-annnnnd on the flip side, the SLOWEST express train in the world is known as the glacier express! it travels at around 18 mph, and takes 8 hours to travel 291 km, with NO stops!

on that topic, "express" doesnt necessarily mean that the train itself is fast, it just means that it has very few stops!
