man i love how goofy ash’s froakie is in the first season or so. i get the vibe that its less “wow so cool so stoic” and more “this frog wants to be cool so bad and kinda is but hes cursed with a teeny frog body and this enrages him beyond belief”

#hes also super competitive and honestly a bit of a dick in the earlier seasons? which i love #and it doesnt undermine that hes still plenty powerful or anything nor is he treated like hes stupid like oshawott or piplup #idk hes fun to watch and maybe its my froakie bias but ive found myself really enjoying episodes that focus on him #like the ninja episode (which ik the show has more of and i never saw the later ones so im excited for those)#echoed voice #pokeani lb
