For Dainsleif: Without any doubt, it's Inteyavts. Being the flower of Khaenri'ah, it's significance to him is quite obvious. Unfortunately, it cannot exist outside of the nation, meaning there's no way he'd be able to find it in the wild.}

Dainslief, I can see him having a way with words as well, regardless of how cryptic he might sound at times. He can be surprisingly sweet when he feels like it, even using some old Khaenri'ah-language terms of endearment every now & then. if he uses those with someone, that just shows how much they mean to him.}

{For Zhongli, I can see him going for typically calmer people, not liking those who are too high-energy and spontaneous.

For Dainsleif, hm... same with Zhongli, tbh. Mans deserves someone relaxing to be around after all he's been through, so someone's who's very kind (even to a fault) and understanding. Though, it is kinda funny imagining him falling for someone who's more high-energy than he is. Or someone's who's equally as snarky as he can be at times.}

Dain strikes me as the kind of person to not make such a decision/commitment without thinking it over considerably, what with his status as an immortal & bearing his curse. To think someone managed to make enough of an impact on him with all the walls he had up to have him want to ask such a personal & intimate thing, it's mind-boggling to him. Yet gives him this sweet, giddy "teenager in love" feeling he hasn't felt in near-forever. Just... him saying while asking them to marry him that they've given him peace like never before & he only hopes he can do the same for them.

But if he was the one being asked? OOF. ;u; Mans would probably break. Bc he's been solitary for five-hundred years, with a painful curse gradually eroding him, bearing the guilt he must feel for the destruction of Khaenri'ah.

Forced to harden himself in order to hunt down the Abyss all on his own, both to get rid of them as well as to vanquish his own guilt. To make up for his faults in some way. Never given the chance to properly process the trauma of his homeland being utterly & completely erased by the Archons, too focused on tracking down the Abyss to do that, to give himself a single thought.

So to hear someone loves him enough to want to be with him for the rest of their life? To have someone at his side who understands what he went through & doesn't care about the potential risks (the Abyss coming after them or Dain himself succumbing to his curse)? OOF. It'd mean the world to him.

Zhongli, on the other hand, would be the type to ask it likely just while out on a walk around Liyue Harbor or while sat down for tea. Just throws it out there, of course he'll have a ring that Hu Tao likely helped him pick out. This whole event has me super inspired!! I love the islands, I think they’re so beautiful! I can’t wait to see where the story will go from here now that all of the others have arrived too!!

Kaeya:

Diluc says in one of his voice lines that Kaeya loved summer as a kid and seemingly still does! And in addition to that, their shared echo conch lines show that the two would go hunting for seashells together too

So going on a little beach vacation together would be a dream come true for our favorite cavalry captian! Not only does he get to bask in the sun, but he gets to see you in a swimsuit! Kidding….unless…

Kaeya will be at the beach all day so be prepared to sweat and have sand on you! And bring an umbrella too so you can have some shade!

He loves to play in the water too, he’ll definitely splash you and try to dunk you under! He’d love if you did that to him too :) being here makes him feel young again, it’s nice to shed his adult responsibilities with you for awhile! Just the two of you, watching the waves and the crabs run across the sand :) perfect!

You enjoy the warmth of the sun, the sound of the waves, the cool water, the hot sand, the pretty shells…Yeah, he gets it now

Xiao will do everything you tell him to pretty much. He’ll get in the water, he’ll make a sand castle and he’ll slaughter any crab that dares to raise it’s pinchers at you lmao

He wouldn’t like a long vacation cause tbh he can’t really sit there and enjoy it for long. A weekend getaway is all he can handle but as long as he gets to see you smile like this, he’ll come to the beach every day for you

He has so many stories about all of the various beaches in Liyue, if you let him plan the trip it’ll be amazing

Zhongli loves to bask in the warm sun, you won’t see him in the water much but you will get to see him in all of his archon marked glory

He’d love for you to lay beside him all day long in the sand, chatting the day away with the sound of the rolling waves in the background :’) beautiful

His idea of a vacation is quite literally…doing nothing. So if you want to look for shells and stuff tell him!! Don’t get me wrong of course Zhongli will want to do those things with you! It just won’t really cross his mind until you mention it

Zhongli doesn’t really swim though. After fighting Osial…Battling his hatred for seafood…And the fact that rocks sink instead of float…he’s not going any deeper than his knees into that water lmao

Since Albedo is usually absorbed in his research, he wouldn’t notice that something was wrong immediately.

But once he does, he immediately diverts all of his attention on you.

He kinda treats you like Klee, in the sense that he does the same things that makes her happy with you.

So he’ll run his hands through your hair while whispering sweet nothings.

He’ll snuggle with you under the covers and take a nap with you, promising that nothing would get to you while he was around.

Diluc Ragnvindr

Diluc is a bit like Albedo, but would notice quicker.

He’ll assure that once he’s finished with his duties, he’ll be right at your side.

And once that moment is met, he will be before you on one knee, holding your hands. As well as your gaze.

If it’s something that he can’t swing his sword at or someone he can talk to,

Tbh i genuinely think that Kaeya would adore your wings!

If you allow him to, he’ll pet them and stroke them in the way that you direct him. He’ll probably be so careful while preening your wings, too, since he doesn’t want to disappoint you or make you feel uncomfortable. 

During the spring, i can totally see him complimenting your wings on how prettier and shinier they’ve gotten.

If your wings are sensitive, causing you to shiver when he touches them at first, he would so tease you about it, the little shit. Probably every other time, too.

“Do you enjoy my touch that much, dove?” what a cocky little shit smh

When he shows you around Mondstadt. you both have a great time! However, one problem is that because of your large wingspan, it’s best that you don’t enter small shops in fear of breaking stuff due to their strength, even if you can control them well. Another problem shouldn’t be a problem but, well, is. Your wings are pretty unusual in Mondstadt, since they don’t really have non-humans or half-humans wandering around like in Liyue. as such, many people are so interested in your big white wings,.

Basically, people have the tendency to crowd you and ask to touch your wings, which is typically a no-go from randos since it can mess up the feather alignment.

So Kaeya typically sticks with you as if he were your personal bodyguard! It’s super sweet. He makes jokes about it too, sometimes joking about how you could form a boyband if you managed to rope Diluc and maybe one of your male friends from Liyue into the gig. 

Aside from being attention grabbing and ruckus-causing, big wings can also be troublesome when it comes to finding clothes! You typically stick with backless options, sometimes racerbacks, and usually without a neckline (unless it has buttons or velcro) for ease of putting on and taking off.

That means you can’t really swap clothes with Kaeya tho, since he doesn’t strike me as a guy with too many backless tops. He does buy some eventually! Just for you to steal haha.

Speaking of clothes, since he has that feather boa thing around his neck, i can totally see him asking you for some of your discarded or molting feathers to weave into there, just to have a piece of you with him!

⠀ 「 DILUC 」

He’d be cautious around them! He probably hasn’t seen many winged humanoids, so he kind of has to get used to seeing you. He’d probably be aware of not sneaking up on your from behind, since those white things are huge, and he doesn’t want to risk getting knocked back if he surprises you. 

He doesn’t mind you sitting in the Angel’s Share, since it’s kind of fitting for you to be there, what with your wings and all. In a way, you sort of became the mascot for the place. 

This results in some problems, though, like when some of the more drunk patrons proposition you and call you a ‘pretty boy angel.’ It’s not something that requires any direct action aside from ignoring them, but once in a blue moon a rather aggressive drunk would be too forward or pushy with their advances. It’s still no problem though–– not when you can just send a gust of wind their way to spill their drink and topple them to the ground with a flick of your wing.

Diluc would probably send for a tailor to custom-make some clothing for you that is easy for you to put on and is comfortable for your wings. He’d ask that the fabric your clothing would be made out of is light and aerodynamic, too, for your ease of flying.

If you ask him, he’ll give you a room in the winery to do as you please-– so you can make a huge nest if you want! Diluc will even get you as many blankets and pillows as you need. Sometimes he’ll even join you–– It much comfier than he expected.

You’re sometimes the big spoon, but usually you prefer to lay on your front and sort of drape your arm around him, since you don’t want to cramp your wings.

If work is slow at the winery and the tavern, sometimes Diluc will go flying with you. Well, to him it’s more ‘gliding’, really, since he glides and you can flap your wings. But it’s still loads of fun! With your masterful control, you’d dart around his form in midair and sometimes create updrafts for him so that he can stay in the air for you just a little while longer.

I can see him being hesitant in letting you carry him though, even if he does trust you.

If the two of your get caught in the rain, you’ll extend one of your wings to cover Diluc from getting wet!! Sometimes this ends with a sweet rainy kiss, other times Diluc worries you might strain the muscles in your wings, even though he should know better.

⠀ 「 CHILDE 」

Honestly? Super excited and 100% wants to fight you.

Of the three, he’s probably the least caught off-guard that you have large white wings. After all, he’s aware of Ganyu the half-adeptus and her quilin horns, and he’s aware of the part illuminated beast Yenfei and her horns due to the research of the Fatui. He probably heard of you and your white wings before he even met you due to his information network.

He’d compliment your wings, compliment how meticulously clean they are and how strong they look, he’ll probs compliment how strong the guy they’re attached to looks too. Flirty little gremlin.

He’s aware of how big wings can be inconvenient indoors, so for date night, he’ll sometimes rent out whole sections of restaurants with high ceilings to have dinner in, just so that you can stretch your wings without inconveniencing anyone.

Childe will undoubtedly drop heavy hints that he wants to spar with you, and he wants to fight you while you use your wings, too. When you finally agree, he’s over the moon.

It sounds kinda morbid, but during your fight, he sort of tests his prowess with a bow against you when you take to the skies. He’s positive he can hit you at least one or twice, but he find it so hot when you easily dodge all his arrows, knock a couple out of the sky, and even casually catch one or two.

At one point, if you pin him down and use your weight and muscle mass + the weight of your wings to hold him down? He’s really into that.

Like Diluc, he’d probably go gliding / flying with you if he has freetime. unlike Diluc, if you guys go flying after he’s fought you and seen how nimble and how much control you have in the air, he’ll absolutely pester you until you carry him.

It’s an adrenaline rush for him to be in your arms and to be flying like this! It’s this experience that really shows him the difference between flying and gliding.

If you ever do that thing where you tuck in your wings and go into a free-dive to the ground, Childe would probably scream-laugh, though it turns more into an adrenalized whoop when you extend your wings mere seconds before you two are pancakes.

He probably loved the adrenaline rush of that too, and practically demands that you carry him like that again. 

Another one who has custom clothing made for your comfort and for practicality! I said it before, but Childe is a literal sugar daddy who will get you anything. Be it oil for your wings, a new backless top, or even specific sheets for your added comfort, it’s all on the table.

"You need to keep this on your head." Your lover said for the one-hundredth time, placing the cold cloth on your forehead once again after taking it off only seconds earlier.

"This is pointless," You said, no longer wanting to ignore nor hide behind the invisible thick curtains of the obvious death sentence approaching. "My body rejected the medicine the first twice doses, what's a third time going to do?" You asked, knowing Albedo wouldn't answer; your hope was to knock some sense into his thick skull. but he was too worried trying to ignore the obvious as you had previously been doing, not anymore though.

This was saddening to watch, both Albedo's unfolding and the girl who accidentally poisoned you, whimpering into Sucrose's shoulder. She was only a young girl, barely seventeen when she was chosen to work under Sucrose and your boyfriend. She was very good at Alchemy and luckily had a desire to practice the craft. But unfortunately, she hadn't paid much attention when it came to Surcrose's educational poison lesson and had unknowingly mixed up poisonous liquids and materials.

After tipping over some clutter in Albedo's office and knocking over a test tube laying unsealed on the counter, you had realized the contents spilled on your skin, bleaching into your pores. You had been tasked with bringing the famed alchemist and his assistant some vials and materials for the collection of a rare butterfly they had found. It was both telling and obvious that something was wrong when you never showed up with the required materials requested and it was already too late hours later when the chief Alchemist, his assistant, and Alchemist in training came bounding down the stairs of Albedo's home laboratory.

It didn't take long for the trio to realize something was wrong. Sucrose had found the vile on the floor, most of its contents spilled and in a little puddle, plus your state on a nearby lounge chair was obvious; slumped awkwardly, forehead visibly sweating, eyes closed, breathing raspily.

You accepted the first doses of the supposed nullifying medicine without hesitation, just wanting the numbing feeling to go away. But when it never kicked in you decided it would be best to save the medicine, because it wasn't working. Your time was coming.

"Since the medicine is taking immediate effect, you should try to get the contents out of your system," He said, reaching out for you. Badly you wanted to argue that the medicine wasn't working at all, but he wasn't listening and already has his lean arms wrapped around your middle, helping gently lift and guide you over to the sink.

You hear materials being shoved to the side and soon enough you had your head dangling over the sink, shaking hands gripping the metalled edge tightly. Soon enough, Albedo's hand was on your back rubbing up and down, hoping to comfort you, it wasn't working though. You could only think about your death, what the other side would look like. Could there even be heaven or hell, maybe a place in between, maybe nowhere...?

As soon as you felt the urge to vomit, you did, and despite it being utterly disgusting Albedo seemed to welcome it happily. He took this as something good, but it only worried you when you saw the reddish hues in the bile.

"I think they should leave." You muttered acknowledging Sucrose and Elizabeth, the taste of gooey, metal only becoming more apparent. The blonde agreed, nodding and muttering "Okay."

As Sucrose lead Elizabeth towards the stairs, the pair heard you say. "Goodbye Sucrose, Elizabeth." Which only seemed to make the young girl wail louder.

You sighed sadly once the silence was back. Just your thoughts of death, and Albedo's slowly crushing heart.

"You should probably leave soon as well. I don't want you to be here when I go." Albedo frowned at your statement, head shaking.

"Don't say things like that."

Of course, he'd say that. Why did he feel the need to ignore this when it would only come back to hurt him even more later on when you were gone?

If it was your list desire, your last wish, he'd make it come true. Though it would be difficult. Accidental or not, she was the reason you were leaving him here, alone.

"Okay, I'll try..." He said honestly.

"Thank you," You said, letting out a shaking breath you had been holding for a very long time. Now you felt much more peaceful. "And since I know you stubbornly won't leave," You started, finally turning away from the sink to look into his cerulean eyes. "At least hold my hand."

"Of course, love."

even a year after your death, no matter how hard he tried, there was still this nagging feeling every time he looked at Elizabeth

she had, although accidental, taken the one person that meant so much to him and he'd never forgive

Albedo is gonna be distant towards everyone he knows and it's completely purposeful

he doesn't like the pitiful gazes that people send his way and he hates that all the captains stared at him at your funeral

obviously, some questioned if he was able to stay in the field

he hadn't taken any time off, even when Jean advised he was welcome and that it would be best

tbh, albedo's going to have a hard time for a while

Why did it have to be you? Why not him? He'd feel much better knowing you could live another day, after all, he'd been living a very long time.

But no, the fallen Archons, Gods, Yaksha had chosen you to join them. He wished that weren't the case

Humans and their pathetic vessels... So weak, he thought. Allowing something like cancer to beat them.

No matter how harsh it sounded, he didn't despise you, no. It wasn't your fault. You didn't ask for this. He just knew that if you were a godly being this wouldn't have happened like this or at least not so soon; Xiao had known Gods that had terminal illnesses to live years. Why couldn't you be like them?

He hated watching you lie there in that bed, immobile, sickly, and tired, and all you could say was that everything was going to be alright, that he'd be alright.

But it wasn't. He wouldn't be okay without you. He would struggle daily, fall deeper into a hole. You were the light of his life, the only light in his life. And you were gone, just like that. Turning external scars into internal ones tattered all over his dying heart.

Xiao for the longest time has been by himself, so the people of Liyue know it'll be harder for him to overcome this, no matter what he says or does to prove otherwise

Zhongli in particular knows how hard this will be for his friend

his first and probably last love, dead, gone in the blink of an eye

he'll continue fighting all the monsters he crosses, becoming even more violent when he does so, trying his best to get rid of this stupid sickly feeling of heartbreak

but it won't go away, no matter what he does, no matter how absurd

he just wants the feeling to go away, he despises that feeling so much

if you have a secret place somewhere, like in the mountains, Zhongli often finds him there, wallowing in invisible self-pity

"You know they wouldn't want you to be like this." Zhongli would say, only trying to help

but it doesn't

it only enrages Xiao, even more, fuels him to push everyone out of his life again instead of letting them in like he'd done in your presence

How dare you. How dare you leave him like this. Alone, nonetheless with a toddler to raise who kept crying for her mommy. He couldn't do this without you, he didn't know how to raise a child, speak to her with the gentle care that you did. That was your expertise but now he'd be doing it solo.

And never again would he entrust someone who he cares about, into ignorant, incompetent arms. Never again will he ever allow any member of the Fatui to watch after his daughter; no matter their rank or position. They had one job while he was away doing business in Liyue. Guard your home twenty-four seven, accompany you into Inazuma's port town should you need anything, watch after his daughter while she plays happily in the luscious Inazuma fields. And they couldn't do that. All he gave them was one simple task, watch and keep you and your daughter safe. Instead, they slacked off, probably drunk in some bar while you were being brutally attacked by murderous mercenaries, left to fend for you and your daughter, only to die protecting her and leave your home to be severely burned.

He knew those idiotic Fatui soldiers were incompetent the moment he stepped foot into the harbor and found that everyone seemed to quiet down. Especially the eerily silent soldiers flanked on each side to welcome him home; he was the highest-ranking soldier in the land of Inazuma after all. Not a single one bothered to step forward and tell him what was wrong, what they all criminally allowed happen. Scaramouche only realized what had happened when he was mere minutes away from arriving home, his daughter had come running from his widowed mother's arms, the sight of smoke rising in the air, from the direction of his home. You were nowhere to be seen.

It all happened so fast, in the blink of an eye. His daughter was clinging to his shirt and his mother only stared with tears of pity.

It didn't take long for the puzzle pieces to be put together and before he knew it, Scaramouche was standing in front of his home, part of it burnt to a crisp and black.

He didn't need to ask what happened, he didn't need to know where you were, because he already knew. What he didn't know was who exactly had done this. But he was going to find out, now.

Incompetent, selfish, bastards. They would all pay for this. The lazy piggish Fatui soldiers who he should've never trusted with such a simple task and the thieves who had murdered you. They all had it rightfully coming.

Scaramouche hates the world after he lost you

he's not a good person, so he blames it on karma and those stupid idiots who couldn't protect you

ngl, he's not gonna be around much after your death... his mother would argue that he should be here to raise your daughter, because she's also in pain and doesn't understand that this isn't some game of hide and seek this time

instead, he's focused and driven by revenge

he doesn't listen to a word anybody says, he's much more dangerous than before, and he only trusts his judgment

anyone trying to get him to stop his mission, is someone who doesn't want to see him happy he thinks (though that's not true at all. they hate that he is obsessive over this) but he will personally put a stop to that

and he'll only return home to his daughter and mother when he finds who did this and they along with their bloodline is exterminated

while he's gone, the remainder of his family is relocated somewhere he knows they'll be safe, for example, even though he despises childe, he knows his mom and daughter will be safe with his family

sorry, but Scaramouche will hold this deep-rooted hatred and love for you after you die

yes, he still loves and misses you dearly, but he hates you for leaving him alone, hates that although it wasn't intentional and out of your control, that you were gone

no matter how hard you tried to fight, it was selfish of you to leave him like this

he's not going to stop until he believes whoever was behind this is dead

and in his case, he'll stop believing when he chooses, even if they are innocent/guilty, he'll keep going

Going on dates with him is mainly you guys conversing together, although both of you are comfortable to sit in peaceful silence together, talking with each other is the highlight of all the dates.

Simple dates that you and him enjoy with a wide selection of foods while talking about anything. Getting dinner with him enjoying some traditional Liyue food while he tells you stories about his days about being Morax or any topic that comes to mind. Watching him wave his chopsticks still holding food around calmly as he recounts an interesting event that he had seen today.

You guys get desserts right afterwords if one of you guys crave it. You like to point out that his dessert was going to go bad if he didn’t eat it because he keeps on rambling. You love it though. I just think that another ideal date would just be you being out and about while Zhongli watches with literal stars in his eyes.

While he may not know a lot about the sport, he’ll recall some similar things he saw earlier in his life.

Sometimes you guys would do something together like ancient Liyue arts that he is very glad to teach you. He’s so down to simply do anything with you, wether it be practicing some sort of skill with you or simply shopping. In all honesty he just loves being by you and teaching you. Even if you can’t focus on what he’s showing you, he just chuckles at your dazedness and asks if you would like to do something else. He won’t get mad at all of you ask him to show you the steps again, seeing the twitch of your lips when watching him is enough to shine in his memory.

He loves the same things you do! You guys coordinate so well together. He’s more than happy to supervise your hobbies and offer advice while he does the same alongside you. Zhongli appreciates and loves your passion and creativity. He thinks it’s just gorgeous how you could create something so unique and have such a determined dead set mind. He’s always been one to appreciate your passions. He will sing so many praises, going on and on how extraordinary your craft is. Even if it’s simple he’ll always call you skilled and amazing at whatever you had made this time.

He just loves cuddling you. Holding you close to his body while you try to sleep.

He’s a bit confused on while you switch up on touchiness so often. One second you wanna wrap your hands around him and the other you make him go the end of the bed. This man really does try to reason with you. Trying to get you to come back into his warm arms. He’s even pouting a little and his tail wraps around your arm to try and tug you back into his embrace. He tells you that sleep didn’t feel right the next day.

Zhongli is so enamored with your athleticism too. He is constantly watching you practice or applauding you when you preform something right. He enjoys watching you and often gives you various tips to similar things.

You often wonder how he never gets bored of watching you workout. He won’t admit it but he keeps himself entertained by letting his mind wander to other thoughts. While he keeps his composure most of the time, there was one time that he really couldn’t help himself with how delectable you looked. Heaving breaths leaving your chest, a smile on your face, and sweat gleaming down your body as you waved at him. He’s insatiable sometimes.

Under that sweet knowing smile he flashes you with he wants to see you sweat and tremble under him.

He gets so entertained when he imagines you riding him instead, letting you use his chest as reigns while he looks up and down your gorgeous body.

He loves the indigent protests you make when you say you can do this by yourself. Gently laughing while reassuring you that he believes in you and that he’s always there if you happen to need assistance.

Zhongli definitely praises you no matter how well you’ve practiced

Zhongli knows how stupidly stubborn you can be. Well he knows he can be too

He watched you struggle to do this one trick that you just couldn’t seem to get down. And you refused to leave only leaving when your body couldn’t physically take it anymore.

He offers advice and reassures you when he carries you because you were so tired that day.

Zhongli absolutely adores when you rely on him, use his shoulder as a pillow, relax in his hold when he carries you, even when you ask him to grab something for you. He loves to be your support pillar because he knows just as well you’ll be right there for him too.

Listening to Zhongli’s words will never get old to you. His soothing, calm, riveting voice that echos through the the room, bouncing off the walls as you lay on his chest. Listening to his rhythmic heartbeat and feeling the slow rise of his chest as you speak. This goes the same for him, as long as you can speak he’ll never not want to hear your voice. He says it sounds soothing to him. The waves of your voice never ceases to make him relax knowing that you are right beside him, living amongst Liyue with him.

Your first couple of dates were very awkward. As you didn’t know how to speak to Zhongli nor did you want to as he, in your eyes was still a stranger to some extent, yet you still didn’t want to turn down his date offer. Well how could you say no? Zhongli is handsome and knowledgeable, sure he can be forgetful but you liked him well enough despite his mysterious knowledge. Zhongli on the other hand rambled a lot, not knowing how to properly converse with you; he simply continued to talk about the little things he saw throughout the day.

It started out as little quips of input as response to him. Even so, Zhongli never budged, instead patiently waiting for you to open up to him more. And it worked. Just talking to him know is enough to set you on a ramble rivaling his.

As much as he is an amazing lover, things can get out of hand all because he loves your thighs more than anything.

They’re always bruised and littered with markings after some more steamy nights. He thinks his bite marks are pretty, they glow slightly orange yellow and look delightful on your thighs. You think it’s some master plan of his to get you to stay with him all throughout the day because god it is so hard to get up with bruised thighs.

You guys are both so fucking stubborn. You aren’t afraid to speak your mind but will never actually discuss with him because you don’t want to be proven wrong. Zhongli wants to cherish his time with you, that’s why he sweeps all of the problems under a rug. It is heavily implied though that he thinks that he is right.

When arguments happen you tend to close yourself off yet yearn for him. While Zhongli pretends it never happens, trying to normally go through the day with a very closed off you.

This goes on and on until you forget the problem because you just miss him too much. You really shouldn’t by the way, eventually he same topic will come up and the cycle will repeat. Just talk with him, don’t be afraid to let your guard down.

It hurts knowing that you’ll be gone one day, but the only thing he could do is simply enjoy every waking moment with you. He makes a personal contract with himself as to never forget you. Every part of you shall be remembered; from your smile to your laugh, even to your tears. He will never let himself remove your memory.

He will be always be by your side. Even if you shut down he’s right there, quietly questioning if you want anything.

Your aesthetics match so well together. He loves the scholar side of you, and he admires you for keeping your place organized.

You guys are so patient with each other actually. It’s kind of difficult to get into fights because both of you are very understanding for the most part

Zhongli will ensure maximum sleep. Always has the right amount of remedies for your perfect sleep. Sure he can get a bit concerned if he shakes you and you still don’t rouse, but it’s much better than you getting bad sleep. The moment you feel restless he’s already getting up to make soothing tea as well as offering a relaxing song fr him to hum as your lay against his chest. He has the best humming voice to sleep to. You will actually have the best sleep of your life.

He enjoys your laugh so much. Actually there’s a mutual feeling of enjoying each other’s voices. You like his deep, soothing, silky voice while he enjoys the melodies of how your voice shines through in his memories.

If he notices other people staring at your body he will absolutely give you his coat. He can’t help it, hall he wants is to keep you to himself and not let you be eye candy for anyone else.

“Dear.” Looking up from your drawing to see your partner standing next to you with a contemplative stare at your body.

He quickly averts his gaze away from your body avoiding eye contact with you, “I’ve noticed that you’ve been really.. sore lately,” looking back at your curious gaze he runs a hand down your back softly, “I was hoping to make you feel better if I massage you.”

Your eyes lit up, “Really? You’d do that for me?”

“Of course my flower, you er- have complained that it was of my own doing to make you this prone.”

As much as you love him, you just can’t let go of the fact that due to him you had to take almost two weeks off of any athleticism. A small smile settled on your face. “Weelll if you’re as good as massages as you are at rambling on and on I’ll be back to my regular activities in no time.” Your voice cheerful with a light tease.

Zhongli looks very slightly guilty, diverting his eyes as he coughs into his hand, face pink with embarrassment. “I- I am sorry for my actions, but please understand you are just.. very tempting my dear lily.” His eyes momentarily crossed to your exposed thighs full of light purple bruises.

He did not look the least amount of embarrassed or ashamed. He couldn’t help but the small twitch of his corner lip as he remembered just how pretty you were under him, looking so ethereal in his mind.

He knows you’d look even more heavenly with oil running down your skin, back exposed to him as he rubs all the knots away from your skin. He quickly averts his thoughts as fast they come. He couldn’t afford to get ahead of himself. Clearing his throat, his smooth rumbling voice reverberating in your body, “So? About that massage my love?”

I just finished Inazuma and I have words

TL;DR: Hate the story, mixed on characters, love the design and tired of being treated like a 4-year-old with a learning disability.

SPOILERS UNDER THE CUT

Let’s start with what I like.

Inazuma is absolutely beautiful. I’ll admit Inazuma hits a lot of aesthetic points for me. All the islands are different enough to feel unique but they still look like they are a part of the same land. There are a lot of secrets to discover through just exploring. Each island has a world quest to help it (make it less hostile towards you) so it very much feels like you are saving Inazuma from itself.

The puzzles are alright.

I like the cubes that rotate, I always put in the effort to figure them out properly.

Hate the ones that don’t rotate, they just aren’t engaging enough for me, so I just hit them at random and hope for the best.

The glowing floor tiles were fun, once you actually realized what they wanted you to do. A little bit too easy if I’m honest.

The electro compass isn’t really much of a puzzle, more of a fetch the nearest electrograna quest.

Those little pillars that require an electro connection are kinda boring to me, again not much of a puzzle, the hardest part is finding both pillars.

I love the new electro seelie, kinda hard to follow the jittery thing in certain parts but they make a nice contrast to the regular seelies.

I’m very much mixed on characters.

Yoimiya is adorable. She is so bright and bubbly. What little game play we had with her was fun and I love her over the top style of fighting. Kinda disappointed she’s another pyro archer but I do admit it fits her character well. It was also wonderful seeing her just settle down and be quiet, just be a part of that moment that obviously meant a lot to her. It’s always nice to see that bubbly, energetic character have that one quiet thing, ya know. Kinda funny it’s fireworks, of all things, for her.

Gorou I like, from what little we’ve seen of him. My man killed a dude with his thighs so I’m down. I do find it kinda ridiculous that a resistance general has his whole damn belly exposed. There is also something about his voice that just does not fit. I cannot for the life of me put my finger on what exactly it is. Could be the tone itself, could be just voice acting. It sort of feels like the VA is trying to sound deeper than he actually does.

Sangonomiya Kokomi, mixed. I like her design, she looks like some sort of mystical priestess. Again something about the voice is jarring. I expected her to sound sort of airy, like she isn’t 100% present, like she’s seeing something we can’t. TBH she reminds me of Luna from HP for some reason. 

Yae Miko, I was interested because of her design. She sounds very arrogant and up her own ass, which would have been fine...if she hadn’t given us that god-awful line. “...I have high hopes for you, child. Don’t disappoint me.” Dear lord I wanted to punt her off the mountain. Or fucking what! Also she’s some bigshot priestess of the Sacred Sakura and yet she can’t do her damn job properly. Why couldn’t her arrogant ass come down from her high perch and cleanse the stupid roots? Why did the traveler have to do that shit?

Baal looks dead inside. Booba sword is overrated, get a life. I want a remach! And no cutscene shenanigans this time!

Kujou Sara seems like one of those ‘honor above all else’ characters. Those are either hit or miss with me. You have my attention for now. Also what are those shoes woman?! I’d rather you wear those leg-killing, needle point stilettoes instead of those Wish gag shoes. How in the name of all that is holy can you run in those?!

Thoma, I like him. At first I thought we were gonna get another Childe incident, but Thoma is too much of a innocent puppy to pull anything that horrible. To me he fits a fox a lot better than Childe does. Childe is a dingo and I stand behind that.

Kamisato Ayaka...hate her. At first I was neutral on her. Nothing about her design really spoke to me, but I was willing to wait and see. But then miHoYo started to violently push her friendship at us. We are totally friends now, this is the first time you see my face, but we are so totally friends now. And during her story quest everyone was like “Ah, you are so good Ayaka. You are so nice Ayaka. You are so perfect Ayaka. We all love you so much Ayaka. And oh, how could a mere merchant like myself...” Ew, go away. This is the first time I’m actively not pulling on a character banner. Normally I pull even if I’m not particularly interested in a character, because you never know how good their gameplay is until you take them out in the map. But I think I’ll be skipping this one. No thanks.

And now, the worst part, the story.

We’ve been hearing about the situation in Inazuma for a long time. There has been also a lot of talk about how hard it is to get there. About the wall of thunderclouds that surround the islands. So to have it cut to black and then voila Inazuma, feel just so cheap.

I was expecting something. An animation. A struggle. A quest. A minigame. At least show us the horrible weather! Something! Anything!

Hell if they wanted to be assholes about it they could have made it so that if the player fails at this point the ship is damaged, you return to Liyue and have to wait until tomorrow for the ship to be repaired. No Inazuma for today. That sure as hell would have raised the stakes.

The next complaint I have is with Yurika, the 2 milion mora processing fee girl. Later on Thoma mentions that the agency people see the fees as easy money, so her attitude doesn’t make much sense. After all someone like her would want to extract as much money as she can, but you still want the people to be able to pay that.

So it would make more sense to me if she was overly friendly and asked way too many questions. She’d need to get a much information as she can and after all the previous hostility people would be very open with her. So she’d be able to quickly find out why someone is here, what they are selling and roughly how much money they’d be able to pay. A merchant selling expensive silk would have more many than a regular ore merchant. So she’d be able to extract as much money as she could.

“I know this is a lot of money, especially for something so simple, but there is nothing I can do about it. I’m so very sorry.” And people wouldn’t say anything bad to her because she’s the first friendly face they see in Inazuma.

The stealth mission was just god-awful and I hope we never have to do that nonsense again.

Getting off of Ritou was a bit janky at the end, Chisato should have had a better reason for coming along. But I’m honestly just glad we didn’t get out the usual way...getting stuffed in a crate and smuggled out.

As a side note, I’m getting really tired of characters overexplaining things to me, especially Paimon. Dear lord, not everything has to be said, you can leave me to come to my own conclusions and solutions. Just please, who cares if a few player struggle for a bit, you don’t have to hold my hand through the whole thing.

Ayaka’s three were...ugh. It was basic emotional manipulation. Oh no this guy forgot about the love of his life and he’s been waiting for decades. And oh how sad this guy was so good and he helped these people so much but now he can’t remember. And oh the tragedy this guy forgot his life goal and is now hunted by the demons of the past. Oh the humanity! 

And it did not work. Know why? Because I have no emotional investment in any of these people, in this land. What is happening to the vision bearers in Inazuma is tragic, true, but that doesn’t make me want to overthrow the government. I don’t live here. I just got here. I wanna ask a question or two and then move on. None of this concerns me.

I was so happy when the traveler just flat out refused to start a revolution. And then we had to go and meet some people and immediately I knew this was going to be some oh noes the tragedy moments and then we would agree to help them.

It’s so forced.

Wanna know what would have been better?

Just as we are leaving the Kamisato estate Thoma catches up with us. And he tells us he gets it. We are an outsider and this doesn’t concern us. He was hopeful but he expected the denial. We shouldn’t hold it against Ayaka.

He joins us as a guide because he knows of the people we have to meet.

And so as we help these three we also get to know Thoma. We find out he was an outsider too. He got in just before the worst of it started and then he was stuck in Inazuma. He lost someone to the Vision Hunt. They slowly lost their mind after loosing their vision, their ambition too closely tied to their personality to continue without it (what is happening to Domon hits a little too close to home and he has to walk away, this is where we hear the story of the one he lost). And the same would have happened to him if the Kamisatos hadn't taken him in. He owes them his vision, his sanity and his life.

So this rebellion is personal for him.

At the end of the three wishes the atmosphere is somber. We tell him we understand why Ayaka fights, why he fights. We know that this is all wrong, that it should be stopped...but not by us. We came here to get a lead on our brother. And rebellion isn’t an overnight affaire and we can’t loose so much time in Inazuma.

And yeah, he expected as much. He just asks that we let Ayaka down gently. It’d be a shame if someone as idealistic and hopeful as her lost their spark.

And so we are gentle but firm with Ayaka. She looks like she wants to argue with us but Thoma shakes his head at her. So she sighs and tells us that a promise is a promise. We should come to the Komore Teahouse in a few days and she’ll have a plan for us to meet with the Shogun.

Now we can still have a character story quest with Yoimiya and we can still somehow get involved with helping Master Masakatsu, but it’s through Yoimiya instead of Ayaka.

And instead of a character story quest with Ayaka we have one with Thoma. Hell, give him a whole damn hangout event even.

You can probably guess why I’m pushing the friendship with Thoma so much.

Because. He. Gets. Kidnapped. For. The. 100th. Vision. Ceremony. 

And that would have been the perfect emotional in to get us involved in the rebellion. After all we just saw what happens to people who have their visions taken away and we are not letting that happen to Thoma, someone we just got close to.

So Baal makes it personal for us as well.

I have a few more minor complaints.

Aoi is stupid for asking for compensation after she tells us everything we needed to know because, ya know, we could have just walked away. We should have.

The whole stupid misunderstanding about the value Kurosawa’s sword holds. Kinda obvious he meant emotional value instead of monetary.

The suspicious amount of visionless NPCs and by that I mean this is the first time we have NPCs with vision. This wouldn’t have been a problem if we’ve seen NPCs with visions in Mond and Liyue.

The whole rebellion camp bit feels incredibly rushed. We just sort of lollygag over there and then there is a fight (against Sara and her stupid shoes).

Don’t make us fight Baal just to force us to lose. It would have been better if we were forced to retreat, because Thoma was injured, because there are too many soldiers for us to handle on our own. Hell, you can have a funny scene where we straight up jump off a cliff with Thoma clinging onto us and screaming bloody murder until he realizes we are slowly gliding away and he’s not about to plummet to his death.

The Sakura cleansing quest should have been voice acted.

The Mirror Maiden and Pyro Agent are totally on a date, I will not be told otherwise.

Actually is the person who keeps the whole party safe, has pulled Xingqiu away from ledges while he's reading more times than he can count, makes sure everyone has food at all times, and keeps the schedule in line

Has a flask of Death After Noon that he keeps on him, has to actively keep it away from Xingqiu because the kid's curious

He is so tired he is the reason the party only gets up to leave at like noon because he sleeps in

Thinks he's good enough at hiding his anxiety that no one else has noticed

He is not, they've all noticed him shaking visibly at high speeds in 90-degree weather and the kids will do their best to avoid fraying his nerves on a bad day

Very kind to Xingqiu and Ayaka, kinda like a cool uncle? Buys them things even though they can afford it

Kinda lets the kids do what they want and chat while he keeps them safe and the whole party on their way

Bummed that he's the only person in the party without a bird as his constellation tbh, but he's alright with it because he's got books!!

Routinely plays pranks on Diluc and occasionally manages to pull a deez joke on Kaeya, leaves Ayaka alone with the pranks though because he knows she's new to all of this

Oh this poor girl, Lumine just dropped her off with Mondstadt's most dysfunctional siblings and a kid who reads at the speed of light and said have fun

Really gets along well with Xingqiu!! Having someone with a somewhat similar background is definitely a relief, especially because Kaeya and Diluc intimidate her, what with them arguing most of the time they interact

She recognizes the anxiety in Kaeya (because she also has it) so she's a little more comfortable approaching him because of that

She's happy to talk about Inazuma's ruins and is fascinated by Kaeya bringing up similar ruins in Mondstadt and Liyue

She really appreciates him remembering what she's interested in and making time in the day for it!

Diluc on the other hand?? She has... some idea how to talk to him? But?? He is either aggressive or glaring off into the distance at all times, and she's been around long enough to know that he doesn't mean to be like that but it's still unnerving to her

However, she Can talk to him! She is still a little confused because he constantly sounds so grumpy, but she's realized that he's actually really good at listening, and is absolutely willing to talk about Mondstadt traditions! Because she does really like to learn about other nations

Plus, she can go to Xingqiu to answer most of her questions!

"Xingqiu, I- I hope this isn't an odd question, but ah... how exactly do you get used to Kaeya and Diluc? I don't think I've quite figured it out yet..?"

"So in Liyue... the Merchant stalls are on the docks? Like Ritou but it's all on the docks? Interesting..."

"You're the second born of the Feyun Commerce Guild? Oh! Forgive me, I thought you were the eldest, my brother handles most international relations..."

It was really hard for her to adjust to the team, just because of how ragtag it is most of the time, but she's got it by now!

She actually kind of likes the scrappy chaos! She hasn't completely gotten used to it all but she finds it like kind of a break from having to uphold her image at all times

Genshin Impact Chapter 1 Act 3: A Reaction.

Chapter 1 Act 3 is what took my experience with this game from “good game” to “masterpiece”.

THIS POST CONTAINS MANY, MANY SPOILERS FOR GENSHIN IMPACT CHAPTER 1: ACT 3

Genshin Impact has some problems— actually, it has a shit ton of problems. But during the fight against hordes of Fatui, with the Adepti channeling their abilities through my gang, flying through them as Oz, decimating them with Diluc— I just thought, this is the best time I’ve had in a mobile game in my life.

This game might not be perfect now— it’s only a quarter of the way done if we’re counting Karenri’ah. But it will be a fucking masterpiece once it’s all out. If this is the level of quality we’re getting for our archon quests, this game is going to be an amazing time on story alone.

KEQING

I love Keqing with all my heart. If she were alive today she would be a socialist here to topple the ruling 1%. When ningguang asked Aether who they trusted more, her or Keqing, I hit the Keqing button as fast as possible.

I think one of my favorite things about Keqing is that she’s so completely honest, which is unusual for a Liyue politician. If she doesn’t like something, she’ll speak out against it. If she thinks something else should be happening, she’ll make it happen. She can probably be deceitful at times, but in general she’s straightforwards in that she wants a government for the people and by the people.

I can’t wait for her story quest!

NINGGUANG

pretty.... voice pretty....

Ningguang is cool. Her JP voice is very pretty, like she could do ASMR videos online or smth. One thing I decidedly did not like about Ningguang is how her personality just ???? flips? In the middle of the quest, for no reason other than “because plot”.

It’s established that Ningguang cares about two things more than anything— the Jade palace and Mora. Why, then, would she destroy the Jade palace for the sake of Liyue? I get that she’s a good person at heart at all, but I want to see more of her indecision, her brain saying “mora” and her heart saying “Liyue”. The way she just flips on a dime isn’t really strange but it does contradict with her preexisting characterization.

Childe’s Boss Fight!

The section of this quest from Childe’s fight to the Adepti + Qixing battle is just nonstop adrenaline.

Childe is IMO a lot more fun than Dvalin (sorry Dvalin). I’m at WL5 and have a tendency to play fast and loose with important mechanics like.... dodging, for example.... and Childe’s Mask Electro form ended up destroying my team. I killed him with Guoba because everyone else besides Xiangling was dead. I

Another thing I really enjoy about Childe’s boss fight is that in the irrationalities of Childe as a character, it actually makes sense. Genshin is decent at making weekly bosses logical excursions— Andrius wants you to get stronger, Dvalin’s weekly fight is ~~all a dream~~; but tbh sometimes the weekly bosses don’t make sense. Andrius wants to train us, not murder us! How does dvalin, a dream slash memory that doesn’t exist, manage to knock someone out?

Childe as a weekly boss actually makes perfect sense. He’s an adrenaline junkie addicted to the thrill of fighting people— to put this in modern AU terms, he’s the guy who’s first in line to ride the rollercoaster that failed all of its health and safety checks. Childe wants to befriend the Traveler entirely because they’re stronger than him, so that he can fight them over and over again until he’s the strongest. Of course, this will never happen, because the Traveler is the MC and therefore is stronger than all others. However, in this way Childe being a repeatable boss makes 100% perfect sense— he actually wants to fight the Traveler again and again and again.

The one question I have about Childe is how in the living feck are the Fatui letting him join the Traveler and fight for them *against the Fatui*??? I think this might be touched on in Childe’s Story quest, which I’ll do in a bit, but like????? They let him keep his delusion and just walk over to Aether like “aight fam I’m on your team now”? How?

Jade Chamber/ Guizhong Ballista vs Sea Monster Fight!!

Basically, all my charged adrenaline from nearly dying to Childe just came to a head in this one huge fantastic fight.

And Xiao :)

I absolutely loved seeing the Adepti and the Qixing work together. This fight was probably my favorite fight in the whole game— the music was amazing (soundtrack where), the graphics were so nice, the adepti were so feckin cool, using everyone’s abilities was n I ce. My adrenaline was reaching its highest point at this fight and it was just perfect. It was just so fecking fun after days of WL5 pain, having to pop like five ultimates to kill one hillichurl, to be able to just demolish swathes of enemies with Fischl and Diluc, run around like a madman thanks to Xiao, have infinite health idr who did that for me but bless them, just absolutely destroy.

Ever since I hit WL5 I haven’t been able to really just go insane during a fight and stop caring about HP/ when to use skills/ dodging and this have me that opportunity.

Zhongli’s Deal

*punches Zhongli across the room with the power of being the player character* I love this man so much.

Zhongli Zhongli Zhongli Zhongli Zhongli. I AM VERY ANGRY AT HOW THE PLOT RESOLVED HIS STORYLINE. But it also makes a lot of sense. And I think, for once, Zhongli should be allowed to be selfish.

Because choosing to leave Liyue was a bit selfish. He’s leaving the country that adores him, loves him, gives him shit for free; to its own devices and then to a completely unknown fate once the new Geo Archon becomes god and takes over. But he made a frankly fantastic plan and can now leave the country, for now, in peace.

I was absolutely delighted to see Zhongli in Morax form. Making deals with La Signora, being a complete and utter puppet master who set this entire situation up and played Childe like a kazoo; but just like his dear friend Venti, I think Zhongli is happier when he’s just Zhongli, the eccentric mortal. He seems so much happier and so much more relaxed when he’s forgetting about mora and eating dinner with Aether and Paimon. Rex Lapis might have just put Liyue through the wringer, but he can now put down his 3000- year long reign and just be the happy, eccentric Zhongli.

Zhongli’s little bit of insecurity over being a “bourgeois parasite” makes perfect sense now— he doesn’t want to be seen as Morax, a superfluous god who’s using his name to get whatever he wants from the humans he watches over.

But also the part of my brain that feeds off lore nEEDS to KNOW what Zhongli got from Tsaritsa. What could be worth a gnosis? His own happiness isn’t enough— Tsaritsa is likely going to use his gnosis to try and destroy Liyue. What could be worth that?

My main thought would be either “someone’s protection” or “another gnosis”, but I don’t think the latter is possible. The former could be possible but doesn’t really make sense either— a) whose protection is worth putting an entire country, much less the world, in danger and b) the Fatui are out to kill everyone who isn’t Fatui, so they won’t agree to spare a major player in the war to come like that. Brain go brrr.

I’m very hyped for Zhongli’s story quest, which I think is coming with his banner on Dec 1, when Childe’s banner ends. I really hope that Zhongli visits Mondstadt and chills with Venti for a while, but anything with this guy would be fine lol.

LORE

We got a lot of lore this update and I am delighted by it.

Firstly, we get a tiny hint of how Visions are bestowed— “if a person shows true strength of will at a desperate and fateful moment in their life, the gods will look upon them with favor.” Vague but more than we had before.

Next we got some neat lore about Inazuma— firstly, that it’s led by a god named Baal and secondly that it steals everyone’s visions. I’m very hyped to visit because guess what fam aether doesn’t have a vision.

Final Thoughts

In case you can’t tell from my insane ramblings, I loved Chapter 1 Act 3 and I absolutely cannot wait to play through Childe’s story quest and Chapter 2 and beyond.

The Prologue in Mondstadt set the stage for Genshin. We started out in a fantasy environment with a fantasy tale of an immortal bard and a dragon. Mondstadt was an excellent introduction to the world of Genshin.

And now? We’re starting to build on that. Chapter 1 brings us another story of another god and their relationship with the country they watch over. Liyue is much less of a traditional fantasy setting and takes the darkness we saw in Mondstadt— a friendship ruined by manipulation and suffering— and build on it. Now we don’t just see the Fatui more often but we also see more of the Treasure Hoarders and the way both groups kidnap and experiment on humans.

Mond started to introduce us to the Fatui, but Liyue is where they really start bringing continuous plot relevance. Inversely, we saw much more of the Abyss Order in Mondstadt than we did in Liyue. I’m extremely disappointed we didn’t see any more of the Princess this chapter, but it makes sense given that Chapter 1 was really more about the Fatui than the Abyss Order.

All I’m trying to say is the Liyue arc was an excellent continuation to the stage Mondstadt’s arc set. Now, we’re on to the world of the Eternal Shogun, Baal! I’m really excited to meet new characters and experience new stories of Inazuma, but I hope we’ll continue to see Mondstadt and Liyue in the future. Mondstadt is likely going to be the most “boring” of the countries we experience, cuz it’s just so classically fantasy- themed, but it will always be the first country we explored in this world.

After Inazuma (if I had to take a shot in the dark, inazuma’s arc will take from December 23 to maybe March or April) we’ll go to Sumeru, which I am really extremely hyped for because it sounds extremely different from Mond and Liyue and we’ll meet Cyno and possibly even Collei! (just me extrapolating lol). I can’t wait to see where Genshin Impact goes story- wise, because its first major update has brought so much to the table.

(4/5) probably won't pull anymore to save for childe. since c2 sucrose is good and i have razor now. i enjoyed his playstyle. it definitely took a bit to get used to but i think by the end of his story quest i had it. aww i love bow users! haha. i love using polearms and bows the most. i walk around the world with xiao, hu tao, venti, and diona lol. yeah i can't wait to see that boss then!! more story!!! did you do the hangouts yet? i unlocked barbara and noelle but i haven't done them yet.

and i am starting to get used to him!! actually between him, xingqiu, and chongyun i’m getting elemental reactions for days so it almost makes xiao the pointless member on my team now since he’s a pretty selfish character lmaoo once he gets to friendship level 10 i might swap him out again for a more support character like fischl and make bennet the main dps.

i’m really really liking the windblume festival!!! maybe it’s not as like. pretty as liyue but the events are definitely WAY more fun ones that’s for sure. like even if i don’t get extra rewards some of them are just fun to play which is an indicator of like. a good minigame lmaooo. like the lyre/music one i really really want those perfect scores ajfskdl

i definitely like polearms and claymores the best! and as suggested earlier i walk around with whoever i’m trying to build friendship levels with while still having a balanced team so right now its xiao, bennet, xinqiu, and chongyun!! chongyun there bc the xinqiu/chongyun besties pair >>>>>>>>>>> for elemental reactions AND character stories lmao. i actually played chongyun’s hangout walking around as xinqiu which was funnier when chongyun mentioned xinqiu lmaoo.

i’ve done chongyun’s and barbara’s, i’m probably gonna do bennet’s next!! i like the hangouts, they do get a little tedious with the multiple endings but that’s the nature of these kinds of storyline-based games and i’m at least glad they give you the option to skip to certain parts of the story instead of restarting from the beginning (that would truly suck lmao). and at least you get rewards for each one.

Tbh I always imagined them in game like. just trying to vibe near a village - maybe Qingce village??

Despite their efforts to lie low though, they both are very... attention grabbing kinds of people. The villagers think they're kind of strange and eventually one of the villagers approaches Traveler about confronting the two - they don't want trouble in their lil village bro :<

So Traveler and Paimon get a fun quest to go find them, mayhaps with some encounters with treasure hoarders since they're also close by Qingce? Either way, Traveler figures out the fact they're both gods but the Traveler is also a relaxed person so they just agree to not tell the Qingce villagers in exchange for the two listening to the concerns the villagers have about them.

From then on the Traveler could talk to them for ore locations and fun Inazuma lore!

[What is their relationship with Zhongli? Do they have one at all?]

The three have a... professional relationship? That's the best way to describe it. Tbh I imagine archons and adepti can tell when gods are near and vice versa so he was Aware when they showed up in Liyue Harbour. Tbh Akimitsu probably sought him out and the two made a contract where Zhongli can't tell Baal about how the two are hanging around his place

Akimitsu tries to look at things from a logical point of view, even himself. It helps a lot with planning but for things like emotions... not so much. He can end up annoyed at himself a lot for feeling things for "no reason", and that shit has been happening more frequently after the whole "running away from your home country" situation

Kohaku is a lot more forgiving for himself and his emotions though! He's Aware that he's a pretty emotionally driven person and that even people like Akimitsu can end up controlled by their heart rather than brain, regardless of what they try to say about it. He can just end up expecting himself to be too emotional to do things and underestimating himself in the process. Kohaku is used to being more like the person who lightens the mood and keeping the planners from getting ahead of himself. Hes ended up just having a low opinion of himself outside of that.

[Who is their love interest? If they do not have one, who is their closest friend?]

Each other for both. Baal was also a very close friend of theirs before they left, and maybe also a love interest too depending on what the Inazuma chapter shows us

I feel like they've encountered so many Knights doing their patrol stuff in the wilderness around Mondstadt that they're used to seeing them.

For Akimitsu it feels like seeing a coworker you don't know very well in public. For Kohaku its the same but he's more willing to stop for conversation-

Kohaku is more used to wine!! People tend to use drinks like wine for spiritual/religious events so by now he's pretty used to drinking things like wine so he doesn't end up offending someone. You give him a wine, he'll tell you how old it is and what ingredients they used

Ok so. I haven't thought their vision stories out as much as Seirs but!! I do know that Kohaku got his vision from the past electro archon and was able to ascend to godhood but not archon status afterwards

Akimitsu is good at predicting other peoples moves but he's really bad at understanding his own underlying emotional motivations and weaknesses. He doesn't plan for them

Kohaku's is his own doubts and opinions on himself. Self sabotage basically

Akimitsu appreciates sunny days with clouds. He says its because its good traveling weather but its mostly really because he likes to see the sights and thats easier to do when its nice out

Kohaku likes a light rain in the warm weather... its very soothing to just take in the rain and light enough to where he doesn't have to worry about what they have out getting ruined. Theyre just relaxing...

Akimitsu can plan like No One Else!! He's just really good at guessing peoples next steps to things

Kohaku is a very empathetic and sympathetic guy so he can make connections with people easily!

Tbh, I don't think there is an element which I use significantly more than another. Maybe Pyro units since Mihoyo literally shoves them down our throats ASDFGHJK but otherwise I am kinda balanced in terms of raising characters🤔 I would love to have more hydro units though!

elemental burst: which character has your favorite vision achievement story?

Given the fact that I sadly don't know every single vision achievement story since I only read them for the characters I reached the friendship level, this answer will probably change as I get to know more of these stories. But from the ones I know it's probably Kaeya's even though it's really sad under which circumstances he got it. But it makes me also wonder with which criteria the Tsaritsa is giving out visions... I also like Thoma's because it shows what a loyal and good boy he is but I may be biased here haha AND I want to know Childe's vision story since we never got it (only the delusion story).

dainslef: what theory do you have about the lore and the archon’s involvement with the destruction of khaenri'ah

My take on this is probably what most people think asdfgh but here we go. I think celestia wants to have control over the whole world of Teyvat by having each region ruled by an Achron, who ultimately is also only a puppet of celestia. Khaenri'ah being a nation without a god and a very advanced one technologically imposed a threat to celestia by showing that human society can also thrive without being ruled and overseen by an Archon. Of fear that other nations might follow the example of Khaenri'ah and start abandoning their gods, celestia attacked the nation to demonstrate the power of the gods and show the nation of Teyvat that a nation without a god is not able to defend itself, scaring all other nations in the process as well. The archons, having no other choice but to follow the orders of celestia, thus had to destory Khaenri'ah even if they did not want to. Zhongli's response when we asked him what happened was pretty vague which leads to believe that the Archons were not allowed to talk about it again. It was celestia's way to keep the ultimate rulership over all of Teyvat. From what we heard/seen and from what is mentioned/hinted Venti does not seem to like celestia so I think he gave up his Gnosis voluntarily since he did not even try to fight Signora, Zhongli did it voluntarily (well it was part of a contract lol but he had no problem giving it away) as well since he was worn out of being an Archon and wanted the people of Liyue to stand on their own feet without depending on a god and Ei did not care about her Gnosis all that much ever since the cataclysm so all of them ultimately wanted to sever their ties with celestia. And I think that may also be the Tsaritsa's ultimate plan. I went a little off topic there in the end but asdfgh yeah that's my theory :D

genshin anon! lol idk i have fun with xinyan. if you have the sacrificial greatsword for her it helps. that's what i usually keep on her. the violets though are annoying to get.. ooo yeah i can see having the original voices on being good. maybe one day ill do that. i feel like im just so used to the english ones that it would confuse me a bit lol. i should try it sometime though! yeah i'd definitely give bennett a try! i like him, but for some reason he just never fits in so i dont use him much

(4/5) yeah the theater thing was kind of boring. i played it enough to be able to buy the character and maybe a little bit more the last day. it was just so SLOW which made it so boring. but yeah the new minigames are looking cool and i hope they're fun! yeah i would love the jade spear for xiao. i've tried several times for staff of homa for hu tao. the only 4 stars i get apparently are the catalysts :/ id at least like the lithic spear since i use a lot of liyue people usually.

(5/5) yeah i was watching a video and ascending the last time is useful but actually leveling up to 90 for the most part isn't. it's only good to lvl to 90 if the person relies on hp or def since attack doesn't change much in those 10 levels. yeah artifacts can really help out a lot. you have to like choose if you want to do talents or artifacts each day and its kind of annoying :/ and yeah agreed! i did my lvl 45 ascension quest like right away lol. its not been that bad.

ooooo yeah that’s the claymore that speeds up cooldown right?? i have the prototype animus and p much use that on whoever’s my current team’s claymore user lmaooo but i’ll keep that in mind when i get to using xinyan!!! (will have to eventually since i’m more or less using the 10 friendship thing as an excuse to rotate out characters)

omg same for me but with the japanese voices... i’m just so used to them i can’t really get comfortable with anything else lmaoo. like for some characters they sound more or less the same across the 4 languages but for some others they don’t sound alike AT ALL. yeah bc i have jean bennet just never had a place on my current team either LMAO but speaking of friendship i actually also just got jean to 10 friendship (basically everyone from my first main team has reached that point) so i might swap her out w bennet to try him out. 

yeah that’s literally insane and while genshin does have good momentum right now in terms of popularity i don’t know if that will last the next 5 years.... i get that making new regions and stuff is probably a lot of game dev work so it’s easier to just have a lot of events in the same area but godddd i love exploring new areas so much so it’s a little :(((( with how long we have to wait for them.
