if you don't think jj was actually written to be in love with pope do you think it just came out that way because rudy decided to play him as gay?

i genuinely don’t have an answer to this because i know next to nothing about the cast and haven’t watched any interviews. like.. has rudy actually said he was playing jj as gay? has he just hinted at it, maybe? has he not said anything at all and us queer!jj truthers just say it because that’s how we’ve interpreted his performance??

and tbh the better question is probably was he intentionally playing jj to be in love with/having feelings for pope specifically?

my gut says no. my gut says it was an accident, but one that he would probably be happy to explore if given the chance??? but again, i haven’t seen a single interview so i don’t actually know.
