hmmmmm . being barry might suck more than it already does
#giratina brought him back to life but like#im torn between giratina resenting him and the rest of the sinohs to certain extent for him being one of the reasons#its attempt on arceus's throne in hisui failing#as a result . it not only brings him back to life to say fuck you to arceus but also leaves a piece of itself in his body#which lets him become possessed by giratina trying to thwart the sinnohs at certain points of the hisui arc#causing problems and eventually being one of the reasons why they get excommunicated from the galaxy team#and one of the plot points of hisui is. trying to exorcise it from his body with the help of yuki#which clues volo in on the identity of yuki as the current incarnation of the adored one#and also gives him the idea to make his own contract with giratina#this definitely does not help with barry's feelings of being a parasite and causes character regression when this becomes evident but#hell get better
