Grim: Ray has found Grim cute since the day he laid eyes on him and has since developed a maternal feeling for him. Although Grim doesn't like it at first, after a while he started to love the attention and care they gave him. Their relationship is pretty much the cliché Disney movie dynamic between the protagonist and her pet/companion. Ray usually scolds him a lot when he does something wrong, but he also rewards him with sweets when he does well in classes and tests. Sometimes, at bedtime, Rayven tells stories or a lullaby for Grim, especially when he has nightmares. He'll never admit it, but he loves when they do that. Grim is a bit overprotective of Rayven, after all he is his henchman and a good boss makes sure his henchman is safe.

Adeuce: Think of them as that typical trio of fantasy movie protagonists. Rayven is very fond of them, especially since they are the first friends he has made in a long time. Ace and Deuce see him as an older sibling. Ray usually helps them with homework and studying for tests, she is very proud when they manage to get good grades. They decided to keep their friendship a secret until Book 5 so as not to cause a scandal, so when they are around other people, they treat each other politely. Crowley: Initially, Rayven had a certain respect for the director, he thought he was weird, sure, but at least he let them stay at the NRC when she had nowhere to go and is very grateful for that. But after the events of Book 2, Rayven has started to harbor a hatred for him.
