there's this post floating around that's like 'tell me about canonically male characters you headcanon as transfem' and maybe i'm just not on the same page as everyone else but i find it kind of baffling to see people tag characters in that post and then turn around and engage with them as men?

like, if you headcanon them as a woman, don't you... then engage with them as a woman? and i don't mean like, reblogging posts that use the 'canonical' pronouns or gendering for them. i personally perceive haku from naruto as a trans woman but most posts/etc. with her use he/him pronouns, and i still want to engage with haku content so i reblog them. and yet whenever i personally make a post or smth about haku i'm obviously going to use she/her.

but it's weird to me to see someone going 'oh yeah i hc dick grayson as a trans woman' and then make a million posts calling dick he/him and a man and etc. and then make like a few one-off posts about trans woman dick. like. that's not headcanoning dick as a trans woman.

maybe im just completely missing the point here or something and please tell me if i am but like. no you don't??? you don't
