I just LOVE fandom,, for all the absurdity and stupidity that can occur, there’s also something so sweet about finding community with strangers over just liking the same stuff really hard !!!

#I wrote papers about this in college but #it’s just on my mind again #partially from hearing back from a years old fanfiction that I commented on just to tell them their work was lovely #and seeing how delighted that made them #and partially bc I’m going to another Star Trek con this weekend and #the history of fandom settles pleasantly over me and I feel so at home #anyway I’m done rambling #personal #ignore me
