damn today has been a shitty day but in a subtle way where i'm not like actively in a bad mood or anything i'm just like "wow!! a lot of inconveniences are occurring!!! that's much more than average"

#woke up at 5am bc of a fire alarm (actually idk if it was a fire alarm or some other kind of building alarm??? all i know is it was loud)#suitemate jokingly made fun of me for going outside rather than staying in the suite during the alarm #''you know it's gonna be nothing'' ok sure but also even if it is nothing why would you willingly sit in a echoey common room #with a loud high pitched alarm going off???#a person who i really like talking to deleted instagram and i realized too late that i don't have any other contact info for them #so now i just have to hope they're coming back soon so they can see my phone number i sent them #and my current roommate (who i'm not close with but is very nice albeit a bit shy) is switching to another room in the suite #so she can live with her friend. and no one's taking her place which would be an objectively good outcome i much prefer a single room #but it still makes me a bit insecure bc everyone in this suite is one big friendgroup and i'm just a random person who got place in here #idk i think i should just try to take a nap i haven't slept since the alarm this morning #i have a bellini zoom planned for tomorrow so i already know that's gonna be better lmao

#my coworker was talking about how her sister keeps telling her to move down to nc and live with her for a while but coworker doesn’t want to #bc her sister is ‘too generous’ - she has a guy they were distant friends with as children sleeping on the couch for the past month ish bc h #e was discharged from the military due to too many TBIs and needs a place to stay since he has no family + the spare room is being used for #a few months by another distant past friend who had to drop out of grad school (but she’s moving out next month which is why the sister want #s coworker to move in next)#and i’m like GOD that’s the dream. i want a big big house with a million rooms so everyone knows if they need a place to stay they can come #stay with me. i want all of my friend’s first thought to be ‘ddr can help me out’ when housing is complicated #i wish kayla and nina would live with me i would take naps with kayla and make sure nina eats every few hours and i wouldn’t mind the mess o #r coming/going at strange hours bc bitch me too and also i love you i want you to sleep well i want to be there for you

#random post #I don’t mean that as in ‘yea woo let’s party and get fucked up’ like no lol #I just mean. our house is a place where people get along #there’s no expectations here. wanna sit and talk? we can hang out and talk about whatever #wanna play a game? chances are a few other people do to #need to get away for a bit and maybe take a nap? we’ve got plenty of beds take your pick. we’ll make sure no one bothers you #hungry or thirsty? help yourself don’t be shy. we can always get more #like we had ppl over on Saturday and it was so FUN like ppl would talk all together and then different conversations would split off of that #we would go outside then back in. we had food and some ppl had alcohol #we were laughing SO hard about funny shit (like discovering that my sisters bf worked on the gas meter at grandpas but didn’t SAY ANYTHING #ABOUT IT LMFAO) my cousin brought his gf to meet everyone and she just fit in perfectly and so obviously had an obsession for animals #her and my sister were like sudden bffs it was hilarious. my brother and younger cousin ate at 2:40 and slept upstairs till 6:00 #and all we did was turn of the light and put on a fan for em lol. crack up at how comfortable they were #me and my lil sister were walking up and down the driveway talking and looking at the stars. the nap duo were pointing out constellations #when most everyone left it was my household and my sister and her bf. she played uno flip and incoherent with me (usually no one does lol)#and we laughed very hard at all of the adult cards. one of the hints she gave for sidechicks was ‘sad used to have a lot of these’ and #I immediately got it. it was fun. we blasted music from the 2000’s and ate bread #I slept for 11 hours that night lmao and I was tired the next day but I wouldn’t have changed it. I like them lots #it’s days like that that make me think I’m more extroverted than introverted. just because I don’t always know what to say doesn’t mean #I don’t like to talk yn? anyways I’m writing a novel in the tags but I don’t care <3 I just love us and I wish #other people were able to have love and fun times often #I hope this doesn’t sound like me bragging about my home life. trust me I know it’s not some shining light in the darkness or whatever #but it’s something. and I don’t mind sharing my love with other people

But of course, Victor and Smiler had to dress up too! So, once they'd completed their pumpkins -- both excellent quality, I'm proud to reveal -- I had them pick their costumes! Victor stayed with Alice's space-related theme and put on an astronaut suit, while Smiler ended up as a cheerleader as I wanted to see what the masculine form of the outfit looked like. Kinda -- dull, honestly. I was expecting something with brighter colors. *shrug* Ah well, at least I'm sure it was comfortable! They headed inside to noodle around on their instruments -- Victor working again on that damn song that's been in his inventory for AGES because songs take TOO LONG TO WRITE; Smiler just singing someone else's song on their guitar -- while Alice headed upstairs to nuzzle Kelly and give her some love --

AND THEN, A POSSESSED CHILD APPEARED. O.O Well, more specifically, a random kid came up on the porch (the game didn't label her a trick-or-treater, and she didn't have a costume, so I guess she was just a random visitor), knocked on the door -- then pulled out a digital sketchpad and started sketching. And I'm guessing that's an item that kids aren't actually supposed to use, as she promptly did that thing where the legs stretch out and the kid starts hovering because the game's trying to use the adult skeleton or something. *facepalm* Sims 4, why are you like this sometimes...

However, something else appeared on the porch as well, as the possessed child finished up her sketching and eventually wandered off -- a specter! I figured that you HAD to give specters a gift on Halloween and had Smiler offer it their latest batch of skin balm. The specter was NOT appreciative -- possibly because it doesn't have skin. Smiler's attempts to communicate didn't pan out either, and I had them head inside to instead do something else Spookfest-related --

Namely, watch a terrible horror movie about a killer bunny-man with a chainsaw. At least, I think that's the intended plot of Moonlight Massacre III in-game. XD It took me a bit to get everyone settled properly on the couch, and there was another interruption from a trick-or-treater midway through(which I didn't mind, as it allowed Smiler to give them some candy and tick the tradition on their list), but they did get through it, and they all seemed to enjoy it well enough. Victor and Alice then had some cake and went to bed while Smiler went to jam on their guitar (getting skill level 9 out of it, yay), all while the jack-o-lanterns burned merrily in the front yard and the fish swam merrily in their little tank. :) It seemed to be the perfect Spookfest...

And then Alice woke up shortly before the 2 AM cut-off time with her Fury RAGING, despite an earlier Somber Howl and the fact that it was a new moon. Once again, I figured it was easier to tip her over the edge than try to bring it down, and so she ended her Spookfest with another brief rampage, marking her territory and digging in the dirt. I mean, at least this time she didn't change uncontrollably under a full moon in the middle of a party full of Smiler's friends? :p Maybe Alice going on a little werewolf fury-fest is gonna be another Spookfest tradition around here...

Anyway -- next week, we have a brief break from the Chill Valicer Save so I can show off another one of my builds here! And then the week AFTER that, it's back to farm chores and store stuff! See you then!

meanwhile you literally barely if at all see her praising *anyone* like that. Maybe Zagreus, but thats cuz like. He's the main character, who we play as, and the current focus of the story.

Considering the fact we dont know about Hypnos and his accomplishments then yeah, commendable is on the right track, to my recollection she doesnt' even say she's proud of Thanatos, she treats Thanatos the same???

Yet it's only highlighted on Hypnos's behalf because he's someone who points it out because he's *elated* to get that praise. Thanatos is just more cool and not pointing it out in a fashion that makes us realize *that is how she praises people* Her way of expressing her love isn't the same for each son, and it isn't the same for each person. THE FACT SHE PULLS HIM TO THE SIDE TO SPESIFICALLY SAY "HEY SON. YOU'RE DOING GOOD" IS MOR THAN SHE DOES FOR THANATOS???? TO MY KNOWLEDGE???

Also the comment of "she wont even let him call her mom!" like yeah. You don't call your mom, mom when youre working together. That's just?? IF YOU'RE AT YOUR JOB. YOU DONT ADDRESS UR ARGUABLY CO-WORKER/BOSS. AS MOM.

thanks for the kind words the other day :-) i got my period yesterday so thats whats making it soooo much worse but im trying to keep myself busy even tho thats really hard rn bc i have no interest in anything which sucks but whatever. im thinking of taking my sisters to an ecopark tomorrow, just to get out and do something different and have a nice day out :-) so im looking forward to that

went through a neuro-psych testing today (to confirm autism & adhd), and all the info they had given me prior indicated a four-hour session with results given 1-3 weeks after. about halfway through the psychologist said she had everything she needed and told me to come back at the end of this business week for the results, because “they would be fairly straightforward”.

i’d made the joke several times that they were going to diagnose me on spot due to how bad i think my adhd had gotten, but i didn’t think i was going to be practically right about it.

Love the idea of Kae getting used to eating consistent meals bc of a significant other or even a friend who made it a point to always eat with him to ensure he doesn't forget, and even gaining a little weight as a result, even with his metabolism.

With Luc; however; going to see him; he gets an urge to front mor #//And snacking means he's less likely to make faces when the alcohol doesn't sit right with him/he drinks too much #//So Luc's less likely to deny him drinks. Charles; Kae can just charm more out of him regardless. Luc takes more convincing #//Drinking at Cats Tail helps too; bc Margaret makes SURE he's had smth before drinking. She understands him in that regard #//Typically makes him eat smth that ends making him sleepy like soup so he heads home & promptly passes tf out hitting the pillow #//He's not actually caught on to the fact that she does this on purpose in the entire time he's been a patron with her #//He keeps chalking it up to how relaxed the mood there is that lulls his body into some sense of security #//bc he DOES gets sleepier around ppl he trusts for that very reason; is why sometimes he pulls away from them #//If Addie manages to get her hands on him before he skeddadles out of the Winery; she'll have him tucked away and sleeping in no time #//And actually having the MOST restful sleep he's ever had in AGES; up until he startles himself awake and realizes Luc's home #//And has to book it TF out of the Winery bc he doesn't want to deal with the man & bicker so soon after waking #//He's already made vulnerable by Addie's care; he doesn't need Luc to carve him right open if their bickering goes too far. Not like this #//It'd be all too easy #//Is also why he likes staying awake and watching people he cares for sleep.
