We will be starting from season four since sadly we did not get Misha Collins as Castiel throughout the whole series. It will start off as a friendship, but it will grow more as the series goes on. I will be skipping some episodes even though they are great episodes they do not push the story forward. I am so excited to get to write this since there are not many Castiel X reader stories out there. Okay without further due Love War & Grace enjoy the Story.

POV: (Y/n)

Mhhh I love the fresh smell of coffee and a good book and the rain to pair it with. It's almost too good to be true because it is. “We need to talk.” It was Cas. “Cas? I'm dreaming aren’t I.” “It's not safe here. Someplace more private.” “What’s more private than my own head?” “Exactly. Someone could be listening.” He looked more serious than usual. I stood up, almost reaching out. “Cas what’s wrong?” “Meet me here.” He hands me a piece of paper and his hand lingers on mine. “Go now.” I wake up with a startle and a bad feeling and cold sweat mixed together. 

“Well, what did he say, Y/n? What was so important?” We had flashlights while going through an abandoned warehouse. “Sam, if I knew, would I have woken you guys up scaring the shit out of you? And risk Dean shooting my face off!?” Sam was quiet after that. “Thank you!” 

We come into this room that looked like something had exploded. “It looks like a bomb went off.” “It was a fight.” I stated a matter of factly. “Between who?” Both of them asked. I looked up at the wall and a huge sigil in blood was there. “Guys that’s what Anna used to send the Angels away.” The three of us are staring in wonder when I glance to the side and see something I never wanted too. “Guys? CAS! CAS!”

I ran over to his body. I kneel down and start to shake him. “Cas wake up!” And he does. “Oh my gosh, are you okay!?” I started to ask and Cas looked confused but it was different than his usual questioning human behavior look. “What's . . . ? What's . . . ? What's going on?”  “Just take it easy. Take it easy.” Dean said. “Oh. No.” “Cas, you okay?” “Castiel. I'm not Castiel. It's me.” Huh? “Who's 'me'?” Sam asked confused as well. “Jimmy. My name's Jimmy.” Jimmy? “Where the hell is Castiel?” I was now scared and befuddled. “He's gone.”

Jimmy was devouring his hamburger while the three of us still wondered who Jimmy was. “You mind slowing down? You're gonna give me angina.” Dean rudely said. “Dean!” I death stared at him. “I'm hungry.” “I'm sure you are.” I'm still trying to process all of this. “When's the last time you ate?” “I don't know. Months.” Holy crap I would be too. “Mmm. Mmm. Mmm!” “What the hell happened back there? It looked like an angel battle royale.” Sam asked. “All I remember is a flash of light and I, uh . . . I woke up and I was just, you know, like, me again.” He looked at me during that pause.

“So, what? Cas just ditched out of your meat suit?” “I really don't know.” “You remember anything about being possessed? Anything at all?” “Yeah, bits and pieces. I mean, angel inside of you, it's kinda like being chained to a comet.” “That sounds awful.” I want to try to comfort but he is not Cas I sadly have to keep remembering. “Understatement.” “Jimmy, Cas said he wanted to tell us something do you remember that?” I asked sectionally “Sorry.” Shit. “Come on, what do you know?” “My name is Jimmy Novak. I'm from Pontiac, Illinois. I have a family.”

Hearing how Jimmy got possessed I felt terrible for him and his family so I knew what had to happen even though it would break my heart Jimmy deserves to be happy. “So, what do we do?” Sam questioned. “Sam what do you mean Jimmy has a family.” “I agree with Y/n.” “I don't know about that. Guys, he's the only lead we got.” “He doesn't know anything.” I was getting annoyed at this point. “Are you 100 percent about that?” “You think he's lying? What, you wanna go Guantanamo on the guy?” “Dean, maybe he doesn't even know what he knows.” “Huh? Sam.” “I say, at least we get him to Bobby's. Maybe all he needs is hypnosis or a psychic. Or hell, maybe Cas will just drop back into him.”

I didn't know if I wanted that, Jimmy deserved to live a happy life but at the same time I just wanted to look at his face and know it was my best friend. “We don’t know Sam.” “Guys, back there, that was angel-on-angel violence. Now, I don't know what's going on, but it's big. And we can't just let the only lead we got just skip out.” Dean shaked his head.

“What?” “You remember when our job was helping people? Like, getting them back to their families?” That was a good point I remember when our biggest worry was where dad was. “You think I don't want to help him? I'm just being realistic. I mean, hell, we're doing him a favor.” “How Sam!?” I kind of yelled. “Guys, if we want to question the guy, you can damn well bet the demons do, too.” 

“The hell are you talking about, I can't go home?” Jimmy uderstanbly was angry. “There's a good chance you have a bull's-eye on your back.” Dean told him. “What? From who?” “Demons.” I stated with one word. “Come on, that's crazy. What do they want with me?” “I don't know, information, maybe?” “I don't know anything!” “Jimmy we know but the demons will still jump rope with your insides no matter what.” “Look, I'm done, okay? With demons, angels, all of it. I just want to go home.” “Of course we understand.”

“I don't think that you do understand. I've been shot and stabbed and healed, and my body has been dragged all over the Earth. By some miracle, I'm out, and I am done. I've given enough, okay?” He goes to walk out but Sam stops him. “Look, all we're saying is that until we figure this out, the safest place is with us.” “How long?” “We really don’t know-” I started to say but Sam interrupted me. “We'll cross that bridge when we get to it.” Jimmy shook his head and continued to walk out. “Where are you going?” “To see my wife and daughter, okay?” “No, you're not. You're just going to put those people in danger.” “So, what, now I'm a prisoner?” “Harsh way to put it.” 

It was four AM and I could not sleep. I mean usually I couldn't but not even could manage a slight nod off. Everyone else was sleeping and I just kept looking at Jimmy feeling guilty that we've kept him here. He deserves to go home, ughh I just hope Sam and Dean don’t find out. I got up as quietly as possible and left the room.

I was walking back with his bus ticket when I saw him running my way. “Y/n wait before you take me back-” I took out the ticket. “You better hurry, your bus leaves in an hour.” He was confused. I handed him it and kept on walking. “Y/n.” “Yes.” “In this past year the bits I do remember you were there you mean a lot to him you were his best friend too.” Tears were now burning in my eyes. “Thanks, Jimmy and I mean this with all my whole heart. Have a great life.” “You too Y/n.”

We were now driving to get to Jimmy even though I literally just let him go so I was praying that he was safe but of course my prayers never get answered. “Hey, guys.” It was Anna scaring the shit out of us, she popped up right beside me. “Aah! Jeez.” The car swerved.  “You ever try calling ahead?” “I like the element of surprise.” “Well, you look terrific.” Dean looked back at her. “I will slap you upside the head Dean Winchester.” “Um, yeah, not the most appropriate time, Dean. You let Jimmy get away?” I suddenly thought the outside looked very interesting.

“Talk to ginormo here.” “Sam. You seem different.” What does she mean? She looks at Sam like she knew something. “Me? I don't know. Heh. A haircut?” “That's not what I'm talking about.” “So, what'd Jimmy tell you? He remember anything?” “Why? What's going on?” “It's Cas. He got sent back home. Well, more like dragged back.”

“What!?” I almost yelled out. “To heaven? That's not a good thing?” “No. That's a very bad thing. Painfully, awfully bad. He must have seriously pissed someone off.” I hope it wasn't because of us. “Cas said he had something to tell me. Something important.” I told her. “What?” “I don't know.” “Does Jimmy know?” “I don't think so.” “You don't think so? Whatever it is, it's huge. You gotta find out for sure.” “That's why we're going after Jimmy.” Sam tried to get Anna to stop nagging us. “That's why you shouldn't have let him go in the first place. He's probably dead already.” 

We pulled up to Jimmy’s house just in time to hear a scream. When I ran in there were two demons attacking Jimmy and his wife. I go behind the man and cut his throat. The other Demon approaches us. “Go. Get them out of here!” Sam screamed at us. And I grabbed Claire to get her out. “Daddy!” She of course wanted to stay. I kneeled down quickly to her level. “Claire, listen to me we have to go I will help your dad, I promise.” “Promise. Now go.” She ran out the door. A demon was now on Jimmy. “Get off of him!” I throw it off and fight to stab it flips me over and now is doing the same. It gets very close when it dies and Jimmy is standing over it. “Come on!” He offers his hand and we run out of the house. 

The parking garage was cold but safe and this time I knew Jimmy had to come with us. “You were right.” “I'm sorry we were.” I regretfully told him. “I'm telling you, I don't know anything.” “I don't think they're inclined to believe you.” “And even if they did, you're a vessel. They're still gonna wanna know what makes you tick.” “Which means vivisection, if they're feeling generous.” “I'm gonna tell you once again, you're putting your family in danger. You have to come with us.” Sam was now getting aggressive.

“How long? And don't give me that "cross that bridge when we get to it" crap.” Jimmy had a right to know. “Look Jimmy-” Once again Sam cut me off. “Don't you get it? Forever. The demons will never stop. You can never be with your family. So you either get as far away from them as possible or you put a bullet in your head. And that's how you keep your family safe. But there's no getting out and there's no going home.” “Well, don't sugarcoat it, Sam.” “I'm just telling him the truth, Dean. Someone has to.” Jimmy goes to say goodbye to his family. “

Were driving away from the garage. “What the hell happened back there?” “What?” “You practically fainted trying to gank a demon.” “You did what!?” I was very surprised. “Okay, I didn't faint. I got a little dizzy.” “Well, you can call it whatever you want. Point is, you used to be strong enough to kill Alastair. Now you can't even kill a stunt-demon number three?”

“What do you want me to say about it, Dean?” “Well for starters, what's going on with your mojo? I mean, it's yo-yoing all over the place. I'm not trying to pick a fight here, okay? I just – you're scaring me, man.” “I'm scaring myself.” That is not good considering Sam looked like he hadn't slept in a week. His phone ranged and he answered it. “Hello? . . . Who is this?” “Hey. It's your wife.” Sam handed the phone to jimmy. “Amelia? . . . Oh, my God.” 

God do I hope this plan works. “Alright, they're expecting you to come alone. That's exactly what you're gonna do.” “We'll work our way through the catwalks. We'll be right behind you.” “All you gotta do is stay calm and stall. Let us do our job.” “You want me to stay calm? This is my family we're talking about.” I took Jimmy’s shoulder and turned him to me. “Jimmy, I promise that nothing will happen to your family and you.” He looked like he believed me. “Give me a minute, okay?” He got out of the car. “There's no way they're expecting him to come alone, Guys. You know this is probably a trap.” “Yeah, I know. That's why I have a plan.” Dean was so confident which was scary because if this didn't work out I would never forgive myself.

“Oh, you're such a liar. Like I didn't think you’d bring the three stooges, hmm?” The demon lackey brought us out. “Great plan Dean!” “Yeah, well, nobody bats 1,000.” “Got the knife?” The demon brought the knife out from my pocket. “And you know what's funny?” “You're a bitch even after death.” I commated. “Is I was actually bummed to get this detail, picking up an empty vessel. Sort of like a milk run. Now look who landed in my lap.” “Yeah, well, you got us, okay? Let these people go.” “Oh, Sam. It's easy to act chivalrous when your Wonder Girl powers aren't working, huh? Now for the punch line. Everybody dies.” She holds up a gun to me acts like she's about to shoot but instead turns the gun on Jimmy. BANG! “NO!!!”

I try to get out of the demon’s hands but to no avail. “Jimmy!” “Waste Little Orphan Annie.” The demon goes over to Clarie with a bat. I mange to sqrime out of the demons hands just in time. Clare looks up but its not her it’s Cas? She suddenly grabs the pipe in one hand and places the other hand on the Demon's forehead. The Demon screams as he is exorcised in a bright light. Using the distraction, Sam and Dean turn on the Demons holding them. While they struggle, Clarie, who is now possessed by Castiel, burns away the ropes holding her. Jimmy lies on the ground, bleeding, and looks at her in horror. I ran to Jimmy. It’s bleeding so much.

“Jimmy you're ok you're ok.” I took off my jacket and tried to press the pressure “I'm so sorry.” I'm so focused on him that everything is background noise. “Clarie.” She’s right beside me. “Of course we keep our promises. Of course you have our gratitude. You served us well. Your work is done. It's time to go home now. Your real home. You'll rest forever in the fields of the Lord. Rest now, Jimmy.” “No. Claire?” “She's with me now. She's chosen. It's in her blood, as it was in yours.” “Please, Castiel. Me, just take me. Take me, please.” “I wanna make sure you understand. You won't die or age. If this last year was painful for you, picture a hundred, a thousand more like it.” He looks at me and nods like he was telling me he was going to be okay. “It doesn't matter. You take me. Just take me.” “As you wish.”

Clarie puts her hands on her Father’s face and a bright light flashes. When it was over Clarie dropped to her hands it was a lot for her. Jimmy well I guess Cas just walked up and ignored his family and walked out. “Cas, hold up. What were you gonna tell me?” I catched up to him. “I learned my lesson while I was away, Y/n. I serve heaven, I don't serve man, and I certainly don't serve you.” He walked away and my brothers were just as stunned as me but I snapped out of it.

“OH HELL NO!” I followed after him. “Cas you get your ass back here right now.” “Why, because I'm your dog?” I was baffled. “What Cas no I- what happened?” “I just got told the truth that the only reason why you're friends with me is because I can do anything and I will come running if you call.” “Cas I don't know what the hell why you think but it's not like that and you know that!” “Y/n you're not my friend you're a distraction from my mission which is Dean Winchester.” “SO, after everything I'm what nothing.” “No y/n… you're a distraction and I can’t have those.” He got close and handed me back the phone I got him. He walked out after that. And what I felt was everything at once. 

We got to Bobby’s house and this day just gets worse and worse. “Well, thanks for shaking a tail.” “Yeah, you got it.” Sam stepped in the ghost panic room. “All right. So, uh, what's the big demon problem?” Sam said, looking around. “You are. This is for your own good.” Bobby slammed the door shut. “Guys? Hey, hey. What?” “This isn't funny. Guys! Hey! Guys?” I don’t know what to do how could I help my brother when I couldn't even help my best friend? 

Hey Guys hope you enjoyed it. I am so sorry this took forever. I have been really busy. But I will try to update whenever I can. For the first time we end on a cliffhanger. I loved this episode. Everyone did an amazing acting job. And let's put our hands together for Misha for Jimmy so good and then snapping right back to Cas. We are almost to the end. I can't wait!

mark sheppard just seems to bring out the best in everyone, quite compelling scene here between crowley and rowena (esp considering i'm hard pressed to care). and well, a character likely just as wily as he is, good match to play around with

CASTIEL I thought I could make it up to her. SAM I don’t think you can. I mean, Jimmy was her father, and to some people, that’s … that’s everything, you know? CASTIEL No, I don’t. I never knew my father. He was distant, to say the least. What about you? Did you love your father? DEAN With everything I had. SAM Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it wasn’t always easy, but yeah. DEAN I mean, look. John Winchester’s not going to win any “Number One Dad” awards, you know? But you know… damn if he wasn’t there when we needed him.

DEAN Then this girls walks up and she says “Hey, why don’t you come over and sit down with me and my friends at our table?” All right! SAM Yeah, and they get him drunk. First time. DEAN But not fun drunk. I’m not quite sure what was in that stuff, but the room starts to spin, and I feel like I’m going to puke … forever.

Introdutions

"Who are you?" I turn at the gravelly voice to see batman from Young Justice. This was just great. Seeing my family reach for their weapons I shake my head. No. Slowly they drop their hands but not their guard.

"Batman." I stated.

"What was wash the influx of energy?" His face is set on 'Neutral' like always.

"I'm Charlie, this is Jack, Castiel, Sam and Dean." I introduce pointing to them in turn. "Jack's Nephilim and Castiel's a Seraphim." I continued. "Sam, Dean and I are hunters." I watched as some of the YJ team stiffened. "We were after a coven of very old and powerful witches and got caught with our proverbial pants down. "

Cas shot me a look saying 'stop talking' but I shake my head. "Castiel, Jack, Sam and Dean these guys are the hero's of this world. Meet Batman, Robin, Superman, Superboy, Miss Martian, Aqua-lad and Kid flash. Robins human but trained by Batman who was trained by the league of assassins, they're kinda like the British Men Of Letters." That gains a few scowls but they are smart enough to not interrupt me. "Super-boy is Superman's clone but he's only half kryptonian. Miss Martian and Martian Manhunter are well Martian." I laugh at that. "Aqua-lad is Atlantean and Kid Flash is human but his DNA was altered due to a mix of lightning and chemicals." I finish looking at Batman.

"Charlie how do you know these... people?" Cas asked. I smile remembering the numerous hours I spent reading comics and watching movies about them before I left to help the Winchesters.

"In our world they're comic books and TV shows Cas. I looked up to them before Chuck called me to help you." I explain. "Jack can you open a door back to our world?" I ask, he did it before with the Apocalypse world.

"No. No I don't think so." I know he feels so useless. I smile at him, he cares so much for everything and everyone.

"It's ok. We'll find another way." I consol. "We are no danger to your world and will comply to answering any questions you require." Dean shoots me a look but I ignore it, we have to gain their trust.

"What are your surnames?" Batman asks in that monotone only he can use.

"Zele." I speak up.

"Winchester." The brothers speak up at the same time. Which is kinda creepy if you ask me.

"Kline." Jack replies glancing at me for confirmation he was doing the right thing, I nod my head.

"Novak-Winchester" I saw Batman raise an eyebrow behind his mask. "Angels don't have surnames, the name of vessel is Jimmy Novak and the Winchesters are my family so I made that my name." Cas stated simply.

"Hold up? Vessel?" I saw Conner ask, I shot Cas a look that said 'let me handle this.'

"An angels true form can't be seen by humans less their eyes burn out, so they need vessels to walk on earth. They can't possess them without the consent of the human and the human can kick them out at anytime. However Jimmy died years ago when Lucifer, more commonly known as Satan or the Devil blew up Cas' vessel which was re-built by Chuck who was God in our world before he became human and passed the title onto Jack." I saw the team gaping at what I just said all bar Robing, Batman and Superboy.

"So," Robin said, "you team consists of three trained humans, one angel and one god who was or is also a Nephilim?" I smiled he was so close.

"Not quite Boy Wonder, Jack isn't a god, he is God. He's still a Nephilim, biological child of Lucifer to be exact but he chose Castiel as his father and takes after his mother." I corrected, hell explaining was tiring.

"Why do all look like you've seen the world end?" Asked Superman. This was a question I'd rather not answer, we all had trauma but this was gonna open major wounds.

"Because we have. Sam's been stuck in Lucifers cage with him and Michael the Arch-angle and tortured, he also lost his soul for a time and lost all moral compass. Oh, he and Dean both lost their Mum too the prince of Hell Azazel and then they were dragged around by their ex-marine father hunting before Sam got out and went to school only to find Azazel killed his girlfriend Jessica." Sam actually had it the easiest.

"Dean has bore the Mark of Cain, been a demon, escaped Hell and been a vessel for a Michael from another world where the apocalypse wasn't stopped. Michael and his angels killed off nearly all of that world including the humans. We all went there as an attempt to stop him but when he can Lucifer got into our world Dean agreed to become his vessel to kill Lucifer but Michael took over Deans mind and made him do horrific things." I saw from there body language the hero's understood. They must've seen some shitty things too.

"Jack was hated by Heaven and hunted by angles and demons, led the effort against the war on Michael and lost people, he also had his grace stolen by Lucifer and was human for a time. Oh and though he looks like and has the mind of a 16 year old he's only 1 year old, comes with being Nephilim, they grow up as fast or slow as they like." That made a few of the hero's grimace. Guess hearing a 1 year old went through that was a surprise to say the least.

"Cas was hunted by Heaven and Hell, tortured repeatedly, fought in all versions of the apocalypse, became Lucifers vessel, fought both versions of Michael, had his grace stolen making him human, been a vessel for the leviathans, had his memories wiped, died and come back along with the rest of us and annoyed an ancient deity who control the Empty which is where angels and demons go when they die." Cas had had the hardest time out of all of us in my opinion.

"As for me I've been summoned by God, fought against the darkness with Sam, Dean and Cas, fought Amadeus who's a prince of Hell and fought in the war against Michael." I finish seeing all the hero's shell shocked even those like Batman and Robin who hid their emotions.

"Have you killed anyone?" I sighed, Superman had to ask that didn't he?

"We all have. In our there's not much choice, vampires can only be cured if they haven't fed, werewolf can't be cured, witches either bargain with demons or get power hungry and kill civilians and angels and demons both need vessels, we exorcise the demons we can but with angels and some demons we have to kill them meaning the vessel too. Then there was the time Jack lost control and killed people, we all have. Jack and Mary, Sam and Deans mother who was brought back by god's sister Amara led a effort to stop Michael which resulted in casualties." I see the look on Superman's face but the truth was the truth. "Those monsters kill people, same as every other monster in our world, sometimes we don't have a choice." I mumble the last bit as I remember pushing a knife into my brothers heart, a tear runs down my cheek.

"We need you to come with us." I hear protests coming from my family.

"We can't trust them Charlie." States Dean I glance at him then Cas and sigh.

"I'm not asking you to trust them. I'm asking you to trust me." I glance at Jack first, please trust me I pray to the Cas and Jack.

"I do trust you." Jack is the first to speak.

"Very well." Cas surrenders.

"Fine." I hear Dean groan.

"We have made a deal on less." Sam admits.

"Thankyou." I say, hopefully this doesn't bit me in the ass. "Let's go." I glance at Batman and nod.

In that second I know.

"We'll find our way home."

Small Rant for the destiehellers

I’ve been seeing quite a few post saying how wrong destiel is and all that and i wanted to point out. Castiel is not animating a dead corps.

It’s canon that when Castiel was brought back he chose to be brought back as mirror image of Jimmy Novak. He’s not possessing him anymore. His human image just looks like Jimmy. This is all confirmed post season 8 I believe.

Now the whole r/ape argument could be debunked bc in canon nothing ever happened And most destiel FICS are AU which means Castiel is his own person. And when FICS want to include Jimmy he’s always his twin and his own person as well.

Now with beastiality! Castiel is not an animal but an Angel so I would probably just move this to Monster F*cker?? To make more sense.

I don’t know it bothered me how critical thinking was lost in this entire argument.

Anyways I respect all fandoms and try to mind my business. However, I was seeing a lot of hate for this ship recently so I just wanted to clarify. Feel free to leave your take and be respectful about it :0

My #1 post of 2022

I’ve been thinking a lot about theo and Liam these past few days. And you can’t tell me they weren’t supposed to be end game. ANS I know the creators said if they continued the show then they would end up together.

It’s just I was rewatching the scene where LIAM and HAYDEN were kissing and you see theo looking through the mirror.

You can’t tell me he felt like some type of way. I think he always had hard time processing his emotions and stuff but after LIAM brought him back from hell. I think that’s the moment he truly fell for LIAM. Like he probably thinks like oh why does this kid care so much about me. And I think theo was just like LIAM before character development. Anger issues. The difference is theo was leaning more towards being vengeful and self preservation. ANS LIAM is more reckless anger with the intent of being good.

And this dynamic has always been interesting. The same coin with different sides.

Anyways early on you can see the chemistry.

also the way theo looks at LIAM. I can’t. I think theo fell harder at first and Liam had a harder time accepting he was in love with theo. ✨✨

This was the 14th time in one day that Dean Winchester had heard this god-awful thing, not of Castile's voicemail

"Hey Cas I haven't heard from you in a while We might need your help on a hunt or it just seems like something you might want to get on .call me back or just show up seriously dude Where are you"

to say Dean was frustrated with the disappearance of the best friend Was an understatement. Dean had been on edge not knowing what had happened to the angel much less knowing that Jimmy Novak wouldn't have called him. Even if Castiel hadn't left the body. Sam kept telling him his worry was pointless but he didn't believe him. So he had Sam call The Angel's phone and the same thing This is my voicemail make your voice a mail. Hey, he tried praying but even that didn't get Castile's attention it tried violently screaming till his voice was almost raw Still no reply So they're sat around waiting hoping fingers crossed at the angel would answer them Maybe give you able to give his insight on this case.

little do they know that the angel was dealing with his own problems. he currently had a screaming child on his hands . this wasn't your typical scream. This was a high-pitched whining scream That would cause here of a normal mortal to explode. The scream that Castiel could understand.The Scream of an Angel. The Voice of an angel But this was not an ordinary angel. This angel came to be strictly out of a drunken prayer from Castiel the one time he wished God wasn't listening. Even trying to deal with this infant of an angel for a few weeks now I was making no progress. She refused to acknowledge anything he said whether it be in Enochian or English. She didn't trust him as far as she could throw him which with her being in an infant's vessel would be nowhere.

So to an unknowing mortal ear sounds like a lot of high-pitched screaming if you were in the same room Because the infant Was using the only voice they knew how to use Which was the true voice of Angel. Castiel was trying his best to do the same in hopes that something would get through to her that he was to be trusted that she was in his care That their father left her to him.

He felt sorry because he knew the only reason he had to be in the situation was that he had seen a picture of Claire Novak I realized once again that he had stripped Jimmy of his entire family. He knew he had taken Jimmy's chance of being a father away and out of so he went on a drunken Bender of Misery and self-pity and whoa and awkwardly prayed to God Then one day he may be given a chance to in some way make it up to Jimmy. this is God's cruel way of doing it making Castiel deal with a child. Who is also one of his own- What should be one of his brothers or sisters - Is this child to raise. He had heard the voice of his father letting him know that the child would grow to a point of maturity. the child had hit this point when food no longer tasted like food it began to taste like molecules. a point when all things I would define a mortal, Like puberty, the need for food, water or even to go to the bathroom ceased. the need for slumber no longer existed, emotions not as prevalent. The day that she became a full angel Was the day that Castiel was not looking forward to Because he knew then she would have to answer to the full wrath of heaven for any adult action she ever does after that point.

had he told Sam and Dean about the issue no? He Hadn't answered a call because he was too busy having to scream off of an infant and trying to feed this child that he knew nothing of how to raise children. Grace induced naps last for a while but once she was up he made it clear she was unhappy.

He'd lost count on how many hours he spent walking a room with her in hand singing different lullabies or soft rock songs to her trying to get her to calm down It would work for a moment until she get put down and she didn't want to be left alone That was part of her problem was she didn't like to be alone She had that human need for socialness So Castiel was at the verge of wanting to get a freaking pupus for this damn baby.

Cas heard his phone ring yet another time this time he answered it without even checking his 14 voicemails from Dean.

"dude where the hell are you?"Dean voiceful of rage and resentment

"I've been busy Dean," cas said bouncing the child on his hip walking.

"too busy to answer a phone?"

"you wouldn't understand Dean"the small angel pulled on cas's tie and his coat wanting attention so instead of screaming she just cooed at him

"not now sweetheart I'm on the phone," cas said with the phone in between his shoulder and ear repositioning the child

"Who are you talking to Cas?" dean was confused. Did Castiel get a girlfriend and not tell him or Sam?

"My father has given me the biggest responsibility I have ever been given Dean. Raising a young Angel with her Vessel. I have to be a father to my sister. That's why I haven't answered your prayers or calls. Her true voice would defen you right now. That's how she's been getting my attention. If you thought Mine was bad when I Raised you from Hell you don't want to hear her."Castiel made his point to Dean and was trying to think how to keep from 'sounding like an ass' as Dean would put it.

"Cas you could have just told us I have nothing against kids The only thing that worries me is now there's another target on your back and on hers Not to mention your crazy brothers Do they know she exists If not they will soon You have some weird-ass family dynamics cas.

My Personal Hitchcock Countdown, Part Four!

TOP FIVE!

The final part of my countdown of  my personal favorite (and least favorite) Hitchcock films!

5. Vertigo

Only seen the movie once, and it managed to break the top five!  I saw it for the first time maybe a week ago, after putting it off for longer than I care to admit, because I thought the plot seemed too convoluted.  But as it turns out, it’s not as complicated as I thought!  And even though I knew what happens at the end, I was still thoroughly invested.  I loved the scene of Jimmy Stewart dragging Kim Novak up the stairs of the bell tower, that was so intense!  And Jimmy Stewart gives one of his best performances in this film, a very dark turn for him and an occasionally very unlikable character.  And this movie looks incredible.  It’s probably Hitchcock’s best-looking color film.

4. Shadow of a Doubt

Hitchcock’s personal favorite film!  This is a movie I enjoy more and more with each re-watch.  I really love the characters....Charlie, the main lead, is likable, clever and interesting to watch.  The side characters are all a lot of fun...I particularly get a chuckle from Hume Cronyn’s character, Herbert, who discusses murder with Charlie’s father for fun.  But really, this movie belongs to Joseph Cotton as Uncle Charlie.  This is the best villain Hitchcock ever put on screen.  Better than Lars Thorwald, better than Norman Bates, Uncle Charlie is one of the creepiest villain’s I’ve ever seen.  You don’t really need to look any farther than that gif of him looking straight into the camera.  He is cold and calculating, yet can still be charming and likable to the people around him.  He has everybody fooled...except his niece.

3. Psycho

Hitchcock’s masterpiece.  I mean, I think we can all agree on that.  And if I was making an objective list, this would probably be at the top.  It’s iconic for a reason.  It’s so good, it’s almost difficult to talk about, since I don’t think I could bring much more to the discussion.  But I will say, that even though I knew about the shower scene, I was still creeped out.  And I did not know about the twist ending, so that legit freaked me out, to see Norman come out dressed in that wig with a knife.  And Anthony Perkins gives an amazing performance as Norman...his pleasant, boyish exterior that is masking this much darker side is so fascinating to watch,  There’s really not more to be said, if you haven’t seen it yet, you have something to watch this Halloween season!

2.  The Birds

This was the second Hitchcock film I saw...Rear Window opened the door, but this is the movie that made he a fan!  I remember watching it in the lecture hall of my middle school...so we got to watch it on a bigger screen, which was nice for a first-time viewing.  While I agree it is not his best movie, this is the one I consider to be the scariest, because you will never look at a group of birds the same way again.  You can convince yourself that you’re safe in the shower or that your neighbors are actually very nice people, but you see a flock of birds in a tree, it can be quite unsettling!  And this is another case of just damn impressive filmmaking....and something that would not be done today.  A movie about killer birds, and they use real birds.  No CGI.  I think the only bits that were fake was when the would mix in cutouts of crows in with the real ones.  Like this film or not, you have to admit that that is a very gutsy movie.  And it paid off, as this movie is fantastic!

1.  Notorious

This is probably no surprise to anyone who follows me, but Notorious is my favorite Hitchcock movie!  While not particularly “scary”, there are still some fantastic moments of tension.  But Notorious is, first and foremost, a love story.  And damn, do I love it.  Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman have electric chemistry as Devlin and Alicia (something I was very happy to see that still had in Indiscreet) and if any other actors were in these roles, I don’t think the movie would have worked as well.  Claude Rains (whom I adore) is also wonderful as Alicia’s husband, Alex...whom she only married so she could spy on him for the American government, since he is a Nazi, living in Brazil.  I think the wine cellar sequence is a terrific example of Hitch’s idea about suspense...the idea of the “bomb under the table”...and it’s all done with no dialogue, and you are glued to your seat.  If I were to recommend any Hitchcock movie to someone who hasn’t seen any of his films, I would start here!!

A little bit of magic

Summary: Cas works on a case with Sam and Dean they call Y/N for help. After the case is over they found bond and Cas realises that Y/N can give him everything he's missing.     Pairing: Cas and Reader Word count: 2k ish Square filled: for @spnquotebingo​ -  "Can we skip it? Castiel had been to earth many times, he had taken different vessel over time. His current vessel was a man called Jimmy Novak,  he still felt guilty when he thought about what his presents had done to him and his family.

Over all the years of his life he had been told many times that he was beautiful, mainly by humans and sometimes by monsters. He never used to understand the point of the comment but as he spent more time with Sam and Dean he understood the point.  Especially the time he spent as a human when he lost his grace. It was the first time feeling things and first time doing other things.

After the fall he felt even worst blaming himself for it and how all the other angels were lost without heaven. He spent most of his time with the Winchesters feeling like they were the only ones who understood him and being the only ones he could trust.

The most recent case wasn't far from the bunker so they were able to stay there and not a motel. It didn't affect him much as he never slept but he knew that Sam and Dean were more than grateful.

With no good leads they resulted to calling an old witch friend. Castiel had only ever heard of Y/N but always good things, that they were brave and strong, had no trouble dealing with Dean and his humour.  

They all had planned to meet near a witnesses' home, Sam lead the way over to a person standing by a car. They had their head down looking through a phone. Once Sam called their name they looked up and grinned wide, Y/E/C shining.

Sam pulled them into a tight hug which they gave back laughing. Dean joined them, Y/N hugged him the same way they had with Sam. Cas  joined them and when he did Y/N's smile went to him.

"Y/N this is Castiel" Dean introduced the two of them, Cas nodded to her his own greeting.

"The angel" Y/N said in as a fact and not a question like everyone else did. "Dean and Sam talk very highly of you".

"They speak well of you as well" after he said it, Y/N smile grew even more if it was possible and turned on Dean most of all.

"Do you now? So Deanie what wonderful things do you say about me?" she teased him pocking his arm.

Dean only rolled his eyes "Thanks Cas" , Sam laughed watching everything unfold.

" oh yeah" you suddenly pulled away from the small group and spun around. "What ya think of my FBI suit? "

Everyone looked her up and down Sam nodded of approval, Dean gave them the thumbs up. But Cas was the only one to give a verbal comment. "It suits your eye colour very well".

All Y/N's attention went on Cas, "That's what I was going for" they bit their lip and smiled. "I didn't think everyone would notices" they said a bit more quietly and looked to the floor.

When their eyes went up again they went straight to Cas'. Blue meeting Y/E/C.  They didn't break apart until Dean cleared his throat. "We should get on with seeing the witnesses".

Y/N was the first to look away, nodding at Dean's statement. "So what's the plan? Four 'FBI' agents on one case is going to look weird."

"Y/N's right. Only two of us should go in and one needs to be Y/N" Sam stopped everyone from moving.

"Y/N and I will go in. You two wait out here" Dean told Cas and Sam who agreed to save time.

While they waited outside Cas couldn't help but wondered about Y/N. "How did you meet Y/N? You've mentioned them but not how you know them "

"mmm. Dean and I were on a case, a ghost was going after psychics and Y/N helped us find out who it was. After that we would call them if we were sucked on something"   Sam said. "They're really talented, we're lucky they're on own side."

He then went on to thinking about them, how they socialised with the Winchesters, almost like a sibling would. How their eyes rested on him when he commented on their suit and the smile they wore when they spotted the boys.

His inner core tighten  when he first saw all of them. He could feel their  power vibrating off them and into the air. Sam said they were powerful but did he really know how.

"Hey boys" Y/n's voice sang from a distance. Cas and Sam look around and saw Dean and Y/N walking over to the impala. They both looked like they had been in a fight. "You never guess who did it".

Sam jumped forward checking if both were okay. "Why didn't you shout for help?".

"Y/N had it covered. Son of bitch didn't even see them coming" Dean high fived Y/n who laughed with Dean.

"They guy was a shapeshifter, wasn't hard to take down. Little magic here and a little sliver there" Y/N rubbed their hands together making a purple light form, which busted into glitter. "I didn't know I could do that!" they exclaimed then repeated the act until everyone was covered in multi coloured glitter.

Cas looked confused, Sam even more and Dean was trying his best to be mad. Y/N clapped their  hands together and it all disappeared.  "an allusion?" Cas raised his eyebrow.

"Yeah" Y/N looked happy but shocked at someone guessed what happened. "You're something else Castiel". The way his name left their lips was like honey sweet.

"I suggest we get out of here before the police show up" Dean chimed in.

"You finally going to show me at bunker of yours, maybe even have a drink?" Y/N question was directed at Dean but still held Cas' eyes.  

"You earned it" Sam patted Y/N on their back.

"want to ride me with me angel, show me the way?" Sam raised an eyebrow while Dean chucked.

Cas tiled his head to the side, "If you'd like me too".

"You heard him, go ahead in your car and we'll follow" Y/N waved them away with a smile. "So Cas tell me about yourself".

"well I'm an angel which you know already. I help  Dean and Sam with cases and I had sex with a reaper " Y/N nodded as he went on but the last one took them by surprises, losing control of the car momentarily.

"Sorry what was the last one?" they asked, once they grain control of the car again. " sex with a reaper?" Y/n repeated it slowly careful that they didn't miss hear.

"Yes. Dean had a simply reaction" Cas was looking straight ahead, not seeing how bewildered they looked. "I was graceless at the time"

"You lost your grace?" Y/N asked eyeing him side ways. " When did that happen?".

He looked to Y/N unsure if he could tell them everything. They carried themselves so light but deep inside their power held precedence as the main core.

"When all the angels fell, it was my grace that allowed it. I was human for a time and it was the strangest time in my long life. I got in back but I still remember what it was like" their eyes met again.

"Being human is hard sometimes, I'm a lot older than I seem and I have lived many lives,  as time passes you think you know how things are,  but then everything is different. From fashions tends to laws" Y/N gave him one more smile but sadder and looked back to the road.

It was a short drive back to the bunker, once everyone had arrived Y/N looked around.

"How outdoorsy. Tell me Dean what do you see when we're here. Just want to make sure you haven't gone mad" Y/N moved their hand around area.

"just wait" Dean shook his head and lead them to a hidden door. Y/N looked at him like he was even more mad.  "Trust me and if not me then Sam"

"Don't worry Y/n we're not mad" Sam laughed at the look they sent him.

"I wouldn't go that far"  Y/n muttered. "I'll knock you both on your asses  if you try anything."

"What about Cas?" Dean joked looking back.

Y/N also turned around and looked to Cas, "He's too cute to knock on his ass" they said with a side ways smile.

A strange feeling of hurt fluttered into his chest. It was a complement but it wasn't truly about him and how he really was. No one saw the real him.

"You okay?" Y/N sat down next to where Cas stood. "You seem a bit, mmm out of it" their hand rested just where his wings would be. If they were visible.

"I feel lost" Cas eyes squinted as he tried to find the right words. "I don't think Dean or Sam would understand if I told them. They would try but I think I remain a mystery  to them in some ways"

"They're good people, it might take time but they would understand. They love you" Y/N words hit deep,  it was right to say Sam and Dean loved him and he knew it but he caved a different type of love one he couldn't reach.  

But here was Y/N saying all the right things, touching him in all the right places. And smiling giving him the same feeling he felt when the sky was made, when he first felt the warm the sun offered. And those Y/E/C eyes  like his favourite flower that grew in the garden.  

Y/N hand  still played on his back, he swore he could feel their figures blushing along the few feathers he had left. They  sighed deeply, eyes moving across the empty room. "I should probably get going, They've both gone off to bed". Their hand left his back but the spot stayed warm like a touch magic left there.

"Are you able to drive?" Cas studied them careful, the way their chest moved as they breathed, the small movements that their hands did with no real thought to it and how their lips moved when they let out air.  

Y/N eyes seemed to be on him and his movements too. Their mind working through everything all at once.  "At the risk of ruining this moment and the bond I feel with you. Can  we skip the doubt of questioning this and jump straight in.  Can we skip it? Can you just be kissing me now?" they sounded hopefully and scared at the same time.

Something over took him and in a moment at was so unlike him he made the first move. Y/N made a surprised noise when their lips met. Y/N arms went round his neck to pull him closer. Both kept their eyes shut.

Y/N was the one to pull away, lips slightly swollen but eyes shining more than every. "You are probably the beautiful person/angel I have ever met" they were breathless .

"Yes, I suppose I got lucky when it came to my vessel" Cas felt disappointed that once again it came down to looks and not him.      

Y/N shook her head, "no, I don’t mean your body. It is a lovely body but I mean your soul" They placed a hand over his heart. "I never got a chance to explain all I can do. I can do spells like any witch but I can also read souls and see the true forms of creatures" They looked him up and down , wearing the same smile they wore when Cas had met them. "You and your light. " they swallowed before carrying on. "You wings as well, they may be broken but god they look amazing. Everything about you is beautiful"

Once again something Cas didn’t understand took over and they were kissing again. Y/N hands ran through his hair this time, while his held their neck bring them even closer. They were so close that their chests were pressed against each other. He felt the fluttering of Y/N chest, the small breaths they managed to get out in between the kissing.

"How do you expect me to leave now?" They whispered with their forehead against his, longing in their voice.

"Don't. I don't want you too" he whispered back with the same distance longing.

Hello my friends!! Here I came with a new volume from this project, thanks to @agusvedder for making the gifs in this meta, if you need some gifs, ask her, she is amazing! And also, she helped me a lot to analyze "The Rapture", bc this is one of her favs episodes! Thank you girl!! 💕💕

This volume is very very Dean and Cas POV, we are going to travel through their fascination for each other, before we enter in the finale volume and talk about Castiel's fall.

Dean's fascination for Castiel

Dean was afraid from the very beginning, but also, so attracted and fascinated with this powerful supernatural been. Castiel's aura full of security, power, beauty, purity, innocence and strength, it was beyond his human understanding. And the fact that this angel had saved him from Hell, giving him a mission, it was too much for him.

It took just a couple of seconds for Castiel to understand the most deepest fears and weakness inside Dean's soul. Dean was captivated, but at the same time, he was insecure about the message. But then this angel went with that thing he said...

This was and this is still the thing with Dean Winchester. And CAS saw it from the first time. A broken human. And Dean should be surprised bc no one ever could find out this.

In their second encounter, Dean felt the powerful energy from this angel. He experimented just a little of how BAMF could be Castiel... Fear/attraction/intimidation/fascination, as I explained before, in that scene in the kitchen, full of sexual tension.

Then... The heart to heart talk in the park. This angel wasn't so unreachable as he looked... He had doubts too...

Castiel said to him, he was special, important, he had a mission, that was a bunch of huge things to process, knowing nobody never had told him such nice things. And that will continue till now.

And how I can said Dean was fascinated with CAS so early in the season? The Rapture 4x20 is the proof.

The Rapture showed us how Heaven punished Castiel when they discovered he had helped Dean to stop Sam to kill Lilith, by telling him about Archangel protecting prophets. And he was trying to reveal Dean their plans, THEY WERE BEHIND THE APOCALYPSE CONSUMPTION, AND THEY WILL USE DEAN AS MICHAEL'S VESSEL. So Castiel, already with his doubts and free will on his door, he decided to help Dean. But it was too late... They took him to Heaven and let his vessel alone.

The scene in the pier, inside Dean's dream was short but very significant...

CASTIEL : "We need to talk."

DEAN : "I'm dreaming, aren't I?"

CASTIEL : "It's not safe here. Someplace more private."

DEAN: "More private? We're inside my head."

CASTIEL: "Exactly. Someone could be listening."

DEAN: "Cas, what's wrong?"

CASTIEL: "Meet me here."

Castiel knew they were being observed by Heaven, and he had very huge news for the Hunter.

But when they went to that place, Castiel wasn't there, but Jimmy Novak.

And here we had two differents attitudes coming from Dean. First of all, he empathize with the poor Jimmy, and wanted to help him to come with his family, but Sam had another plans...

But after meeting Anna on the car (thanks Agus FOR helping me with this thing 😘💕) things changed...

Anna was worried bc Heaven had took CAS, Dean thought that was something good, but Anna said... "No. That's a very bad thing. Painfully, awfully bad. He must have seriously pissed someone off."

And since then, knowing Castiel has something huge to tell him, trying to help him, Dean began to feel worried about the angel. Cas was being punished because of him.

And there we had the switch in Dean.

We had this scene too.

At first I thought Dean is feeling pitty for him again... Maybe is thinking the poor Jimmy has to let his family behind to protect them... But then we had this scene...

That's still Jimmy getting shot, why do they have to show us Dean's face?? Not Sammy, not demon!Amelia, but Dean's face and in such desperate expression. That wasn't Castiel, but it was his vessel. Dean was becoming familiar with this angel, even if the vessel hadn't any magnetism for him, Castiel had. Because it's Castiel's magnetic and mysterious aura, full of power and sexiness, and innocence, his intense gaze, the way he talks and moves, who made Dean feel so attracted to him. But even so... This was his vessel and it was very strange to see him getting shot, maybe if he dies Castiel wouldn't come back?

Then my head came back again to the hug scene between Jimmy and Amelia. And was the same energy. Dean knows he isn't Castiel, but it was weird for him watch his vessel hugging a woman...

Yes .. Dean can properly said... He was fascinated with Castiel, the angel, and not his vessel. It was obvious that Jimmy Novak was a very handsome man, but without Castiel, he was just that. Castiel presence gave him the perfect mix. Beautiful for the outside, and beautiful inside. With the entire description about his aura I already wrote... Perfect combination.

Castiel's fascination for Dean

Castiel felt attracted to Dean from the very beginning. He saw through Dean and found a broken man. A bright and beautiful soul, but broken, he didn't have faith, and he didn't love himself...

In episode 4x07 Castiel was looking at him with such an intensity and curiosity in his eyes. Watching the way Dean Winchester wanted to go against Heaven's orders and follow his own decisions was fascinating... Even if Heaven's orders were to follow Dean's decision, even so, the bright light of FREE WILL in this human was irresistible to him. If Anna represented his doubts and rebellion, Dean will be his teacher in Free Will.

Now, let's focus on 4x20, "The Rapture".

When Castiel came back from Heaven to help Jimmy Novak's family, he took his vessel back, and now BRAINWASHED BY HEAVEN, he avoided Dean's gaze, and he was about to leave without saying a word.

But Dean wanted to know what happened, and what was CAS about to tell him before all this mess.

Agus pointed me Castiel's attitude when Dean called him ...

He didn't want to have to speak with Dean... Bc Heaven had made him suffer and this time they brainwashed him, and strictly put in his head HE OBEY TO HEAVEN. AND NOT GET "CLOSE" TO THIS HUMAN, no more... That's why we had this, Castiel turned around to see Dean, he didn't want that. He didn't want to confront this human that had fascinated him so badly to the point of considering disobedience.

And he repeats then his lesson, learned with blood in Heaven...

DEAN: "Cas, hold up. What were you gonna tell me?"

CASTIEL: "I learned my lesson while I was away, Dean. I serve heaven, I don't serve man, and I certainly don't serve you."

Dean blinks full of confusion, he doesn't understand why Castiel is acting like that... And again that distinction between HUMANS/MAN and DEAN. Is because of Dean, again.

To conclude:

Castiel and Dean were fascinated with each other from the very beginning.

Dean was a mix of fascination, fear and attraction and Castiel a mix of forbidden feelings unexplored.

Heaven acted like a boundary between them, trying to separate his soldier from Dean.

The recurrent assistance from the angel to Dean obligate Heaven to be more rough with their punishment for Castiel. This time Castiel learned painfully his lesson... But not for so long... Because we all know he has this crack in his chasis...
