Uramichi. God fucking damn it. I see him literally not touching you for weeks thinking that all of the dates the two of you have been going on are just platonic. Just coincidental meetings. Nothing out of the ordinary. Because he thinks his life is miserable and why would someone like you--bright and outgoing and full of life--ever see him like that? But meanwhile you're like "ummmm we've been dating for like a month?" so you have to just full on initiate something physical so he gets the point. Showing up at his house with nothing on under your coat might be unsubtle enough. And you are ABSOLUTELY right that when the dial-up internet in his head connects he just snaps.

they're legit the same major only one has more focus on astro but if you double you get the same thing just with more physics and honestly that's a hell of a good deal. and yes i'm calling myself pretentious LOL bc on some fundamental level stem kids have and will always be pretentious

mechanics is super interesting!!!! but what i like about mechanics is that you can apply it to a lot of things and just the understanding of that rUINS SO MANY MOVIES FOR ME (in a good way). like one time in hs (bc yes i've wanted to do physics since hs) one of my teachers (and buddies at this point lmao) made us do a physics lab on the gwen stacy scene in andrew garfield's spiderman and now any spy movie makes me want to crawl under a bridge bc if they have a 'grappling hook to not fall' scene and they're either carrying another person or they're going super fast and tHE STRESS IN THEIR ARM WOULD FUCK IT UP SO BAD OML. don't grapple hook to look cool kids you might mURDER YOUR ARM. when i tell you spiderman, batman, and the robins are in my love-hate category I MEAN IT. i know applied physics is its own class but thats for engineers bleh LOL

ngl mechanics makes driving so much easier for me like ive had enough questions on break time that applying it in the real world makes it make sense LMAO what can i say physics is fun (yes thats a phrase that has an equation if you get it you get a virtual cookie)

oh and not to mention SPACE!!! SPACE IS SO GOD DAMN COOL!!! i still haven't really decided what i want to do within astro (planetary vs theoretical vs observational) but the way shit works up there? AMAZING! and the plus is that i've always been a learner that's loved interconnecting subjects so having physics and math and astro be so interconnected is so cool to me oml akndjsdjdnsf

my love for physics actually came from engineering (look, we've cemented that i'm a stem kid did ya really expect anything different? LMAO) bc fundamentally in engineering physics is kinda like common sense and triangles are your best friend in engineering too (WHEN IN DOUBT TRIANGLES AND SOH CAH TOA ARE YOUR BEST FRIENDS) and yeah. oh and don't get me started on how starry-eyed i can be when it comes to math. math iS SO COOL
