You know I'm sitting over here reaching the point where I kinda feel like a schmuck because I've never owned a single pice of music I listen to. I have never had a cd. Now that's not all my fault, my parents never got me any, even when I expressed intrest in my Dads collection (he has hundreds, maybe not quite) and never really helped me get into music. Hence why I sit here in my 20s only just now finding, developing, and loving my music taste. And it's different to theirs, and they don't care for much of it (is this what rebellious teenagers felt like?), and I have never been happier. I am confident in my love of music now (for so long I was embarrassed or shy) and I sorta want to get into collecting cd's for the bands I love. So that nobody (greedy streaming services) can rip my beloved music away from me! I would also be willing to go through the learning curb of ripping said cd's onto a device (an mp3 or something) that I can take out with me. It would have to have Bluetooth capabilities, I need my earbuds, but other than that I think it would be nice to have something just to play music. Modernization has gone too far, it's time for a step back. I remember always wanting an mp3 player as a kid, but could never afford it, but I have adult money now, I can do whatever I want with that adult money if I want to. Do you think this is a good plan? Or have I gone completely off the rails? And any advice is appreciated, I don't know what I am doing in this particular area.
