#Marvel#Marvel comics#Marvel 616#Marvel Two-in-One#Man-Thing#Ted Sallis#The Thing#Ben Grimm#Ted really is startlingly sweet in this issue#like#I guess we’ve rarely seen much of Ted outside of Crises but arguably the Man-Thing is Ted down to his most basic elements#and Man-Thing is indeed very sweet#and oh poor Ben and how angst is so fundamental to his character#I do find it interesting though how confident or rather hopeful Ted is looking towards finding a chemical solution to their issues#like yes I know it’s to set him up as a narrative foil to Ben and that it won’t stick because the Thing parts of these characters#is what keeps them marketable for comic books BUT#I find it interesting nonetheless how much confidence Ted still has in chemistry too#seeing as messing with chemicals for his own benefit is what arguably got him in this situation in the first place#also now I would really like to see Ted and Reed meet#finally…please be nice to Ted
