god i am grateful for the level of critical thinking that exists within the internet circles i have found myself engaged in
#mcr / lynz way intersecting racism / misogyny discourse on my dash except they Arent All Stupid Takes#grateful to b Black in a bandom space that doesnt dismiss me and my experiences the same way they were 10 yrs ago#and grateful to be in a space where i can say with my chest that i can think these adult white liberals (the ways#lindsey. frank. jamia. whoever.#are probably Just As racist as any other white liberal LA adults which is Somewhat but not Violently#i get to be happy that my alt spaces have black ppl now are less racist now i get to love the music and think these dudes are hot#and project my silly little queer ideals onto their art#but that doesnt mean i as a black consumer am assuming they’re anti racists or are Doing The Work#and its just nice to be in an online space w enough braincells to process this
