may i request a matchup for haikyuu and bnha? i am a 6'3 built man, 18 years old. virgo and enfp. i play varsity basketball and varsity volleyball. i work out a lot and spend a lot of time at the gym with my teammates. i am very outgoing and willing to make conversation with anyone, anywhere. i'm patient and don't take things to heart. when i'm not at sports i'm playing x-box with my friends. i enjoy school, especially engineering. i'm very strict about my diet as well, and watch what i consume.
Hi dear!!
For MHA, I paired you with Hatsume Mei!
Mei would be the perfect match for you. She's constantly tinkering with her inventions, and she's always excited to have someone nearby who has any chance of understanding how they work, so your engineering knowledge would probably come in handy there! (Chances are, that's one of the first things she notices- how you're one of the only people who doesn't stare blankly as she rambles about her invention and how it works.)
With Mei around, you will never want for the highest quality training and recovery equipment. She'll make damn well sure of that. No S/O of hers is going to deal with lousy half assed inventions when they could be using her brilliant babies instead.
I think you two would match well intellectually, and I think you'd also suit each other emotionally, as you're both rather talkative people who are able to spark up a conversation over anything, anytime, anywhere.
It might be hard, but if you can get Mei to put down her inventions for a bit and leave the lab, you might be able to convince her to play video games with you for a bit, which will be an out of body experience because she's got such a wild personality and doesn't actually care about winning, as long as her goal is met, and she enjoys herself.
I think you'd be good for Mei, since you're patient and don't take things to heart. Mei sometimes gets wrapped up in her inventions and ends up forgetting about a date, or has to cancel because she's had a sudden breakthrough. If you can handle that happening occasionally, you'll do exceptionally with her.
Mei will also be good for you, because she's both fun and methodical, and knows how to make sure you're pushing your limits and working hard without burning yourself out, which it sounds as though you might be apt to do every once in a while.
For Haikyuu, I paired you with Tsukishima Kei!
I can see you and Kei meshing so well? He's kind of an ass, but he's absolutely on your level as far as intelligence goes, seeing as we know he's in the college prep courses in high school, and he ends up as a museum curator, so he's almost definitely got a degree in some form of museum studies (probably with a focus on paleontology).
(Excuse me while I rewrite the rest of this because mobile just had to delete it all 😭)
Kei's a tsundere, but I can see your patience and gentle affection being very good for him, easing him out of his comfort zone into more appropriate (read: less asshole-ish) behavior.
He would be the best study partner for you, and you two would end up having the best grades in class because of it.
And you two would have a blast planning meals and cooking together, because your diets are probably pretty similar, all things considered, and that makes food planning so much easier. (Tsukki's sweet tooth for strawberry cheesecake every so often shouldn't obstruct any of your health progress, although he'll absolutely encourage you to enjoy a slice with him every once in a while.)
I can't decide if you two playing volleyball or video games together would go well or not. Like, if you're on the same team? Everyone else is screwed. If you're on different teams, everything is suddenly super intense and competitive, and even people who know you're dating would swear during those times you two might actually hate each other. (All in good fun, of course, you two actually get along really well, all competitiveness aside, and after a match, regardless of who won, you two get back to normal pretty quickly.)
You two compliment each other nicely, and honestly this would be such a fun, entertaining relationship. (Yamaguchi and the rest of the team would love teasing Tsukki about what a tsundere he is, and how obvious it is that he simps for you, however quietly he does it.)

congrats! may i please get a bnha or hq! matchup? i’m a bi girl. I’d say I’m curious, open-minded, analytical & talkative (I can talk for hours if not stopped hh). i enjoy learning new things (so long as I’m not being graded on it because Oh Boy do I procrastinate!) I try my best to be a good friend, & to prioritise compassion & patience. I’d like to think I’m creative (I love to write!) but, i have a tendency to overthink & catastrophise because ANXIETY. I can also be a bit sensitive — (1/2)✨
Alright, I thought of two people for you, but I think the Haikyuu one I thought of suits you the best. I will talk about who you might suit for in bnha though, but in small hcs.
For BNHA, I thought you’d best suit…
Tamaki Amajiki!
There’s a lot of reasons why I think you’d best suit Tamaki, but the strongest one was simply your seemingly bubbly personality. Sure, you might be pessimistic sometimes, but you’re working on it, and I think someone who is working on being more optimistic would be so good for Tamaki
Tamaki himself is a person with really low self-esteem. Maybe you’d be able to cheer him on more often, seeing as you’d be able to put yourself in his shoes.
I also think someone talkative is perfect for Tamaki. I think he struggles in making a good conversation, not because he can’t speak but mainly because no one can really take him out of his shell. I think with your varied interest, you’d be able to get him to actually have his head up, once in a while.
Tamaki is also a person who requires A LOT of love. He’s a soft babie, and you’d be able to provide all the cuddles he needs, I believe.
For Haikyuu!! I thought you’d best suit...
Kiyoko Shimizu!
Shimizu is a person who is actually very outgoing and social, despite her being a little quiet in the show.
She’s also really smart and loves to listen, sometimes even putting in her own input into conversations she finds enjoyable.
I think she’d also fall in love with your affectionate love language. I don’t think Shimizu gets a lot of love, especially with the whole Karasuno gang fighting over her. I think she’s a SUCKER for hugs and soft kisses, and I think you’d give her some beautiful cloud-nine feelings.
I also think she’d help you get over procrastinating a lot. Shimizu has really high grades (I think-) and she’d love to help you study, as well as reading wiki pages with you and laughing at some of the ridiculous things you can find on there.
A date with Shimizu
“Shimi!!!!”
Your call echoed through the nearly empty school corridors. Your shoes thud hard against the floor as Shimizu turns around to greet you.
“(Y/n)..? I was just on my way to volleyball club.” She says, looking at you in curiosity.
You groan. “Argh! Those boys will be all over you again. How am I supposed to spend time with you?”
She smiles, letting a small laugh leave her plush lips. “You can come along, if you want.”
Your eyes shine in glee at a chance of hopefully spending some time with your beautiful girlfriend.
“Yes!! Let’s go!”
You slyly press a soft peck to her cheek, giggling. You watch red patches bloom across Shimizu’s cheeks as she raises a hand to where you had kissed her. Her lips press together, curling up slightly in amusement.
“Come on then.”
You and Shimizu hadn’t been together for very long, but it felt like you had been fated to meet each other. She was pretty, she was smart, she was polite, she made your heart do literal backflips, and you were so happy you could call her yours. You did keep your relationship quite quiet though, Shimizu got easily embarrassed and wanted to ease into it. You didn’t mind though.
You had heard a lot about the Karasuno team from your daily conversations. Shimizu talked about them highly, and hearing about the deviant fast attack the first years did made you so adamantly curious about volleyball.
“They’re pretty rowdy, so just be careful of the stray balls.”
You scoff. “I’ll be fine! I’ve played volleyball… a few times.”
Shimizu supresses a laugh as you huff. “Hey! I did good!”
She smiled that oh so gorgeous smile of hers. “I’m sure you did.”
Bickering and bantering, you both walk into the gym. The scuffle of shoes and sounds of the ball slamming into the ground filled your eyes. A small first year greeted the both of you.
“Who’s this?” She asked, looking at you. You grin.
“I’m (Y/n)! It’s nice to meet you!” You look at her. “I’m a friend of Shimizu’s.”
Her mouth forms an ‘o’. “I’m Yachi Hitoka, I’m going to be a manager too!”
You hum. “Oh? I’m sure you’ll do a great job Yachi!”
“Th-thank you!”
You felt two pairs of eyes watching the three of you. You decide to ignore you, but a part of you felt a little huffy about them. Were they watching Shimi? Did they like her?
“Shimizu!”
A guy with dark brown hair runs over to the both of you. He was tall and muscular, quite handsome. You had seen him a few times before, he was the captain..? He looked over to you.
“Who’s this?”
“Ah, this is a friend of mine, (Y/n). She came to watch and keep me a little company.”
You wave at him. “Nice to meet you! You’re Daichi, right? I think I have you in one of my classes.”
He blinks, scanning you for a while before his eyes widened. “I think we’re actually in the same homeroom!”
“Oh? Dang, I never really noticed…” You laugh, albeit ashamed at knowing he was in your homeroom class.
He chuckled. “It’s okay. I’ve gotta go back and round these guys up.” He gives you a kind smile. “We hope you enjoy the game.”
And you did. It was so cool to watch them be so hyped about volleyball, and you got to know so many fun people. You learned Tanaka and Nishinoya seemed to have a particular interest in Shimizu, but you couldn’t blame them, she was gorgeous. You helped out with dishing the balls, but simply watching the boys was amazing.
“Right, it’s time to clean up! Make sure the gym is all good for tomorrow!”
“Yes sir!”
You saw Tanaka and Nishinoya watching you and Shimizu again. You decide to get a bit bolder, taking Shimizu’s hand in yours. She blinks and looks at you, turning a soft pink which you loved on her.
“I think, you should tell them.” You say in hushed voice, hoping the boys weren’t nosy enough to eavesdrop. “I know how you feel about this but man, I don’t want to leave you here knowing they still think you’re up for grabs.”
She sighed. “I get what you mean. I understand.”
You watched her face fall at the thought of talking about it, sending you into a flustered state. “I-I mean, if you don’t want to, it’s okay!! I-“
“No, I think…” She bites her lip, but a smile paints its way onto her face. “I think I’m okay with it.”
You glaze over her features, watching and observing to see if she was faking it. She wasn’t. The anxiety within you fades as you place a feathery kiss to the mole on her chin.
“Go on then. I’ll be here with you.”
She smiles, the biggest smile you had ever seen her wear.
“Everyone! I’d like to tell you something.”
The boys look over in interest, confused. Noya and Tanaka drop whatever was in their hands and rush over to her, standing and eagerly awaiting whatever news she had to give. Once they had all gathered around, Shimizu took a deep breath. You squeezed her hand gently, encouraging her.
“I…” She gulps. “I’m dating (Y/n). I’m bi.”
The boys were silent, the news slowly sinking in. It was uncomfortable, tensed, until Sugawara spoke up.
“I had a feeling.”
The group broke into laughs and chuckles, smiling and grinning at the two of you.
“That’s all? I thought it was going to be some sort of really bad news!” Asahi rubbed the back of his neck in relief. Even Tanaka and Nishinoya weren’t exactly phased by the news.
“As much as I’m hurt that she’s taken, as long as she’s smiling, the world will spin.” Tanaka says as Noya nods. “Though you wait, she’ll be charmed by us, you’ll see!”
You grin. “Give it your best shot.”
With tears and laughter, a weight was lifted.
And Shimizu smiled.
