rly happy i got to go to church today!

sure my church has some problems (namely conservative asshats praising trump and a little too much biblical literalism) but overall i genuinely love the people there

also was nice to play violin again, since i havent played since the school concert and my confidence took an eeny bit of a hit from that, i really enjoyed just jammin to some christmas carols in a low stakes place

also as a side note i love christmas/advent for all the normal reasons and also because it means I get to play older hymns and classic carols instead of stupid fucking hillsong worship songs

#also was nice to be able to pray in a physical place #kept me from getting distracted like i do a lot when i pray in other places #also the sermon was v nice it was about the impact that you leave on the world #and making sure that you leave behind something to be missed #to coin a phrase #and yeah #good to be home for that at the very least #and i also got to talk to the rancher who does vet stuff #and may have roped myself into helping castrate a 700lb boar #personal #religion #the yap is strong with this one
