#p#skyrim tag#please ignore the dead guy#this isn't abt him smh#i was so lucky to have gotten that glass mace drop#malin is absolutely a sword boy and eventually i want to level two handed as well#but as a battlemage/spellsword he favors a sword + offhand spell#i just like thinking that in his earlier days in skyrim laying low & knowing how the avg skyrim citizen feels abt the thalmor#he just avoids going full magic bc he fears people will turn on him#whereas he used to favor magic previously#i just like the thought of him leaning into martial skills out of necessity in this new land and the mastery of them paralleling how malin#*comes to think of skyrim of his home#and his forays into lycanthropy and later vampirism just turn him even more off from the idea of transcending mortality#maybe being a mortal is a good thing!!#and other heretical thoughts for a good purebred altmer to have
