If it uses the exact same typing style as a bot. . . and other types of bot messages ground to a halt when it so conveniently popped up. . . . . . and it gets spammed to blogs en masse no matter what kind of content they post or how many followers they have. . . . . . . . .

Then it might just be a bot.

#i'm sorry but 'this is an important cause though' is not proof against something being a scam #scam artists have always used things that people really care about #scams targeting the elderly claim that their grandchildren are in trouble and need help #scams targeting middle aged people talk about generic children in other countries #and scams targeting tumblr users claim to be refugees from war zonea #many of them use the names and photos of actual palestinians. that does not mean that they're actually those people #just as many of them use photos from completely unrelated events and wars #like i'm sorry but this is how your credit card info gets stolen
