Nobody warned me that when you start spinning your own yarn, you just lose all interest in commercial yarn.
#im flying back to canada to visit with my family in a few weeks#the first flight there is 25 hours and then the flight back home to australia is 30 so thats a lot of time to not be knitting#so socks#an excellent travel project#... but i knit too fast#so stockings instead!#but to buy the yarn is like 40$#and its not my handspun ๐ญ#i havent bought commercial yarn in like a year

Done!! He is so pretty ๐ญ๐๐
Side note: pattern was easy but this yarn broskis..... Its handspun hand dyed reclaimed silk that i got in a box years ago and it was so hard to work with, which is why I hadn't used it in the 5 odd years I've had it. But now it's mostly used up, at least, still got like a skein and a third or so left. And it looks so nice on my brown boy.
