Honestly, the argument "the gods have not done anything for me, so why shouldn't we let them die" is such a cold take, and would immediately be questioned if it was about anything else than gods.
It is one thing to debate the power structure of a country/world - do we want a monarchy, or democracy, or any other political structure? And it is ANOTHER thing to say - "the king and his family did not do anything for me, so it is fine if they all get brutally murdered." "The ministers are doing their work wrong, so it is fine if they all get eaten." "That one tax collector is corrupt, so it is fine if all tax collectors get destroyed."
Someone not having done something for you does NOT mean that murdering them is fine actually.

I wonder how the fae of the Spring Court are dealing with everything in Effloresce. Their High Lord took a very abrupt swan dive into insanity at his failed wedding. His second, who everyone seemed to like, physically intercepted their High Lord in the middle of slaughtering the wedding guests. No one has seen him since but hey the Wall is broken now, I guess. Alis and the sentries must be having a time.
The Effloresce timeline is NOT a fun one for the Spring Court.
Tamlin is having his canon, betraying of all ideals, half descent into madness, half horrifying ruthless drive alliance with Hybern.
But what's really, really pushed him over the edge?
He thinks he murdered Lucien.
He failed to protect Feyre from the dreaded Night Court. Failed his Court under Amarantha. Killed her and still, couldn't keep everyone safe, not even from himself. It is HIS FAULT Lucien is dead- loyal, kind Lucien, who was trying to stop Tamlin from losing control. Lucien, who died so ugly it was some kind of magical implosion, run up against the Wall.
(Effloresce Tam has been...weaving in and out of sanity for a while. Matebond denial probably would held strong if, you know, the person on the other end WASN'T Amarantha. But the fact of the matter is, it's all caving in. He wasn't strong enough, he thinks.)
Spring, without a competent High Lord OR their long held, trustworthy second in command, is having a bad, bad, bad time.
Their old enemies who slaughtered the last Lady of Spring and her children have taken their lady before she could even be theirs. Their even older, worse, implacable enemy is on their shores. Their High Lord's mourning has taken a deranged, destructive turn, enough so that their meadows are thorn and their air is choked in pollen.
I like to think Alis took one look at this ever worsening situation and fully fucked off to Summer.
The sentries are pretty divided- killing Lucien is probably one of the only things Tamlin could have done to really fuck up their loyalty. They don't want Hybern as allies. They're mourning a whole bright future they thought was coming for about half a second and trying to keep people alive, out of Hybern's way.
The wards are fucked, and of course they are. Tamlin's off the rails. Lucien was probably the one reenforcing them. The Wall is strong as ever, repelling even fae creatures used to ranging all the way to sea- nothing is getting through, and why would it? The humans must know war is coming, too. Lucien Vanserra died on the Wall, who knows what horror spilt Vanserra blood might achieve.
And all that's before Hybern really swarms in to get to the Wall.

Ah fuck it whatever
There's something I love about the new Consequences AU and how it compares to the AUs and music it's come from.
Where things like Roxy's old kingdom being destroyed and her being almost drowned as a baby are metaphorical, there's a lot of things that strangely aren't. Roxy specifically denying the gods and the powers that be is something she does in most of my interpretations of her. The gods in most situations, isn't a spooky green rabbit, it's the people in the Fazbear boardroom making the world's worst decisions ever. To the animatronics, they are the gods. There's no higher authority than them, and they can have them destroyed without ever having met them, at just a moment's notice, for seemingly no reason.
Bonnie once believing in the gods and turning against them works like it does for most of the animatronics too. Even just questioning Fazbear isn't something many of them have been able to do, but all of them will eventually learn to. The more they learn through Roxy, despite what they might have known before, the more they realise what kind of company they've been forced to be a part of.
And Roxy's attitude towards these gods is always the same. She won't pretend to be nice to people she knows don't care about her. She won't put any extra effort into maintaining social etiquette if there's no point, if there's nothing for her to gain from it. Fazbear CEOs and board members have hurt her so much already, she doesn't give a flying shit about them, she's not wasting her time on them unless she absolutely has to. In this universe, the same can be said about the gods. She doesn't care for them and they don't care about her, so why bother? They've told like six people to assassinate her already, why would she choose to listen to them?
Roxy's relationship with the Minis and DJ? That's the same as it is across the board with most of the AUs I have. The attempt on Roxy's life when she's barely been born is shown differently in the new AU, but is still the same concept. Some things have been shifted around, such as the specific motivations, but not by a lot. I suppose Bonnie's dad in this fills the roll of Vanessa if Vanessa was also actually Mimic? He doesn't have an exact match here in terms of scale, but the comparisons are there.
The whole kingdom being destroyed, Roxy finding out that that's where she originally came from, that she was the newborn prince with a wholeass family she's never known, all lines up so well with everything else too. The pizzeria, scrapped storage, the old attractions there before her racetrack, it's all gone and she knew nothing about it. She's once again found out the truth in possibly the worst way imagineable, and she doesn't know what to do with this information, but honestly, who would?
The biggest difference there is that in this new AU, Roxy has the choice of what to do. In what's basically canon to the game, Roxy doesn't have that choice and likely never will. Where she's had to sacrifice her Raceway and Salon, sacrifice the vast majority of her life and her purpose for the safety of everyone around her, in this universe, she can choose not to. She sacrifices certainty this time, something she can regain as time goes on but in any other universe, there is never any certainty to get back. There will always be a Mimic threat and she can't get any of her old life back until it's dead and gone. She has to pay a price to keep Mimic contained, and while the Afton/Glitchtrap gods scramble to convince her otherwise, the Roxy in this new AU does have the choice whether she pays it or not.
But she will always still have to deal with the consequences of those with power. Every single time. And every single time so far, her entire existence is the consequence for them. Her life overall has not been the result of her own choices, but rather, the choices of people that never cared about her to begin with...
At least in this new universe she has a good childhood to fall back on and a cool ass horsie. And can actually do something about this shit. She can't normally do that :(

the way, in this universe, the fate of a nation rests on three children who weren’t loved by their father. how the roy kids’ principles aren’t principles at all but thinly veiled costumes designed to garner love, or the sort of success that their father would have interpreted as love — roman pushing for a neonazi because mencken’s ruthless and heartless the way his dad always wanted him to be, and most importantly he chose roman first; shiv pushing for jimenez simply because it’s advantageous for mattson, the one person who made her feel important when her brothers didn’t; kendall sitting on the fence between his two siblings and landing decisively on the side of evil the moment he felt betrayed by his sister. it’s not even ABOUT the politics, it never was!! we watched four seasons of logan roy mindfucking his children specifically so it could lead to THIS and i’m!! just!!! insane about it!!!!
