1. What was the original thought that led to the creation of this character?

so i like these guys

fire emblem three houses, ever heard of it. anyway i was still hella obsessed w them and thought of maybe playing ffxiv as one of them, but couldnt decide which, so i decided to make a fankid oc. theyd have the combined traits of my otp so itll be just as fun as rping as them!

i was wrong. its so much more fun than i thought

7. What is an aspect of their appearance that you like the most?

THE EYEBROWS

I LOVE HIS PERMANENT >:3 FACE SO MUCH this actually embodies tarts design much better than her fem miqo'te model which is why im extremely attached to catboy tart

also the lip scar! the two halves dont quite line up when hes got a straight face, but when hes smiling they do and oh wow i cant not have that forever. i retconned catgirl tart to have always had that scar too bc i love it sm

14. Do you have any quotes tied to the character, either from the story itself or from another source that fit them?

"how do you see a forest for more than the color green?" is. such a defining line for him. i found it late but man. man....

theres a lot from other sources, and ive probably put many of them in his tag! its a pain to dig through though so a few others:

post-endwalker tart reflects a lot of tohno shiki, and even more in dawntrail. ohh boy. the lines below about arcueid is more about shb-era tart especially with reeq

the lyric "so don't ask, no—just say when" from carly rae's picture. theres an illustration of a pair of snakes captioned "tart like venom" that rly made me feel !!!! and you know im always partial to "6 ft and bottoming, thats the type of greed they talk about in the bible" bc god its so true

finally, a line from fem!tart voiceclaim, absinthe: "Why do I keep my weapon right here? I said it before, you need a stable working environment. Anyone who wants to bother you will have to ask my little friend first."
