maybe ive gone a bit overboard in trying to make my daughter language sound sufficiently different from the proto language when /qauhinqʷaː/ goes to /hoːvɔ/

#just running my sound changes thru some randomly generated words to see how im feeling about it #and hmmmmmm well i think its fine maybe #these changes are supposed to take place over hundreds of years anyways #basically: diphthongs becomes long vowels; vowels after uvulars and glottal are backed; stuff happens with nC clusters #h is elided at some point but q turns into h after that #oə > oː and gʷ > v #and maybe i could even do ɔ > o / o(ː)C_
