I really want to see Henry's (the little hussar) reaction to the fact, he has the exact same name as a eldritch-tumor hand tentacle attached to a tiny girl. I think he would be a little bit offended.
Tumblr media
I think Henry might be a teeny bit overprotective of his name, yeah. He maybe wouldn't mind if someone named a baby after him, or maaaybe even a beloved pet, but a horrible squirming eldritch flesh whip?? No thank you!!
Fortunately, Andy can help him simmer down if the thought gets him too riled up and his Hussar's hyper-aggressive gene starts to kick in...

Zane Hijazi
Associated with David Dobrik is Zane Hijazi, who is a very crazy, strange, yet lovable man. He is one among many in David Dobrik's whole friend group who created a YouTube Channel after he made videos on Vine, which is another app that doesn't exist anymore. Onto youtuber number three.
Zane Hijazi is one of the many funniest guys on YouTube. He is so funny and crazy and he proudly shows it to his million fans. Not only does he just have a YouTube channel, but many other accounts on other social media platforms as well.
Zane's videos are vlogs, like David Dobrik's, which basically means he just records himself throughout the day, edits the video footage, then posts it. The hard thing about vlogs is that the video can easily be boring if the youtuber is not doing something fun. The thing is, all Zane mostly does is stay home in his vlogs, accompanied by his roommates Heath Hussar, his best friend and also a vlogger, and Kam Kennedy, just a regular guy with no YouTube channel. The incorporation of all three of them in Zane's videos makes the video satisfying enough. Heath and Kam like to cook, so you know there will always be food involved.
Sometimes to make the vlogs very entertaining, Zane will do crazy things. One time in a video, he got his belly button pierced and got a long, shiny, sparkly jewel to put on his belly button. He made a montage, which is different clips edited over together with music as the only volume, and he played Indian music and danced to it while he twisted his hips so his viewers could see the jewel dance around. However, it got infected and he had to remove about a month later.
Him and his best friend, Heath Hussar, have a segment called “Coffee Talk” where they sit in the car, drink coffee, and you guessed it, talk. It’s entertaining though because they talk about popular trends and news and about friends which makes the vlogs enjoyable. Zane has also gotten lots of tattoos from sketchy places. By that, it means a tattoo shop who were giving a fifty percent discount off all tattoos. And with that "great deal" comes awful tattoos that smudge together or just peel right off in the long run. It's hilarious to see him get these tattoos because since we, ourselves, don't want to ever do anything that dumb, we get to see the result on another person instead of experiencing it ourselves.
And once again, like many other youtubers, Zane Hijazi just made merchandise, like clothes, accessories, pillows, and more a few months ago from this present day. I can't buy it though since I can't spend my money but it's awesome. He put his face onto a shirt with himself wearing a tiara, that's the kind of sense of humor he has.
Zane actually has two identities, himself and Henry. Now obviously it's just a joke and is for fun but it's so hilarious to see him as a whole different person. Zane made Henry a grown man who has a weird voice and wears glasses that are too small for his head and that are made for girls. "Henry" does not have a YouTube channel, only an Instagram account. I think the enjoyment about this character that Zane dresses up as is that adults can act as kids too and be fun.
Now same old story, I binge watched all his videos and really enjoyed. His essence brings positivity and makes you cheerful, except when you’re asked to go do chores or homework. But I think Zane is honestly one of the funniest guy youtubers and his personality will always make you laugh.
Zane impacted me because after I watched David Dobrik, I didn't have any other youtubers to watch, then I decided to check Zane's channel out and I loved it. He is such an amazing guy and there's no hate in him, and I think that's what made me more positive. I actually got the opportunity to meet him in person at a meetup that him and his friends held. It was honestly like meeting a celebrity and my idol. He is so nice in person and still quirky as always. I’ve learned from youtubers like Zane to always be positive and express your inner weirdness.

Starting today off by introducing our 21st colonist, Henry!! Woo! How exciting- and annoying. My colonist bar had to break into two rows on top of each other to handle so many pawns! it won't be a problem for long, don't worry
Henry is a little boy who is of the 'Hussar' xenotype, which just means he's a genetically engineered super-soldier who will apparently develop a dependency on Go-Juice later in life. Hooray for him. He has a wooden foot and lil' bandaids on his face, which makes me think this kid has seen some fights way too grown-up for him. Fortunately, the colonists at Eureka don't believe in sending children into combat, so Henry is free to spend his days learning and having fun.

The first thing Henry did (after putting on a new shirt) was go hang out with Irwin in the school building to learn about melee. For what it's worth, Henry is already the third-best melee fighter in the colony, at the same level as Kawoo, and only beaten by Irwin at level 14 and Connie at level 11.
I think he is going to get along swimmingly with Irwin.

Then we had a drop-pod raid, which I did not think was going to be a problem because there didn't seem to be that many Saurid raiders... But, alas...

I guess someone named "Executioner" would ruin my day, huh?
The problem with drawing the adventures of these colonists is that I get way too attached to them. So, uh... I wrote eulogies. Sorry. They're under here if you feel like reading 'em.
Wendy Marsengill
Wendy Marsengill was killed on the 13th of Decembary, at the age of 27. She is survived by her wife of 1.5 years, Tamarind, by a vast and eccentric family, including her Aunt Kawoo and cousin Andy, and by many friends in the settlement of Eureka and beyond.
Wendy had a fascinating start to her life when she was recruited as a Child Spy. She went on to become a Barber in her adulthood, though, at some point, she ended up on a distant Rimworld and was lost to madness as a Wild Woman. She wandered in this state for some time before joining the Animist Alliance, where she met and eventually married her wife Tamarind.
Wendy was the best cook in the settlement and often was single-handedly responsible for keeping the colony fed with properly cooked food, and nobody ever got food poisoning while Wendy was manning the kitchen.
Some of Wendy's greatest moments include wearing a jester's hat to her own wedding and somehow managing to cement herself as the most Australian colonist in my head based on a single social interaction way-back-when.
Pearl the Cheetah
Pearl was the first animal to join the ranks of Eureka's ever-growing menagerie, not including Rogan the rottweiler who crash-landed with Albina, Brennan, and Irwin.
Pearl landed near our burgeoning settlement in an animal drop-pod, where she was rescued and nursed back to health by Head Researcher Brennan. Pearl decided to stay with us and spent a very long time sleeping on an animal sleeping spot on the rough marble floor of Irwin's ascetic bedroom (sorry, Pearl. You deserved better).
Once Andrei McCarthy joined the colony, it was love at first sight, and he bonded with Pearl almost immediately. She was eventually given a proper animal bed in the room Andrei shared with his wife, Kawoo and their infant son Andy, before Andy moved to his own room.
Pearl was brave, beautiful and very fast, as cheetahs often are. It is a tragedy that I can't draw animals as well as I would like to, or she would have featured far more prominently in all these posts. I'll miss her. She made silly noises when I zoomed in on her sometimes. It's going to be quiet without her.
