Demigod reader - "The oracle saids im going to die, there's nothing we can do about it"

Before any of the chain can speak

Percy, leo and two other demigods rush in

"WE HEARD YOU GOT A PROPHECY! How bad is it?"

"Well it says once I return to Hyrule, I'm destined to die......so. Anyways I think we have some introductions to make-" they point at the long dark haired demigod girl they never seen before "that's piper, daughter of Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty" they then point to a demigod with blond hair and grey eyes. "And that's annebeth, daughter of Athena goddess of widsom"

All the demigods look at each other. "Forget introductions, you're going to die? Did the oracle directly use the word die?" Percy asked panicky

"Well no, it said im going to meet my end"

"Well that doesn't have to mean death. It-it could mean you reached the end of your journey"

The chain nodded at. They liked the sound of that better.

"Did the oracle say anything else?" Annebeth asked

Demigod reader looked away sheepishly

"Wait the oracle said something else? Why didn't you tell us?" Twilight asked. They only said that the oracle said they were going to die.

Demigod reader leads the other demigods away from the group a little and talks in a hushed tone

"The oracle said that I'll die protecting the one I love"

The demigod erupts in chatter

"You love someone?"

"Who?"

Percy lets out a victory laugh

"Your acting happy that im going to die percy"

"Obviously im not happy about that, I knew you liked twilight!! Oh OH new theory. It doesn't mean you're going to die, it means you're going to get married. Once you get married it's the end of a journey onto a new one. BAM not going to die!"

Reader puts her head in her hands and groans.

Percy towards the chain "GOOD NEWS EVERYONE. NEW THEORY. THE PROPHECY ISN'T ABOUT DEATH IT'S ABOUT THEM GETTING MARRIED"

The chain just looks confused. How did they go from dying to demigod reader getting married?

Twilight breaks the twig he was fiddling with in half and he tenses up completely.

Warrior blinks before clapping the Rancher on his shoulder. He's looking at Reader though. "Should we prepare a dowery then?"

Time smiles, covering his mouth with his hand. "What a happy occasion then. We'll be happy to look after them well."

"Wait! With who?" Wind pokes his head forward. "Who are they marrying?"

"One of us?" Sky tilts his head.

"Well not me." Legend crpsses his arms. "No offence."

"I don't think you were even an option, Vet." Hyrule snirks.

Wild and Four both slide up to Reader, taling an arm each. "By all means, tell us more!"
