Bona (Cosmic Girls/WJSN) - One More Present

Request: “can you do a bona scenario where she spends her Christmas with her wife and kid/s and then her kid/s ask for a baby sibling as they're opening gifts.”

The end credits of ‘Elf’ were rolling down the television screen in your living room, you had one arm around Bona, while your kids sat on the ground in a little pile of blankets they’d made for themselves before the movie started.

“Alright guys, it’s time to go to bed. You need to make sure you’re sound asleep for when Santa comes tonight!” You exclaimed, picking your daughter up and taking your son's hand. They had on their special Christmas onesies that Bona had bought them just the week before, as yawns came from the both of them.

Bona followed behind as she chatted to your daughter from behind who was still in your arms. You sent them to brush their teeth and jump into bed. You said goodnight to your son, as Bona said goodnight to your daughter, then you swapped over before closing their doors and making sure they were almost asleep.

You and bona went out to the kitchen, and you began getting out the presents that the kids had put on their Christmas lists earlier that month.

After setting all the presents in two piles on the carpet and the living room, you set to work on cleaning the spilt popcorn and cleaning out the kids’ hot chocolate mugs from that evening. Bona sat at the kitchen counter, smiling at you as you rolled up your sleeves to wash the rest of the dishes.

“I love you,” Bona said, catching you off guard as it was so out of the blue.

“I love you too baby, where did that come from?” You said, smiling at her and drying your hands off.

“I just always imagined starting the perfect family with someone I’m so in love with when I was growing up, and my dream came true.” She said, her head propped on her chin as she gave you a soft smile.

“Come here.” Was your short response, still smiling as Bona walked over to you. You opened your arms and she practically fell into them. Her arms came around your waist as she snuggled into you, inhaling that familiar scent. You kissed the top of Bona’s head, relishing in this perfect moment.

Both of you headed to bed soon after, holding one another as close as humanly possible.

You woke suddenly with the feelings of your kids bouncing on your bed and screaming ‘Wake Up! Wake Up!’ as they gave their best efforts to drag you and Bona out of bed. After throwing on your dressing gown and Bona doing the same, you went into the living room altogether.

“Look mommy look! Santa came!” Your daughter exclaimed, jumping around. Her brother was already getting to work on tearing open the wrapping paper on one of his presents. You grabbed Bona’s hand and pulled her onto the couch, kissing her neck and making her giggle.

“Look! I got a remote control car!” Your son said, turning around with a proud look on his face as he showed you the box. Your daughter had the same reactions to her presents too, especially towards the doll she had been asking for endlessly.

While Bona was helping your daughter dress up her new doll, you were helping your son figure out how to work his remote control car. Within a few minutes, you were all back in the living room and the kids were looking back over their presents.

“I know it’s too late to ask for it Christmas now, but I wish I asked for one more thing.” Your little boy said, turning on his knees to sit before you two. Your daughter was sitting cross-legged beside him as he continued.

“What is it honey?” Bona asked, leaning over and ruffling your son's hair with a smile.

“I want a little brother!” He exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air to emphasize. Your daughter gasped and clapped with a giggle, dancing around the room in happiness.

“Or a sister!” She exclaimed, still jumping around. Your son joined in, jumping around and asking for a brother or sister. You and Bona stared at each other with wide eyes, unsure of how to respond. It was Bona who made the first attempt at trying to figure out what just happened.

“So...” Bona said, holding your hand. You nodded at her with a smile, and as soon as she got that confirmation from you, she smiled back ten times brighter.

“Really Y/N?”

“Really. I always wanted a big family, and like you said yesterday, I too always wanted to achieve that dream with someone who I’m so in love with, and that’s you, baby. It’s you.” You said, leaning in and kissing Bona passionately. You heard a loud chorus of ‘ewwwws’ from the two kids around you. You laughed at them and Bona did the same, before pulling both kids into her lap.

“Now, we’ve thought about what you just asked.” She began, looking at both of the kids in her lap. “And it may not be a Christmas present, but we think that a new brother or sister might be possible.”

The two kids gasped, your daughter moving into your lap as they were even happier than before.

“Thank you thank you thank you!” Your son said, cuddling into Bona’s chest. Your daughter was cuddling into yours, and you decided to switch on the Grinch.

You really could’ve spent forever like that, you, your kids, and the woman you loved the most on the couch together, as a family. A family that you hoped would grow, and you were glad everyone else wanted the same thing as you.

After the movie finished, you started cooking the Christmas dinner for you all, with Bona helping while the kids played with their new toys and gadgets. You and Bona were singing along to Christmas songs while you worked, and you knew then and there that you wanted to spend every Christmas like that until you were old enough to see these days as memories, and you knew that Bona would be by your side until then, your love still as passionate since the first day you met.
