/ also i think another reason people tend to not like xaos is uhh... theres no nice way to say this but a lot of writers have very entitled views on rp, their muses, and interactions. That their muses are kinda, OWED understanding and empathy no matter how much morally questionable things they do. And I think Xaos tends to shatter that by outright saying he doesn't owe anyone shit, and say either stop doing evil shit or we fighting

#i mean during the infamous ann incident we had a woman in power abuse her power in ways that would make ryan blush #threatening a normal guy with the entire military is ABSURDLY EVIL #yet we had people say xaos the victim of that power abuse bad for not understanding her view #he doesnt owe anyone shit!#like fully does not owe people tryna kill him any level of understanding #and its kinda comically evil to imply he does owe anyone anything in that situation???#imagine if i said xaos owed ryan and hironobu shit when they abused their powers #that'd be ridiculous right???#but suddenly when its other peoples muses its not the case and ITS BIZARRE #i mean ultimately its an extension of the “not following the script” issue #and i think xaos runs into that issue a lot bc hes this walking contradiction #so literally every possible assumption you could make about him #tends to be wrong
