if you think it’s weird when americans are amazied at foreign things from foreign countries you should really see how non amaricans treat amarica.

my ex girlfriend -who i still talk to and has never stepped a foot in America- is absolutely ecstatic to visit America and see -and i shit you not- a red fire hydrant.

#they are also very exited to go to American dinner and trying all the american fast food joints #invited her to my prom next year just so they can have the whole amarican experience too #they tell me all the time how exited and how they veiw America and amaricans #and it’s true that they think smiling/waving/making small talk is weird and an amarican thing #it’s funny because even as a shy introvert i still do all those things #amaricans are weirdly friendly not fake everyone
