Next Part Here!!
Yandere Boxer x Reader
Viktor Markov was not the man you thought he was; well, not anymore. You both were raised in a small eastern European town. Him being the boy next door; always covered in dirt and was the sweetest little boy who would bring you flowers and bugs that he found. And you were the weird little girl who would collect the rocks and flowers that he gifted you with a smile. So naturally the two of you became friends, two peas in a pod.
He always had your back and you always had his. Growing up together in eastern Europe was hard. Both of you came from a pretty rough neighborhood and home life but that didn't stop you two from being happy. After all you only needed each other. It was just you two against the world. And it was like that for years.
Well, that was until high school. Viktor stopped talking to you in Sophomore year. Your calls went ignored, socials un-interacted, and texts delivered. So you just gave up. You no longer chased after him or begged him to tell you what was wrong when all he did was give you a cold shoulder. And honestly, you just didn't want to be around him anymore.
He got in with a bad crowd. Some upperclassmen guys who would just skip class to smoke. And seeing your childhood best friend become one of them broke your heart. You tried, you really did. But instead the blonde snapped at you, telling you to stop acting like his Mother and that he didn't need you anymore. And he was right, Viktor was more grown up now. Hard jawline, firm muscles, and standing at a staggering 6'3 feet tall.
He didn't need your back anymore.
And you didn't need his.
High school was a blur. You kept to your studies and only had a small circle of friends that consisted of all girls who have all been friends longer than before you ever came around. You were the grass friend. They all walked on the sidewalk while you trailed behind to the side; always stepping in the mud and grass. They weren't really your friends, you just didn't want to be alone. And they didn't see you as a friend, they just didn't want you to be alone. Pitiful isn't it?
But none of it mattered. It was all over and done in the blink of an eye. After high school was university and in university was medical school and after medical school was a new beginning. Being a docotor was never really your dream. It was your parent's dream and they just wanted the best for their little girl. You didn't want to disapoint them and go to culinary school like what you really wanted. So you worked and went to med school at the same time.
It was hard. It really was. You have no friends, no social life, and no one has your back. Yet it's your job to have people's backs. Ironic and unfair. But that's life.
Money was getting tight. Paying off student loans and working multiple jobs was getting exhausting. Living? No, it felt like you were dying. But you got offered a job you could not refuse. A patient came into your office. It was an older man in his early 50s.
"You're quite quiet for a doctor." He says. "Shy thing are you?"
You give him a silent nod. Hopefully this conversation doesn't take the turn you don't want it to take. Getting harassed by patients as a woman doctor is scarily common.
"I need a doctor. One like you; diligent, quiet, and quite the eye candy. Work for me krasivyy (beautiful). The pay is better than working in this heap clinic."
You eye him oddlyand whisper, "Why do you need me? Do you want me to be one of those underworld doctors or something? If so then no. I won't be patching up assassins or serial killers."
The man laughs, his voice booming in the small examination room.
"No no. You won't be dealing with any of those type. But this still is underground as you say. I own an underground boxing ring. And I need a doctor to patch up my fighters. Illegal, but good pay no?
You thought about it for two minutes then finally gave your answer.
“When do I start?”
The man’s name is Radko. And right now you’re in his gym. It’s dark, stinky, and full of shirtless men training for their next match. You thought you felt out of place in school? Nope, this is 100x worse. And some of these guys are acting like they’ve never seen a woman before.
“Stop looking at me like that weirdo.” You think to yourself while walking past a guy on a bench who’s wiping the sweat off his chest. His hungry gaze on you sends shivers down your spine.
“Ignore their stares.” Radko puts a rough hand on your shoulder. “They’re not used to seeing pretty women.”
“Yeah I can see that.” You mutter.
You two stop in front of the door near the back of the gym. It says “Clinic” in front of the door. He opens the door and you’re greeted with a surprisingly clean office. Radko must have cleaned up a little when he knew you would be coming.
“This is where you’ll be. Some guys will walk in pretty roughed up. Just patch em up abd send them on their way. If any of em try anything with you, you tell me right away. Okay?”
Radko was like a Dad and you liked that about him. A pretty intimidating Dad who owns an illegal boxing ring but what does that matter. Doesn’t particularly make him a bad person.
“Okay. Thank you.” You say with a warm smile.
“Ah you’re so milyy (cute)! Please don’t quit within the first week, I don’t think my heart can handle it if you go.” Radko says and hugs you. You give the big man a pat on the back in return.
“I’ll leave you to it now. You’ll receive your pay bi-weekly. See you now.”
And with that you were left alone. You were left in a small private clinic you could call your own. Maybe this job wouldn’t be as bad as you thought? But all positive thoughts flew out the window when your first patient of the day walked in.
Tall, pale, short blonde hair, scarred torso, muscle on muscle, and piercing blue eyes. All features of someone whom you thought you would never see again. Who you never wanted to see again.
“Kroshechnyy?” (Tiny)
God that nick name. There was a time it would make you smile and laugh. But now it just pissed you off. He had the audacity to call you that as if you two were still buddy buddy? No, fuck that. Fuck him.
“It’s Y/n to you now. What do you want Viktor?”
The man’s face creased with pain. Not physical, no, something worse.
“What are you doing here? This place isn’t for you.” His voice was a deeper timbre from when you last spoke to him Sophomore year. He walks closer to you and you can smell his sweat from training but also… Jean Paul Gaultier? Why would you wear designer fragrance at a gym? Weirdo.
Little did you know when he saw you walk in the gym he immediately raced to the locker room to freshen up and see you.
“I’m a doctor. I got a side job from Radko.” You explain swiftly. “If you’re uninjured then please leave. Other patients may come in with actual reasons to see me.”
Rather than face to face you’re face to chest with him. How the hell did he get so tall? You crane your neck up to meet his eyes.
His expression stiffens. His usual cold demeanor returns.
“You shouldn’t be here. This place isn’t for you. It’s dangerous.”
You roll your eyes. “I think I can manage. Now please leave me alone. You’re the last person I ever want to see.”
Viktor ignores the comment and his gaze remains ice cold. You nearly shiver, did the room temperature drop?
“Stop acting childish. Tell Rad that you quit.”
“But I’m not quitting.”
He steps closer.
“I’ll make you.”
“And what are you gonna do?”
He bends down to your level and scoffs.
“I don’t need to lift a finger. You’ll get scared and run off with your tail between those little legs of yours. These men here will eat you alive.”
Did he not think you knew that before you signed up for all this? You were aware of what you walked into. Underground gym, surrounded by men, all physically fit to the max. They could rip you in half. But you needed this job. There wasn’t time to be afraid.
“Yeah yeah I know. I don’t need your lecture. Now get out before I tell Radko.”
Viktor leans closer. His nose mere centimeters from yours.
“Don’t come crying to me when you get hurt.”
“If I get hurt then I’ll just patch myself up. I didn’t go through 4 years of med school just to cry when I’m in pain.”
The tall Russian growls lowly to himself and leaves, not before slamming the door of course.
“Fuck…”
This new job of yours just got worse tenfold.
It’s been about two weeks since you started working here. And you’ve met all of Radko’s men. They weren’t as bad as you thought they would be. Yeah they would flirt with you but not in the gross way. They knew when to quit.
Well, all of them except for Vladimir. The same one who eyed you like a piece of meat the first day you came here. Everyday he would come to the clinic to shoot his shot. And everyday you turned him down.
“Little kotenok (kitten) is still feisty.” Vladimir clicks his tongue. He manspreads in the examination chair, flexing his ab muscles and turning his head to the side to show off his impressive jawline. But all it does is un-impress you.
“If you’re going to waste my time like this everyday then I’m going to tell Radko.” You firmly state and cross your arms.
Like a kicked puppy the boxer whines, “Nooooo. I’m sorry please don’t kick me out. This is the only room besides Coach’s that is air conditioned.”
You can’t help but chuckle at that.
“Not my problem, do an ice bath or something.”
Vladimir chuckles and goes to say something else but stops himself when he sees and hears the door open. You also turn your attention to the door, wondering who it is and why they didn’t knock.
“Get out.” Viktor says. His voice like stone, as is his glare. His bloody swollen eye only ads to his intimidating aura.
Vladimir gets out of the chair and groans. “Way to be a cockblock Vicky.” He says mockingly.
You were about to shoot in and say how there was no way you would give him the light of day but Viktor had other plans. His fist makes contact with Vladimir’s abdomen with a mean punch. Making the other man wheeze and keel over in pain.
“Get the fuck out.” Viktor grabs him by the hair and kicks him out of the office. Literally. The door then slams shut, leaving you alone with your heated childhood friend.
“Thanks…” You mutter. Unable to look into his eyes, well… eye. The other is swollen shut.
He grunts and sits on the examination bed. Getting into doctor mode you walk over to Viktor and assess the damage. There’s a few bruises on his ribs but his eyes seem to be the worst. Delicately you touch part of the bruised eye and he inwardly flinches, making you draw your hand back in an instant.
“What happened?” You softly ask.
“Alexei sucker punched me. Dick.”
You stifle a laugh, making your patient deadpan. “Typical Alexi. I’ll tell him off the next time he comes in here complaining about his stomach aches.”
Viktor and you are silent when you rub ointment on his bruises. After the ointment is all done you hand him an icepack.
“Use this for the eye.”
He nods and thanks you with a silent nod. Then, he leaves just like that.
After that you would see more of Viktor and less Vladimir. To be honest you’ve been seeing less of everyone. Everyday Viktor came in with new reasons to come to you. Headaches, head trauma, bruises, scratches, and the worst was a dislocation.
“What is it this time?” You don’t even need to face the door to know who it is.
“He needs help!”
You whip around immediately, nearly spilling your coffee. You see Alexi and Cain at the door and draped over their shoulders is an unconscious Vladimir. You run over to them and tell them to lay Vladimir down on the bed gently while you assess his condition.
“What happened!?” You say worriedly. He was barely breathing. You begin doing chest compressions.
“We found him outside. Some of those bastards from west gym probably did this to him…” Cain says, his eyes are full of rage.
The compressions aren’t working. So instead you ready up the life support. He won’t last long with traumatic brain injuries like this.
“What’s gonna happen to him Doc?” Alexi sounds the most worried. He’s just a kid, only being 17.
“I’m putting him under life support.” And it was damn hard to do it on your own.
“Thank you.” Cain says. He puts a hand on the small of Alexi’s back. “Let’s leave her alone. She’s busy.”
The two men leave. Leaving you alone with Vladimir who has one foot in hell. No offense Vladimir, but no way you’re going to heaven. All day you stay by Vladimir’s side. Other men come in to check on him or get patch ups. And you go about your job, leaving the unconscious man to rest on the bed.
If I knew she would be stuck to his side like glue then I never would have beaten the fucker half to death. The plan was to kill him but the stubborn bastard just didn’t want to die. I watch Y/n from outside the clinic. The window’s blinds are open. She’s so close yet so far; always out of my reach. Part of it is my fault. I was the one who pushed her away after all.
But I had no choice. I didn’t want her involved with the people I was involved with in high school. I needed them in order to get some side jobs. Hell, a couple of them box for Radko too at this gym. I thought Y/n would be gone from my life for good, but I was wrong. I thought God was punishing me for the things I have done but it seems like he took pity on me just this once by bringing her back to me and letting me have a second chance.
But so far I’m making no progress. What even is love? I know I love her but I don’t know how. All I know is that I need to protect her from all the wolves here. I already staked my claim on her but one fucker didn’t want to listen. Vladimir, that egotistical thorn in my side. The next chance I get I'll kill him for good. It's not like this is my first time killing for her after all.
High school was when I first took someone's life. Some upperclassman bitch was harassing Y/n. I couldn't stand watching her suffer. And I couldn't comfort her like before when we were young; by this time I already cut off Y/n for good. But I knew there was something I could do. So I killed her. And I killed anyone who dared breathe Y/n's name wrong.
I'll do whatever I can to protect the love of my life. Slowly, little by little, I'll win her back. She'll be mine again and we'll be even closer than friends. But for now I'll do what I can to keep her safe from the sidelines. Even if it means she'll find out and hate me forever.

☆ yummy in my tummy ☆
part two
a/n i swear everytime im about to play love and deepspace, the app needs another update. my phone storage can't keep up T0T anyways, i'm not that far in but xavier is my fave. he lowkey reminds me of silver haha. rafayel is a close second tho
includes: all of octavinelle, scarabia + pomefiore
tw mentions of eating disorder
want more? check out part one!
Octavinelle <3
⋆ Perhaps the last dorm that you want to know about your skills. But alas, your heart is vast, so even shady seamen deserves some delicious home cooked meals/treats!
⋆ How about making some extra cash? Is what Azul says after taking a bit. He does mean it. Not only would Monstro Lounge gain some more popularity after news of the Ramshackle Perfect’s home made meals/treats were being served, but he gets to spend time with you without giving his feelings away? A win-win if you asked him. As we all know, Azul does suffer from an eating disorder, as much as he tries to deny it, but somehow your cooking/baking doesn’t upset him at all. If anything, he gets so lost in the flavors that he doesn’t realize that his stomach is full and plate empty. Should he be concerned? Disgusted with himself? Lots of negative emotions begin to swell up, but when he glances at you, fully expecting the worst, he’s met with your proud smile. Happiness practically radiating off your being. And suddenly, Azul doesn’t mind the feeling of a full stomach as long as you look at him like that again.
⋆ Jade finds himself coming to you more often to ask for tips on how to cook mushrooms in different ways. Heck, he even encourages you to come out mushroom hunting with him. He’s fascinated by the way you work, seeing you mix different spices and ingredients together inspires him to do the same. He enjoys getting a glimpse at a third world, your world. It reminds him that the universe is truely a big, fascinating place. He is touched that your first thought was to bring him food, don’t worry he’ll repay the favor.
⋆ Your food is the only thing to get Floyd out of his moods! Once he smells the delicious scent of your meals/sweets, he instantly goes back to being silly and goofy! He will pester the living daylights out of you to make his favorite foods. You will know no peace! Floyd always makes his distaste clear. He’s an honest guy, what can he say? So it’s a big achievement that your food gets the Floyd pass. He will glare at anyone that dares to come near his food. This is his food, not theirs! Floyd’s a good cook himself, so like Jade, if he’s feeling particularly chummy, you might be gifted with his own unique concoction.
Scarabia <3
⋆ Scarabia is known to have the best food in the school! So it was a little jarring when you decided to give them some of your homemade food. But you really have nothing to worry about when it comes to these too.
⋆ You thought you were going to go blind with how bright Kalim's smile was. It truly could rival the sun. Because of the trust between you and Kalim, he devours it within seconds. Practically buzzing in excitement as the flavors touch his tongue. He’s not joking when he says that it’s as good as Jamil’s food. He wants to throw a party where you and Jamil have a cook off! But also just to show off your amazing cooking. You’re going to have to politely tell him that might be too much for you. Or that you only cook for special people! (subtle flirting hehe) And well Kalim is Kalim so it’s like a 50/50 chance that it won’t fly over his head. But in the case that it doesn’t, Kalim gets all warm and flustered. You know how some people get cuteness aggression and just want to squeeze said cuteness, well that’s Kalim. Instantly you're in his arms while he exclaims how much he loves you!
⋆ Jamil gave you the weirdest look, thinking that you wanted something from him. But alas! You did it out of the goodness of your heart. After getting over his initial suspicion, Jamil is incredibly thankful! I get a feeling that between everything that Jamil has to handle, he tends to eat very little most days. Just enough to get him to bedtime. So when you popped out of thin air with food, but not just any food his favorite, Jamil is touched. Though just because he’s touched, that doesn’t mean he won’t critique it! Internally of course, unless you ask. I would like to say that this would lead to cooking dates, but Jamil gives me the impression that he doesn’t like others in the kitchen while he works. Though he’s willing to try it out for you! Omg, if you make him food from the Scalding Sands, he just might tear up (lol, probably not but that’s a funny thought) but he will be incredibly touched!
Pomefiore <3
⋆ A tricky dorm to cook/bake for. A life or death situation! You must satisfy the Queen’s tastes or else you’ll face everlasting sleep! OoooOOoooooOOOoooo
⋆ Your greatest foe, the Queen herself! Does your food satisfy the Queen’s strict diet? ………partially. Listen, Vil holds himself to high regards and keeps a stern eye on his calories and where those calories come from. And while yes, you are going the right path, you also took some side quests on the way. In other words, you were like 74% to getting Vil’s approval. But fear not! For Vil is more than willing to take you under his wing! Though, Vil’s not a chef himself, so he’ll guide you in the ways of his diets. As long as you keep those in mind, Vil finds himself thoroughly enjoying anything you make him. He enjoys foods that are light on the stomach with plenty of nourishment. Vil will oftentimes find himself thinking about your food. His stomach growling in hunger. He appreciates it whenever you show up with homemade snacks. Vil will oftentimes submerge himself in his work, whether that be new roles, schoolwork or guiding his dorm mates, and forget to eat. So knowing that you're always thinking of him and coming to check up on him makes him feel all mushy and gooey inside. Goodness, the effects you have on him.
⋆ C’est délicieux! Anything and everything you give Rook is eaten with fervor. Truly enjoying and savoring every bite! For how could he let anything go to waste? You put your heart and soul into it, it would be wrong not to enjoy it with his own heart and soul. His appetite is never quenched when it comes to your food. He consumes your food with such earnestness that it's hard not to get all flustered. The compliments are never ending when it comes to him. Rook could (and has) write poetry off the delicious taste of your food. Sweet, yet a little off putting. Will jump at any occasion to speak about your food, and by extension you. Eveytime he sees you with a bag or box, Rook is skipping towards you with a little tune to each step.
⋆ Nothing could beat his Meemaw’s apple pie, but Epel supposes that yours come to a close second. Your food is the only thing Vil will turn a blind eye to, which Epel takes as an opportunity to slyly (not really) suggest new recipes for you to try. Honestly, Epel really likes your food! He gets all flustered whenever you pop with food for him. At first he was a little insulted that you made him food, thinking you were insulting his masculinity or something by babying him. But after your very honest words (and a reprimanding from Vil and Leona for making you sad), Epel understands that it was just you trying to show him that you cared for him. I can see Epel going to Jack and asking ‘Is someone giving you food manly?’ and Jack, who happened to overhear Leona telling Ruggie, casually responds with, ‘My mom always makes my dad food, so yeah…” And Epel’s all like, ‘Well damn, if Jack looks like that then his dad must be super macho.’ or something like that. Needless to say, Epel has never hit someone so hard before over food. (rip grim and ace)

It’s always been you - Kim Mingyu
They had always been little rivals, secretly liking each other much more than they would ever admit – they just didn’t realize it yet.
From this, love would bloom.
content: non Idol Mingyu x non Idol reader, fight, angst, happy end, fluff, smut, drama, romcom, enemies to lovers, childhood rivals
wc: 1.5 k
a/n: I love the concept from enemies to lovers.
You had always loved the summer – when the weather was perfect, and you could visit the beach, hang out at the ice cream parlour, or lose yourself in a new book by the pool. Summer in Busan was incredible, and growing up there was the best.
But there was one part of your childhood that you didn’t miss.
Kim Mingyu.
Kim Mingyu was the neighbor’s son, and since our moms were best friends, we practically grew up together. Whenever our moms had their coffee dates, we’d be dragged along to play, which usually meant Mingyu teasing and annoying me endlessly.
At first, we got along well enough. But everything changed when we started school, and Mingyu met Jungkook.
Jungkook had been your first crush, and Mingyu knew it because he overheard a conversation between you and your best friend. From that moment on, Mingyu made it his mission to embarrass you. He told Jungkook that you still wet the bed sometimes, and after that, Jungkook wanted nothing to do with you.
Every day, you’d greet Jungkook sweetly, but over time, you gave up.
The three of you grew apart, and whenever your mom asked if you wanted to join their get-togethers, you found an excuse to avoid them.
When you moved to Seoul, you rarely heard about Jungkook or Mingyu anymore. You still followed each other on social media, but that was about it.
Now, as you sat on the train heading back to Busan, you realized you’d be seeing them again. Your mom was turning 50, and you couldn’t miss the party. Mingyu’s mom, Minjae, was hosting the event.
It was a surprise for your mom – she had no idea you’d be there.
When you knocked on the door, shifting nervously from one foot to the other under the scorching sun, Minjae opened it with a gasp. “Y/N! You look like you’re about to pass out. Come in, come in!” She hurriedly took your suitcase. “Where’s my son? Did you walk all the way here?”
You nodded while taking a sip of the water she handed you. “I waited for Mingyu, but he didn’t show up.”
Before you could explain further, the door swung open, and Mingyu walked in, clearly annoyed. “Mom, I waited for an hour. Y/N didn’t show up.”
“I didn’t show up?” You glared at him. “You idiot, you left me waiting in the heat!”
Mingyu scoffed. “My mom told me to pick you up from the South station.”
“South? I was waiting at the West station!” You shot back, incredulous.
Minjae gasped. “Oh dear, I’m so sorry! I must’ve mixed up the stations. That’s completely my fault.”
You sighed, laughing it off. “It happens. I’ll just get changed and head to the pool.”
As you picked up your suitcase, Minjae added, “By the way, you’ll have to share a room with Mingyu. His sister’s room had a pipe leak, so it’s unusable.”
You groaned internally but forced a smile. “That’s fine, we’ve shared a room before.”
In reality, it was far from fine. You’d rather sleep outside than share a room with him. But what choice did you have?
As you unpacked your things, Mingyu casually strolled in, acting as if nothing had changed between you two. “So, still mad about the station mix-up?” he asked with a grin.
You shot him a look. “Let’s just say you owe me a lot of ice cream.”
Mingyu chuckled, leaning against the doorframe. “Deal. But don’t think I’ll let you off easy. You still owe me for all those times you ditched us back in high school.”
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t help the small smile tugging at your lips. Maybe this weekend wouldn’t be so bad after all.
At your mom’s birthday party, the tension only grew.
You wore a beautiful dress, one that hugged you in all the right places and shimmered softly under the evening lights. You felt confident, graceful even, as you moved through the crowd of guests. It was a special night, after all – your mother’s 50th.
Mingyu was there too, looking unexpectedly sharp in a fitted suit. He was talking with some family friends, laughing along with the group, but every now and then, his gaze drifted toward you. He tried to act like he didn’t notice, but the way his eyes lingered whenever you passed by made it clear – he thought you looked beautiful.
And you had noticed him too, though you’d never admit it. He’d grown into someone strikingly handsome, his presence more confident than before, but there was still something about him that annoyed you.
The party went on, with laughter and music filling the night air. Every now and then, Mingyu would find a reason to talk to you. He’d make small talk, ask if you needed anything, or simply stand next to you when there was no one else around. It was subtle, but enough for you to realize that avoiding him wasn’t working as well as you’d hoped.
Later in the evening, as the celebrations began to wind down, you found yourself sitting outside on the terrace, taking a break from the noise inside. Mingyu joined you a few moments later, holding two glasses of wine.
“Here,” he said, handing you one. “Thought you might need this after the long day.”
You accepted it with a small nod, unsure of what to say. The silence between you was thick, and for a moment, it seemed like neither of you would break it. Then, his voice cut through the quiet.
“You look… really nice tonight,” Mingyu admitted, his voice softer than usual, eyes focused on the stars above.
You glanced at him, caught off guard by his honesty. “Thanks,” you replied, your heart unexpectedly skipping a beat.
Before you could say more, your mom’s laughter echoed from the doorway, followed by Mingyu’s mom, Minjae. They were standing together, arms linked, watching the two of you from afar.
“Oh, look at them,” your mom said playfully, nudging Minjae. “I swear, those two are secretly in love with each other.”
Minjae giggled in agreement. “I’ve always thought so too. They just need to realize it themselves.”
You felt your cheeks heat up in embarrassment, and you noticed Mingyu shift awkwardly beside you, pretending not to hear their teasing. You both exchanged an uncomfortable glance, but neither of you said a word.
Maybe your moms were right. Or maybe they were just caught up in their own hopes and memories of your childhood. Either way, the idea lingered in the air between you, impossible to ignore.
The evening was in full swing, with soft music playing in the background and the sound of laughter filling the room. You tried to keep your attention elsewhere, but it was impossible to ignore Mingyu – especially when you saw him flirting with a stunning blonde across the room.
She laughed at something he said, leaning in a little closer, and you felt a sharp pang of jealousy rise in your chest. You hated the feeling. Why did it bother you so much?
As if sensing your gaze, Mingyu glanced in your direction, catching your eye for a split second. Panic surged through you, and before he could see the frustration written all over your face, you quickly made your way upstairs, needing a moment to breathe.
Once in your room, you leaned against the door, your heart racing. You hated how easily he could get under your skin. Just when you thought you had your emotions in check, there he was, messing it all up again.
A few minutes later, there was a knock at the door, followed by the sound of it creaking open. “Y/N?” Mingyu’s voice cut through the silence, his steps soft as he entered the room.
You didn’t turn to face him, not trusting yourself to stay calm. “What do you want, Mingyu?”
He sighed, walking closer until he was standing just a few feet away. “What’s going on with you? You’ve been acting strange all night.”
“I’m fine,” you muttered, crossing your arms in an attempt to shut him out.
“Doesn’t seem like it,” he persisted, his tone stubborn. “You ran off the moment I looked at you.”
You swallowed hard, trying to keep your voice steady. “I just needed some air. That’s all.”
Mingyu wasn’t buying it. He stepped closer, his eyes narrowing slightly. “You sure it doesn’t have something to do with the blonde downstairs?”
You froze, your heart thudding in your chest. “I don’t care who you flirt with, Mingyu.”
He smirked, clearly not believing you. “You’re jealous.”
“I am not jealous,” you snapped, but your voice betrayed you, a hint of frustration slipping through.
Mingyu’s smirk only grew wider as he took another step forward. The air between you felt charged, heavy with tension neither of you could ignore. Before you could process what was happening, he leaned in, his face inches from yours.
“You are,” he whispered softly, his breath warm against your skin. “And I think you’ve had a little too much to drink.”
Your heart raced as the scent of him filled your senses, the tension pulling you closer despite your better judgment. “So have you,” you replied, barely above a whisper, your body betraying you as you found yourself leaning in.
Suddenly, his lips were on yours, and any hesitation you’d felt evaporated in an instant. The kiss was electric, years of unspoken emotions pouring out all at once. Mingyu’s hands found your waist, pulling you against him as your fingers tangled in his hair.
Before you knew it, he lifted you effortlessly, carrying you over to the bed as your lips never left his. The room spun slightly, a combination of the alcohol and the heat between you, but none of it mattered. Nothing mattered except him in that moment.
He laid you down gently, his body hovering over yours as he kissed you deeper, his touch igniting every nerve in your body. You knew this was reckless, fueled by too many drinks and years of suppressed feelings, but you couldn’t stop. Neither could he.
The night blurred around you as you gave in to the moment, to the desire that had been building between you for so long.
The next morning, you woke up with the sunlight streaming in, blinking away sleep as you glanced around the room. Your heart dropped when you spotted Mingyu lying naked beside you, the sheets barely covering him. Panic surged through you, and you quickly bolted from the bed, rushing into the bathroom.
Once inside, you turned on the shower, letting the hot water wash over you. You stood there for what felt like an eternity, trying to forget everything that had happened the night before. The warmth enveloped you, but it couldn’t erase the memory of your impulsive decision.
After what felt like ages, you finally stepped out, wrapping a bathrobe around yourself tightly. Taking a deep breath to steady your racing heart, you opened the bathroom door and stepped back into the room.
Mingyu was awake, scrolling through his phone. He looked up at you, a playful grin spreading across his face as he caught sight of you. The only thing covering his lower body was the blanket, but that didn’t make it any less distracting.
“Morning, sleeping beauty,” he said, his voice teasing but warm.
You tried to maintain your composure, feeling heat rise to your cheeks. “Don’t… don’t look at me like that,” you stammered, feeling flustered.
He chuckled, clearly enjoying your embarrassment. “Why not? You’re the one who made things interesting last night.”
You shot him an incredulous look. “Interesting? You mean reckless!”
He leaned back against the headboard, a mischievous glint in his eyes. “I’d say it was a lot of fun. But I guess you don’t remember all of it?”
Your stomach flipped at the implication. “I remember enough,” you replied defensively, crossing your arms.
Mingyu’s expression softened slightly. “Hey, it’s okay. We’re both adults here. It doesn’t have to change anything… unless you want it to.”
You hesitated, your mind racing. What did you want? The night had been exhilarating, but it also complicated everything. “I just need some time to think,” you said finally.
“Fair enough,” he replied, his grin fading a bit. “But just know, I’m not going anywhere.”
With that, he turned back to his phone, and you felt the weight of the moment hang in the air. You needed to sort through your feelings and decide what this all meant, but for now, all you could do was breathe and try to regain your composure.
Later that evening, as you sat on the terrace, Mingyu finally found you. He leaned against the railing, his expression serious yet relaxed. “Y/N,” he began, “I’ve been thinking about last night.”
You tensed, your heart pounding. “What about it?”
He took a deep breath. “I thought it was… nice. Maybe we could make it a thing? Like a friends-with-benefits situation.”
Your stomach fluttered at his suggestion. It was reckless, but the thrill of it tempted you. “Are you sure that’s a good idea?” you asked, trying to mask your curiosity.
Mingyu smirked. “Why not? We both know there’s chemistry between us. No strings attached, just fun.”
You weighed the options, knowing it could complicate things further. But the excitement of being close to him again was hard to resist. After a moment of hesitation, you nodded. “Okay, let’s do it.”
His grin returned, a mix of relief and mischief. “Great. Let’s keep it casual.”
That night, you found yourselves tangled together once more, the boundaries of friendship blurred in the heat of the moment. The chemistry was undeniable, and as you lost yourselves in each other, you realized this new arrangement might just lead to more than either of you had anticipated.
Thinking about him even when you weren’t together, feeling a connection that went beyond physical attraction.
One fateful night, however, everything changed. You returned to his room unexpectedly and walked in on Mingyu in bed with the blonde from the party. The sight hit you like a punch to the gut, and tears instantly welled in your eyes. You felt as if the ground had vanished beneath you.
Panicking, you turned and bolted downstairs, your heart racing and emotions spiraling. Mingyu called out after you, his voice echoing in the quiet house, but you didn’t stop. You couldn’t face him.
When you reached the living room, you spun around, breathless and trembling. Mingyu followed, completely naked, the shock on his face shifting to concern. “Y/N, wait!” he urged, desperation creeping into his voice.
As the tension in the room thickened, your emotions spilled over. “Just go back to her, Mingyu!” you shouted, your voice shaking with hurt.
He stepped closer, confusion mingling with defensiveness. “What are you talking about? It was just a bit of fun!”
“Fun? You think this is all just a game?” You couldn’t believe what you were hearing. “I thought we had something more!”
He crossed his arms, his expression hardening. “We agreed it was casual, Y/N. You knew that.”
“Casual?” you repeated, disbelief washing over you. “So I was just a fling? Just someone to pass the time?”
“Honestly, yeah,” he said, his words cutting like a knife. “It was nothing special.”
You felt your heart drop at his admission. “So, I mean nothing to you?” Tears stung your eyes as you struggled to comprehend his coldness.
“Don’t make this complicated,” he shot back, frustration evident in his voice. “You knew what this was. I never promised you anything.”
“Clearly,” you replied bitterly. “I thought we could be more than just a hookup. I thought you cared!”
“I didn’t owe you anything,” he said, shaking his head dismissively. “It was just supposed to be fun for both of us.”
The weight of his words pressed down on you. “So I’m just another girl to you? Nothing special at all?”
“Exactly,” he replied, his tone blunt. “That’s how it is.”
In that moment, you felt the reality of your situation crash down around you. You turned away, tears streaming down your face. “I can’t believe this. I deserve more than that.” With that, you grabbed your things and stormed out, the anger and heartbreak coursing through you as you realized you had to leave this behind.
You decided not to tell anyone about what happened with Mingyu. The pain was too fresh, and you weren’t ready to share it. Instead, you focused on avoiding him as much as possible. Whenever your friends planned gatherings, you found excuses to skip out.
But then came the Thanksgiving parade, a local tradition you couldn’t ignore. The streets were filled with laughter, floats, and colorful decorations, but you felt a heaviness in your heart as you walked among the crowds.
As you turned a corner, you unexpectedly ran into Mingyu. The moment your eyes met, a wave of tension washed over you. You quickly looked away, ignoring him completely. He stood there, hands shoved in his pockets, his expression a mix of regret and frustration.
“Y/N,” he called out, taking a step toward you. “Can we talk?”
You didn’t respond, your heart racing as you turned and walked away. You could feel him following, his footsteps echoing behind you.
“Please, just wait!” he urged, desperation creeping into his voice. “I know I messed up. Just give me a chance to explain!”
But you didn’t want to hear it. The memories of that night flooded back, and you quickened your pace, weaving through the crowd. You needed to escape the reminders of everything that had gone wrong between you two.
“Y/N!” he shouted, his voice rising above the noise of the parade. “Don’t just run away from this!”
You felt a mix of anger and hurt, but you didn’t stop. The last thing you wanted was to relive the pain. You pushed through the throngs of people, determined to put as much distance between you and Mingyu as possible.
In that moment, you knew you were doing what you needed to protect yourself, even if it meant facing the day alone.
Mingyu and his sister Minseo arrived with their mom for a visit, and the atmosphere was lively. You greeted them politely, trying to mask your feelings as you engaged in conversation. Minseo was friendly and easy to talk to, and you found yourself chatting with her more than you expected.
As the evening went on, you noticed Mingyu watching you from a distance, a mix of concern and uncertainty in his eyes. Eventually, he approached, attempting to break the tension.
“Hey, Y/N,” he said, his voice softer than usual. “How have you been?”
You felt your stomach twist. “I’ve been… okay,” you replied, keeping your tone brief.
He frowned slightly, sensing something was off. “Are you sure? You don’t look well.”
You didn’t want to get into it, so you shrugged. “I just haven’t been feeling great lately. I think I need to rest.”
Before he could respond, you excused yourself, feeling the weight of his gaze on your back as you headed upstairs. Once in your room, you closed the door and leaned against it, taking a deep breath. The last thing you wanted was to confront the feelings swirling inside you, especially with Mingyu so close. You needed some time to gather your thoughts.
You took a moment to collect yourself, trying to push aside the emotions that had been bubbling up since Mingyu’s arrival. The walls of your room felt both comforting and suffocating, a stark contrast to the laughter and chatter you had left behind.
After a few minutes of silence, you lay down on your bed, staring at the ceiling. Your mind raced with thoughts of Mingyu, the unresolved tension between you two, and the feelings you had tried to bury. Just as you were beginning to calm down, you heard a light knock on the door.
“Y/N?” It was Mingyu’s voice, gentle and tentative. “Can I come in?”
You hesitated, not wanting to face him just yet, but something in his tone made you nod. “Yeah, sure.”
He opened the door slowly, stepping inside with an uncertain look. “I’m sorry if I made things awkward earlier. I just wanted to check on you.”
“It’s fine,” you replied, sitting up and forcing a smile. “I just needed a moment.”
He studied your face, concern etched across his features. “You really don’t look fine. Is there anything I can do?”
The sincerity in his voice caught you off guard. You felt a flicker of the connection you once had, but you quickly reminded yourself of everything that had happened. “Honestly, I just need some space.”
Mingyu nodded, looking disappointed but understanding. “Okay. I just… I care about you, you know?”
Those words hit hard, stirring emotions you thought you had under control. You looked away, unable to meet his gaze. “I know. But things are complicated.”
“I get that,” he said softly. “But I want to fix this, Y/N. Can’t we at least talk about it?”
You sighed, feeling torn. Part of you wanted to open up, but another part was terrified of where that conversation might lead. “Maybe another time,” you said, your voice barely above a whisper.
“Alright,” he replied, though you could see the disappointment in his eyes. “Just… take care of yourself, okay?”
With that, he turned and left the room, closing the door softly behind him. You lay back on the bed, feeling the weight of everything settle heavily on your chest. You needed to sort through your feelings, but for now, all you could do was think about the choices ahead.
While helping your mom prepare for Thanksgiving dinner, you felt a knot of emotions building inside you. After a moment of hesitation, you finally said, “Mom, I think I might have deeper feelings for Mingyu.”
She looked up from chopping vegetables, her eyes brightening with interest. “Really? I’ve noticed how he looks at you. I think he feels the same way.”
You shook your head, brushing her off. “No, it’s not that simple. He’s with someone else, and I can’t just assume.”
“Just because he’s talking to someone doesn’t mean it’s over between you two,” she suggested. “You should talk to him about how you feel.”
Before you could respond, the doorbell rang, signaling Mingyu and his family’s arrival. You quickly set aside your swirling thoughts, shifting your focus to being a good host.
As everyone gathered around the table, the atmosphere buzzed with warmth and laughter. Mingyu sat directly across from you, and you felt the weight of his gaze more than once. Despite the underlying tension, there was a spark of connection that neither of you could ignore.
During dinner, Mingyu’s mom casually brought up Leona, the blonde from the party. “Mingyu and Leona are getting to know each other more seriously,” she said with a bright smile. The mention of her name sent a pang of jealousy through you, and you could see Mingyu nodding, though his expression was hard to read.
Suddenly, you felt a lump form in your throat, and panic set in. Before you could process it, you started to cough, choking on a piece of food. The room fell silent as everyone turned to look at you.
“Y/N!” your mom exclaimed, rushing to your side. Mingyu was right behind her, his eyes wide with concern.
“Are you okay?” he asked, his voice laced with worry. He leaned closer, his presence both comforting and overwhelming.
You managed to cough up the food and take a deep breath, feeling the heat of embarrassment wash over you. “Yeah, I’m fine,” you replied a little too quickly, trying to brush it off.
Everyone continued to look at you, concern etched on their faces. “Just a little too excited about the food, I guess,” you added, forcing a laugh, but the tension remained thick in the air.
Mingyu didn’t take his eyes off you, the worry still apparent. You could sense the underlying questions in his gaze, but you couldn’t bear to let him see how deeply his words about Leona affected you.
As the dinner continued, you tried to focus on the conversations around you, but the weight of the moment lingered in your chest. You felt torn between wanting to confront your feelings for Mingyu and the painful reality of his growing relationship with someone else.
That evening, as everyone mingled after dinner, you did your best to avoid Mingyu. You chatted with his sister and your mom, trying to distract yourself from the tension that hung in the air.
But then, as you retreated to your room for a moment of solitude, Mingyu quietly followed you inside. The door clicked shut behind him, and the moment felt charged.
“Y/N,” he said softly, his eyes searching yours. “I’ve missed you. I’ve really missed this.” He stepped closer, the sincerity in his voice making your heart race.
Before you could respond, he leaned in and kissed you gently. The warmth of his lips sent a shiver through you, and for a fleeting moment, you melted into the kiss, feeling the connection you had tried to deny.
But then, as reality hit, thoughts of Leona flooded your mind. You pulled back, your breath quickening. “Mingyu, wait,” you said, your voice trembling. “What about Leona?”
His expression faltered, confusion clouding his features. “What about her? We’ve talked, but it’s not like that with her.”
“Not like what?” you pressed, trying to hold onto your resolve. “You’re getting to know her seriously. I can’t just pretend that doesn’t matter.”
He stepped back, running a hand through his hair in frustration. “I thought we had something special, Y/N. I thought you felt it too.”
“I do,” you admitted, the honesty escaping before you could filter it. “But it’s complicated. I don’t want to be a rebound or a distraction.”
He took a deep breath, his eyes softening. “You’re not a distraction. I care about you. I thought maybe we could figure this out together.”
The conflicting emotions swirled inside you. You wanted to believe him, to step into the moment and embrace what you felt. But the thought of Leona lingered, casting a shadow over your heart.
“I need time,” you finally said, your voice barely above a whisper. “I can’t just jump back in without knowing where we stand.”
Mingyu nodded, understanding but clearly disappointed. “Okay. I’ll give you space. But know that I’m here, and I want to talk whenever you’re ready.”
With that, he stepped back, leaving you alone with your thoughts, the tension still heavy in the air. You sat on your bed, feeling the weight of the choices ahead.
You sat on your bed, the silence of the room settling around you. Mingyu’s words echoed in your mind, mixing with the confusion and uncertainty that had taken root in your heart.
You took a deep breath, trying to process everything. Part of you longed to run after him, to tell him that you felt the same way, but the reality of Leona’s presence kept you anchored in your doubts.
Later that night, you tossed and turned in bed, sleep eluding you. Thoughts of Mingyu and his kiss played on repeat, but so did the image of him with Leona, laughing and sharing intimate moments. You felt trapped between desire and self-preservation.
Eventually, you got up and made your way to the kitchen, hoping to distract yourself with a late-night snack. As you rummaged through the pantry, you heard footsteps behind you. It was Minseo, looking for a late-night treat as well.
“Can’t sleep?” she asked, her tone light.
You shrugged, forcing a smile. “Just thinking.”
“About Mingyu?” she probed, her eyes twinkling with curiosity.
You hesitated but decided to be honest. “Yeah, it’s just complicated. I’m not sure where we stand.”
Minseo nodded, leaning against the counter. “I know he cares about you. He’s been a bit different since the party. You two have a connection.”
“I thought so too,” you said, feeling the weight of your uncertainty. “But then there’s Leona. I don’t want to get caught in a messy situation.”
She considered this for a moment. “You have to do what feels right for you. But if you want to pursue something with him, don’t let someone else’s presence stop you. Talk to him.”
Her words struck a chord within you. You knew deep down that avoiding the situation wouldn’t help. You needed clarity, and the only way to get it was to confront your feelings head-on.
The next morning, you resolved to find Mingyu and have that conversation. After breakfast, you sought him out, finding him outside, leaning against the porch railing, lost in thought.
“Mingyu,” you called, your heart pounding as he turned to face you.
“Hey,” he said, his expression cautious but hopeful.
“I think we need to talk,” you said, feeling a surge of determination. “Can we sit down?”
He nodded, and you both settled on a nearby bench. The air was thick with anticipation as you searched for the right words.
“I’ve been thinking a lot about us,” you began. “About what happened the other night and what I really want.”
Mingyu listened intently, his eyes focused on you. “I want to hear it all.”
Taking a deep breath, you continued. “I can’t deny that I have feelings for you, but I also need to know what you want. I don’t want to be just a fling.”
He leaned in closer, his expression earnest. “You’re not a fling to me. I want to explore this—whatever ‘this’ is—together. But I need you to be honest with me too.”
“I am,” you replied, your heart racing. “I just need to know if you’re willing to put in the effort, especially with Leona around.”
Mingyu nodded, determination in his voice. “I’ll figure it out. I want to prioritize what we have.”
In that moment, a glimmer of hope sparked within you. It was a small step, but it felt like the beginning of something real. The road ahead was still uncertain, but at least now you were both willing to navigate it together.
You took a deep breath, feeling a sense of relief wash over you. “I want to explore this too, Mingyu. But I need reassurance that you’re committed to making it work.”
He nodded, his expression serious. “I promise you, I’ll figure things out with Leona. I don’t want to lose what we have.”
A wave of emotion surged through you. “It’s just hard seeing you with her, knowing you’re getting to know her better. I want to feel like I matter.”
“You do matter,” he insisted, reaching for your hand. “You’re not just another girl to me. You’re someone I really care about.”
His touch sent a warmth through you, grounding you in the moment. “I guess I just need some time to process everything.”
“Take all the time you need,” he said, squeezing your hand gently. “Just know I’m here when you’re ready.”
After a moment of silence, you both exchanged smiles, the tension easing between you. The conversation had lifted a weight off your shoulders, and you felt a flicker of hope for what could be.
As the days passed, you and Mingyu began to reconnect. You spent more time together, laughing and sharing stories, gradually rebuilding the bond that had felt strained. Each moment together reminded you of why you cared for him in the first place.
One evening, while watching the sunset, Mingyu turned to you, his eyes reflecting the vibrant colors of the sky. “You know, I can’t stop thinking about how lucky I am to have you in my life.”
A shy smile crept onto your face. “Really? It feels nice to hear that.”
“I mean it,” he said, his voice sincere. “You’ve always been special to me. I want to make this work, no matter what.”
You felt your heart flutter. “I want that too, Mingyu. But I still need to know you’re serious about it.”
“I am,” he said, leaning closer. “Let’s take this one step at a time. No rush. Just you and me figuring things out.”
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow around you, you leaned in and kissed him gently. It felt right, the world around you fading away as you focused on the connection you both shared. In that moment, you knew you were ready to embrace whatever came next, together.
One afternoon, as you were sitting on a park bench, you couldn’t help but voice your concerns. “Mingyu, do you think you’ve really moved on from Leona?”
He paused, looking thoughtful. “I’ve talked to her, and I made it clear that I’m not interested in pursuing anything serious.”
Your heart raced at his honesty. “What did she say?”
“She understood. I think she felt the same way, but it was hard for both of us to admit. It just… wasn’t what I want,” he replied, meeting your gaze.
You nodded, feeling a mixture of relief and lingering apprehension. “I just want to make sure we’re both on the same page. I don’t want to get hurt again.”
“Neither do I,” he said, reaching for your hand. “That’s why I’m here. I want to make this work.”
As you walked hand in hand, a sense of calm washed over you. With every step, it felt as if the past was slowly fading away, making room for something new and hopeful.
Then, one evening, Mingyu surprised you with a picnic under the stars. He laid out a blanket in a quiet spot, complete with your favorite snacks and drinks. The atmosphere was magical, the moonlight dancing on the surface of the lake nearby.
“This is perfect,” you said, smiling as you settled down on the blanket.
Mingyu grinned. “I wanted to do something special for us. I know it hasn’t been easy, and I just want you to know how much you mean to me.”
You felt your heart swell. “You have no idea how much this means to me.”
As the night went on, you shared stories and dreams, and the conversation flowed effortlessly. Eventually, the topic shifted to relationships, and you both found yourselves discussing your pasts, your fears, and your hopes for the future.
“I never thought I’d feel this way again,” Mingyu admitted, looking at you with earnest eyes. “You’ve changed everything for me.”
The sincerity in his voice sent butterflies fluttering in your stomach. “I feel the same way. I didn’t expect to care so much, but here we are.”
He moved a little closer, his gaze locked on yours. “I want to be more than just friends. I want us to be something real.”
Your heart raced as he leaned in, his lips brushing against yours in a soft, lingering kiss. In that moment, everything felt right. The world around you faded, leaving just the two of you wrapped in the warmth of your connection.
When you finally pulled back, you felt a sense of clarity wash over you. “I want that too, Mingyu.”
“Absolutely,” he replied, his eyes sparkling with excitement. “I’m all in."
As the night deepened, you both sat in comfortable silence, the sounds of the night surrounding you. Suddenly, Mingyu turned to you, his expression serious.
“Y/N, there’s something I need to tell you,” he began, his voice steady but filled with emotion.
Your heart raced, sensing the weight of his words. “What is it?”
He took a deep breath, his gaze unwavering. “I’ve loved you for a long time. Ever since we were kids. I just didn’t realize it until recently.”
You blinked, processing his confession. “You loved me? Even back then?”
He nodded, a soft smile appearing on his face. “Yeah. I remember those summers in Busan, all those moments we spent together. You’ve always meant something special to me, even when I was too young to understand it fully.”
Tears pricked your eyes as you reflected on those memories, the playful rivalry, and the undeniable connection. “I never knew. I thought it was just childish feelings.”
“It was more than that,” he insisted. “You were always the one I felt drawn to, and it’s only grown stronger over the years.”
You felt a mix of emotions—joy, disbelief, and vulnerability. “Mingyu, I never knew you felt that way. I thought I was just another friend.”
He shook his head. “You were never just a friend to me. I’ve tried to push those feelings aside, but seeing you again made me realize how much I want you in my life.”
Moved by his honesty, you reached for his hand. “I’ve developed feelings for you too, but it’s hard to shake off the past.”
“I understand,” he replied softly. “But I want to be with you. I want to explore this, no matter how complicated it gets. I’m willing to fight for us.”
Tears welled in your eyes as his words sank in. The weight of your shared history, combined with this new revelation, felt overwhelming. “I want that too, Mingyu.”
He nodded, squeezing your hand gently. “I’ve always been here for you, and I always will be.”
In that moment, surrounded by the quiet of the night, you felt a shift within yourself. The barriers you’d built began to crumble, making way for the love that had always lingered just beneath the surface. You knew this was just the beginning of something beautiful.

song recs: none:(
————————————————————————
She didn’t know how a small comment of hers escalated to a full blown argument between her and Arthur.
“Arthur you know I didn’t mean it like that!” She tries to defend herself, “Oh cut the bullshit Y/N, you know how I feel when anyone compares me to Charles, you off all people should know” he yells really upset with his sister’s comment.
“I was just joking! I didn’t Intentionally compare you to him” she sighs out, putting her hand on her face, a little distressed. “No you always have to bring this up, and it’s funny because you’re probably the biggest failure out of all 4 of us, Enzo is starting his own business, Charles is a F1 driver, I’m an F2 driver, meanwhile you can’t even pass a grade 11 exam” he says, finally finishing his rant getting the anger and frustration of his stressful week out.
Her mouth was wide open as tears were visible in his eyes, sure her and Arthur exchanged insults but never had they fought this seriously. “Why are you crying? Cant handle it when it’s directed at you?” He says, “I’m sorry Arthur” she whispered before running to her room and locking the door.
She felt guilty, she wasn’t upset at him because he gave her a taste of her own medicine but it did sting, hearing someone she genuinely looked up to call her a failure was a statement she could never shake off. Although it hurt, it also made her realize that he was right. Once Arthur was cooled down, he did apologize to the girl and she did as well, but despite saying sorry, his words rang in her head. She vowed to herself that she was going to pass this test without anyone’s help no matter what.
“Do you guys know what’s been up with your sister?” Pascale asks placing food on the table, “What do you mean Maman?” Charles asks looking up from his phone, his next race was 3 weeks away so he was happy to spend time with his family, “I don’t know, she seems really distant” their mutters, “I heard she has a big test tomorrow , maybe she’s stressed out?” Lorenzo said, “yeah perhaps, but I would appreciate if you guys could talk to her and make her feel better” she says, the two sibling nodded their heads.
Charles was walking up to his bedroom but he noticed soft music coming from his sister’s room, curiously, he walked in only to find his sister’s head resting on the desk, the dim light of the lamp was the only thing lighting her room up, her papers scattered across her desk. He softly smiled at her, he placed a sweet kiss on her head before turning the light off and letting his sister sleep.
The next morning the girl jerked up in panic, she wasn’t supposed to be sleeping, she was supposed to be preparing for her test. “I’m so fucked” she says her hands on her head. She checks the time and she quickly gets ready to go to school.
“Hey Chérie” Pascale says, “Goodmorning maman” she says rubbing her eyes tiredly, “you alright?” Pascale asks the girl in concern, “I’m good ma, I was supposed to study but I fell asleep” she says, “Oh you’ll do great my love” she says as she goes to give her daughter a tight hug, being in her mother’s arms bright the younger girl a lot of comfort, “I love you Maman, I should be leaving” she says breaking the hug, she gave her a smile before heading out the door.
The rest of the day went by in a blur, after giving her test she actually felt confident, the smile that the past few weeks stole from her made its way back on her face, now all she had to do was wait till 5:00 pm for her results. Charles texted her saying that he could pick her up to which she happily responded.
“Hi Chérie! How was your day” Charles asks, “it was alright” she responds, the siblings talked about irrelevant things the rest of the way, jamming to music, Charles even bought Y/N some food as the two shared the meal. She felt really happy that Charles wanted to spend time with her as he was such a busy man. Unfortunately for her tho, her interactions with Arthur had died down since he was never home, either with his friends or with Carla, which made her really sad.
It was 5:03 when the siblings made it home, “I’m gonna go check my score Charles, I’ll be right back!” She says, “wait! Bring your laptop here, we will check it together” Charles says wanting to be as supportive as ever to which she was more than thankful for.
“Ok…so what did you get” He asks her, the minute she looks her heart drops to her stomach, she felt nauseous, the exhaustion of so many weeks of not sleeping and eating properly catching up to her, she was upset beyond repair, and Arthur’s voice calling her a failure started echoing In her mind.
“I’m a failure” she says mindlessly, before burrying her face in her hands. “What? No you’re not” He says grabbing the laptop. “Oh my god. I’m a screwup” she says as sobs start racking her body, Charles immediately wraps his arms around the girl tightly, her face still in her hands. “I’m so dumb, I studied for nothing” she says as places her head against his shoulder.
“Y/N you’re not a failure, who told you that” Charles says caressing her hair, “It dosent matter Charles, the test results tell me everything I need to know” she says tears still running down her face, “why can’t I be more like you, or Arthur, or Enzo” she wails out, “You’re not a failure Y/N, everyone has ups and downs, you can’t base your worth on test scores, or people’s opinions” he says tightening his hold on her, she stayed quiet wanting him to continue. “You can’t be perfect all the time Chérie, and whoever told you that you’re a failure is probably a failure themselves” Charles says getting a little mad that someone (Arthur) called his sister a failure.
“But-” “no buts, You tried Y/N and that’s what matters, you didn’t give up, everyone has bad days, but you can’t let a test score hold this much power over you” he finishes, she sniffles wiping her nose, “you’re right, I’m sorry, maybe this was a bit of an overreaction” she says, feeling a bit embarrassed, “No never apologize for showing emotions, you were disappointed and that’s ok, use this disappointment as motivation, you’re going to kick that next test’s ass” he says shaking her shoulders as she lets out a laugh. “ I love you Charlie” she mumbled giving him a final hug that he reciprocated, “I love you more” he says. “Now tell me, who said you were a failure? I’ll give them a piece of my mind, I’ll get Arthur on them too” he says confidently,
“………”

DIABOLIK LOVERS More,Blood Character Popularity Poll Short Story ☽ Shuu ver.
Original title: 人気投票ショーストーリー、シュウ編 English translation by @otomehonyaku Requested by @aoi-hitomi-50 (happy early birthday to you and Shuu!) Original text can be found here.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
SUMMARY | In this short story, Yui (not mentioned by name) has been with Shuu for a while—a bittersweet feat, since the vampire is not very vocal about his feelings. One morning, Yui accidentally drops her spoon at Shuu's feet while she's having her belated dinner. Spicy events ensue, and Yui cannot help but beg for answers. Will Shuu finally tell her how he truly feels towards her?
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
—Just like that, I became your captive. Even though I could no longer go back, I…
In the small hours of the morning, I was belatedly having dinner by myself when Shuu appeared next to me out of thin air.
“Shuu? It’s unusual for you to still be up this early…” I was so surprised that the hand that was carrying my spoon to my mouth unconsciously paused in mid-air, still laden with soup..
“Yeah, well…” Shuu said curtly while he sat down across from me.
Was I only imagining it, or did he seem in really good spirits today? I thought I even heard him humming.
“...Um?”
“What?”
“Did something… happen?” I asked him gingerly.
Shuu rested his elbows on the table, still humming, and stared at me intently with a gloomy look on his face.
“Uh…?”
“...Shut up. This is Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 in G major, fourth movement. Look up the title yourself.”
I inclined my head in confusion at his profound answer. My knowledge about classical music was, unfortunately, limited. My mind drifted to the hymns we used to sing in church, and when I moved my spoon again, Shuu suddenly spoke.
“Hey… didn’t you say that I’m the one you love most in this world?
“What?!” I accidentally dropped my spoon because of his off-kilter remark. The shrill sound of the metal hitting the floor reverberated through the dining room.
“Guess I was right,” Shuu said coolly, as if it were the most normal thing in the world. He eyed me curiously as I tried to regain my composure.
“W-why, all of a sudden…”
I clumsily stood up to retrieve the spoon from under the table. When I lifted the tablecloth, I saw that it had rolled over to Shuu’s feet. It was actually quite convenient that I dropped the spoon—it gave me a way out of the conversation so that I didn’t have to see eye-to-eye with Shuu.
“Ah, there it…”
Just as I slid under the table to pick up the spoon, I heard Shuu’s voice from above me. “What are you doing?”
“Huh? Um, well… I just wanted to grab the spoon…” I said, flustered. I reached for the spoon, and then, suddenly—
“Ah?!”
“Hahaha…”
Of all the things he could have done, Shuu brought down his foot on my hand. I looked up at him with a start. Our eyes met—he held up the tablecloth on his end and leered down at me kneeling before his legs, which were spread wide.
“We’re not done talking yet. Who said you could pick it up?”
“It h-hurts…”
“Of course. That’s because I’m making it hurt.”
I’d thought he was in a good mood at first, but I was at a loss at his behaviour now. I bit my lip.
“If you want me to let go of your hand, come closer,” Shuu continued.
“Huh?”
“Didn’t you hear me? I’m telling you to come closer… and put your face between my legs.”
“...B-but…” I would die of embarrassment if I were to position my body between Shuu’s legs. Just when I wanted to tell him that, he pressed down on my hand harder.
“Are you saying you’re disobeying me… because you actually like it when I hurt you like this? I guess it’s only to be expected from a hardcore pervert like you.”
“That’s… not…!”
“Not true? Well, how about you hurry up and do as I say, then?”
I’d lost count of how many times I’d yielded to his will when he cornered me like this. It was frustrating, but… I knew it was pointless to go against him. No matter how much I protested, he always made sure he got his way in the end.
“Ah…”
Feeling defeated, I did as I was told and braced my hands on Shuu’s thighs so I could poke out my head from under the tablecloth. Then, I stuck my face between his legs, careful so as to not bump my head.
“Hahaha… You look awful.”
“You’re the one who told me to do it…!”
“Well, that’s true, but aren’t you the one who actually decided to follow my orders?” Shuu ventured, his lips curving upward in a suggestive smile. “You’re a stubborn little thing, you know. You’re so in love with me you just can’t help yourself. At least, that’s what I heard… I figured you like this kind of stuff.”
“Who told you…” My voice wavered unintentionally, my heartbeat out of control.
“You’re so red. Bullseye. It’s obviously true, so it doesn’t even matter where I heard it. Now, come closer.”
Shuu’s unusual talkativeness and assertive behaviour overwhelmed me, and I couldn’t help but obey him. No matter the things he did to me, no matter the cruel words he said to me… I was madly in love with him, just like he said.
It was not a matter of not being able to go against him. I just… wouldn’t.
“Come, hurry up… I’d rather you be grateful that I’m giving you this much attention…”
“Ah…”
“That’s it. Come closer. Actually, how about you sit on my lap?”
As if he’d seen right through me, Shuu’s voice was suddenly sickly-sweet, his gaze unrelenting in his efforts to persuade me. Despite my slight hesitation, I was internally overjoyed to hear this side of him. I simply did as I was told.
Our bodies were flush. I wriggled against him to get out of the tight space. It was incredibly embarrassing, but in the end, I managed to lower myself into Shuu’s lap. I braced my hands on his shoulders, facing him directly.
“Hehe… Look at you. I knew you could do it. Complain all you want, but I know you actually love doing naughty things like this.”
“Oh…”
“You aren’t really in the position to say otherwise, you know. Well… I’ll make you do much naughtier things. You love me more than anyone else in the world, right? I like the sound of that. As your reward… I’ll let you kiss me.”
“What…?”
“I’m too tired… so kiss me already. Come here…”
Shuu narrowed his eyes at me impatiently.
“Mm… ah, this isn’t bad after all. Your scent… the taste of you… Mmh…”
He had me completely at his mercy. Shuu’s lips found mine over and over again, deepening the kiss, from various angles… From an outsider’s perspective, it must have looked like we were sharing an intimate moment, but I was simply unable to resist his seduction. No, rather… this was…
I actually wanted this.
“Shuu…”
“What?”
“...Does this make you happy? Or… am I just a bother?” I asked him outright in between kisses. I’d been wondering about it for a while now.
Shuu brusquely lifted me off of his lap and sat me down on top of the table. “You’re putting words in my mouth now? Shut up.”
“I… I figured you’d say that…”
Maybe, in my heart, I wanted to hear such a predictable answer. Was it because I actually liked his harsh manner of speaking? My thoughts were still racing, but Shuu started stroking my hair and placed kisses on my ears.
“It’s not worth worrying about whether or not I like you… that’s not what I’m interested in. However… if anything, I’m interested in your blood. I crave you… do you understand what I’m saying? You can draw your own conclusions.”
Shuu’s sadistic voice sent incessant chills down my spine. That was all I needed to hear.
“Shuu, I love you…” The words just tumbled over my lips before I could catch myself.
Shuu chuckled. “Heh… I know. You’re such a lewd woman. I know what you want… and you think I’ll give it to you, don’t you? I’m in a good mood today, so I’ll humour you until you’re satisfied.”
I could feel Shuu open his mouth wide. I waited for his fangs to pierce my skin with bated breath. The sharp tips of his canine teeth slowly hovered over my skin. He seemed to be holding back at first, but his demeanour quickly changed—in a flash, his fangs were buried in my neck.
“Mh…”
To this day, I still didn’t know how to describe this feeling. It hurt, of course, but at the same time, there was no way to put into words the absolute assault on my senses, the numbness that spread through me.
“Ha… Mmh… What a great expression… Agh…”
“Ah…” I came dangerously close to crying out while he drank from me. I desperately pressed my lips together.
Shuu let out a low laugh. Surely, he thought I was only writhing in agony, but I didn’t mind—that wasn’t exactly wrong, either.
“You’re greedy for such a meek girl, but… this is a reward, so… I’ll let it slide this time.”
“Mmh…”
A reward… the fact that he used such a word for it was proof that Shuu knew exactly how he was making me feel, and enjoyed it. It made my heart swell with joy. It had probably been a bit tactless to beg him to confess his feelings outright. I was already more than happy that, slowly, piece by piece, he revealed himself to me.
“Let’s go over here now...”
Shuu’s hands impatiently groped at my chest. A feeling of endearment surged within me at the sight of him behaving like this.
I was completely head over heels for this man. I was far beyond saving, but at least I had some self-awareness.
My mind wandered as my fingers became entwined in Shuu’s hair, my hands stroking his head. I wanted to shout my love for him from the rooftops, but an indirect approach was more befitting of this musically inclined man.
Then, suddenly, Shuu lifted his face from where it had been buried in my chest, and told me flat-out, “I love you. Or, rather, I love you, the girl who is completely smitten with me. Got that?”
“Ah…!”
Now I really felt like I would go mad. Unable to contain my happiness, I instinctively covered my face with my hands. My cheeks were red-hot. Shuu saying the words I’d wanted to hear for so long was, without a doubt, the best reward.
It seemed that, somehow, this languid, young nobleman of the shadows had laid his claim on both my body and soul. There was no going back anymore. And yet…
—I found myself smiling, thinking that might not be so bad after all.

It was maybe five minutes ago? I can't remember exactly. I’m in the Chemistry Classroom, writing this all down. My heart is pounding right out of my chest!! I can’t think straight. You were incredible, and so beautiful.
You asked me if I was okay.
I’m sorry I didn’t respond. I just got so nervous I couldn't speak! You made me like this.
And then you touched me.
Ahh just thinking about your hand on my shoulder makes my heart race again! I’m sorry I didn’t get your name. I’ll look it up in the school files when I get home!
I hope we can see each other tomorrow.
Monday. Nineteenth of August. Time: 11:10 AM.
Wearing: School issued uniform. Plain white socks. Black shoes.
I didn’t get to see you on the weekend my dear. :(
I’m sorry. I know you must’ve missed me a lot since I wasn’t there but I had to go to the hospital. It’s ok. I’m ok so you don’t need to worry your pretty little head my dear. I promise the break wasn’t useless though! I realised what I wanted to say to you as a thank you for helping me out on Friday!! You’re so sweet and kind and you smell so good always look so amazing. I hope we can eat lunch together! Or hang out in the library? Oh that reminds me - I found out your name! Sneaking into the school and accessing the files is super easy when you know what you’re doing!!
Did you know I can donate my blood to you?
It’s amazing right!! I hope you’ll never need me to because that would mean you're hurt but if worst comes to worst you can have my blood! I’d give you all my blood if you wanted.
I’ll add more when I manage to thank you.
Time: 11:23 AM.
I did it!! Did you see? Are you proud of me? I think you are. You gave me a smile that said ‘Kyle! I’m proud of you.’ Ahhh. I’m worried I stuttered too much. I’m sorry I can’t help it. You drive me insane. Just thinking of you makes me so red in the cheeks. You’re so perfect. I really do love you, did you know.

We’re in the same Biology class! I’m sitting on the desk to your left. I don't think you’ve noticed me yet. That’s ok. You’re focused on your work. I’ll try not to disturb you.
Since I’m so close I noticed a few crumbs on your lips. It must be from breakfast. I really want to lick them off you. And you would smile and thank me for being such a considerate boyfriend. But unfortunately you might think it’d be a bit strange if I did that wouldn’t you? Seeing as it’s only been a few days since we’ve met.
It’s ok.
I don’t mind waiting.
You look so focused on your work. It’s so adorable. How is it that everytime I notice something new about you I just fall harder and harder in love with you? Have you cursed me maybe? Put a spell on me?
I want to slice open your skin and crawl inside.
Wednesday. Twenty first of August. Time: 1:14 PM.
Wearing: School issued uniform. Plain black socks. Black shoes. Science lab coat. Blue gloves.
We had Biology together again. We have it together on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. You have no idea how happy that makes me. We were doing an experiment today. A dissection. Did you know I’m really good at those? The smoothness of a scalpel is so nice. How easy it is to cut with one. It glides over the skin with such ease. You’ll never even notice the cut until it starts bleeding.
I want to taste your blood. You’d let me right? I want to lick it off your skin.
You seemed to be very concentrated on the dissection. A few of the other students were whispering about you. I think it was my fault. I’m sorry. They think I’m weird.
Not you though!
You’re good.
You’re different.
I can’t wait for us to be married.
Thursday. Twenty second of August. Time: 3:00 PM.

I’m sorry for freaking out yesterday. Apparently you had a doctor's appointment. That’s ok. You should warn me next time you decide you can’t come to school. You scared me. But that’s ok.
I’m ok.
You’re ok.
So I’m ok.
Other than that. Today is our one week anniversary of being together! Except you don’t really know that do you?
That’s okay!!
I made a cake this morning. I’m not very good at cooking so I was looking on Reddit and 4chan for help. I managed to make something! I slipped it in your locker for you to enjoy when you get home!!
I love you.

Scarlet Proposal
Wanda Maximoff x Spider-Man!Reader
a Scarlet Webs story
Life was looking pretty good for you, your universe’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. You had the love of your life, two amazing baby boys.
Not too bad for a guy bitten by a genetically engineered spider. But something was eating at you.
You found yourself looking into a pawn shop’s window one day, a diamond ring caught your eye. You loved Wanda. You wanted her to be all yours and for you to be all hers.
Tony put a stop to that as soon as he saw which ring you wanted to get her.
“Absolutely not, Web-Head!” He argued.
“Why not? I love her, she loves me, she blessed me with two beautiful babies”
He held up his own credit card and handed it to you, “go to an actual jeweler’s store. Keep love alive”
“Thanks Mr Stark” you quickly gave him a hug and ran off.
Later that night you arrived at your childhood home and yours and Wanda’s home.
Wanda was so happy to have this. All of this. You. Her little boys. A home in Queens with a kitchen full of dishes and a fridge full of food.
Wanda had an oldies song playing on the little radio in the living room. You and her had redecorated the house to have a modern 50s kind of vibe. It was perfect in her mind.
Wanda was cleaning dishes, just enjoying the peace afforded to her. And then came the sound of whining coming from the living room.
Wanda walked in to find her boys fussing in their little play pen. Barely three months old and they had a lot to say.
“Oh detkas,” Wanda whispers as she kneels down to pick both her boys up. She carefully levitates them into her arms.
“My Billy. My Tommy.” She looks in their eyes with nothing but love and adoration. “Did you have a nightmare? It’s okay. Momma is here now and Poppa will be home soon too”
She began to sing a little Sokovian lullaby to them. In truth it was also a protection spell over them. She learned a couple things from studying with your universe’s Doctor Strange.
As the song came to its end, the young witch kissed both their heads, “I love you so much”
“You got a voice the angels would be jealous of” you smiled at your gal as you came in thru the back window.
“Welcome home, detka” Wanda giggles as she walks up and kisses you softly. Her lips were like touching heaven itself.
“You made it a home,” you respond. “And that’s all I could ever want. You’re all I ever want”
“Yes” she replies
“Huh?”
Wanda giggles, “your mind races when you’re nervous, detka. But please, do it!”
You chuckle before getting on one knee and bringing out a diamond ring.
“Wanda, my Scarlet Witch, I love you so much. You made my life infinitely better. You made my house, a home. You blessed me with your presence and two wonderful children. And all I wanna do is spend my life making you smile. Wanda, will you marry me?”
“Yes!” She says thru her tears, “yes! A thousand times yes!!”
You slide the ring on Wanda’s finger and she pulls you into her lips with her magic. She kisses you repeatedly, both of you lost in the joy of the moment.
Not bad for a web slinger or a scarlet witch. A little slice of paradise carved out in your little corner of the multiverse.

Billy and Lighter
I love their dynamic so much.
Freaking Lighter of all people sees Billy as his worthy rival.
Ngl but I legit think it's because Billy is the only one he can fight without being afraid of passing out.
Given Lighter faints at the sight of blood and that Billy is an android, if Billy gets hurt he will probably leak oil, but no blood, which is perfect for Lighter.
I honestly, half-seriously thinks that's the sole reason Lighter considers Billy is rival, because he won't risk embarassing himself if he manages to hurt Billy while fighting as Billy has no blood for him to faint to.
But he also does respect him given he thinks highly of him and actually likes him like a brother too.
They playfully tease one another but you can also clearly see that Lighter has a high opinion of Billy and is also happy for him to have found happiness somewhere else too, and that's so wholesome, my heart.
I was pratically screaming of joy in my head the entire time yesterday when I speedrun the chapter (I had the day off lucky me so I used it to clear out chapter 4 entirely yeah!).
I took so many pictures, will upload them this weekend, now I need to go do that certification exam to get my people to level 50, given I need to level up pretty much everyone I have right now (Billy, Anby, Nicole, Corin, Soukaku, Ben, Anton, Seth, Jane and Lucy are the characters I currently have the game refuses me Piper and just sended me a lil army of Corins, Anby and Soukaku, now I have Anby and Soukaku to M4 and Corin to M3, though it gave me Billy M2 and Seth M2 thank god) I'll be at it for a while.
But honestly I expected Lighter to be a bit more mean toward Billy and feeling superior to him but it seems like I was worried for nothing, Lighter loves Billy and Billy loves him back, though I'm pretty sure Billy also thinks that he wasn't able to escape Lighter entirely given he now has Anby around. XD Lighter keeps forgetting things and Anby keeps forgetting the line between fiction and reality, I imagine Billy must be used to Anby because he had to spend half his time reminding Lighter of stuff all the time. XD
I swear Billy had it better than Lighter back then, given he was the Champion that means he was the strongest of the Sons of Calydon, which means he's stronger than Big Daddy, and Big Daddy is most likely the one who raised and taught Caesar how to fight, so if she didn't get the title of Champion back then, then Billy was most likely strong enough to beat her too and Big Daddy. But then he left. But he also got to meet Lighter before that, but Lighter is weaker than Caesar but still has the title for some reason, so it's a bit murky there as to why they needed 2 champions.
I think Billy wanted to leave or something happened that made him leave and then Big Daddy brought in Lighter to pick up his title but Billy sticked around long enough to make sure Lighter was up for the job given they have a good brotherly friendly rivalry relationship together so once Billy thought Lighter was ready he gave him his title and left. And then Caesar got to be the new boss of the Sons of Calydon when Big Daddy retired, and was strong enough that she was able to beat Lighter apparently.
But the title of Champion is basically being the number 2 of the gang, so if the leader isn't around it's most likely the champion calling the shots and making sure everything is alright and settling disputes and what nots, but since Lighter is pretty scatterbrained, most of the duties went to Lucy while Lighter is just now extra muscles, since Lucy is pretty much the one making sure everything is alright and being the brains of the Sons, but she clearly doesn't have the strenght to be the Champion because Lighter is the one with that title.
So I imagine Billy used to handle negotiations and relations and other stuff with Big Daddy before he left and probably used to be deadly efficient, in some parts of the story he is a lot more aware and shrewd than he presents himself most of the time, such as asking us about the H.D.D and asking why we'd bother to be proxies when we could have done so much more and get a much more lucrative job, or when he was ready to sell us out to PubSec to save the Cunning Hares and himself pointing out that the Cunning Hares could get their record cleaned if they reported a proxy, which was a very smart way of thinking given their situation back then. He is also knowledgeable about the Outer Ring, so he is way much smarter than he acts too.
I do feel like Billy is seen as a superior predecessor to Lighter and while Lighter doesn't resent Billy at all for it he also feels the need to prove himself to him in some way to live up to his "brother's" legacy.
Lucy probably didn't have much to do until Billy left and Big Daddy retired. Then she basically became the second half of the Champion title in the Sons of Calydon, being the brain to Lighter's brawn, but Billy before them had the title on his own to the point that he is still feared today by other people in the Outer Ring.
It does beg the question of what was Billy like back then, probably less happy and more brutal and having the mindset of a weapon maybe, but he was still cared for a lot.
I also like to think that Big Daddy called him Billy Kid because he honestly saw Billy as "his" kid when he bought him from a group of drifters, now I really want the whole story, if they release Big Daddy and Lighter, give them more content with Billy, I need more, Hoyo!

Who is She?
Pairing: Minho x Reader
Summary: Sparked with curiosity, Minho follows you one day. And your relationship takes a turn.
Warnings: none really, it’s a sweet imagine I like to think
——
The dining hall was a strange blend of sterile and vibrant. It was filled with chatter and the clinking of cutlery, the usual dinner routine. To you it was the most ‘normal’ atmosphere in this whole facility, the only time you felt sane. At least people weren’t shoving needles in your face, or interrogating you.
At one of the tables, the boys from maze A—Thomas, Minho, Newt, Frypan and Winston—sat together, their eyes scanning the room occasionally while engaging in conversation.
They were still trying to figure this new place out, especially the people in it. One of those people was you, confident in spirit and as sassy as can be, currently sitting with Aris. But they didn’t know his name, he was just a quiet kid to them, or your “boyfriend”, or so they thought.
“Whatever, I could take on 50 of those guards at once, they look like they’ve got no balls.” You sneered, while chewing on your food.
“Keep it low Y/N, we don’t want anyone overhearing us.” Aris warned.
“If I could set this whole place on fire, I would, but Stella won’t let me do shit. Don’t you think it’s time we try to escape?!” You huffed. Stella, one of the girls from maze B, was the bossiest girl you’ve ever came across. (aka the Gally of Maze B, before his redemption lol)
Mind you, she’s only alive to this day because you saved her from a griever…unfortunately. Sometimes you wished you left her in the maze.
Aris sighed, he too, disliked Stella. “Anyway, you should eat up. You’ve barely eaten since we got here.”
You slide your plate over to him, “Today’s your lucky day, I’m not hungry.”
He shrugged and began indulging in this second helping. Aris wasn’t much of a eater but boy, this is the first time you guys have had real food and he wasn’t going to turn down the opportunity.
“Look! An opening, I’m going to check it out.” You whispered, standing up as the guards walked away from their previous post.
“Y/N! Get back here!” Aris whisper-yelled, but you were determined to get through the other side of that door.
——
“Where is she going?” Minho observed as you made your way towards the door.
“Who?” Winston swiftly turned around, accidentally knocking over a cup of water in the process.
Newt chuckled, while Minho pressed his lips together. “Sorry, Minho!” Winston exclaimed, grabbing napkins.
“You’re alright man. I’ll be back.” Minho gave Winston a reassuring back tap, before leaving to find the bathroom. Or, maybe he just wanted to follow you.
——
You managed to get past the doors. This was a way easier attempt than anticipated, you thought to yourself but shrugged it off.
However, you couldn’t help but feel like you were being followed. Regardless, you didn’t care, the only thing that mattered was finding out what these people were really behind.
You halted your tracks, observing your surroundings. It seemed to be a never ending grey hallway with millions of doors, great, that makes it sooo much easier for you doesn’t it!
As Minho turned a corner, he bumped into you, nearly knocking you over.
“Woah, watch it!” You exclaimed, steadying yourself.
“Sorry, I didn’t see you there!” Minho was quick to defend himself.
You furrowed your brows, the newcomer from maze A. “Were you…following me?”
Minho scoffed, “Pft of all the people here, why’d you think I’d follow you.”
You shot him a look, “Oh come on, I’ve seen you newbies. You guys watch Aris and I like a hawke.”
One of the doors dinged, about to open, so Minho quickly reacted by pulling you by the waist into one of the tiny cracks in the hallway walls, adequate enough to fit two people.
“Stop touching me!” I grunted, pushing his hand away.”
“I’m barely even on you!” He retorted.
“Why were you following me anyway?!” I whispered, “You shouldn’t be here.”
“I had to use the bathroom! I’m wet if you can’t tell!” He responded, but it came out a bit too wrong. Minho immediately regretted how that sounded.
You held back your laugh, “That’s what she said.”
With a tiny bit of banter, Minho managed to break down your walls, all too quickly, something you weren’t really used to.
“So what are you up to anyway? Sneaking around like you own the compound.” Minho smirked, while keeping an eye out for any guards.
“I’ve seen them move bodies in and out of here like clockwork. Aris and I don’t trust these people.”
Minho’s eyes narrowed. “Oh yeah? You should get back to your boyfriend then. I don’t think he’d be pleased to know you were in a confined space with another man.”
You rolled your eyes, “Oh, no. Aris isn’t my boyfriend. He’s more like a brother to me.”
There was a moment of silence as you stared at each other, the air thick with tension. Before either of you could say more, you heard footsteps. A guard was coming your way.
Minho quickly grabbed your hand and pulled you into what seemed like a nearby closet, closing the door behind you. You stood close together in the dark, barely daring to breathe.
The guards footsteps echoed past you and faded away, earning an exhale from the both of you.
“That was close,” You whispered, “and wow here we are in another ideal place to be in right now.” Boy, you are one sarcastic girl, Minho thought.
“I know I love it here.” Minho’s breath warm against your neck.
In the confined space, your proximity made every small movement noticeable. He could feel the heat radiating off you, and your scent was intoxicating. You looked up at him, your eyes reflecting the dim light filtering through the cracks in the door.
“Why did you really follow me?” You asked, voice soft but filled with curiosity.
Minho hesitated, then decided honestly was the best approach. “I don’t know. I guess I was curious. You seem like someone we could trust, Thomas doesn’t trust the people here either.”
“Thomas?”
“Grey shirt, brown hair?” Minho described him, hoping I would recognise him.
“Ah yes, I saw his little incident yesterday. Attempting to fight a guard in the dining hall is daring, he’s got some balls.”
“Sure does.”
“You seem to know the place really well, we could learn a thing or two from you.” Minho added.
You smiled, a genuine one that made Minho’s heart skip a beat, “Well, maybe we both have a lot to learn about each other.”
Minho could see the flicker of something more in your eyes, a spark that mirrored his own feelings. He leaned in slightly, feeling the magnetic pull between them.
Before anything could happen, the reality of your situation came crashing back. You couldn’t afford to get distracted, not with so much at stake.
“We should get back,” you whispered, though your eyes said you didn’t want to move.
Minho nodded reluctantly, “Yeah, we should before anyone finds us here.”
You carefully slipped out of the closet, the hall now silent and empty. As you made your way back together, Minho couldn’t help but feel a new sense of determination.
You were in this together now, and he would do whatever it took to protect you and figure out a way out of her.
“Yo, Aris!” You called out as you re-entered the dining hall. Aris gave you a questioning glance, as you appeared with Minho, you simply nodded, signalling that you were fine.
Minho returned to his friends, who eyed him curiously.
“What happened?” Thomas asked.
“Just…getting to know our new friend.” Minho said, glancing back at you. You were already back at your table with Aris, but you shot him a quick, knowing smile.
Minho then gestured for you and Aris to come join them which you did.
“Don’t be shy, you can sit next to me if you’d like.” Minho smirked, gesturing to the empty seat beside him.
You scoffed, “As if.” But you bit your lip, hiding back a smile.
“Careful, her boyfriend might not like that.” Newt warned, glancing at Aris to see his reaction.
“Oh no no, we’re not a thing.” Aris was quick to respond, “She’s like a sister to me.”
You chuckled, “Besides, I’m more into leaders, I like a guy who can lead.”
“Someone like me?” Minho teased.
You rolled your eyes, “Yeah you wish. Who was the one leading you around just now?”
“Uh actually, if I can recall, it was me who had the reigns.” He hummed, smiling when he saw you get all worked up.
“Stand down maze boy, this is my terrain. You guys want a way out, Aris and I can help you.”
“Alright, so what’s the plan?” Thomas agreed, leaning in closely.
Minho shot you a smile, and you returned it, thought a bit cocky, he did manage to grow on you or whatever.
And for the first time, you actually felt a spark of hope. With extra manpower, you might be able to break out of this place.
You might be in a dangerous situation, but at least you weren’t alone. And Minho knew deep down, that together, you could face whatever came next, for once, everyone at that table felt hopeful.
The safe haven felt closer, and so did your friendship with Minho. But could this friendship blossom into something more, you often pondered.
Perhaps so.
You smiled, watching as Minho lead the next discussion. You could get use to this, it felt nice to be relaxed and not take the lead for once.

Regina George x Fem!Reader: NYC
I think we’re all obsessed with Renee Rapp as Regina George …
Y/N = Your Name (I will use this sparingly)
I am trying second-person pov for the first time, don't be mad if it sucks.
hehehehehe
Regina's POV
I think the only person I've ever loved is Y/N. I always thought I would know what real love was when it happened to me, but I realized it too late. I lost Y/N because we just experimented with each other, didn't want to commit to dating or coming out, moved to different schools, made new friends, and graduated high school. I texted her one time and it was to tell her congratulations on graduating and she texted me the same. She even moved houses, which I didn't know until I drove there today and there was a new family there and they had no idea where the previous owners lived. I tried calling her, but it gave me her voicemail and I don't even know what to say. Where is she?! And on top of all of this, Mom is taking me to New York City because I've been moping. I don't want to travel.
Your POV ... 1 week later...
You're working at a coffee shop and you smile. You have been so happy in New York. Dad had us move out to Brooklyn to take over his brother's coffee shop and he's been really great. He's grown so much in the role of manager and owner. You work as the assistant manager on weekends and you're in charge of events. You have fun.
It's Saturday and the day has been buzzing with orders. You have never seen so many lattes made or bagels ordered. Truly, this is insane. To promote the business, you had done a 2-hour 50% deal on lattes and your regular customers went CRAZY then they told their friends. Dad would be proud.
You are sitting on your phone eating your bagel during lunch reading your book when you hear a familiar voice order an iced oat milk latte and a bagel with strawberry cream cheese. That's so fetch. You exclaim, "Regina George, is that really you?" She whips her head around to face you and her jaw drops. You say, "You should join me if you're not busy." She nods, grabs her order, and sits in the seat across from me.
You exclaim, "I had no idea you were in New York City." She snaps, "I had no idea you moved. You never told me." You exclaim, "You could've asked one of those times you called me and didn't leave me a voicemail." She asks, "I never knew what to say. If you got those, why didn't you call me back?" You answer, "I didn't know what to say either. I could've told you about the sudden move and made you plan a visit, but I guess I never thought you would agree after we stopped talking... I always felt bad about that. I didn't want to stop being around you. It was just easier at the time than well doing what we were doing." She nods and says, "I missed you." You reply, "I missed you too. My lunch break is over in like 5 minutes, but would you want to hang out while you're in town? My dad made plans for him and me tonight, but maybe tomorrow we can hang out." She replies, "I will have to check with my mom, but I think tomorrow would work. Do you promise to answer if I call?" You nod and answer, "Yes." You both smile at each other and it's like times are like they were in high school. You were happy in high school when you were with Regina, but you never knew if what you did together would lead to something real. You felt like a second choice and it was alienating. Breaking off your fling with her was good for you because it let you be independent at your new school and it let you start to figure out who you were a little. You were bisexual and you were proud.
That night, as you finish getting ready for dinner, you finally ask your dad, "Who are we meeting for dinner? You've been very secretive about this whole night. You just said to dress nice. You have me scared." He hugs me and says, "You'll enjoy tonight. I have a 50/50 chance of being right about that. You look gorgeous tonight, let's head out. We don't want to be late." We leave our house and we make our way to this pizza place that we love that has this fancy upper floor overlooking the piano and more seating. Honestly, it just looks fancy. The food is not bad prices at all, haha. Dad just likes to romanticize our pizza dinners.
We take our normal seats and you watch the pianist play Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik. You know this song on flute and you love it.
Dad exclaims, "Sweetie, our guests are here. Say hi." You turn around and you see Regina with her mom. You gasped and said, "Hi, I'm so confused. Why are you here? Dad, I saw her in our coffee shop today. Did you plan this?" Regina says, "I thought it was weird that we were meeting people in the city because we know no one. Well, except you two and even I just found that out today." Dad says, "Sit down and relax, ladies. Mrs. George and I talked a few weeks back about how it was weird you two hadn't seen each other in a while. We planned this trip when Mrs. George said that Regina had been moping around the house for months and her last happy memory was with dear Y/N." WTF?!? She hasn't been happy since I was hanging out with her?! Regina asks, "How long have you two been talking? Does dad know, mom?" Mrs. George says, "Honey, this is different than that time with John from down the street. This was just a friendly parent-to-parent talk about our kid's well-being. I don't romantically see Y/N's dad. We talk like once a month about finances because I don't get it and your dad hates talking to me about them." lol ... family drama ... Regina slouches and crosses her arms angrily. Shit, she is not happy about something. You used to be so good at reading her. You're out of practice.
Pizza arrives at the table and we all eat while making small talk. Regina refuses to look anyone in the eyes, she just keeps her head down and keeps quiet. You hate this. You want to talk to her, not our parents right now. You nudge her and ask, "Do you want to hang out with just me after this? I could try cheering you up if you'd let me." She answers, "Sure," before turning back to her pizza.
Once pizza winds down, you exclaim, "Hey Dad and Mrs. George, Regina and I are going to go out for a bit alone after this. We will be safe and we will let you know where we go and when we plan to go home." Mrs. George says, "Oh before you leave, I should say, Regina's suitcase is in your dad's car in case she wants to spend the night at your place." Regina snaps, "I'm right here, mom. You're talking about me like I'm not in the room." Mrs. George snaps, "I'm sorry Miss Didn't Say Anything During Dinner and Is Rude To People and Stares At Pizza." OH FUDGE ... You grab Regina's hand pulling her away from our parents and outside the restaurant.
Outside, we start walking and you realize you are still holding Regina's hand. She probably doesn't even want to be holding your hand. It's not like this is a date. You drop it and ask, "Are you in the mood for gelato?" She answers, "Sure." You reply, "Great, let's go. It's like 2 blocks from here."
We walk in comfortable silence until we get there. I open the door for Regina and she thanks me as she walks inside. My friend, Sam, is behind the counter and Sam exclaims "Y/N!!! It's good to see you again!!! Guess what?" You ask, "What's up, Sam?" Sam answers, "Josh asked me out!!" You smile and say, "OMG!!!! You'll have to tell me all about it. I'm so happy for you. This is Regina, by the way. And Regina, this is Sam." Sam waves and says, "Wow Regina, you're really pretty." Regina replies, "Thanks. Could I get a small raspberry gelato?" Sam nods and I say, "And could you get me a small dulce de leche gelato?" Sam nods and asks, "So Regina, are you in town visiting Y/N? She has been rather lonely without you. It's always about you, you know." Regina half-smiles and says "What kind of things did she say exactly?" Sam answers, "She said you were pretty and you are. She said you were her best friend for a long time and you both really liked spending time together. She was scared to commit and she wasn't ready to come out. She said you were her crush for a bit in high school. She said..." You quickly interrupt and say, "I think that is quite enough, Sam. How much is the gelato?" Sam answers, "$8.72." You pay for the gelato then sit in a booth away from Sam. You hear the door open and see two families walk in with little kids. At least Sam will be busy and won't pay attention to us for a bit.
You exclaim, "I know tonight's dinner was terrible, but I'm hoping I can still turn around your night and make it better." Regina asks, "Is it true?" You ask, "Is what true? You'll have to be more specific." Regina mumbles, "The crush on me." You say, "Yes, it is true. I liked you a lot when we were experimenting together and then we broke it all off. It was tough and I had to heal from that heartbreak, but I didn't realize it was heartbreak until I came to the realization that I romantically liked you. And then you were gone and then we graduated and I had to move and the timing was never right. But, I do know three things: I am bisexual and I like you a lot and the feelings never went away." She smiles widely and says, "God, if we weren't by your nosy friend and in a gelato shop, I'd kiss you." You ask, "So. the feeling is mutual then?" She answers, "Yes... I am lesbian though." You reply, "That's pretty cool." She laughs.
After gelato, we hold hands and walk to the Brooklyn Bridge. We were close to it anyway, so why not walk there?!? Haha! Besides, during the day there are tons of vendors, and at night, there are just lots of cars and busy people. You love living in the city. The city also looks beautiful all lit up at night.
As we stand at this pier looking out at the water, Regina asks, "Can we have that kiss now?" You turn to her and answer, "Yes." You kiss and it's like you're the city being lit up at night. You feel bright and you see your future.

THAT’S THAT ME ESPRESSO (TTME)
Chapter 32- Flashback mary ☕️
*This is a flashback chapter to Y/n and Scara’s high school days*
It was homecoming day, not any homecoming, but the last one you were ever going to experience in high school. It was your senior year and you wanted to make the most out of your last year of high school.
Your morning started out normal. The group chat was buzzing with excitement. They were also happy that Scaramouche was going to be hanging out with the group after being away for a while. He was always with his other group of friends, the ones you tried keeping away from.
You knew that Scaramouche was nothing like his friends. It was just upsetting that he wouldn’t publicly stick up for you. Despite all that, you and Scaramouche still called every night and shared things about each other’s day. He was good company to have.
The weeks leading up to the dance you both didn’t have a date. The two of you teased each other and called each other bitchless for not going with anyone but friends. However, without either one asking, it was pretty much unspoken that you two were going together. Only nobody knew, maybe besides Hu Tao and Childe. You two were also going in a group of friends. Nevertheless, as long as you hung out with him throughout the night, you didn’t really care.
You got ready at Hu Tao’s house. You both were running a bit behind schedule, mostly Hu Tao making both of you late. The two of you were supposed to meet up with the group to take photos but that didn’t happen.
When the two of you finished getting ready it was already 7:15, homecoming started at 7:00.
“Hu Tao we are so late.”
“It’s fine! The others are barely on the way there now. Even if the line is long to get in, we can just cut with people we know.”
Hu Tao’s time blindness made you concern but you shrugged it off. Her parents were driving you there. There weren’t any official plans on what to do after but someone is most likely throwing a party. Nobody knew who yet.
Hu Tao was wearing a short but simple burgundy dress. Her hair was styled into her iconic pigtails and you thought she looked very pretty. However, she got some new black high heels and can tell she was struggling to walk.
“Are you ok?” You asked as the two of you descended down the stairs.
“Yeah I just need to break into these shoes more,” Hu Tao held onto your hand and the staircase railing to prevent herself from falling.
“By the end of the night you’re going to take those things off.”
“I hope not. These were expensive and I want to make them last.”
You playfully shook your head and got to the bottom of the stairs. Her parents were already waiting for you both.
“Hu Tao you look so gorgeous! Y/n you look amazing as well!” Her mother complimented you both.
You thank her and noticed Hu Tao’s dad taking out his phone for pictures.
Hu Tao tried protesting against it saying how late you guys were but eventually gave in. After a few photos, her mom was driving you both to the school. Teyvat High School only booked venues for winter formal and prom. Homecoming was always at the school. Luckily, it was an outdoor school.
“Is anyone there already?” You turned to ask Hu Tao.
She was texting the group chat so you didn’t bother to look at your phone yourself, “Lumine said they’re all in line already. They’re at the back and the line is long apparently,” She replied back.
“I hope they play good songs this year. Last year was kinda boring.”
“That’s because last year you went with some complete weirdo.”
Hu Tao wasn’t wrong. The year prior, you were talking with someone and you two went to homecoming together. You both left an hour in because his friends wanted to go somewhere else. You wished you had stayed longer but you didn’t want to complain. You two never dated because you soon found out he only wanted you because you were a trainee. Instantly broke it off.
You two finally arrived and it already 7:50. It was dark out but you could still see the number of students in line. There was security watching the line as well to make sure that nobody was cutting.
When you two got out of the car you heard some people gasp and point at Hu Tao. Sometimes you forget she’s a rapper under a big company. You quickly spotted your friends and waved to them. Only Lumine noticed and grabbed the other’s attention. They motioned for the two of you to come into line with them but a guard was watching. Fortunately, he spotted some other people trying to cut into the line and started to walk towards them.
You and Hu Tao wasted no time merging into line where your friends were and acted like you were there the entire time.
The group was all there, Cyno, Kazuha, Aether, Thoma, Lumine, and last but not least, Scaramouche.
You and him made eye contact and he looked really good. Granted, he was wearing a normal suit that looks like every other guy there but he was wearing the dark purple tie you said he should get.
“The fuck are you staring at?” Scaramouche glared at you with a dirty look.
“Not your ugly ass,” You move away rolling your eyes, “I was looking at how pretty Lumine is.”
Lumine was wearing a blue dress that complimented her figure. She reminded you of Cinderella with her blonde hair.
“You barely got into line and you two are already fighting,” Kazuha sighed.
“You two need to settle this feud in bed,” Cyno laughed.
“I would rather listen to Hu Tao’s shitty song on repeat than ever get into bed with Y/n.”
“Who are you calling a shitty song?” Hu Tao yelled back.
“Ok! Time for shots!” Aether interrupts. He swung his arms around you and Hu Tao’s shoulders, handing you guys a small shot bottle of Tito’s.
“There was more but we pre gamed in the car and could only save you one bottle each,” Aether explained.
“Maybe if you weren’t so late you could’ve gotten more,” Scaramouche chimed in.
“You sound obsessed,” You grumbled cracking open the bottle. You made sure to turn away from the security guards so you don’t get caught.
As you were chugging you felt the burning sensation of the vodka pour down your throat. Alcohol never tasted good, you just wanted to loosen up more.
Cyno thought it would be funny to slightly tilt the bottle as you were drinking, causing the remaining alcohol to spill all over your mouth and onto your outfit.
You began to choke and cough.
“What the fuck!” You yelled in between coughs. Your throat was stinging and becoming increasingly dry. You were hoping to get inside soon so you can grab a water bottle.
Only Cyno and Aether bursted out laughing, everyone else tried holding back their laugh. You wiped your mouth and tried wiping down the wet spots on your clothes. Not even inside and your clothes were already ruined.
You guys were about to head inside, quickly you and Hu Tao threw the tiny bottles into a bush. The school would probably just find it later.
After getting checked in, you immediately went over to a table to grab some water to soothe your throat. This time, you drank away from your friends.
“Where should we go first?” Thoma pipes up. The school had a big budget and the student council spent all of it on a DJ, food trucks, gaming trucks and photo booths.
“Let’s go in the mosh pit!” Hu Tao suggested, pointing to the crowd of people in the distance.
This was high school and their version of a mosh pit is just jumping up and down while also shoving people when their favorite song plays. It’s fun for a little but you feel like you’ll get trampled after a while.
“I’ll sit this one out. I want to take photos first before sweating off my makeup,” Lumine says, sitting down at a nearby lunch table.
“Yeah I’ll wait till after we take photos, my mom will get pissed if I look terrible in them,” Thoma replies, sitting down next to Lumine.
Kazuha sits down on the opposite side of the table, “Mosh pits aren’t really my thing. We’ll wait here until you guys are done, then we can go to the photo booths. Is that ok with you guys?”
“Boo you’re no fun! But ok we’ll only be in there for a little bit,” Hu Tao replies as she sets downs her purse onto the table, “Watch my bag.”
The rest of you make your way over to the crowd.
Fein by Travis Scott began to blast through the speakers. You saw people rushing in and took it as a sign to do the same. Luckily, Hu Tao didn’t mind shoving people out of the way. She grabbed your hand and all of you guys made your way in.
Despite holding onto her hand, it still felt like you were going to fall. You were jumping up and down to the song but there were more people coming in and bumping into you. The mixed smell of sweat and Dior Sauvage made the air feel hot and heavy.
You were going to need a break soon. However, the next song being Family Ties by Kendrick and Baby Keem didn’t want to make you stop. More and more people were coming in and you were getting pushed around.
Your grip from Hu Tao was slipping and it really did feel like you were going to fall. You quickly grabbed onto the arm of the nearest person, which happens to be Scaramouche.
He looked at you and noticed your predicament, “Dumbass,” He muttered, rolling his eyes as he interlocks his fingers with yours.
You couldn’t help but smile and continue jumping. His grip was a lot stronger than Hu Tao’s which made you feel more safer. You weren’t worried about anyone noticing since everyone was occupied with not getting trampled.
After a few more songs played, you felt a tap on your shoulder. Your breath hitched thinking you had been caught. You slowly turned around and felt relief when you realized it was only Cyno. Granted, he didn’t know anything about you two but it would’ve been worst if it was a stranger.
“Hey, let’s take a break Aether doesn’t feel well and I don’t want him throwing up.”
You nodded and whispered to Scaramouche who also nodded and stopped jumping. You held Cyno’s hand as he led you two out of the mosh pit, like the buddy system.
As the three of you got out, you felt the cold night air against your skin. It felt nice after being in that stuffy environment. You didn’t realize how much you were sweating and panting. You looked down and noticed you were still holding Scaramouche’s hand.
He scoffed and quickly pulled his hand back.
Whatever.
You made your way back to the table and saw Aether with his head down and groaning.
“Holy shit are you ok?” You asked concerned for your friend.
Aether simply put his thumbs up in the air. He wasn’t too good with tight spaces. You sat down next to him and Lumine. She was the more famous twin but you were never really close with her. She was always away filming and doing photoshoots. You sometimes wonder how he can be related to her.
“Can you get up already? You’re so dramatic.” Lumine sighed, pinching her nose bridge, “The photo booth line is going to get longer the more we wait.”
“Is that anyway to treat your brother?” Aether mumbled, he looked up to glare at his sister before putting his head down again.
“I should’ve eaten you in the womb,” Lumine shot back.
After a few minutes, Aether was feeling less nauseous and was ready to take photos.
Fortunately, there was no line and all eight of you squished your way into the photo booth. It was quite spacious but it did feel tight being all there together. There were props and signs laid out inside and everyone took something.
The booth only took four photos. In the first photo, you and Thoma had your arms around the other person’s shoulders and pointing at each other. In the second photo, you did a simple peace sign. In the third photo, you were hugging Hu Tao.
In the last photo, Kazuha accidentally elbowed Scaramouche which prompted him to almost fall. Due to everyone cramped up next to each other, you all came down with him. The photo captured everyone trying not to fall and nobody looked their best, except Thoma. He was the only one who looked at the camera and posed.
Everyone got out and waited for the photos to be printed.
“I apologize to the person’s ass who I grabbed while trying to keep balance,” Aether says, scratching the back of his head.
“I think that was mine dude,” Cyno replied laughing.
You rolled your eyes, “Scara is so weak that he stumbled when Kazuha barely tapped him.”
“See how weak I am when I punch you in the face,” Scaramouche grumbled as he took the photos from the machine, handing them to each person.
You looked down at the photo collage as you all began walking back to your table. You smile fondly at what would only be a distant memory in the future. Your senior year had only started but it will quickly end before you could even blink.
You didn’t want to miss out on the good memories like this one.
.
.
.
Everyone had split up after a while to do different activities. You all agreed to meet up when the night ended but for now, you lost everyone and didn’t know what to do. You had just came out from the mosh pit and your feet were hurting too much to continue. You decided to take a small breather somewhere far away from everyone.
You went up the stairs that leads to one of the buildings that had a balcony where you can see the football field. You would come up here when you were bored with class and wanted to walk around.
Only this time, it appears you weren’t alone. You noticed a familiar figure already looking out. One of which you were hoping to get alone time this night.
He heard your footsteps and turned around to look at you.
“Can’t you see I was here first?”
“Can’t you see that I don’t give a fuck?” You scoffed and stood next to him. He didn’t move from his position.
Scaramouche sighed and took out a pack of cigarettes.
“How did you get those pass the security?”
“I have my ways,” He said while putting one in his mouth and casually lighting one.
He took a long drag and exhaled, making sure to clear out the smoke with his hand. He silently passed it onto you.
You took it from his hand, “If we get caught we’re getting suspended.”
“Maybe they’ll suspend you but definitely not me. I’ll just have my agency contact the school.”
“You and your fame.”
“Something you wouldn’t know about.”
You scoffed, “In case you forgot, I was on that idol survival show. People still know me.”
“Yeah but who didn’t debut.”
You stood silent. It was pointless ever getting into a petty argument. He knew how to silence you every time.
You only took out your phone in response.
“Let’s take a photo together!”
“Hell no. Don’t you have the one we took with the others?”
“Yeah but I want one with just us. Let’s take a 0.5 photo.”
“No.”
“Too bad we’re taking one anyways.”
Scaramouche rolled his eyes and got closer next to you. He looked straight at the camera as you took the photo. When you were done you looked at the photo.
“See how cute we look!”
He side eyed you, “I’m the one that looks good. Not so sure about you though.”
“Fuck you.”
Scaramouche tried to hold in his laughter as he looked away from you.
“Kidding. You look better than normal,” Scaramouche says, putting out the shared cigarette and throwing it off the ledge.
You weren’t sure if that was a compliment or an insult.
“Thank you? Uh, you too I guess,” You huffed, leaning forward against the railing.
There was a moment of silence shared between the two of you as you both stared at the football field in front of you. The distant sound of music only filled the air. It was a comfortable silence and you wished it would last forever, staying by his side like this.
It was cold up on the balcony and the night breeze caused you to shiver a bit. Scaramouche of course noticed.
“Are you cold?”
“No.”
“No,” Scaramouche mimicked your voice, “Yet you’re starting to shake more than a tweaker waiting for his next fix.” He said in his regular voice as he took off his suit jacket and put it over your shoulders.
“I didn’t ask for your jacket,” You tried protesting. You secretly enjoyed it though, that’s why you held it closer to you.
“Do you want it or do you want to continue being cold?”
You didn’t respond.
“Exactly,” Scaramouche huffed in annoyance.
You enjoyed moments like these. Ones where it was the two of you alone and you can talk freely like this. It made you upset whenever it ended, because you knew he would go back to ignoring you in the hallways.
You were getting lost in your thoughts and his words from earlier kept coming back.
“Who didn’t debut.”
It was silly to get stuck on that. You knew the votings were rigged, everyone did, but it still hurt. You gave it your all and worked hard to debut but it wasn’t enough.
You had gotten back to school and it was all anyone could talk about. You’ve gained sympathy and comfort from others, but it didn’t make the failure any less painful.
It made you realize how things can come and go so quickly. That’s why you had a bittersweet feeling about being in your last year of high school. It has been a rough four years and you were glad to not be able to see some of your peers, but what about your friends?
The friends that have been supporting you through everything. They’re going to be studying in different universities. It’s going to be hard to keep in contact and you’ll be trying to train your ass off to debut.
“Do you think after the school year ends, we’ll still be in contact with each other?” You piped up, breaking the silence to look over at him.
He hesitated for a moment before replying, “I don’t see why we wouldn’t.” Not sparing a glance at your direction.
“It’s just your popularity is rising and if I don’t end up debuting then it’ll be hard to keep in contact with you. It’s easier to continue seeing each other if we’re both in the entertainment industry,” You managed to say, looking away from him this time.
“You’re worried I’ll forget about you?”
“You’re making me sound desperate,” You mumbled, hint of annoyance in your tone.
“The company would be stupid if they only keep you as a trainee forever. You’re not untalented and you put in the effort. Some look helpless on stage, but not you.”
You couldn’t help but smile at his words. Despite Scaramouche being an asshole half the time, he knows when to be sorta nice.
You two often shared things that were troublesome. It was almost like the other one knew what the other one was feeling at the moment. It was something special you two had. Even when one of you was being emotionally constipated, you both still tried your best to give advice to the other person.
“Though, you can work on your dancing skills,” He quickly said.
Never mind. Moment ruined.
You smacked him on the back of his head. He always humbles a person after giving a rare compliment. Most of the time it’s backhanded.
Scaramouche was about to say something but the two of you heard footsteps coming from behind you guys. You both froze not wanting to turn around, afraid it was someone that would freak out if they saw the two of you together.
A familiar voice rang through both of your guy’s ears, “Y/n? Scara?”
You both turn around to see Thoma standing there. You sigh a wave of relief when you see your friend. Though, he’s definitely confused on the close proximity you and Scaramouche are sharing, but doesn’t say anything.
Instead he says, “It’s almost over. Let’s head back to the car. Do you guys need a ride?”
You both nod in unison and begin to follow Thoma back. You silent give Scaramouche his jacket back. It’d be a scandal if people caught you with him like this.
The three of you silently make your way to the parking lot where the others were. You didn’t realize how many of you there were until you thought about the car situation.
“Ok there’s no way I’m fitting all of us into my car,” Thoma sighed pointing at his suv.
“Too bad, make it happen. You have a big enough car. Two people can sit in the trunk, three people in the backseat but someone has to sit on someone’s lap, and the other person sits in the front,” Cyno suggested.
Everyone agreed right away, however, Thoma hesitated before agreeing begrudgingly. That’s how you ended up sitting in the trunk with Scaramouche. Lumine, Hu Tao, Aether and Cyno were all in the backseat. Aether sitting on Cyno’s lap and Kazuha in the front seat.
Before you even left the parking lot, you guys were discussing on where to go.
“I heard Keqing is throwing an after party,” Cyno mumbled, barely heard from Aether sitting on him.
“Dude I swear if I feel something hard underneath me,” Aether grumbled, clearly him sitting on Cyno’s lap was not his first choice.
“I can say the same for you,” Cyno argued back.
You didn’t know how you and Scaramouche ended in the trunk. It was pretty spacious given the car model so it wasn’t too uncomfortable and you both had leg room. You just sat on opposite sides from each other.
“Can we get food? I’m lowkey hungry as fuck right now,” Kazuha mentioned. While everyone was arguing on who sits where, he silently hopped in the passenger seat.
Everyone agreed and that’s how you ended up at In-N-Out at midnight. It wasn’t packed but you guys stood out due to your attire. It’s not like you guys gave a fuck though.
After you all finished with your food, you guys decided to go to the park since you didn’t want the night to end. It was around two in the morning and you were sitting on a bench watching your friends mess around at the playground.
It was nice to see everyone goof around. However, it brought you back to that bittersweet feeling you noticed before. Seeing their smiles and hearing their laughter. There's this warmth in your heart, knowing how much joy you all bring to each other. At the same time, there's a tinge of sadness because you realize this might be one of the last times you’re all together like this. It's your last year before you all go your separate ways, and you can't help but cherish every moment, knowing that soon, things will change.
After a while, everyone got tired and Thoma dropped everyone home. You put the photo booth photo on your dresser, next to the photos you had of your friends.
.
This is the memory you had just remembered as you stare at that photo. The photo of your friends at your last homecoming. Setting the photo down, you look back at your phone. You haven’t contacted your friends since school has ended, even though you promised. Things have gotten busy but you miss them dearly. One day, you’ll have a reunion and it’ll be like the old times.

Chapter 2
Masterlist
Mom keeps talking about how happy she is that we finally spend time together after so many years, just like the old times.
She grabs my face. “Now the 9 years of difference are almost imperceptible.”
“Mom! I don't look that old!” Lewis choked with his fruit.
“You wish you looked like this at my age.” He sat straight. I was about to speak but mom interrupted us.
“Keep eating, keep eating.”
This week I'll be at our parents house, so Lewis can have a few days off from me.
A Wednesday night mom entered the kitchen where Jewel keeps at my side.
“How is the project going?” I'm buried in papers, madeleines and tea.
I scoff and take my glasses. “Good? I don't know, I never imagined this amount of responsibility.”
Mom serves a cup of tea, and sits next to me. “He said you're doing pretty well.” I scoff and watch the papers and empty pens, picking up all the things so we can talk calmly.
“Next is?” I pat Jewel and gave her a piece of carrot which reject at the second bite. Lewis and his idea about trying to become her vegetarian, it's useless.
“Miami.”
I’m melting like ice, if I thought the first day we arrived was hot I was clearly short about how hot the day of the race is.
“How much weight will he lose?” I asked the doctor who weighs Lewis and George.
“Between 4 or 5 kilos.” I opened my eyes. “Maybe 6.”
“SIX?! Oh my word!” Lewis laughed and set properly his race suit one more time. “Drive safe, all right?” He nods and kisses my cheek.
I walk to the hospitality area, 50 minutes until the race begins although I see Checo chatting with Yuki, a casual talk in the way both are laughing. This time Red Bull is in front of Mclaren and Mercedes next to them.
Checo saw me and waved his hand, so I walked closer to greet him properly.
“Hi. Yuki have you met Y/N?” Yuki made a small bow and I did the same. “She is Lewis sister.”
Yuki opened his eyes, like he just knew a big secret.
“How are you?” Checo asks me, I move my hand trying to have a fresh breeze of air.
“Melting, but I'm fine.” Both giggle.
Yuki is the first young driver I officially met, beside George of course. “It's your first time in the paddock?”
Checo saw me with pressed lips. “Kind of.” It’s a half honest answer. “I'm dying to be in Japan, that definitely will be my first time.”
Yuki smiles as we get involved in a deep talk about food and places I should visit in the few days we'll be there.
“It’s hot, definitely hot.” We turn around and see Max walking right to us. “Morning Yuki, Y/N.”
I don't want to be rude with Yuki so I cut the conversation as friendly as I can. “I count on you for that, all right?”
Yuki nodded and I said goodbye to them bumping fists with Checo.
“What did I say this time?” Max says it almost right to my face. Checo laughs and pat his teammate back.
“You’re on the darkside, mate.” Max bluffs but raises his voice as I walk away.
“FINE! IT DOESN'T MATTER!” I roll my eyes when I enter the hospitality building.
A tricky race, Lewis fought until the last lap but just reached the sixth position. It hasn't been his weeks and he knows it by the way he goes down this car and walks slowly to the garage.
This time I took a risk and waited for him at the back of the garage, even here I could hear the noise of camera shots, reporters and all the talks from the mechanics.
Lewis was surprised I was there. “Hey.” I smile and give him a small push, making just the faith of a smile appear on his face.
“You get back, don’t pressure yourself too much.” He just nods and keeps walking to change his clothes, definitely mad about his performance.
By the time we arrived at the hotel Lewis put on his best facade during the day and tried to fool us but the one who knew him, saw something was going on.
“What do you want for dinner?” He asked me as we left the paddock.
“Actually, I prefer rest, tomorrow I have an early flight and I still have things to work on.” I’m hungry but I know he always chooses to make me company when actually he's dying from a proper rest.
Lewis is about to complain but I grab his hand on the SUV. “It’s ok, I eat a lot in the hospitality and I always can order room service.” He laid back in the seat. “Just rest, all right?”
I don't lie, I kept working on some drawings until my stomach started to growl, but I needed fresh air, so I took my purse and phone and went out for dinner.
After a quick research online I found myself waiting on a food truck for a burrito and a lemonade, with the ocean at my back and a humid ambient.
“Here you have. Enjoy your food.” A young woman gave me my order, I thanked her sitting in one of the benches they have.
It’s a peaceful night of course with a Grand Prix this morning, you can hear from time to time chattings about the drivers, the race and the results.
“I'm telling you, it was insane!” A man is walking hand in hand with a girl, who is thrilled as him, for the way she makes little jumps and talks with her hands.
“It will be out of this world, be this close to a car.” She narrows the distance of her fingers.
I scoff as I clean my fingers after finishing my dinner, even in the most random place people agree with Max.
I go back walking to the hotel, just a 20 minute walk; I need to do the last adjustment before I leave. I was talking with the receptionist when loud laughs and mumblings distract me.
Carlos, Charles, Lando, George and Max enter the hotel making the few people still up late at night and staff members look at them.
“Miss?” The receptions remind me of what we were talking about.
I asked her to please wake me up at 4 am, and disobey Lewis' order, they don’t wake him up. I take full responsibility for him not getting upset leaving a handwritten note.
“Sorry.” I ended up writing the note and gave it to her. “Thank you so much.” The girl smiles at me before I take my phone and walk, seeing the photos of Nicola with the kids and Roscoe.
Until I almost hit my face with the floor of the lobby.
“Don’t worry, nothing is going to happen to you tonight.” I didn’t even notice the fast reaction of Max grabbing my left arm.
The half twisted smile and the fact he's holding too to a chair, make me take my arm from his hand.
“I'm fine, thanks.” Max stares at Charles who has a red face almost like a tomato, sitting in the chair.
“Long legs, you almost make a girl fall, that's rude.” I refuse to get involved in this so I start to walk to the elevator.
“Wait, I'll take you to your room.” Max panicked and corrected himself. “To the door of your room, not inside of your room, at the frame of your door.”
I bluff, he's definitely drunk and the only one staying alone there; Charles, is talking with a girl who is coming for him.
I want to leave him there, I truly want to, but the half closed eyes and the fact he believes he is the savior when I easily could get in trouble, makes me doubt.
I clicked the bottom for the elevator but he sits on the chair.
“Goodness gracious.” I whisper to myself before walking back and pull him to the elevator.
He looks at me with his eyes as open as possible, still I didn't even say a word.
The 10 floors seem eternal as the elevator goes up, I keep tipping the floor with my feet as it could make it go faster, getting distracted when I feel Max is sliding.
I complain internally about dad always teaching us help every time you can. I grabbed his arm and put it around me, at least he could lean on me.
“Which one is your floor?” The smell of whisky is perceptible.
“What? No, no, I'll take you. You're the one who almost got hurt.” I clicked my tongue; discussing with him is harder, now, being drunk could be a pain.
“Ok, at least you should tell me, just in case I need more help.” My words are pure irony.
He sighs and a rumble laugh comes out of him along with a. “Smart girl.”
My giggle is an honest one. “Yes, I know.”
When we reach the 12th floor Max keeps mumbling things about the race, the night and why he “thinks” he’s probably drunk.
“Ok, which one is yours?” I practically dragged him out of the elevator begging no one else where in the hallway.
He splits and leans on the wall. “No, no, no. You first.” He highcough, still I know I have to be patient.
“Why don’t we go to your room, calm and then you could leave on mine? If you throw up, at least I prefer to be in your room.” He scoffs but nods.
“Omg, Max?” I feel my blood turn cold when I hear another voice. “I thought you would say any drinks tonight.” A man runs to him and holding him avoids him crashing on the floor.
“It was the plan, just…” He plays with his fingers before grabbing the man shirt. “A few.”
“Let’s go, I’ll take you to your room.” But Max splits and points to me.
“No, we almost made this young girl fall, I must leave her in her room safe.” Finally the man noticed my existence and smiled in an apologetic way.
“I’m sorry, but one of the girls called to the reception about Max making a scene in the lobby but when I arrived he was already gone.” The man extended his hand. “I’m Harry, teammate of Max.”
I take his hand. “Y/N Hamilton.” He blinked rapidly.
“Y/N Ham… Hamilton. Lewis sister?” He mumbled, still Max answered for me.
“His little sister, to be more clear.” Harry threw lethal eyes to him.
“You made Lewis little sister carry you up here in these conditions?” Max nods slowly and makes me smile. “Oh, right, I almost forgot, almost made her fall.”
“Fuck yeah.” Max answers and walks where I still was standing.
“No, no, let’s go Max, you need to lay down.” Harry tries to grab him but he already has his arm around my shoulders holding me tight.
It’s obvious he won’t let go of his nonsense of leaving in my room.
“Hey Max, let’s do what I propose, all right? Then you could leave in my room.” In his condition, as soon as he touches his bed he falls asleep. Harry watches us unsure however follows us until his room.
Inside I walked with him to his bed as Harry closed the door and ordered a strong coffee to his room. When we reached the border of his bed I carefully made him sit but he fell backwards and closed his eyes, like I predicted.
I was about to leave him when he spoke, turning to his left side. “Y/N, you’re pretty strong you know that?”
His words left me surprised with a strange sensation of pride. Harry enters and apologizes one more time, saying he takes care of him.
“Thanks Y/N. Most of the people will leave him, making sure they win a good post on their feeds.” I nod before walking out of the room, this time after 20 minutes I arrive at my room.
By the time I was about to get in the plane, I received a text from Lewis complaining that I must wait for him to at least he take me to the airport but I calmed him down saying I take one of his boys to do that.
“Try to have fun, ok?” I keep reading his text before entering the house.
After my no-wedding I barely see my friends, I feel so ashamed and embarrassed even though there were just a few ones who used it all the “momentum” against me. This is the first time I came to a birthday party fully convinced.
“It's nice you came Y/N, thanks.” Thomas hugs me after I finally get the chance to talk to him, he’s the birthday boy.
“Oh my, look who’s here!” The voice of Hanna or I must say the scream makes Thomas sigh and I tense my whole body.
“I’m sorry but even if I tried, she always is in the wrong moment.”
I take a deep breath before facing one more time my “best friend” who tactfully reminded me after and during 5 months of my broken heart.
“Go, I can deal with her.” Thomas is about to speak but it's his birthday, the last thing he needs is stress on his day. “I’m fine.”
Thomas nods and walks away as Hanna comes closer, a drink in her hand and poison accumulation in her mouth.
“My girl, it’s been what? 9 or 10 months since we saw you?” Both of us know the last time she saw me it’s the day after my wedding. “And you barely reply to my texts.”
“Yes, I've been kind of bussy.” I play with the ice of my drink to avoid making eye contact.
Hanna fake a compressive smile, predicting something she will say. “I can imagine after a failure like an almost wedding, there are a thousand things to do.”
Even now she gets under my skin so easily.
“I sent you the invitation for my party but you didn't reply or anything like that.” She takes a sip of her drink.
“You know, it's the 21st century, when something is unwanted, hateful or something like that the mail goes right to the spam.” I turn around to see Mika challenge her.
Mika is a friend from the college who Hanna always told me it’s a witch, I guess it was her reflection in the mirror.
“Mika, nice to see you.” Hanna said, trying to kill her with her eyes.
“I love to say the same but…” Mika eats his olive and smiles. “It’s stressful to see you.”
Hanna scoffs but I learn something about Mika all the months she helps me pack and making sure I barely see people who were enjoying seeing me that hurt, she doesn’t leave a prayer alive.
“But hey! Don’t worry, I’m not the only one who thinks the same here.” Hanna takes a deep breath before leaving us.
I take out all the air I’ve counted and smile at Mika. “Thanks.”
She smiles. “She’s been hunting you since she arrived, I was at the backyard with the food but Thomas gives heads up.” She takes the last sip of his martini. “Nevermind her, let’s party all night.”
I spent the night talking with friends, drinking and enjoying the night dancing, until the clock marked 2:37 am, and my legs screamed for rest.
I say goodbye to everyone leaving Thomas and Mika at the end. “Thank you for inviting me.” I hug Thomas at his door.
“Thanks for coming, hey, when you’re in town give us a call, any plan could come out.” He smiles at me.
“And if you need something for the refuge, we love to help.” Mika said, almost dragging her words.
I was about to get in the cap when unlucky Hanna realized I was about to leave.
“Y/N make sure at least just pass another 4 months until we see you again.” The bloody wink makes my blood boil.
The next morning I was received in the kitchen with an aspirin, and a black coffee.
“Long, funny night?” Dad smiles at me with a newspaper in his hands.
I cover my eyes with a napkin. “How can people do this every weekend?”
Dad chuckles and I hear the slow but heavy steps in the wood floor along the gasp, Roscoe is coming.
“Hi, baby.” I carness his head as he closes his eyes. “Wait a little bit more and you’ll be with me.”
After the race in Italy, I already talked with Lewis about taking Roscoe a week earlier before the race in Monaco, a little help and a needed backup for the team.
“Me?” Dad asks standing to prepare the breakfast, I roll my eyes and clarify.
“Us, you’ll be with us.” I sat on the floor and gave a kiss to him. “Let’s keep a secret, I'm your favorite.”
I arrived the night before the race, I had two visit schedules for seeing apartments and made it impossible for me to leave until the night; that’s why I don’t see my brother until early morning, indeed early morning.
“Morning.” I appeared at the restaurant of the hotel where he and Bottas were having breakfast before getting ready to go to the paddock.
“Oh, hi, I thought I’ll see you in the paddock.” I kiss his cheek before giving a hug to Bottas.
“I’m hungry.” I joke as I sit with them, Bottas giggles and calls for the waitress.
“Something doesn't change.” We looked at him with curious eyes. “For winning something with his young lady, food is a shortcut.”
Lewis laughs nodding incessantly. “I couldn't agree more.”
Arriving at the paddock when the drivers are doing the same, is total chaos, people, reporters and cameras all over the place, it’s like an obstacle race.
I walked to the Mercedes hospital next to Red Bull and in front of Ferrari, my eyes were stuck on my phone, when I felt someone soft touch.
I lift my eyes and I recognize the girl in front of me, the same that picked up Chalres. “Hi.”
“Hi, I’m Alexandra, Charles' girlfriend.” I nod, but don’t say another word. “I want to apologize for leaving you alone the other night.”
Oh I got it. “Oh, no worries, it’s ok.” I smile honestly as I put my hand on her arm.
“I hope someone went fast to help you, I tried to go back but Charles was a little bit of a troublemaker that night.” Well, at least I wasn’t the only one with that situation.
I laughed and shook my head. “You’re the one who called to pick him?” Alexandra nods. “Thank you, and yeah, someone help me.”
“Great! I think I'm seeing you around right?” I realized I didn't introduce myself.
“We could say that, I’m Lewis sister, Y/N.” She smiles but we were interrupted by Charles, who has an embarrassed expression.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry.” He giggles and covers his face with his hands. “I’m so embarrassed with you.”
Alexandra giggles, it's obvious the love in her eyes. “When Alex told me what happened…” He sighs. “I’m sorry.”
I shake my head, containing the laugh. “It’s ok, don’t worry, I understand, great race.”
“Max wasn't that drunk.” Alexandra plays with him, making him raise his eyebrow. “She’s in fact Lewis sister.”
“Oh, he's definitely going to throw up this time.” Charles noticed the confusion on my face. “When Aelx told us what happened, Max said he had blurry memories of you helping him but we thought it’s the hangover, clearly it’s not.”
“Talking about the king of Rome.” Alexndra points to Max who’s coming out of Red Bull hospitality.
When I turn around I see a red Max walking… dragging his feets to us, the blue t-shirt just makes the redness intensify.
“Am, Y/N?” Rosa calls me to appear at the door. “Your brother is looking for you.” I nod but the fact I don’t move makes her say one more thing. “Like, now.”
I open my eyes and before Max reaches us I apologize to them and wish Charles a good race, running inside as she holds the door for me.
“Making friends?” She smiles at me as I walk inside and put an arm around me.

I entirely forgot to write abt this so let me get on it now lol
How would Folio be with a metal vocalist reader??
♡ firstly let me say he's whipped for you. He met you at an awards show for the first time and he's been enamored ever since. He IMMEDIATELY got your number and this ultimately led him to covering for your drummer for a while when they were out for a few months once.
♡ he toured with you while Bad Omens wasn't busy and loved every fucking second of it. He was so happy to spend time with you even I'd it was busy and hectic. You two made it official while on this tour, he couldn't keep his feelings to himself and made a whole big scene of asking you out. He decorated your hotel room while you were out and about and when you got back he gave you the prettiest necklace with his initials on it after you said yes.
♡ Nick is CONSTANTLY gushing abt you and your talent. He could sit and watch you sing for literal hours, and adores helping you with warmups. He's your hype man, when your energy isn't right he fixes it immediately with his presence and comforting words. He's always smiling it seems and it rubs off on you so easily it's hard to ever be sad or stressed around him
♡ when he can't go with you on tour or you can't go with him he's always facetiming you, sending pics and videos and texting you as often as he can. More often than not he calls you just to fall asleep on the phone too cause he misses having you in bed next to him at night. You're his lockscreen and his home screen lol he's always looking at you. He also keeps plenty of Polaroids of you two together stashed in his stuff.
♡ I feel like your groups would end up like In This Moment and DED. the two lead singers are dating and they constantly tour together, which is exactly what you and Bad Omens end up doing. You're their opener. Both of your groups get along perfectly as well and the chemistry is wonderful so you feel like this whole thing is a match made in heaven.
♡ as for the NSFW side, since you don't get a lot of alone time together he makes it WORTH IT when you do. This man could go 50 rounds nonstop if you let him and more often than not you at least try. He's constantly mouthing off abt how much he loves you and misses you and how gorgeous you are. He's flattering even when he's balls deep inside you :(((

Teach you a lesson
I met Nicholas when we were at elementary school. I hated him the moment I found out who his father is. Everyone was fake and wanted to be friends with him. Not me, at that moment I decided to bully him cause how he had it so much easier than the rest of us.
My terror of bullying was smooth, yet not apparent to others at first. That protected me from any consequences. But in our senior year in high school, Nick suddenly grew balls to resent me and stand up to me. Eventually he got me kicked out of school.
You know, I hated my life. I just went to school cause I had to. My parents were shit, I had no goals, no ambition. I realized that the longest goal I had in life was the bullying of Nicholas. But that would stop now. It suddenly made me feel empty inside. What would I do? I don't even know what to do with my life. I was browsing the internet, when I bumbed into a photo of Nick with his dad. His dad is pretty chill and still good looking for his age. His life must be amazing. I hope he is hard on him.
An idea was born in my head. I searched the internet for ways to possess someone. Possessing Nicholas would be boring, I would have no one to make fun off. But possessing his dad, that is something else.
I found this silly ritual, but it was worth a shot. I lit up the candles, got in the middle and started. My soul was ejected from my body. I was looking at my unconscious body on the floor. Then I imagined Nicholas and his house. I was transported in the blink of an eye. There he was, sitting on his bed, reading a book. "Just you wait"
I explored the house and found his father in the bathroom. Bingo. I dived into his back and then had to fight him for control of his body. He gave up. His body was mine.
"Damn, I look fantastic for a 50 year old!" I flexed my upper body. A tent formed in my pants. Plenty of time for that later on. I have to take care of something now.
I went into his room. He looked at me with a an unknowing smile. "What's up dad?"
I took his book and threw it on the other side of the room. I pushed him on the bed a grabbed him by the neck.
"Dad! Stop! What are you doing?! This hurts, stop this!"
"Daddy isn't here anymore, pipsqueak. It's just you and me."
"Ewan? How... why are you doing this?"
"Cause you got me kicked out and cause I missed bullying you, silly. Your life would be too boring without me."
Then a female voice called us over. "Say a word and I'll kill your father's body. Understand?"
We went to the living room. My wife, I assumed, asked us for a picture for the grandparents.
We went next to each other to pose for the photo. I noticed he wasn't smiling, So I pressed his neck painfully. He smiled just to avoid another punishment.
My new sexy wife took the photo, obviously happy for the result and left the room.
I smiled at him:"I'm going to make your life a living hell. You can count on it. From now on, call me DAD. You'll do whatever I say or else I hurt your family. Understand?"
Yet another story from inbox: I imagine you will have many requests as I have seen these days. I was thinking about a story in which a young man's bully possesses the young man's father, a handsome and rich man, with the intention of becoming the bad boy and the womanizer he always dreamed of, and to torment his new son even more, of course.
I imagine the father as Mark Wahlberg

Seeing BJ2 the 3rd time.
LONG & FILLED WITH SPOILERS
SO much to think about, and my memory is shit.
I rapidly scribbled notes during the film. But when I got home and tried to read them:
So here's an overview. I'll post other details if I ever translate my notes.
First, the casting was perfection. I'd never seen Jenny Ortega, Justin Theroux, and Monica Bellucci before, so for me they were the characters.
It was interesting that the film opens with the Warner Brothers Studio lot in black & white. Why B&W? It sort of sets the tone.
Donna Summer singing lines from "MacArthur's Park" was a foreshadowing. This film was made by a guy who was a teen in the 70s, and it's for others his age (he's only 2 years older than me). BJ2 is packed with 70s nostalgia that only those who were alive then would get.
This sequel was also made for die-hard fans of the original Beetlejuice. Burton took special care to give us the Winter River we love, but updated it to show the story and its characters aren't stuck in the past. The covered bridge is there, the church, cemetery, Miss Shannon's, and fire station are there, and so is the Maitland's building, but it's a coffee shop now.
Seeing Lydia as shell-shocked and pill-popping threw me, but the plot gave it sense (I'll go into detail in a separate post).
Rory, OMFG, I've known Rory. Anyone who's had anything to do with the entertainment/media biz, even peripherally, knows Rory. His "enabler" bullshit was so spot-on; faking that he's going to get Lydia off her dependency on drugs while keeping her hooked by making it seem that he's doing it because she's begging him. Classic user methodology. You just know he's the one who got her on "coping" pills in the first place; all the better to manipulate her. I loathed him immediately.
I adore what they did with Delia. It completely fucking made sense, and followed what's happened in the modern NYC Arts scene. I love how she and Lydia now get along, I mean, shit, Lydia's in her 50s and Delia's in her 70s, they're both middle-aged women, and, bless their hearts, the screenwriters and Burton made them act like grown women.
Astrid seemed older than 16 to me, but hey, I'm not around teenagers these days. I appreciated that she wasn't a brat. Her resentment and having her back up were appropriate for her family situation; a beloved father whose body was never found (I think); a mom always working or promoting because of Rory, doped on pills and famous for being a ghost-seeing nutjob, who can't see Astrid's father. That's a lot to deal with.
The way they handled Charles was perfect, especially his claymation demise. His afterlife body was comically gross, and an ingenious way of including Charles in the film without having to recast another actor, except for his voice. Charles being in the Netherworld provides a great thread to Delia's later death. His headstone being the shape of a shark's fin was a humorously grim touch.
The Sylvia Young Theatre School Choir sang at Charles' funeral, and their voices were beautiful.
Arthur Conti was fantastic as Jeremy (70s teens remember his grandfather, Scottish actor Tom Conti). His American accent was flawless. He was the perfect balance of cute and mature, and his niceness made his being evil all the worse; while Astrid says the incantation you can see him slightly out of focus behind her, smiling in a chilling way. I love that there isn't the slightest hint that he's a multiple murderer, and of his own parents! When he's about to get his passport stamped he shows absolutely no remorse toward Astrid, which makes his damnation all the sweeter.
Beetlejuice . . . . What can I say? Michael Keaton created Beetlejuice as we know him, and he fit right back in character as easily as drawing breath. His body language, his weird way of walking, his expressions, everything is just as you'd expect Beej to be. But then we get to see more! I can't express how happy I was to see Beej's origin story, which turned the throw-away line about having a pretty good time during the Black Death into something more substantial. Seeing Keaton as human Beej was a delight.
An important detail was that, even though Beej says his heart had long since withered, he fell for Delores. He says he was "bewitched." Perhaps not love, but lust certainly. It's quite clear that Delores was much higher in social station than Beetlejuice, so he must have thought he'd won the lottery with her choosing him. My god, his ego had no problem with his drunken ass being hauled to bed by his new wife, and his enthusiasm was huge. I love that they gave him the gut in his human form (Keaton doesn't have one).
Richard was the nice guy I hoped he would be. But it was telling that, when he says goodbye to Lydia at the ladder in the mausoleum, they don't hug. They don't even shake hands. It shows the truth of Lydia's previous statement to Astrid that she and Richard's relationship had ended long before his death.
Wolf is every 70s crime drama/movie distilled. Hammy, over the top, constantly spouting his Catch Phrase.
Why are there so many shrunken head guys? And why did Beej hire people who can't talk to answer his phones? It's loony and fits the Netherworld random logic. They're Beej's Minions.
I've seen a lot of people on tumblr, as well as professional movie critics, say there were "too many villains" and that the plot was "too hard to follow."
For those who agree with this, I recommend you never attempt to read anything by Charles Dickens, Alexandre Dumas, Victor Hugo, Edgar Allan Poe's detective stories, or Agatha Christie. Because your brains would fry.
Look, there are two villains. Just two.
Delores poisoned Beetlejuice, he killed her with an axe in revenge, in the Afterlife she reassembles and hunts him down, killing others in her wake, which sets Wolf Jackson and the Ghoul Squad after her, until she's defeated with a sandworm.
Rory has been manipulating Lydia, keeping her doped, gas-lighting her, until under the Truth Serum injected by Beej he spills the beans and Lydia rejects him, until he's eaten at the same time as Delores by the sandworm.
As for "Delores and Rory weren't given enough story," what more do you want? How Delores joined a soul-sucking cult? How Rory became a user, seeking out vulnerable, grieving women to exploit? We learn as much as we need to. Anything more would have stuffed the film with unnecessary crap.
The only shit I didn't care for was the baby.
The whole Counseling scene was a big gross-out, and I'm sure Tim Burton intended it that way. The original couldn't have been more gross than it was or it would have earned an R Rating, keeping out everyone under the age of 18 (21 in some states; this was the 80s). But now, Burton could be a lot more graphic. I was stunned that he had Lydia go through the "pregnancy," but it obviously didn't hurt her. For me Babyjuice has no point. It doesn't advance the plot, and its reappearance only drives home the weirdness of the ending.
What the ever fuck was the ending??
Especially Astrid giving birth to the Beetlebaby. It would suggest Beetlejuice is its father, which means he and Astrid had sex. Which we can be pretty sure they didn't . . ? In the counseling scene Beej refers to the baby as his "inner child." So its not his literal child? Even so, why would Astrid give birth to it the same way her mother did?
I've read all the theories about the ending, and at this point one's as good as the other. Perhaps that's the point: To keep us all guessing. Because I'm sure, all along, there's been a plan for Beetlejuice 3, IF this movie was a hit. If it wasn't, if it bombed (since 2010 all of Burton's films have bombed), the ending would lead to speculation forever, to people writing fucking dissertations about its symbology and metaphors, etc.
But if it was a hit, which it is, the seeds are there for a third and final film. But so fucking murky no one can guess what it'll be like.
The only part of the ending I liked was Beej shaking awake and saying, as he glances at Lydia, "I just had the weirdest dream." And Lydia looking over. Not terrified. Not screaming or leaping out of bed. Not seeing the indentation in the pillow and yelling in protest. Just staring.
Do I want a third film?
I love Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. I love it more every time I watch it. I accept everything in it as canon, even the baby, resentfully.
But Burton might fuck up the last one. He might do things I never wanted to be canon. When a sequel is made of a hit film, the creators sometimes become self-conscious. BJ2 wasn't, because it'd been 36 years since the original. They had no idea whether this version would fly. Since it has, massively, I'm afraid the screenwriters and Burton may become too aware of the audience and try to cater to it. OR they'll go the opposite direction and try to come up with a plot they think fans would never imagine.
So I'm pretty much stuck in the same place I was before I saw Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Wary, skeptical, and cynical.
