reading through my WIPs like, is there too much volleyball in this volleyball fanfic?
#im straight up thinking about potential rotations for the frogs so that the plays i wanna make narratively make sense to be actual plays#im strategizing who would hit when and why and serve receive positions and just#this is how i know ive gone too far#i actually LIKE the volleyball#like the strategy is interesting to me and the match scenes are uhh getting longer bc i just wanna keep making blocking metaphors and more#of kyoutani getting in little silent pocket fights with other players (daishou currently lolol)#and likeeee im pretty sure the readers of this eventual longass friends to lover fic arent gonna be that interested in whether or not#kyoutani's final spike is a back attack or not#bc he plays opposite and i wanna have kogane next to tsukki but usually players dont //call// for a back attack#and him calling the attack is relevant ish#so that means the rotation has kyoutani next to tsukki instead with kogane in the server position#and i'm VERY interested in all that detail but will anyone else be??? doubt it lmaoo#but am i gonna do it anyway?? hell yeah i am#this is my volleyball fic and theres gonna be volleyball dammit#i mean it'll read nicer than i just explained tho lol#im not gonna actively emphasize the rotation#i just want it to be accurate for my own sanity#anyway there isnt even gonna beee that much volleyball i dont think?#we'll see how carried away i get lmao#and now ive written an essay in the tags goodbye#x#YO WHAT'S UP THIS POST HAS BEEN IN MY DRAFTS SINCE LITERALLY OCTOBER OF LAST YEAR#AND GUESS WHAT!!! this fic is finally being posted hell yeah lmaooo#goodnight#(also reading through this tag mess lol this whole bit i was writing then changed and isn't as important as i thought whoops)
