When I was a kid, there were three games series that meant a lot to me and that really helped me grow into who I am today.

One is Ace Attorney. One is Professor Layton. I just found my copy of the third, and I am very excited to hopefully soon replay it and welcome back into my life my prodigal son and the last member of the holy Trinity of my childhood heroes, Kyle Hyde.

#hotel dusk #hotel dusk: room 215 #Kyle Hyde #I think I actually loved HD first #I remember when I was but a wee little lad #I bought a copy at Walmart with my Christmas money one year #and I fucking LOVED it #hyper fixated HARD CORE #and then there was a fan site that I went on #that had a sister site that was an ace attorney fansite #and that’s how I was introduced to it #so the two series have always gone together in my mind #I remember when I was playing aai2 and I first saw Ray #literally my first thought was ‘Louis? is that you?’#and not too long ago someone with a Kyle Hyde icon liked one of my posts #and I ran the FULL gauntlet of emotions when I saw him in my activity log #my son…….#look at my son…….#also trace memory gets an honorable mention here #not nearly as dear to my heart as her brothers but still quite a bit #and I did order a copy of it so I could replay it
