sometimes I see that criticism that’s like there’s more to this media than shipping and it’s like SUPER FAIR but also the extent that people go to show how they’re not ALL about shipping is so beyond me. to me at least, part of considering why these two characters work together is the amount of effect they have on each other whether it’s their own characters or the narrative that they’re in, but when you’re so eager to show that this isn’t all about shipping!! to the point where you’re blatantly ignoring the effect that this character has on the other’s development, when you’re not even considering the other character as part of the other’s narrative because you so want it to be not be about shipping i just .... I just do a little laugh 😳
