every time i watch any content about postpartum depression/psychosis i get so mad at the husbands involved like i'm not saying it's their fault lock stock and barrel but it just seems really fucked up to me that there are so many women who have such severe personality changes and instead of being like maybe my wife is going through something they either shrug and say whatever or they get angry at her for not taking care of herself and the house like are you serious dskflskdjfsdf

#like obviously i'm talking about instances even where no harm comes to themself or the baby #but also in the instances where harm DOES come to the children it's especially infuriating because everyone always looks at the husband #and says taht poor man he lost everything because of that harpy bitch who murdered his kids #meanwhile he's waking up in the night to yell at her while she and the baby are both crying because he has work in the morning #and no one ever asks if he ever even thought about her wellbeing for five minutes #i will give the husband from this doc credit he is saying he dropped the ball and he's standing by his wife #and his family is admitting like they did have to tell him a few times he needs to step up to the plate #but there's some other women in this doc giving their experiences #and even a husband who was like 'the baby would be in the same diaper all day and the animals wouldn't get fed'#like okay? why didn't you do something
