still have not had my little personal theory disproved, being that the reason slur reclamation (particularly homophobic and ableist slurs) is having such a comeback in the websphere within the past year or two is because it is no longer socially acceptable for white people to be using racial slurs and they need slurs of their own
#obviously i can't be the slur police and i don't really want to try#but it's a bit weird to open up a new part of your identity and immediately think about all the slurs you can reclaim now#and it just kinda shows a fundamental lack of understanding about how various slurs work and are used#they want their own version of the n word so bad...
