Why is that whenever my mom and I decide to do something nice for ourselves it immediately backfires on us????
#like in June we decided to go see a Broadway play and that same week the battery in the car died and we had to use a rental#and now we just got tickets to go see a string quartet perform Taylor’s music in Jan and the IRS tells us we owe them almost $130k#we rarely ever decide to do stuff like that because we usually don’t have the money to spare#and it’s not like we’re spending a ridiculous amount it’s like not even a few hundred dollars and then something happens that costs thousand#like we can’t win#our bills keep going up#we moved because everything was getting too expensive at our last house and it’s starting all over again#it’s just so incredibly frustrating
