like i couldnt tell u how many books i read this year bc i just read them and enjoy them i dont like. count them out so i can look down on other ppl. skill issue
#like its fine 2 keep track and i even think its fine t like. have a goal for how many you wnana read but like... somebody in the notes of#that poll literally said 'ive read 240 books this year shooting for 365 ^_^' like. im so sorry there is literally no fucking way you can#read a book a fuckjng day and absorb that.#IM JUST LIKE. I DONT GETBTHE POINT OF READING WHEN YOU DONT LIKE. CARE ABT RHE ACTUAL BOOK. OR PAY ATTENTION TO THE AVTUAL BOOK#WHY DO YOU JUST READNFOR NUMBERS YOU PPL R CRAZY you heard that reading is good and that having a hobby like#reading can be very rewarding and instead of thinking Oh reading is a very intimate way to experience astory and it can be very calming to#sit down nd read and truly connect with the text.#and jnstead of being like wow yeah :] you were like Oh i have to skimread 50 books a day this will make.me better than everybody else
