in trouble already, so uh... If we don't figure things out we might as well be......."
Yeah that totally sounded reassuring, didn't it.
".... No, never mind. You're definitely alive. We're all alive here, definitely. 100%."
Patting Hiro on the back, Taiki flashed him a more confident smile and gave him a thumbs up before looking back towards the others with a more sheepish look. Moving forward, Taiki looked down at his feet for a moment before his focus returned back to Kotori.
"Kotori-chan... I don't think you meant to kill Hotaru-chan... The you right now might not show any signs of it, but..."
Taiki frowned.
"Well. Like the others said, I still believe in you... And I want us all to get out of here together. If we could save the world once, that means we've at least got something going for us, no matter what you say! We've already done a lot of fighting to get here, a-and..."
He falters for a moment before taking in a shuttered breath.
"Ok, no offense but!! This can't have been just your doing, you, big big jerk! This is so unfair!! One second you're talking like you wouldn't mind if we found our way out of here, and the next you're sounding like you're trying to be a cool villain! But you're not, you're just... You're just...!"
"A big fucking dumbass!!"
"You're not cool!! You're just lame and stupid!! And your old glasses looked better!! What loser wears sunglasses indoors? Can you even see?? Are those prescription???? If you can't explain how you did all of this to us, then how in control are you even?! You're just a puppet to the corruption!! Whatever we came here to defeat, that's what's making you do all this! How did a digital copy of Hotaru get made and put into place after she died? Last I knew, you aren't a programmer or anything. Can you do that with everyone else who died? What's the point of you even doing this?? This is really stupid!! What're you, 5?! Even I'm at least 13!!"
Taiki's chest rose and fell as he clenched his hands into fists.
"Well... From what I can remember. If people and digimon get corrupted, all we have to is knock the corruption out of them, right? I promised Gabumon, all that time ago, that I'd go back and beat them as many times as it could, so they could live happily in this world with the botamon. And you know what!! This promise extends to you too. To everyone else. I'm not letting this world, or any world have to go through any more pain. We're supposed to be friends!! We're supposed to live out our lives and grow up and find happiness!! So no matter what you do... No matter what the corruption does, I'm not ever gonna give up!!"
"So if words of friendship aren't going to get through to you, then maybe fists of friendship will! Or, a hot bath of friendship, a nice therapy session of friendship, or-- Anything! Whatever it is, we'll find other ways, but we're not leaving till you stop being corrupted!!"
Because in a way, Taiki had a feeling they... Honestly weren't getting anywhere with things the way they were.
