sorry but i worked in a barnes and noble and it’s just so offputting to see him in the shelves there like. hello
#yes i worked in the cafe that’s beside the point#i kinda feel like i was meant to work there yk. if they paid more. like id work there forever#i kinda loved that job even when it sucked like that’s my soulmate job a little bit…#i met my best friends there and i had the best manager and i miss him and it saved me from my insane mental state#and also it was just such an interesting time at that location like. transferring management so after a month of training i was kind of more#experienced than the manager and my one friend was for sure and we all just kinda came together to try to make the place work#and it was suuuuuch a bonding experience that was one of the peaks of my life tbh i miss it#oh my god idk you just had to be there for the vibe too.
