Sometimes I find it so hard to believe there are adults my age who are conservative

There’s a girl I met at an acting class 5 years ago who seemed cool but eventually became a relatively successful twitch streamer and on her channel she now just spews conservative talking points while playing video games, and today on Instagram she posted a photo of her fetus’ ultrasound with the caption ‘this is my baby at 11 weeks, vote accordingly’ like. What? What does your pregnancy have to do with who to vote for…

If the implication is that she believes the fetus is a ‘baby’ and therefore shouldn’t be aborted… then just don’t abort the baby? The whole point of being pro choice is that you get to choose what to do with your body… it’s not like anyone is forcing you to get an abortion. The caption makes zero sense

And just seeing Trump in the lead so far as political commentators on abc are like ‘yeah a lot of people are leaning toward Trump because they were like, shit was cheaper during Trump’s presidency 2016-2020 and at the end of the day that’s what a typical American cares about’ and it’s like… beyond the moral judgment of that, the economy was so bad during Biden because of Covid which was started and handled during Trump.
