So I have made the ill-advised decision to make a bluesky account. If you want to follow me over there and watch me repost Looking Glasses four pages a day, you can find me at my unsurprising handle:

about geralt and eskel (crossroads spoilers)…
even though eskel wasn’t in crossroads himself, i love how he’s a recurring motif. damn it, i would love to see more about these two. they are like the epitome of “he’s not heavy, he’s my brother”. (and as an only child i find that fascinating, very unique and curious).
and something which hit me. is how geralt and eskel’s relationship changed over time, as they got older.
the first story we ever hear of them is about the bumblebee, a memory from childhood: incredibly innocent and silly, boyish, mischievous. of course, they are disciplined pretty brutally for it* but it’s a real childish game
later, at the beginning of this book—when geralt is still more innocent—he “brightens up” at being able to mention something funny about his brother, recalling his name… he’s left kaer morhen, he’s not side by side with him anymore, but still his memory brightens with a mention of him
towards the end of this book—geralt is still young, but no longer innocent—he uses eskel’s name as a psuedonym, as he’s stalking a man to murder him in cold blood.
it’s a bit of levity to an otherwise predictable situation (we know when the white wolf goes on the prowl, he catches his prey, haha, similar situations can be seen in the saga so we pretty much know how this will turn out)
but despite the dark subject matter, it’s still tinged with a bit of mischief. eskel won’t actually have these murders pinned on him, because geralt uses his name that he doesn’t use anymore, but it’s still a bit like how a boy geralt might respond to vesemir asking who knocked over some alchemy equipment: “noooo, wasn’t me, it was eskel”. funnily shoving the blame onto his brother, who is miles and miles away from him at this point. and wholly unable to retort, “what?! nooo, wasn’t me, geralt did it!”
by blood of elves, both of them have matured, they’re men in their 50s now, they’re professionals. witchers. they’ve both managed to survive. their bond still persists, but is that of men, not boys—a comment, “you’re alive,” a sudden, quick, wordless embrace… a brief moment. and yet they are so similar, carbon copies, just with different color palettes. (select > ctrl-C > ctrl-V > ctrl-U > adjust the hue slider).
and what their bond is now is not so many jokes and mischief, but a shared responsibility, to raise a child, to take care of their home, to bide by their old father, to groan at their younger brother. and between them, a shared sense of nobleness, eskel was very polite and upstanding to triss merigold, geralt was too, and in his emotionality… yeah.
they grew up.
(* note, one could argue that belt whippings are normal discipline in this universe, but i ask you to look at how geralt never beats ciri with his belt, only threatens it once, but never goes through with it—rather he shares with her his food and relents to her the two apples. how tuzik never beat his daughter until he came home one day and she had dressed herself up as falka. and how andrzej sapkowski himself, in historia i fantastyka, said he is such a pacifist he cannot even spank a child. imo, it’s pretty obvious that belt discipline is considered an extreme, it’s used to invoke a sting of pathos in the witcher, it’s unable to be glazed over)

I saw your post tags about transitioning would save Hawkeye pierce and I’m very curious, say more (if you’d like)
hawkeye has a lot of scenes that convey gender nonconformity under a humorous lens. sometimes it’s scenes implying that he’s sexually or romantically attracted to men; these scenes aren’t just “haha he’s expressing attraction to men,” they’re often based around the premise of hawkeye being a wife, being a woman, being pursued/“claimed,” and a shocking amount of references to pregnancy? see: “i know you’re a general and i’m just a captain but i wanna have your baby! i’ll kiss all your stars!”
i.e. the joke being made is about hawkeye liking men but it’s RARELY phrased as him being a homosexual man, it’s OFTEN phrased as him being a heterosexual woman
and sometimes it’s simply scenes calling him a girl or making references to him being soft/feminine/emasculated. often times he will make these jokes HIMSELF and call himself an aunt, a mother, a girl, demure or other adjectives that women were socialized to aspire to in the era. his friends will often refer to him like this without any hint of mocking, just lightheartedness (trapper referring to him as “miz hawkeye”)
i apologize that i don’t have the links right now but if you go into my archive and look in my “mash” tag there are video compliations of a lot of these moments, and the compliations don’t even include all of them
also imo these moments hawkeye has a) contrast with klinger’s relationship to his femininity/gender nonconformity, as he is all about playing with outward presentation, and b) compare with margaret’s relationship to HER gender. which, margaret’s gender by itself is an absolutely wildly progressive examination of womanhood where she is allowed to be “masculine” in many aspects of her life while still asserting herself that she is a WOMAN and always will be despite what she does, or how her life, career, or personality looks. that SHE is the arbiter and determinator of her gender and not how much she keeps into the femininity box. i wish i had concrete examples of why i think this, but it’s been a little bit since i watched the show and i think it’s mostly me reading too much into things
i think also hawkeye’s disassociation issues and complex ptsd is really like. advanced in contrast to other people in the 4077th. he’s the main character for a reason and that’s because he’s the one with the deepest emotional wounds and the drunkest, promiscuous, saddest, most insomniatic doctor in the place. there had been psychological issues in place before he had been sent to korea and none of them were very cut-and-dry as we find.
in conclusion i think the fictional man with noted androgynous presentation who flouts gender conventions as well as masculine army structures and patriarchal power structures and constantly refers to himself as a woman and uses a psuedonym instead of his birth name and has very pronounced psychological issues and self-harming tendencies could be trans in 1950-whatever without good words for it, or be unable to in any way shape or form live authentically, and i think being able to be a woman would have probably made hawkeye’s life just a little bit easier. maybe transitioning wouldn’t save her because estrogen won’t airlift you out of korea but like maybe hawkeye would be a little less buffeted by the outward winds of the world. if any part of the world wouldn’t have buffeted her harder for it, anyways.
i mean, one of mash’s biggest themes at the end of the day is that we’re trapped in the time loop, a small and restrictive and violent thing set up by forces outside of our control that will hurt us if we defy them or dare to do anything the loop doesn’t already contain. and it hurts everyone, all the time, and no one knows why we keep doing it, only that we have to. and hawkeye’s the central victim of this. the time loop is war, the time loop is gender, the time loop is the american empire, the time loop is religion, the time loop is being who you are, forever, as They have forced you to be

My Mistakes Were Made For You
Part three of the Milex Soulmates Saga
Coronation night, 1953, two strangers meet in a bar. It is love at first sight and they feel as though they have known each other forever. They use psuedonyms ‘Philip and Margaret’ in keeping with the day just gone, and spend a magical night together. But forces beyond their control means that one night is all they can have...
1955...Alex Turner is an intelligence officer with MI5, married to a beautiful American woman, and stepfather to a daughter he adores. Miles Kane is a rebel, determined to live as openly gay as he can, at a time when it is still illegal, he mixes with subversives, including his cousin Liam who comes to stay with him after getting on the wrong side of Irish Republicans. When Miles writes an explicit novel about gay men, it is a step too far and he soon is seen as a threat to national security.
When Alex is assigned his first solo assignment - to go undercover to investigate Miles Kane, a man who threatens the status quo, where many high powered men are closeted homosexuals and need to stay that way – he is shocked that this dangerous man is indeed ‘Philip’ who he fell madly in love with two years ago.
Alex accepts the mission, but will he be able to keep it professional and do his duty by his country, or will that unbreakable bond between the soulmates mean he puts himself in grave danger?
More details to follow...

this is the worst ai thing i have ever seen that directly affects ME
for reference, for years (and lowkey still do), i've written many SessKag fics under the pseudonym Tsuki no Tennyo (i've had it since i was 13, shut up idc) and i wanted to find a funny comment to one of my fics so i thought it would be quicker to search up my ff.net page and why tf is this the first thing i see:
Tumblr media
1: that's a fucking pseudonym, not a title!
2: it's referencing my story His & Hers, but they bastardized the summary
3: why is there even an 'ai overview' to my psuedonym this is so fucking weird
4: i'm so creeped out and upset

YOOOOO!!!
I wanna drop in these oc plans.... they have been in my for a good while and I wanna dump about them so badly... This is gonna be long so it will be under the cut. Includes what they represent and how they will look like in terms of fashion. So. Here you go :
• Bloody-Hell Girl (real name - Kat Rudson) : This girl represents the struggles of having instrusive thoughts and unfortunate desires of bludgeoning. For fashion I would give her goth/grunge (more goth-focused) with decorative bandages and idrk, some scene elements
• Pixelized Girl (real name - PiXXY) : This girl represents how these days people only see robots as the same thing and bash on them. She even is a robot herself! For fashion she would def wear decora with a super cute slinky accessory
• Palette Girl (real name - Hinako Kashiki) : This girl represents the overall struggles of being an artist (burnout, no motivation, etc), being replaced by a robot, creating just to be critisized by a parent because of the style and wanting to show everyone that artists are worthy human beings. I would give her mori kei/casual outfit.. but make it colorful
• "Magical" Girl (real name - Kaede Yuzuriha) : Oh boy this girl is my FAVOURITE future girl so far. I based her from Amane Momose from the music project MILGRAM. She represents how voices of cults are not heard, how cults can affect you, the result of an extremely awful parental figure and overall the demise of magical girls. The outfit will be all cutesy, pastel and magical-girl like which represents how she wanted to be just like a child full of color before getting into the hospital
• Lustbird Girl (real name - Cara Burnington; psuedonym is Caramel) : Represents struggles with sexual thoughts/desires and the result of being exposed to R-18 content at a horribly young age. I already got her outfit planned before writing this - all erokawa-like basically
• Poison Girl (real name - Cye Kurstling) : Represents how hurting someone can lead to serious consequences (like poison). I'd say her outfit would be all witch-like since she does witchcraft
• Lightbulb Girl (real name - Bolt Lightyear; it's a pun LOL) : Represents struggles as a mechanic and perfectionism. Her outfit would be all tech-like and mechanic-like
• Ashtray Girl (real name - Aya Arnaldo) : Represents how smoking can affect you(...very obvious), struggles with severe depression, severe mood swings and being afraid to talk without making it sound rude. Her outfit would be more grunge-focused with elements of visual kei band clothing
• Colorful-Death Girl (real name - Fia Harrison) : Represents strong desires of death in many ways (like a colorful, goretesque painting) including on herself. Now her outfit would be gothic lolita styled with some elements of medieval clothing
• Ruined-Harmony Girl (real name - Xeres [read as Ceres]) : Represents the strong hatred against making the day same as always and trying to make the day more interesting, but fails. Hence her name Ruined-Harmony is based off a trope that is always seen in fantasy novels. Her outfit would be fantasy-like for added irony
• Linked Girl (idea from anti-socialexperiment; real name - Kida Fumiko [記田 文子]) : Represents the struggle of keeping things together and perfectionism (in another perspective). Her outfit would be all tech-like with a blue color palette
• Awake Girl (idea from anti-socialexperiment; real name - Thyra Silje) : Represents extreme anger towards annoying and stupid people, mood swings and the struggles of being unable to control your emotions. Her outfit would be Y2K-styled
• And finally... Mummify Girl (idea from anti-socialexperiement yet again; real name - Zorka Ljubena) : Represents the struggles of having mutism and wanting to hide herself, hence her name. Her outfit will be trash fashion (fashion from recycled garbage) with some elements of the outfits of Ancient Egypt pharaohs, and with a LOT of bandages making it to resemble a mummy. Fingerless gloves too with we are real with it
That's all! I hope this was interesting^^ If I have some more I can make a part 2, I will make these girls real someday

Creating character is so fun- especially when they're supposed to represent aspects of you
I've noticed how this goes even as far into chat-sonas!
My sparks and aura sonas aren't really full characters, just really psuedonyms- (garnet [fenris] and periwinkle [Rune] sparks, and Garnet aura! ). A bit of the same for what I used in Icarus's chat- though the choice of soul lantern and Dandelion were important to me!
However, when it gets to where the chat is creatures or even people- that's where it gets more important.
For Ari's chat, (the one time I caught a stream live), I used Flare. I continue to use Flare throughout little drawings. She holds a little source of light, usually a torch or normal lantern! In the calmer times, she'd have a bit of fun holding a flint and steel menacingly. In purgatory, she is occasionally caught with her face deep in a nature related book or tale, or a medical journal/log.
Flare is a bit of me- as well as you can see through my name, "Sparks", intended to light the way. She holds a lantern, which also produces warmth, to both help the other allays and also used to keep them warm when times were tough and their big sis was a bit gone or vexed. Other bits shine through as well- I adore gardening, and I want to work in the medical field. The typical "gross" or "odd" things when it comes to medicine don't freak me out- so Flare's got a bit of that!
For Gyn's chat (ggabraxas), I have Meridee. Gyn's chat is all the old, now-dead leviathans. I'm not in the discord to see too much, but I imagine Meridee as a kind soul with a love for preparing food and also music! Life was tough, but she'd hum songs to the younglings and teach them about the legends and history of the past. A sort of motherly figure!
While Meridee isn't as fleshed out, she's still got bits of me- I love to bake and prepare food, I have started to make music and I love to sing, and storytelling is one of my passions.
To not bore you much longer, whoever reads this far, I've got a few others!
Del - A red-throated hummingbird in Sylph's chat, portrays a bit of chaos as well as caution! Also, she is often found resting on pink or warm toned flower bushes.
Zori - A magpie in Vast's chat! She usually holds a periwinkle, but sometimes picks up a gemstone. She loves little trinkets and makes little dragon-esque hordes of them.
Thank you for reading! if you'd like to share your own chat sonas, I'd love to see them!

i have an idea of just creating a website under my name or maybe a psuedonym and it's just a random picture with no rhyme or reason.
i put that website link on a card like an id card, special print it so it's on hard plastic, and if i ever have a random encounter in life with a person who i know i'll never meet again, i'll give them my card and tell them to keep in touch.
they go to the website and just see a random fucking picture of like a dolphin or something idk.

hello again
Hi Tumblr, this is will coming at you with hopefully my last rebrand for the forseeable future. I don't use this blog much, but I wanted to inform you of both the name change and some very exciting musical news.
For starters, I've just released a full-length studio album under the psuedonym Wilson D. Blake. It's called East of Nowhere and you can find it at any of the links below. I've been working on it for the past five or six months and it's easily the longest musical project I've ever put out there. I put a lot of effort into this so it'd mean a whole lot if you'd give it a listen.
The release of this album directly coincides with the name change of this blog. During the creation of this album I felt the "will2" psuedonym was too limiting for the kind of music I was making and want to make, so I came up with the idea to create an umbrella I could release music under a variety of psuedonyms are. A few months later and I came up with the name Deerhead Recording. Think of it as a fake record label of sorts. I'll be making much more music under this general umbrella and this blog will mostly become an update page (save the occasional friend reblog, y'all know who you are) for any of that, finished or unfinished, under whatever psuedonym I like.
Tl;dr, I want to be as creatively free as possible, so that's why I'm rebranding. Expect a whole lot more music in the future. I hope you can come along with me for the ride.

The first time Hobie Brown looks at Miles, the world goes green and purple. Not red and blue, like normally happened.
He blinks, behind his mask. This is notable all on its own; he prides himself on his composure, on only showing exactly what he wants to show at the moment. But here it breaks.
And some part of him suddenly feels... loss. An inexpressible sadness flashes through him, and images he’s never seen before; an apartment in a world very different from his own, and yet similar enough that it needed a Spider-Man. A man, very much like a brother he doesn’t talk to anymore; a sister-in-law he’s never met in this life. A huge, forbidding man that reminds him all too well of the corporate scum that made his world in need of a man like him.
There’s other faces too. He doesn’t pay much attention to them, and there’s not a lot of importance drawn to them in this strangely familiar sensation. They’re just faces. He doesn’t care that much about them. They feel like some of the foes he’s clashed with.
For some reason, he remembers a psuedonym he used to use a long time ago. Aaron Davis. Why is it important now? Why is it screaming in his head?
He remembers something he’s never experienced before. A metal suit, a fabric augmenting the physical power of the one wearing it; gloves and boots adhering to walls as easily as wall-crawling would, a big flashy cape made of a smart material so it would be a dramatic glider when he needed it, and move with the wind out of the way when he didn’t. Some part of him thinks Prowler with a warm and giddy feeling that feels more natural that his own name does. It’s the same way he feels when he thinks Spider-Man.
The kid, Miles, pops up in these a lot. He’s... important.
His blood runs cold, and his head pulses; it hurts. Why does he feel like he knows him? Why does it hurt so much?
And why does it feel the exact same way as when he met the other Spider-People but... with a whole different context.
He feels the shadow of another life wash over him, and it leaves behind scattered impressions.
Memories of some other life. He didn’t know Miles Morales, but all the same, he felt like he did.
He remembered blood in an alleyway. A wound draining out the life in him. He remembered grief and shame, a sudden too many promises to himself that he could have been better, should have been better.
Hobie opens his eyes. The feeling fades now.
He’s still left with the feeling that he made this kid a promise.
Hobie rolls his shoulders and gets on with it. Well, he thinks. I always keep my promises.
He pauses for a moment.
Even if it was me in another life that made that promise.
