I know we like to joke as a fandom that Izuku breaks his bones all the time but we have to remember that OFA stockpiles power and that All Might took OFA and increased its power exponentially. When All Might first received OFA it was powerful from the previous users and their quirks but he could handle it without too much trouble. He then went on and became the most powerful hero in Japan and arguably in the world and stayed that way for decades. His power is off the charts! Then in comes Izuku a quirkless kid that has to train hard to receive this quirk. He receives it but can barely contain it and we hear from All Might that he didn't have much of an issue with using OFA right off the bat but the power levels are completely different from when they both received it. Izuku receives it after All Might stockpiled decades of power whereas All Might received it with much less. We learned that the previous users all died pretty young and pretty early so they added their quirks and their power to it but they didn't get to go through the decades of growth that All Migjt did. When All Might receives OFA, it's strong but he's the one that makes it even stronger. OFA is and op quirk because All Might made it that way through decades of hard work. Izuku has to then receive this quirk that a full grown man spent decades cultivating after only 10 months of training in a body that probably just recently hit puberty. His body is still growing and changing so of course he's going to have trouble accepting a quirk like OFA. Of course he's going to end up breaking his bones. I think as a fandom we forget that OFA is immensely powerful and yet we laugh when a kid has trouble accepting the power of a fully grown man. Anyone in Izuku's position would have trouble accepting OFA regardless of their work or physical abilities. Any child in his position would have gone through the same trials of figuring out how to control the power output without hurting themselves. So sure it's funny sometimes when we see Izuku early on breaking himself or that we joke that Izuku constantly breaks his bones but we forget that OFA is incredibly powerful and anyone would have the same issues. I'd honestly roll my eyes and call it fake if someone accepted OFA after All Might or after Izuku and didn't have any issues controlling it because it's just not realistic. On top of it being very strong with great power no one controls a quirk the second they get it, that takes a lot of training to figure out regardless of their other abilities. Izuku has had his quirk in canon for a year now and sure he's mastered some of it but he still has a ways to go before he can beat All Might at his prime or surpass him. Anyone would be that way. So anyway sure Izuku drinks the bone hurting juice a lot but so would anyone else in his position.
