A sort-of Grease!AU with Rose as Sandy and Blanche as Danny (or, even better, Rizzo).

#if you’re wondering: yes. this was brought about by Hozier’ ‘too sweet’#which is. by all counts. not a love song#but the idea of rose being ‘too sweet’ for blanche hit me like a lightning bolt upon first listen#and I had to put it out there#realistically speaking I have nothing to add to this. i already have too many wips I’m working on#and it’s still a very unbalanced idea. for one idk where to place Dorothy#she doesn’t strike me as either the Danny or the Sandy type#maybe she’d be a better Rizzo? Italian. disillusioned#but her brand of self-denial doesn’t really fit with Rizzo’s self-destruction in my mind#to be fair all of them are pretty upright citizens. none of them properly fit the ‘bad girl’ type#blanche is just the one that feels the most similar to me#and she did do some wild stuff in her adolescence (at least according to her). might all be tales. but…#idk idk there’s potential there. obviously a lot of stuff would have to be changed but rn I don’t have anything to add to it#you know. maybe I just want to see Blanche in a leather jacket now that I think about it#god I hope people read the tags on my posts. 3/4 of the post is in here#the golden girls#golden wives
