The ghoul is so funny tbh. He simply HAD to be a lone wolf bc there was never gonna be a chance that we wouldn’t end up giving a shit about people if he got close to them. His whole thing is an act and ngl he’s just not that good of an actor lmfao
#.ooc ( dani is an asshole )#like he obvs formed some kind of bond with Roger so we know it happens#and I imagine mostly it was borne out of necessity whenever he’d team up with anyone in any way#just a sensible choice for survival#not a selfless choice ever#just the path of least resistance to what he wanted/needed#and I think lucy is unique in that way#where he doesn’t NEED her to team up with him#and though she can certainly be helpful in plenty of ways he def thinks she’ll make things more difficult along the way not easier#and he asked her on purpose#partially to repay her for her kindness#partially bc he wants to wind her up and point her at his enemies and see what she’ll do#and partially bc he empathizes with her and thinks she deserves to face vault tec as much as he does#for how one company shaped the course of their lives without them knowing
