anyway basically i think an unauthorized fan treatise could have been better if all the livejournals articles tweets etc werent pasted directly into each chapter in full bc personally i preferred reading everything and clicking through the pages myself piecing together the story as an actual fan reading the blog could have done instead of gottie holding your hand and going through and explaining every fragment of it for you

#i was more interested in the fandom drama so the second half of the story i didnt enjoy as much #and like i understand gottie has to twist the pieces into her own narrative but girl i enjoy clicking around on livejournal sorry #gemitus #like there are times in the blog posts where gottie copy pasted interviews but cut anya's sections bc shes not relevant to the ship #but like i wish when youd clicked on the link to the 'article' anya's parts were still intact rather than only gottie's version being avail #ble to read #also someone mentioned rob's mom's twitter and i was very sad to find the user did not exist #while reading it i thought how it was cool a story was being told this way across multiple websites (which would have been more effective #had the websites not actually having needed to be created if the posts were just going to be pasted into the main blog but whatever)#and that therefore this was a story that couldn't be printed as a book and could only be hosted on the internet. well #like i appreciate that youd be tempted to c+p bc you dont want to write text only people who go out of their way to click the link will read #but that means you simply encourage them To click links by showing that there is Extra content if they decide to engage enough to find it.#lit
