Too Young to Fall in Love Chapter 42 (Dirt!Nikki x Reader)
Tumblr media
Title: Too Young to Fall in Love 42
Summary: Nikki Sixx was a hard partying musician on the strip. He never expected to fall in love with anyone, until a girl knocked on his dressing room door looking for a ride home and took his breath away. Just like everything else Nikki did; the drugs, the money, the music; Nikki went hard with love. (Y/n) Bass never expected the bassist of Motley Crue to be the one to shake her calm and calculated life up. She had a plan. Graduate school, become an epic producer, and watch from behind the scenes as her brother’s band rose to fame. Nikki and (Y/n) were perfect for each other, too bad her brother, Tommy, didn’t think so.
Series warnings:  Smut (18+ Please), drug use, language, referenced miscarriage, drug overdose, mentioned attempted suicide, out of character moments for everyone in the band, the timeline might be a little screwy but it’s fanfiction! I know nothing of music production and my medical knowledge is really screwy, so it won’t be accurate.
Nikki woke up the next morning to Ziggy whimpering. With a groan he got up and put on his robe. He was happy, everything was in place to ask (Y/n) to marry him. He just needed the ring once it was done and the perfect carnival setting. He looked at the empty bed before heading out. It felt weird not having her there with him when he woke up. He let Ziggy out and went about his morning routine. Making coffee he smiled when he heard the front door open and (Y/n) coming in.
She tiptoed in, not wanting to wake Nikki up. But Ziggy saw her through the patio door and started barking like crazy, making Nikki laugh. (Y/n) went to the kitchen and smiled at him.
“Hey babe. You’re awake early.” (Y/n) kissed his cheek.
“Ziggy,” he said and pulled her in for a deep kiss. “You look like you have fun with Nessa, how’s she doing? And … how’s Vince?
“I guess he spends more time at the bar than he does at home,” (Y/n) sighed. “She needed the spa day. She’s taking it all pretty hard.” She leaned up against the counter. “So I might have heard something from a friend at Elektra.”
“Yeah?” Nikki sighed. He sighed, he was trying to make sure that if they got dropped the label would let the Cure keep all ownership of their songs.
“According to her, they want John out, which we knew.” She told him. “And...I heard they might not be interested in renewing the contract when it comes up due again.” She went to Nikki and handed him an envelope. “That’s why I did this.” He opened the envelope to see a copyright form for the name Motley Records. “I’m gonna get your masters back. Elektra doesn’t know who they’re dealing with.”
Nikki picked her up and spun her around, “have I mentioned that I love you sweet girl?”
“Once or twice.” She laughed, kissing him gently. “What about now our next goal being that we save the singer?”
“Yeah, let’s save the singer,” he said and kissed her deeply.
“But first, I think I want some time with you.” She smiled and took his hand, leading her to the bedroom.
Nikki gave her a devilish grin as he picked her up over her shoulder and smacked her ass.. “That is perfect!” he laughed as he carried her up the stairs and payfully tossed her onto the bed. Taking off his robe he jumped on next to her and laughed. With a smiled he turned over and said, “Night.”
“It’s morning!” (Y/n) laughed. “I guess I’ll just go use my other boyfriend.” She smirked and went to get something from her drawer.
“Wait, what?” Nikki turned over and pulled her close to him. “What are you talking about?”
“My battery operated boyfriend.” She laughed. “You know you’re the only one I want to be with.” She kissed him gently.
“Oh!” he smiled, “well… we could always bring him out to play,” Nikki wiggled his eyebrows before kissing her deeply.
“Why? Do you wanna watch?” She moaned into the kiss.
“That would be a sight,” he said as he held her tight and rolled over having her straddle him.
“Oh?” She rubbed against him some. “What if I’d rather give you the best blowjob of your life?”
“Fuck… you’re already the best thing in my life,” he moaned as he helped take off her shirt. She moved her hips against him, feeling some twitching.
“Let’s get you out of those boxers Mr. Sixx.” (Y/n) whispered.
Nikki chuckled as he laced his thumbs through the elastic as she lifted herself up and pulled down his boxers. Laying back he smiled up at her. The light in her eyes was back, she was glowing, and he wanted nothing more than to love her over and over and over again all over the house. He looked at her and caressed her bare skin as she unhooked her bra. This thumbs grazing over her nipples and he smirked as she moaned.
She moved down between his legs and teasingly licked the head of his cock. She smirked when he heard a noise come from his mouth.
“What was that baby?” She asked.
“Minx,” he murmured and sighed. “Love you.”
“Love you more.” She said before taking him into her mouth as deep as she could before the head hit her throat. She slowly started bobbing her head, using her hand to cover what she hadn’t fit in her mouth. Yet.
“Fuck,” Nikki moaned as he bucked his hips gently. Just the feel of her mouth on him was sending him close to the edge. “If you don’t stop I’m gonna blow right down your throat sweet girl. And I haven’t made you cum yet.” She just looked up at him before continuing her motions. He did so much for her. She wanted to do something for him. She reached down and cupped his balls, giving them a slight squeeze as she continued to bob her head. Nikki threw his head back at the sensation, he was in pure bliss. He could feel himself get close his breath becoming ragged as she pleased him.
“(Y/n),” he let out as he came in her mouth. She took it all in and looked into his eyes as she swallowed it. She crawled up the bed to lay by her.
“How do you feel?” (Y/n) asked, rubbing his arm.
“Very, very, very relaxed sweet girl,” he muttered as he pulled her in for a kiss. His hand cupped her face, his thumb caressing her cheek as he gazed into her eyes,“Love you.”
“Love you too.” She leaned into his touch. “I know it’s been years, but I’m still glad I picked LA over London.”
“I’m glad you did too,” he sighed and smiled at her. “Ok, I need to get up. I think Mick and I should work on Vince. Not sure what we should do about Tommy. Maybe I should go talk to him first?” Nikki sat up and stretched.
“Maybe I should go talk to Tommy while you work on Vince?” She suggested.
“I don’t want him hurting you,” Nikki sighed as he got dressed. “I’ll talk to him and see what he was thinking when he took your notebook…” Nikki closed his eyes and sighed. He remembered some of the dark things he wrote in his during his withdrawal period.
“Did you end up reading anything in it?” She asked, sitting up on the bed, wearing just her underwear.
Nikki shook his head, “I wasn’t sure if you wanted me to so I left it alone,” he told her honestly.  She went to her office and grabbed it, handing it to him.
“It’s mainly song lyrics, and I give you permission to use them. If he would’ve asked, I would’ve gave it to him too.” She smiled. “I’m gonna get dressed. I’ll go deal with my brother and if anything happens, I’ll call you, okay?”
“OK,” Nikki nodded as he kissed her and pressed his forehead against hers.
**********
(Y/n) looked at the address on the paper and double checked it on the house. Walking up to it, she rang the doorbell. A familiar looking blonde woman answered the door. She smiled when she saw (Y/n).
“(Y/n)!” She laughed, hugging her. “Come in, come in. Tommy’s out on the dock.”
“Oh, hi Pamela. I wasn’t sure if anyone was home.” (Y/n) made her way in. “Is Tommy okay? I hadn’t heard from him in awhile.”
“He’s been a bit sad,” she admitted. “I think he misses the band with Nikki, but he’s still making music with his band.”
“Do you mind if I go out and see him?” (Y/n) asked.
“No, go right ahead,” she smiled and led the way to the dock. Tommy was sitting there, staring out over the water. (Y/n) walked out and set by him.
“Hey T-bone.” (Y/n) said softly. “How are you doing?”
“Fine,” he sighed as he took a chug of his beer. “Why are you here? I thought you hated me?”
“You might piss me off, but I’ve never hated you.” (Y/n) told him. “Elektra is going to drop the Crue because they suck now.” She laughed. “I say it’s because my favorite drummer isn’t there.”
“You look happier,” he murmured. “Besides, Nikki hates me… I’ve been nothing but a dick.”
“I’ll have you know he was going to come out here and talk to you himself, but I told him to go with Mick and talk to Vince. Get him out of the bar,” She looked at the beer cans around him. “Which I think is what you need to do too…” She sighed. “Anyway, I brought you a peace offering.” She handed him a piece of paper. “No strings attached.” She stood up.
“What is it?” he looked at the paper and stared at it. “Wait this is… you’re letting me use it?”
“Yep. You don’t even have to credit me for it.” She sighed. “I guess I’ll leave you alone now.”
“(Y/n),” he called out to her.
“Yeah?” She turned to look at him.
“Thanks,” he smiled. “I um… I’ll call Nikki later.”
“You better.” She smiled and left. He sat back down. He looked at the paper and the beer. He sat the beer down.
“Hello, again, hello there. It's been so long. And this place is not the same without you.” Tommy sang softly, reading over the words on the paper.
****
Nikki sat in his bass room practicing his skills. He just let himself get lost in the strumming of his bass. He and Mick would meet here before going to see Vince. Since Vince lost Skylar he wasn’t sure what to say.
“Hey bass player,” Mick said, making his way into the bass room. “Just got off the phone with Vanessa. She told me what bar he’s at.”
“Ok,” he but the bass down and shook out his hands. “Lets go talk to him… I’m worried about (Y/n) though, she went to talk to Tommy.”
“Alone? Is she crazy?” Mick asked. “Didn’t he leave bruises on her not too long ago?”
“Yeah he did, she insisted on going and I just hope nothing happened,” he shook his head and grabbed his keys. “Come on, lets go get Vince.”
Mick followed him out to the car. They drove to the bar Vanessa told them to go to. Through the smoke, they saw Vince sitting at the bar, nursing a beer.
“You know man, they were so much better with you Vince.” The bartender told him as he leaned against the bar.
“They’re happy I’m not there.” Vince grumbled. The bartender looked up and smiled.
“I got a bassist and a guitarist that say otherwise.” The bartender laughed.
“Hey Vince,” Nikki took a seat on the stool next to him.
“What are you doing here?” Vince grumbled. “Here to rub it in about how much fun you’re having with John Corn-on-the-cobi?”
“I’m keeping that one.” Mick chuckled.
“Actually he sucks,” Nikki shook his head. “I mean for the Crue sound… he just isn’t for us.”
“Heard Tommy quit too.” Vince sighed. “Guess the bands just falling apart, isn’t it?”
“I’m sorry man…” Nikki looked down at his hands. “I know you’re battling your own demons and I should have helped you better…” The door opened then and Tommy came in, looking around. He saw the guys over at the bar and stood by Mick.
“Hey guys.” Tommy said softly.
Nikki looked at him and took a deep breath hoping (Y/n) was ok.
“I...can we get a table and talk? All of us?” Tommy asked. “Please?”
“Come on Vince,” Nikki muttered as he helped Vince off the stool and to a table nearby. They all sat down. Tommy took a drag off his cigarette.
“I’m sorry about Skylar.” He whispered to Vince. “I can’t even imagine something so awful.” Vince started to cry then.
“How is this fucking fair? She was only four!” He cried. “She didn’t get to do anything she wanted to do! She...she told me she wanted to be a princess astronaut that played guitar and drums. She never even got to try that man.”
Nikki stayed silent and closed his eyes. He in a way knew what Vince was talking about. His own unborn child never even got a chance to live. He looked over at VInce and gave him a hug. “We’re here for you man. And Vanessa… I mean she’s worried about you Vince.”
“I don’t deserve her.” Vince whispered. “She puts up with all my shit and she still loves me. How did we get such awesome girls in our lives? I mean, we weren’t exactly saints.”
“I don’t know but… don’t do this to yourself man,” Nikki shook his head. “You know she’ll be there for you so you can always talk to us and we can always help each other out.” Nikki offered Vince a small smile. Vince ran a hand down his face and sighed.
“What do we do now?” Vince asked. “Oh, Nikki, I did something for you last night. Early birthday present or whatever.”
“Vince you didn’t have to man,” Nikki whispered. In all honesty he had forgotten his own birthday was coming up.
“Trust me, you’ll like it.” Vince turned to the TV with a smile. The bartender switched it to MTV. It was about news time. And when the news came on, Mick and Tommy’s eyes got wide.
Because Bret Michaels had been beat up by an unnamed source.
“He came in here talking shit about you and saying how much better he was for (Y/n). But as the drinks kept coming, he started to call her a slut and, I just can’t have that. So, my hand may have slipped a time or two.” Vince shrugged, looking back at Nikki.
Nikki gave  Vince a pat on the shoulder, “thanks man.” Vince offered him a small smile. Tommy took another drag off his cigarette.
“So, when do we get rid of Corn-on-the-cobi?” Mick asked with a chuckle.
“Let’s go,” Nikki smiled.

Summer Nights
Summary: Cronus’ little late night work on his bike turns into a cute evening with the one he loves. Time to break open the musical shenanigans guys
Ship: Cronus/Xena
A/N: This was requested by @xeensbin. I hope they enjoy this cause I’m not fucking around with killing them with fluff here. All songs and lyrics are from the musical Grease. Credit goes to this honestly lovely musical that I’m so sorry that I default to when concerning music with Cronus.
Please note both parties are 18+ and therefore depicted as adults.
Lyrics in italics
It was a hot summer day and the sun was thankfully going down. This sort of went unnoticed by Cronus who was knee deep into work with his motorcycle. He had been at this for a few hours with mp3 player blaring softly on his bluetooth speaker so he has something to work to. Working without his music made him uncomfortable.
They think our love is just a growing pain Why don't they understand, It's just a crying shame Their lips are lying only real is real We stop the fight right now, we got to be what feel
As these lyrics blared out, a familiar set of footsteps stepped on the other side of his bike. Cronus smiled to himself more than happy to have some more than welcomed company.
“Hello gorgeous,” he said sliding out from under his bike. Xena leaned in to help Cronus up. “Come here often stranger,” Xena said with am attempted flirtatious smirk.
“I don’t know. Maybe I should if you come by more often,” Cronus said doing an equally as flirtatious smirk. Slow down you two. This is a kids film.
“I’m bored without you, so I thought if you can’t be em...” Xena said kind of low key checking out an obviously shirtless Cronus. Goddamnit now you got a dead girlfriend to bury Cronus you fucking idiot.
This didn’t go unnoticed by Cronus. To be honest, he kind of did it on purpose. Plus, a guy gets hot during the summer. The only sensible solution was no shirts for Cronus. The sweat on his slightly toned body glistened with sweat and some oil.
Xena began to try and find a nice distraction to get her out of being mesmerized by Cronus’ muscles. Damn it Xena! Now you gotta go into the witness protection program cause your identity as a thirsty hoe has been found out by your fish boyfriend. Shape of Water wishes it had this much sexual tension.
Xena looked over to his bluetooth speaker blaring his music.
We take the pressure and we throw away Conventionality belongs to yesterday There is a chance that we can make it so far We start believing now that we can be who we are
“Is that Grease,” Xena asked. “Yeah. Vantas introduced it to me saying how good it is and how much I would like it. Guy has good taste in movies,” Cronus chuckled as he put on his shirt.
“We can watch it together sometime.” Xena offered. She really wanted to get to know everything Cronus liked. To be honest, if Xena hadn’t offered first, Cronus most certainly would have
Cronus laughed a little. “Ya know what, I thought you’d never ask.” Cronus went to turn up his speaker just a little lower. Or at lease he was going to when Summer Nights came on.
“Oh shit hold up I love this song,” Cronus squealed a little. Musicals truly bring out the man in Cronus. The squealing kind.
“Can you sing Cronus,” Xena asked. Xena knows what they’re about. Time to initiate Code Musical Cliche.
“Oho you know it sweetheart,” Cronus said pulling Xena forward to his chest. “Just follow my lead,” Cronus whispered in her ear. Boy he was feeling cocky.
“W-Wait, I don’t think I can dance,” Xena interrupted.
“When you’re in my arms, dancing is going to be the only thing you want to do cause I got you. You’re good no matter what you do,” Cronus uuuu buddy you’re going big or going home aren’t you buddy.
Xena blushed. Was this seduction? She felt like this was seduction? Well, not time to contemplate the subtext going on here cause Cronus just started the song over.
“Now, just go with the flow beautiful. We got this,” Cronus said looking straight into her eyes. He was a few inches from her face. Yep this was happening.
“Summer lovin' had me a blast,” Cronus began. His singing voice was pretty impressive. Not shocking though. He was a musician after all.
“Summer lovin' happened so fast,” Xena sang back a bit shyly.
“Seeeee, you got this,” Cronus said mildly blushing spinning her around. The spin was so sudden Xena screamed a little. “Just go with it. You’re doing great,” Cronus encouraged.
“I met a girl crazy for me,”  Cronus said dipping her down and then picking her back up onto the ground. Xena landed on her feet as a reflex.
Cronus then pushed her out with one of his hands spinning her outward. Time for Xena to play back. Xena had to admit this was getting kind of fun. Xena was feeling pretty light on her feet.
Xena was then pulled back in a reverse spin into his arms. “ Met a boy cute as can be,” Xena said running her hand down his face.
“Shit,” Cronus thought freezing up, blush apparent on his face. Oh how the tables have turned.
“Su--” Cronus squeaked out. He coughed into his hand. Seriously Cronus, you’re a seadweller. All that water and your ass still thirsty.
Xena kissed Cronus nose. Cronus grew weak inside with Xena being here alone and now she’s gotta do that? This man was living and dying at the same time.
“Hey, I”m having fun,” Xena said with a smile.
“Good cause uh I um...I’m having fun too,” Cronus was this close to blue screening on Xena’s ass.
“She swam by me, she got a cramp,” Cronus said picking his composure back up.
“He ran by me, got my suit damp,” Xena sang getting a bit more confident.
“I saved her life, she nearly drowned,” Cronus sang half laughing from how happy he was right now.
“ He showed off, splashing around,” Xena sang laughing back. The sentiment was mutual.
“Summer sun, something's begun, but uh-oh those summer nights,” Both sang pumping their legs out while still holding hands. There was a bit of a bounce to what they were doing. They were honestly having too much fun with this.
“Uh well-a well-a well-a huh,” they both sang in a mock deep voice. They both had to stifle their laughter on that one.
“Tell me more, tell me more,” they said way more high pitch this time.
“Was it love at first sight,” Xena sang. “Oh you know it was,” Cronus mumbled to himself.
“Huh,” she asked. “Oh um...nothing,” he blushed now staggering his words again.
“Took her bowling in the arcade,” Cronus said now changing the subject.
“ We went strolling, drank lemonade,” Xena sang while rolling her eyes.
“We made out a hunk of the time,” Cronus said running his fingers under Xena’s chin pulling her a few inches from his lips while pulling her into his chest with his free arm
Xena froze blushing her face off. Fucking damn it Cronus try not to kill your girlfriend twice.
Xena’s heart raced against his chest and Cronus could feel it. At least, he was thinking that was hers if not his own.
Cronus then began to slow down as a different song played in the background. It was much slower this one. He began to lead her into a much slower dance. Xena didn’t know what he was going to do next. Then suddenly a soft melody came from his lips.
Guess mine is not the first heart broken My eyes are not the first to cry I'm not the first to know There's just no getting over you
Xena perked up. “Cronus,” she thought to herself.
You know I'm just a fool who's willing To sit around and wait for you But, baby, can't you see There's nothing else for me to do? I'm hopelessly devoted to you
There was a slight tremor to these words he was singing. They had genuine meaning. Anyone could tell. It wasn’t like he was naturally singing before, but they came out nervous as he slightly choked on each lyric.
But now there's nowhere to hide Since you pushed my love aside I'm out of my head Hopelessly devoted to you Hopelessly devoted to you Hopelessly devoted to you
Xena stood there in disbelief and silence. She didn’t know how to respond for a hot minute. Then she had a good idea. Time to make this solo a duet.
My head is saying, "Fool, forget him." My heart is saying, "Don't let go. Hold on till the end." And that's what I intend to do I'm hopelessly devoted to you
Cronus bit his lower lip. She was actually singing back to him! Cronus heard the same choking in her voice he probably had. God, this was too much. He felt like he could cry right now. He joined in with her. He couldn’t help it at this point. The moment they were was so unbearably slow and intimate, he couldn’t let it stop now.
But now there's nowhere to hide Since you pushed my love aside I'm out of my head Hopelessly devoted to you Hopelessly devoted to you Hopelessly devoted to you
They both sang this in unison dancing in each other's arms, their foreheads pressed against one another’s.
“Hey, you’re the only one on my mind you know that,” Cronus said barely above a whisper. His hands were trembling slightly pressed up against the small of Xena’s back. “You’re the only one I want Xena. I hope you know that,” Cronus choked out. A lump in his throat formed as he said this.
Xena trembled and blushed at this confession. She couldn’t ask for someone better to be with her tonight. “You’re so beautiful Cronus,” Xena whispered back. “I love you so much that I can’t stand it some days. You’re so good to me. Thank you for always being with me,” Xena said pressing her hand against his cheek.
“Anything and everything for you and only you,” Cronus said pulling her into a kiss. The moon rose in the sky and the music continued to play, but both of these things went unnoticed for Cronus was knee deep in compassion for the love his life.

HEARTBEAT
Chapter Five
Tumblr media
The four girls found enough to keep themselves preoccupied before the concert started. They bought more than enough merchandise for themselves along with drinks and snacks, courtesy of Harry who left his credit card also at will call. They found their way backstage, and Hannah caught up with all the band members and introduced them to her friends. They even met Harry’s opening act, Kacey Musgraves, after her set. Mitch did mention that Harry wanted to stay in his dressing room until the show started. Thank god, Hannah thought to herself as she was not prepared to see Harry before the concert so it worked out for the both of them.
So promptly at 9:15, Harry started his concert. The screens were lowered just before so that when “Only Angel” began, the stage had a heavenly feel as it was filled with fog and bright white lights lit up the stage as the screens rose to the top. But that quickly ended. Unfortunately, the sound quickly cut out as Harry and his band made their appearance on stage. Luckily, Harry was able to sneak back underground until everything was fixed, but the heaven-like feel of the opening was ruined. As if Harry’s wasn’t already on edge for this show, this was not helping. Mitch gave him a second pep talk of the night, and they started over without any problems.
Harry feels alive when he was on stage. He loses all cares in the world when he performs, and so far this night was like no other, besides the very beginning. Until it was time to play “Ever Since New York,” the first song Harry was to sing about Hannah. His nerves were heightened, but the show must go on.
As for Hannah, she had listened to Harry’s album when it first came out for maybe a month, but other than that, it was too hard for her. Some songs she knew were about her, but others she was unsure. The guitar strums began, and Hannah found herself swaying to the song. She and Katie had made their way to the end of the first row on the side of the stage to get a better view of the concert. Harry found Hannah in the crowd, making eye contact. If she doesn’t know this is about her, then she’s about to know, he thought to himself. And so he sang to her,
And I’ve been praying, I never did before.
Understand I’m talking to the walls
I’ve been praying ever since New York.
It was almost instantly that Hannah had yet another quick flashback, and suddenly everything hurt.
“I love you too, baby.” He said with a smile, following with a kiss to her lips. “More than I have ever loved anyone.” New York could not possibly get any better than this moment right here.
Tears filled Hannahs eyes to the brim as she kept hearing those words over and over again in her head. She knew that song was about her. And my God, she prayed too for a long time after their breakup. And here they were, separated.
The concert continued on, and Hannah finally got a hold on her emotions enough to let herself enjoy the concert. The alcohol she was drinking was definitely helping her let loose. Next thing Hannah knew, Harry was running through the crowd to the B-stage. He conversed with some fans once finally back there. Mitch followed him and sat down on a stool to play guitar for the next song. “Alright guys, we are gonna slow it down here for a second, if that’s alright with you?” The crowd erupted with screams, even more so when Mitch strummed the acoustic guitar to the tune of “Sweet Creature”. Hannah knew this song instantly.
Hannah set her purse on Harry’s bed of his rented house in Jamaica. She couldn’t even get in a proper cuddle before Harry was rushing her off to places. “Han, you’re gonna love this place! I have to show you the recording studio. I am in lovewith it. Plus, I want to play you a song,” he said smiling at Hannah while tugging her along. It was a two minute walk down the street from the house to the studio. Harry pulled her into the booth and went straight for his acoustic guitar. Hannah sat across from him on the black leather couch. “So I wrote this song last night. And um…. It’s actually about you. I’ve been working on it for a while, but I think all the excitement I had in me about your arrival really helped me finish the song. So I really hope you like it, baby.”
Harry began to play, and Hannah already knew she would love it. Even if it wasn’t going to be a song she liked, the lyrics were meant for her only. He sang about how Hannah brings him home, and even though they had yet to say the L-word to each other, Hannah knew she felt 100% the exact same way as Harry felt about her.
The moment the song was over, Hannah jumped up out of her seat and sprang her body onto Harry’s, almost causing them both to fall to the floor. Her lips immediately attached to his, moving perfectly in sync with each other. After a moment, Harry set down his guitar, and then picked Hannah up by her legs to carry her to the couch. He laid on half his body slightly on top of his girlfriend while the other half was on the couch. “Harry, that was absolutely wonderful! I feel the exact same way about you. Your arms are my favorite place to be.” She had tears forming in her eyes. “You feel like home to me,” she sniffled.
Harry smiled as wide as he could, and that still couldn’t show how happy Hannah made him. He wrapped his hand around Hannah’s face, staring into her hazel eyes. “I’m so happy to have you here. I missed you, love.” For what seemed like forever, they just stayed on the recording booth couch, simply soaking up each other’s presence, hoping that this moment would never end.
Loud cheers brought Hannah back to reality, and this time she was just happy she wasn’t making eye contact with Harry because she definitely had tears rolling down her face. It was like all the hurt she felt so many months ago was slowly coming back, and there was nothing Hannah could do to stop it. Katie noticed, and they went backstage to calm Hannah down.
“It’s like… I’m enjoying myself, and I’m happy to be here, and I’m excited to see Harry perform… But then when I hear the songs that are about me, I just break down…” Hannah confessed to her best friend. “I just keep having flashbacks in my head, and it’s a lot to handle.”
“Oh honey, I know… it’s so difficult. I know how you feel,” Katie paused. “It’s like when Brandon broke up with me, I didn’t know what to do with myself. He’d been my world for almost three years. And it’s been 8 months since we broke up, and my heart still hurts. But I promise it gets better. You just have to let yourself feel everything, and it’ll make it easier to move on.”
They smiled at each other. “Ugh, I’m ruining my makeup,” they laughed.
“Don’t worry it’s just all over your face…. You’re still ugly though!” Katie laughed as Hannah hit her arm.
“I already know you’re lying because I paid a lot of money for my setting spray, and it definitely keeps my makeup on after hockey practice, even when I’ve got my helmet on. So crying isn’t going to ruin my makeup.” Hannah said as she dabbed her wet eyes in the mirror.
They made their way back out to the concert to catch the last minute of Harry’s cover of “If I Could Fly”. Right after, Harry was running back up to the main stage. He walked straight over to Mitch before grabbing his guitar. “So do you think I should announce when I wrote this song? Maybe give her a hint?”
“I thought you didn’t want to her know,” Mitch was confused as Harry made it seem earlier in the night that he didn’t want Hannah to know how many and which songs he wrote about her.
“I didn’t, but now I kinda do. I don’t know where this change came from exactly, I just know that I’m highly considering it,” Mitch could tell that Harry was getting more and more nervous by the second.
“Well, how many questions do you want her asking about your songs?”
“Honestly, as long as she is talking to me, I’ll answer any questions she has,” Harry had a nervous habit of playing with his lips, and he was doing it so much tonight. He just couldn’t help it.
Mitch shrugged his shoulders. “Well isn’t that kinda your answer to your own question?”
Harry walked away, grabbed his guitar, and went straight for the microphone. “So this is a song that I wrote back in 2016, maybe around September. It didn’t make the album, but it’s a fun song and I’ve fallen in love with performing it. So I hope you enjoy it. And if you know the lyrics, please sing along.”
This definitely sparked Hannah’s interest as Harry said this. We were dating at that time, Hannah remembered. Harry had turned his back as he started playing. Right before he began to sing, he and Hannah made eye contact. He nodded his head and smiled at her. Hannah didn’t think anything of this song until Harry made eye contact again with her as he sang,
Hope you never hear this and know that it’s for you
I don’t know what I’d tell you if you asked me for the truth
Harry flashed her a smile, a nervous one at that. And it suddenly clicked… well for Katie that is. She started screaming so loud, shaking Hannah. “HE WROTE THIS SONG FOR YOU!!!”
Hannah laughed, “Bitch what??? No he didn’t. It’s about some girl named Anna.”
“You don’t think he just made eye contact with you specifically while he sang that line, do you?”
“Um yeah kinda…”
Katie sighed. “You’re an idiot. Anna sounds like Hannah. He changed your name in the song so that you wouldn’t know this song was about you because he never planned for you to hear this song.” Hannah stood there in completely and utter confusion. “Do you get it now?”
What Katie was saying would make sense, but the timeline just didn’t add up. “But he wrote this song in September 2016. We were already dating by then, and this song seems to be about a girl he doesn’t know that well.”
“Just because he wrote it then doesn’t mean he didn’t get the inspiration from the past,” Katie said as she too was trying to piece this together for herself.
“If that’s true, then he’s written so many songs about me…” Katie was suddenly confused, so Hannah explained. “Well you know that he wrote “Sweet Creature” about me and sang it to me when I visited him in Jamaica.” Katie nodded in agreement. “I didn’t think far into it until tonight, but he also wrote “Ever Since New York” about me. We said ‘I love you’ to each other on that New Year’s Day in New York at sunrise.”
Katie’s mouth just hung open. “Holy fuck. He’s been praying ever since then… But what about? You were together for another month after that.”
Hannah shrugged her shoulders. “I couldn’t tell you. Maybe he just adjusted the lyrics so everything would flow more easily. Maybe he wrote this after we broke up. I don’t know, but Harry made eye contact with me during that song too. And I just knew.”
“HOLY CRAP, HANNAH!” Katie freaked out.
“I know. But wait, there’s more.” Hannah continued, “I never told you this because I didn’t think it meant anything at the time. But maybe at like the end of March last year… You remember that kid I used to work with that I hooked up with for a minute? Luke?” Katie nodded, so intrigued by all of this. “Yeah so he was leaving my place one morning because he had a flight to LA for a job interview. And he spilled his smoothie all over his shirt that morning while we were eating breakfast. So I just found another shirt and let him wear it for his flight, and at the time I didn’t realize until later when Luke told me what had happened. It was Harry’s old t-shirt that said, ‘LOVER’ in a heart on the breast pocket. I gave it to Luke on accident. And while out and about, Luke actually ran into Harry. In LA. And they’ve met before so they chatted. And Harry brought me up, asked how I was. I’ve gotten the shirt back since then and all, but yeah.”
“So what? Did Harry contact you after that?”
“No, I didn’t think anything of it. I wore the shirt two more times after that, but since Harry’s album came out, I haven’t been able to wear it… because he wrote about it, in ‘From the Dining Table’.”
“Holy shit, Han. Apparently you’ve made quite the impression on Harry.” Hannah smiled awkwardly. There was a pause as Katie was on her phone. “You know, I’m reading that Harry basically dedicated this one of his ex-girlfriends. Turns out it might be you.”
“We don’t know that for sure.”
Katie continued scrolling on her phone. “Ha… Hannah…”
“What?”
“Harry said in an interview that ‘From the Dining Table’ is the most honest song he’s ever written…”
Hannah walked away to sit against the wall. Her breathing picked up, and she started to shake. “I don’t think I can face him. This is too much.”

Mark’s Cheesy Love Quote 🧀
Tumblr media
Pairing: Mark x Reader
Genre: a slice of fluff
Summary: “Love is the 7th sense that destroys all the 6 senses and makes the person believe non-sense” ; you leaned on him because he understood and he supported you because you were also carrying the same weight he was carrying.
Word count: 3242
A/N: mark is such a cutie patootie. this boy deserves more rest! (credits to the rightful owners of these lovely gifs and pictures, because for sure I can’t make these to save my life).
Tumblr media
Mark was humming to himself to the music that was blasting through his earbuds as he made his way towards the lounge area in SM building. NCT U had just finished having a meeting regarding their next comeback and while the older members went to go practice or grab lunch, Mark decided to find a place to relax. He usually sat in this one spot near the window where it had the best view and the armchair was incredibly comfortable.
He nodded his head at the SM trainees that passed by him and smiled behind his mask as the girls giggled to one another before bowing. It wasn’t necessary for him to still wear a disguise indoors, but decided to keep it on so he wouldn’t have to take it off and put it on again. As his lounging spot came into view, he noticed that it was already taken.
You were the composer for the new girl group that had recently debuted a couple months ago and you were working hard on coming up with new lyrics for their new song. Mark actually recognized you, because you and Taeyong had worked on several songs from their latest album that was released. You didn’t talk much, but when you did you had incredible ideas and what you composed became magic.
It was no wonder the new girl group grew famous from their first single - they had an incredible composer like you making their music.
He wondered why you didn’t become an idol when he clearly knew you could sing as well - from his opinion, you were really pretty despite not wearing a lot of makeup and you had the capabilities to become an idol. If SM entertainment hired you to be a composer because of your skills then obviously you matched up to their standards of being a singer too.
Mark immediately noticed something was off when he got closer to you. You paid no attention to him because you had your eyes closed with earbuds blasting some melodies into your ears. The sunlight beaming through the window hit the high points of your features and despite some blemishes here and there, Mark thought you looked incredibly gorgeous. His standards of beauty weren’t high and he didn’t really talk about his ideal type of girl since it didn’t really matter to him at the time.
He pulled out his earbuds and pondered whether or not to leave you alone or just find another place to sit. Noticing that the seat behind you was empty, he decided to sit there - the chair wasn’t as comfortable as the one you were sitting on, but Mark didn’t really mind at that point. As soon as he sat down, a certain sound made him slightly panicked.
Soft sniffs reached his ears and he felt himself become slightly saddened.
Your phone suddenly rang and you wiped away your tears before pulling out your earbuds and answering it.
 “Hello?”
“Hey, how far are you on those lyrics?” One of the other composers that took part in the new song asked - they weren’t pressuring you at all, but since the date of the song release was coming near, everyone was on edge.
“It’s coming along… It might not be what you guys expect it to be though…” You murmured softly, staring at the black scribbles on the papers in front of you.
“That’s fine. Whatever you compose usually becomes a big hit! Don't worry too much about it, okay? We can work our way around it. If anything, I’ll bring what I’ve written to our next meeting and we can figure out how to put the song together.”
“That would be great. Thank you…”
“Good luck! I’ll check on you in a little bit.”
Once the phone call was over, you placed the phone on the table and let out a shaky sigh.
“Damn it… I can’t do this… What am I doing with this song?” You groaned to yourself, feeling a new set of tears threatening to spill. “I ruined it…”
Everyone was nice to you and treated you like family, but it was during the times where you were suffering mentally the most that you felt that you were becoming a burden to everyone - you were one of the best composers in SM and you worked day and night to come up with new songs.
What the people in SM didn’t know, besides one person you had confided in recently, was that you were going through some tough times by yourself that needed to be attended to but neglected to do so. You agreed to take the job, knowing the risks, but obviously stress came with every job - it caught onto you faster than you could prepare yourself and the feeling of loneliness without your family and friends from home strangled you inside.
You didn’t know many people in SM that you were close enough to disclose personal information and feelings to - the girl group you composed for had other things on their plate than your worries and the staff you communicated with had their own jobs to worry about. When you were composing with Taeyong, you actually had a moment where you could freely talk to him; he became a friend that you could confide in and an older brother you could talk to.
You wanted to call Taeyong to talk to him about the things you were going through mentally, but you were still at that stage that you didn’t want to bother him.
The song you were trying to compose ended up being a lot sorrowful than the concept it was supposed to be - the girls were supposed to have this bright and girly concept, but this song was way too depressing. So now you were panicking, because you couldn’t conjure up positive feelings.
Mark bit the bottom of his lips as he heard you crying again.
It pained him a lot to hear that how discouraged you were despite being such a good songwriter. But then again, he knew that being alone and working by yourself to make other songs for other people was extremely difficult - especially if the people who love you and support you are far away. Mark didn’t know what that was like since he had his members with him and his fans, but you didn’t have that leisure because the people who loved your songs didn’t really know who you were besides a name to a list of credits.
He stood up from his seat, not being able to sit there without doing nothing to help you.
You were surprised when you saw someone standing near you with a sad look in his eyes. Feeling slightly concerned and panicked, you quickly wiped away your tears.
“Sorry...I um… I kind of was here for the past ten minutes…” Mark apologized awkwardly, trying not to make you feel uncomfortable by staring at you. He didn’t know where to look so he placed his gaze on your music sheets. The amount of scribbles on the papers broke his heart - you were trying to come up with a new song from scratch.
“I-It’s okay… I wasn’t b-bother to you, was I…?” You sniffed and gave him an apologetic look. “I must be pretty weird...just crying out of nowhere…”
“No, it’s not weird at all,” Mark shook his head before hesitating if it was okay to sit down in front of you or not. You noticed how awkward it was to just have him stand and motioned for him to sit down. He did and put his earbuds and phone away to the side. “-I’m Mark.”
“I know who you are,” You chuckled softly. “-you’re the boy who keeps debutting.”
Mark let out a sheepish laugh with pink cheeks before nodding.
“That’s me… You’re Y/N, right? You and Taeyong-hyung worked on some of our songs together a while back.”
“Yeah, I’m surprised you remember my name…”
“Who wouldn’t? You’re one of the best songwriters in SM,” Mark grinned. “-you’re famous around here.”
“Well...I’m about to be not famous anymore after this song…” You let out a soft sigh, turning your attention back to the music sheets in front of you. “I’m trying to come up with a song that matches a bright and girly concept. Instead, I came up with a monstrous sad excuse for a song…”
“Hey, it doesn’t matter who you’re writing the song for,” Mark frowned slightly. “-you are an incredible composer nonetheless, right? Do you mind if I take a look at it?”
You hesitated before opening your lyrics folder and handed him the neat sheet of papers. Mark seriously read though the lyrics and you even let him listen to an audio demo you were working on. He hummed and even sang to the song softly to himself.
Mark was in love with the song - it showed the hardships you were going through and your actual feelings at the moment. The whole piece was not a sad excuse for a song at all; it was a unique work of art and the whole meaning of the song was relatable. He looked up at you as you were staring at him in anticipation; as soon as both of your eyes met, Mark could see this discomforting loneliness and sadness reflected from your eyes while you saw nothing more than amazement in his.
“This song is amazing, Y/N… You don't need to scrap it and make a new one. This song is perfect.”
 “But...the concept-”
“Screw the concept,” Mark grinned. “-instead… how about you make this song for me?”
“W-What? B-But there aren’t any rap parts in my song…”
“I can write some in to fit your lyrics and you can sing the ballad part.”
“Wait, Mark...I-I can’t sing…” You murmured softly, rubbing your arm nervously.
“Your recordings say otherwise,” He held up your phone with a chuckle. “-let’s try it out and see. I can ask my hyungs to see if they can help you with the other song for the girls. We’ll help you get through this.”
Despite only knowing Mark for a short amount of time, he had proven to you to be a great confinement. He understood your feelings and provided the support you needed to feel confident again. You agreed to his suggestion and exchanged numbers to work on it.
After a week and a half of working on the cheerful song with NCT and on your collaboration with Mark, you found yourself in a predicament - it was safe to say Mark was growing on you and you couldn’t help but stick to him for comfort. You smiled a lot more with him and he managed to bring out the optimistic side of you.
“You didn’t tell me you knew how to draw.” Mark leaned over your shoulder as you were preparing to record a music video with your drawings and the song; SM agreed and finalized everything so that it was okay for you to go through with the collaboration.
“It’s not that good so I didn’t bother telling you… My hand is cramping up though,” You sighed, placing the marker down beside the whiteboard before stretching. There were staff members who helped out with the recording, but they were taking a break while you practiced drawing some scenes out. “-I’ve been here for about four hours already.”
Mark moved closer to you and suddenly took your hand in his. Your eyes widened and you quickly became flustered as he started massaging your hands gently.
“You’re doing great,” he smiled softly. “-you know… this is going to officially be your first debut.”
“And it’s going to be like your fourth debut.” You stated, making him laugh. “I don't know, Mark… What if I’m not ready…? The song is perfect like you said and this music video is going to be great as soon as it’s edited, but...what if people don't like it?”
“No way. They’re going to love it. Stop doubting yourself, okay? You got this in the bag, Y/N. I believe in you.”
Mark’s words got to you and motivated you to feel a bit more confident in yourself. After the music video shooting, the editors and directors went through each clip to edit them while you were free for the whole day to relax. Mark stayed with you the entire time (sometimes some of his group members would drop by to check on us from time to time) and treated you to fried chicken.
Both of you sat in the dance studio with two boxes of fried chicken, a liter of soda and a side of fries and ate them in peace, conversing from different topics.
“Hey kiddos!” Johnny appeared with Taeyong as they both took a seat near you two. “How come you didn’t invite us to eat chicken?!”
“It’s obvious we were interrupting their ‘date’,” Taeyong muttered the last part, frowning at Johnny for making him stay as well. “-I’ll buy you fried chicken later if you still want to eat it.”
“I just wanted to check up on them and see how they’re doing,” Johnny grinned before turning to you. “-Y/N, you should join us for dinner tomorrow night. We’re gonna go get BBQ to commend you guys for upcoming launch of the single.”
“If that’s okay with you guys, I don't mind.” You smiled happily.
“Did you guys need anything else?” Mark arched an eyebrow in suspicion - Taeyong might not have an agenda, but he felt like Johnny had some sort of devious plan in mind.
“I just wanted to say… MARK LIKES YOU AND THINKS YOU’RE INCREDIBLY GORGEOUS BYE. LET’S GO TAEYONG. SEE YOU LATER MARK. BWAHAHA.”
Johnny blurted out loud and Taeyong’s eyes widened as well as Mark’s.
Mark’s jaw dropped in disbelief and you just stared at Johnny running out of the studio in a panic.
“I’ll go take care of it…” Taeyong sighed and stood up carefully. “Have fun, kids! And don't worry about Johnny.”
Once Taeyong left, there was a very awkward and embarrassing tension in the air. You blinked in confusion as to what had happened and turned to Mark whose entire face was bright red.
 “Um…”
“...I’m sorry… I wasn’t planning on having you find out that way…” Mark muttered softly, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. “I was going to wait a while longer since we’re so busy…”
“You...like me?” You felt your own cheeks turn hot.
“Y-Yeah…I think it was that first day we officially met that I became interested in you…” His face turned bright red as he tried to look anywhere besides you. “I admired your talent… and I guess after we started talking and working on that song together, I started...um...developing feelings for you…”
You couldn’t find yourself to look at Mark either at the sudden confession.
 “O-Oh…”
To be honest, you didn’t really take too much interest in guys; not since you became close to Mark of course. He was the first guy that you could be yourself and be comfortable around; he was also the reason you became friends with the members of NCT as well. You opened up more and you started to see the boys as your second family.
Now that you knew Mark had feelings for you… You didn’t know what to do; it was your first time being confessed to. Sure, you thought Mark was cute and that he made you warm and at home sometimes, but because you two were merely just friends, you didn’t think much about anything romantic or more intimate.
Mark slowly turned his gaze to you at your short reply to see that you were just blushing furiously; you were speechless and you were so clueless of what to do. He thought you were insanely cute, but at the same time, he didn’t know what you were thinking or if you felt the same way. Instead of jumping to conclusions, he took it slow and made sure not to make you feel uncomfortable.
“Do you...like me too?” He asked softly.
“I-I uh….um…” You stumbled over your words, unable to form coherent sentences. “A-Ah...I...I do… b-but this is just so sudden...I didn’t think you’d… f-feel that way about me…”
“W-We don't have to do anything! I don't...I don't want to make you awkward… I wanted to wait a bit before I told you...because I knew you had no interest in boys o-or relationships…”
“U-Um… h-how about we just s-start off with some d-dates…?” Your ears were literally burning and bright red; you had no intentions of rejecting Mark, but at the same time you wanted to get to know him a bit more before jumping into the whole relationship-and-what-happens-afterwards aspect.
“Do you...want to go see a movie later then?” Mark asked, his voice suddenly getting a bit higher in anxiousness; he cleared his throat embarrassingly and smiled shyly. “I-I know you’ve been wanting to go watch that superhero movie…”
“That would be great actually…” You smiled shyly back and he let out a laugh.
Sitting at the same spot near the window in the lounge area, you continued to focus on composing a new song that you’d be singing with Doyoung, Jaehyun and Taeil that would be a part of NCT’s upcoming mini album. It’s been six months since your first mv with Mark released and you received a lot of recognition for your talent at both composing and singing. You debuted as a solo artist a couple weeks afterwards with another song that Mark helped you come up with and since then, you’d been busy.
You mostly sang with NCT members, but there were some times where other idols in Red Velvet or EXO would ask you to sing with them in a duet or unit and you’d agree to do so. In your free time when you weren’t out performing at on different music shows or concerts, you were writing songs or spending time with Mark when he wasn’t busy.
You leaned over to the table to pick up some lyrics you had written earlier to see if you needed to add anything else and your heart skipped a beat when you noticed someone else’s handwriting at the bottom.
“The first day you came into my life, I realized you will stay here until the end. I will love you until the end of time.”
A smile grew on your face as you looked at the occupied seat in front of you. Mark was taking a nap after staying up late helping Taeyong come up with new rap lyrics for one of the songs on the mini album. He looked so precious and innocent when he was asleep; the sunlight hit the high points of his cheeks and you giggled softly at the boy you had grow to adore the past couple months you two were together.
Placing your laptop on the table quietly and carefully, you got up from your seat and tip toed over to Mark. You tucked back a strand of your hair that fell from your face to behind your ear and leaned down to place a soft kiss on his lips; pulling back with a shy smile, you gently fixed his messy bangs and whispered an ‘I love you’ before going back to your seat to continue working.

An amazing fan tribute to Weiki. Unique facts compilation 👌🎃
I've just found the post on DeviantArt. As great Weiki fan also, I can confirm that he's really that marvelous just as the author describes him. This will make you feel warm and will set smile on your face as well as you will check Helloween vids/lives while exploring this facts. So, here we go.
Further credits : SamWeiki
100 Reasons I love Michael Weikath
Possible – scratch that, definite – Fangirling ahead (I tried to keep it to a minimum and I probably failed)
1. He has the most gorgeous blue eyes. [right off, I told you – Fangirling]
2. The songs he writes are so unique and AMAZING. Most of them mean quite a lot to me, as well. I’ve always been drawn to them. They just have a certain special quality to them that I love.
3. He wrote “Keeper of the Seven Keys” for cryin’ out loud!
4. His “thanks” section in the Unarmed booklet.
5. He’d pick Judas Priest over Iron Maiden in an instant.
6. The way he sometimes answers questions. For instance, he was asked about what fans could expect from The Dark Ride and his response was: “Well....hmmmm you can expect that it will be standing in stores and it’s very likely you can buy it when you find it there! hahahahahaha apart from that I don’t know if it’s going to say anything but you can go there and buy it, listen to it, and use it, because it’s a CD and it usually makes a lot of sound if you put it into a CD player......but probably doesn't work if you put it into a toaster.....hahahahahaha.”
7. If he wasn’t a musician, he says his life would be dedicated to cartoons.
8. He dedicated the Hammond version of “Burning Sun” to the great Jon Lord.
9. He’s an artist. His little skull and pumpkin drawing is beautiful.
10. He makes the best faces in concerts.
11. I love watching him in the High Live video, especially during “Steel Tormentor”. [I did not just say that]
12. He made the frog noises at the end of “Nothing to Say”.
13. So many people have blamed him for things over the years, when he did nothing wrong, just because they feel it's easier to blame him. I experience that quite a lot and have for several years, so I understand what it's like but he seems a lot stronger than me about it, as it's very hard for me to get over a lot of that stuff. He's sort of my hero about that because it seems like he hasn't let that really stop him.
14. How he totally told off that Phantom guy. His responses were awesome.
15. A part of “Do You Know What You Are Fighting For is Deep Purple’s “Stormbringer” backwards. There’s actually a lot of Deep Purple in that song. Makes me love it even more – both songs.
16. He played on Uli Kusch’s cover of “Eyes of the World” from the Rainbow tribute album and he played all the guitar on that song. “Yeah I played on Eyes Of The World. So I did all of the guitar work on it. Uli told me that he did not expect me to have the guitar work as close to the original song as I had it.”
17. The seven pronged star on the cover of 7 Sinners was his idea. And what a damn fine idea it was because it makes a freaking sweet album cover! It was a lot of fun for me to draw, as well.
18. When writing “LAVDATE DOMINVM”, he called upon his old Latin lessons from school and actually got to work with his old Latin teacher on the lyrics. Weiki hadn’t worked with Latin for a bit, so he had to relearn a few things and he even managed to correct something his teacher had written.
19. His response to what animal he would be: “A lion, 'cause I could be lyin' round lazy and have my food brought to me by other people.”
20. Helloween would not be Helloween without him, plus Markus and Andi wouldn’t let him quit in 2000/2001.
21. He drew the logo and original pumpkin.
22. How beautiful the lyrics to “Windmill” are. Example:
"Don't feel alone and depressed
Someone will come, at last
To soothe your storming mind
To keep it away from the evil storms."
23. You can clearly hear the man singing in “White Christmas” and he’s the most fun to listen to.
24. “Introduction” never fails to make me laugh very loudly, especially the lyrics to “Rock n’ Roll All Day”.
25. He likes Spinal Tap.
26. The way he sang “Gorgar will eat you” in the Keeper Legacy interviews.
27. He was asked what his motto in life was and his response was: Be as friendly as it comes; have fun, make money and spend it on charity to help people. ~Sei so freundlich wie es geht; Spaß haben, viel Geld verdienen und es für wohltätige Zwecke ausgeben, um Leuten zu helfen~ (it was originally in German)
28. His black and white outfits in the ‘80s and ‘90s, especially those awesome star-printed pants.
29. The entire story of the Keeper of the Seven Keys and Master of the Rings.
30. The Jacuzzi scene in the Keeper Legacy Road movie.
31. He likes Aphrodite’s Child, Nektar, and Camel. He’s cool.
32. I really don’t think I’ve heard him say anything bad about anyone.
33. The moment when he switched his guitar off and “played” a solo after he was introduced in The Legacy concert.
34. “All right… That’s enough! Now, I want to hear Dani’s drum solo!” *rapid fire – BLAMBLAMBLAM!* The first time I watched the “Smoke On the Water” bit from Hellish Rock, I nearly fell to the floor laughing.
35. About the time Pink Bubbles Go Ape came out, in an interview, Michael Kiske said something about they weren’t Metal, they didn’t do that “Heavy Metal” thing and Weiki says, “I thought we were Heavy Metal”. And Michi completely just stopped talking for a second.
36. The way Weiki messed around with Michi and Roland during the interview mentioned above.
37. How much fun he looked like he was having in the “Kids of the Century” video.
38. Every time he dances around on stage.
39. His love for Gibson Les Pauls.
40. He was reading “A Hat Full of Sky” and even recommended it.
41. He says that his writing “Keeper of the Seven Keys” kept him alive and he considers it a major turning point in his life to have come up with the idea for it.
42. The hairspray scene in the Hellish Rock road movie.
43. He actually got involved with the DJ game when they were in Japan (Keeper Legacy road movie) – the whole arcade scene was great.
44. The way he just looks at a camera sometimes and doesn’t say a word – he just starts making faces and looking off in different directions. He can be funny without saying a single word.
45. His guitar solo in “Back On the Ground”.
46. He played most of the guitar on the Better Than Raw album.
47. Weikath Syndrome is the coolest thing to catch.
48. During the German Top 6 video (1993), he was drinking a Capri Sun. I think it may have even been Wild Cherry.
49. A Gibson Les Paul looks absolutely perfect on him. I also love the way he holds the guitar.
50. How his hair has always been shoulder length (at least) since the late ‘80s (and beautiful).
51. He thinks of the younger viewers/fans.
52. All the love for him in the Hellbook.
53. I don’t how much of the lyrics to “Dreambound” he wrote, but he has a credit on that song and OH MY GOD, is it flipping incredible! I must make special mention to how amazing “the Saints” is, too.
54. He wanted to talk to Michael Kiske when they met at a festival in 2012/2013, so they could try and work things out a little.
55. He wanted “Livin’ Ain’t No Crime” to be a single.
56. His song “Number One” and how uplifting and positive the lyrics are, especially the chorus.
57. When they were on the Ferris wheel, they didn’t start REALLY laughing until Weiki did.
58. How he introduces himself as “de Michael Weikath of Helloween” and he even got Dani to do it with him.
59. He contributed a guitar solo to the German Rock Project’s “Let Love Conquer the World” (the long Metal version) but went all incognito with it and is credited as “a member of the Seventh Key”.
60. The fact that he wanted a flute in “Raise the Noise” and it sounds totally awesome!
61. The sexy witch on the cover of Better Than Raw was Weiki’s idea.
62. His makeshift rocking chair.
63. His spoken part of the Dezperadoz song “First Blood” (and “Echoes of Eternity”, too).
64. How funny was in the two Nuremberg interviews from the ‘80s that are on YouTube.
1987 – He lights a cigarette, he passes it Ingo, Ingo passes it back, and Weiki passes it back to him. Ingo then proceeds to throw it on the ground and Weiki attempts to lightly hit him but only manages to hit his hair. xD
1988 – The FUNNY one! He was so frickin’ funny in that one. I won’t give away the end of it if you’ve never seen it, but it involves a balloon and a cigarette. (by the way, Michael Weikath takes his sunglasses off and puts them back on 13 times, 10 of which are in the first three minutes).
65. After an interviewer thanks him for being there, “Ja, that’s not so much I can do about it, because somebody put me on this Earth and I went out of my mother and suddenly I was there and now I have to deal with this crap.”
66. During the Indianapolis Hell On Wheels concert, during “Halloween”, Michi passes the mic over to Weiki and Weiki does the “I’ll show you power and glory” part. Michi then makes a disgruntled face at him and rubs the mic with his shirt, causing Weiki to make a face back at him!
67. Also from the same Hell On Wheels concert, during “A Tale That Wasn’t Right”, he was stepping on the skeleton and making Ingo laugh.
68. Speaking of “A Tale That Wasn’t Right”, that song is incredible and very powerful.
69. He let the other members of the band help out on “Mission Motherland”. That song is very quickly becoming my favorite song of theirs.
70. His backing vocals in the “Sea of Fears” demo.
71. All of his little pins that he wears: the pumpkin, the W, the stars…
72. This comment he made about the Hellbook: “With the hardcover you can better smash your naughty brother... and you can with the regular as well, just maybe not as effective.” I have actually made that joke to my brother before. xD
73. Someone at a meet-n-greet in 2008 showed the band an old picture of the guys, which they all signed. It was an old picture. Kai was stunned, Markus laughed his ass off, and Michael actually said he remembered where it was taken and when. The picture was taken in 1986, so that is kind of impressive.
74. He helped me become a big fan of Deep Purple. Yes, I will admit to only becoming a major Deep Purple fan after becoming a Helloween fan - and it was all because of Weiki. And now I'm really happy because I never realized how awesome Deep Purple is. Same thing with Wishbone Ash.
75. He’s given me several phrases to use whenever applicable.
- “Impressive, isn’t it?”
- “You have to listen with your ears.”
- “It’s nice, cold, windy, sunny weather.” (which pretty much describes Florida in the winter sometimes)
76. He can still sing with a cigarette in his mouth and not drop the cigarette.
77. The intro to “Halloween”. I’m not sure if he played it on the original recording, but when he plays it live… OH MY GOD.
78. His guitar solo in “First Time”.
79. He’s fun to watch in the “When the Sinner” video when he’s shown, especially when he’s playing those power chords in the beginning (even though he played no guitar on the song) and the part in the saloon.
80. How amazing “Les Hambourgeois Walkways” is.
81. He’s written a couple songs that he has dedicated to groups of fans ~ “LAVDATE DOMINVM” for the Latin speaking fans, and “Born on Judgment Day” for the people of Brazil.
82. How he’s so easily able to make Sascha laugh behind the camera.

Joshua Henry has changed theater (and a few diapers)
Tumblr media
Samson Peter Henry, his parents’ first child, made his debut on the cusp of spring, at around 9 o’clock one morning this March. For his mother, Cathryn Henry, a postpartum nurse at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, it was a kind of Have Your Child at Work situation.
For his father, three-time Tony Award-nominated actor Joshua Henry — most recently for his lead performance as Billy Bigelow in Jack O’Brien’s revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Carousel” — Samson’s birth had the advantage of exquisite timing.
“We were in the middle of previews, and like a good boy he came on the day off,” Henry, 33, said over lunch at a diner on the Upper West Side, near his apartment. He’d logged only 3 1/2, maybe four hours of sleep the night before, but he was energetic anyway. When he realized it had been exactly a month since his son was born, he high-fived the reporter across the table.
It’s a bounteous time for Henry, who is toppling a boundary as the first Black actor to play Billy Bigelow on Broadway. Billy is Henry’s highest-profile stage role so far, while becoming a father is, he said, the biggest moment of his life. What’s strange, and powerfully serendipitous, is how perfectly that intersects with the biggest moment in Billy’s life, when he learns of his impending fatherhood.
“My boy, Bill,” Billy exults, envisioning a son in his famous song “Soliloquy.” When Henry performs that solo now — in what Ben Brantley, in his New York Times review, called “a heaven-rumbling voice” — he summons thoughts of his boy, Samson: his face, his strong little body, even his cry. Like Billy, he is awed and invigorated by what he owes to this tiny person in his life. In both men, actor and character, something has changed.
If, when he was 15, Henry had been given a glimpse of his future — the Broadway debut at 23 in “In the Heights”; his first Tony nomination, at 26, for “The Scottsboro Boys”; a second three years later, for “Violet” — it would have seemed foreign to him. The youngest of three children of Jamaican immigrants, who attended a small Christian school north of Miami where his father taught math, he’d always been musical. But he’d never seen professional theater and had no idea it could be a career.
“I had fully intended to work at an accounting firm like my mom,” he said.
Then came an intervention that Henry credits with everything good that came after. When he was 16, his choir teacher, Birgit Fioravante, urged him to audition for the school production of “The Music Man.” He ended up playing the male lead, Harold Hill.
“Afterward, she took me aside and she was crying,” Henry said. “She was like, ‘You can do this for a living.’ And I was like, ‘Do what?’”
In an interview, Fioravante said that she’d worried about encouraging a student to follow a path where the odds against success are so steep. “I’d never done it before,” she said, “and I haven’t done it since.”
For a year, she gave Henry free private voice lessons at her house. She prepared him for his audition at the University of Miami, where he was admitted into the musical theater program and met his wife, who lived across the hall. More recently, Fioravante helped to train him vocally for “Carousel.”
At college, he knew within a week that theater was something he could do for life. From 11:30 p.m. to 3 a.m., alone in a college studio, he would devote his nights to what he calls “Josh obsession time,” honing his skills.
“I would just be there with the mirrors,” he said, “and I would play cast album after cast album after cast album after cast album. And I would start to learn the directors, the music directors, what musical theater was — how it was constructed, how a show was made. While I was listening to music, I was practicing dance.”
He was also studying the careers of Black musical theater actors like Michael McElroy, Taye Diggs, Norm Lewis and Brian Stokes Mitchell. “I was like, if there’s a template for me out there, I have to know exactly what that is,” he said.
Yet even as he searched for that template, he didn’t want to be limited to roles written for Black men. And while he willed himself to believe that he would perform on Broadway within three years of graduation — a goal he wrote down in a planner he still keeps on his desk — he wasn’t sure that the theater, an overwhelmingly white industry, would welcome him.
But his timing, coinciding with the emergence of Lin-Manuel Miranda, turned out to be impeccable.
In the fall of 2006, Henry drove a Penske truck from Florida to New York and moved into a basement apartment in Washington Heights. Within weeks, he was cast in the original ensemble of Miranda and Quiara Alegría Hudes’ breakthrough off-Broadway musical “In the Heights.”
The show was “from a world I was from, from a vocabulary musically that was all about hip-hop, R&B, salsa and reggaeton,” Henry said, recalling the production’s first read-through, when musical director Alex Lacamoire sat at a piano and sang “96,000,” surrounded by a company of Latino and Black actors.
“I was having flashbacks of the nights at 3 in the morning, trying to find myself and my craft and wondering if there was a — not knowing if there was a — hoping,” Henry said, hitting that word hard, “that there was a place for me in this business. I lost it. I was crying so much in that read-through. A lot of us were.”
After he did that show, which transferred to Broadway in early 2008, “couldn’t nobody tell me anything about where I’m supposed to be,” he said.
It means something to him, then, to play a classic role like Billy Bigelow. Billy, though, is a dark-hearted carnival barker who beats his wife. Henry is so gentle-spirited that the director George C. Wolfe, who worked with him on “Shuffle Along,” remarks on the rare sweetness he exudes, while composer Jeanine Tesori, who worked with him on “Violet,” mentions his “radical kindness.” He didn’t have many ways, aside from fatherhood, to connect with Billy.
To Henry, playing this deeply flawed man in a show with a famously glorious score is “an opportunity to leave a bigger mark than just the notes and the scenes” — to expand younger Black actors’ notion of what they can hope to do onstage. He was cautious, though, when producer Scott Rudin floated the idea of the role. In a musical that’s controversial for its seeming indifference to domestic violence, casting a Black actor ran the risk of demonizing Black men.
“My first question to him, when he approached me about it,” Henry said, “was ‘How are you looking at this cast? Are you trying to use the fact that I am an African-American man to tell the story?’ That wasn’t his thought. He was like, ‘I want to get the best people to tell the story.’”
That is largely how his casting has been received, though Hilton Als, the most prominent Black critic in the American theater, found another dimension in it. He argued approvingly in The New Yorker that the production — which has a white Julie Jordan, played by Tony winner Jessie Mueller — offers a rare instance of colorblind casting in which thought has been given to a Black character’s presence in a largely white world.
Aside from his ensemble role in Green Day’s “American Idiot” in 2010, all of Henry’s Broadway roles until “Carousel” were written to be performed by men of color, often in stories about Black culture — most recently “Shuffle Along,” in 2016, about the first Black musical. After that, he spent 15 months playing Aaron Burr in “Hamilton,” in Chicago and then on tour, in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
He was playing Burr last summer when he and his wife found out she was pregnant. Suddenly “Dear Theodosia,” Burr’s tender pledge to his little girl, became a song that Henry was singing to his unborn child. A couple of times — on the lyric “I’ll do whatever it takes, I’ll make a million mistakes, I’ll make the world safe and sound for you” — his voice cracked with emotion onstage.
Early in the run of “Carousel,” he’d been singing to his unborn boy, too, tapping into his own anticipation to portray Billy’s in “Soliloquy.” As Samson’s due date approached, Henry’s castmates teased him, saying he’d never be able to sing it the same way again. The first time he had to perform it as a father, the day after the baby’s birth, he didn’t know how he would.
“I’d only gotten like two hours’ sleep,” he said. “You want to let go in the character, you want to let go emotionally, but I was concerned that if I did that, I would feel the actual feelings that I’m feeling in my….”
He broke off, paused a long moment, misted up, exhaled. “Um. And if I felt all those things, I still had to sing the song, this 7 1/2-minute mammoth of a song. There are certain technical things you have to do to just get through it. I don’t even remember that show. I thought I would.”
Mueller does. She gathered with some other actors to watch “Soliloquy” from the wings that night.
“Because it was a moment, you know?” she said. “I was thinking about him a lot, because I knew he has the most on his shoulders in this play. I was so surprised by how calm he seemed.”
O’Brien, their Tony-winning director, remembers, too. The change he saw in Henry’s “Soliloquy” was so profound that it altered the structure of the production. In the first weeks of previews, O’Brien recalled, he had often been moved “but not stunned” by what struck him as a concert-perfect, too-safe performance of the song.
“The weekend that the baby was born, it was like a dam burst inside him,” O’Brien said. “I didn’t say anything about it. He just started to relate, I think, to the depth of his own feelings, and wow. You know, there’s another scene in Act 1 as written, and we decided we were idiots to do it, because he was hitting the high point in the show, and what did you want to see after that? Nothing.”
So in this “Carousel,” that’s when the first-act curtain falls, with the company’s festive departure for the clambake cut from the show.
In Samson’s life, of course, the curtain has only just risen. And his father — brimming with plans as usual, including for a funk and soul album of mostly original songs that he hopes to drop in September — feels the effect this small person is having.
Henry had always been an ace at compartmentalizing, filing away for later anything he didn’t want to think about right then, keeping the personal firmly separate from the professional.
Samson, apparently, doesn’t play by those rules.
“It’s so weird,” Henry said. “He is rounding my edges a little bit. He’s making me see this is all one thing.”

Voice of an Angel - Keith x Reader
Anon Requested: Could you do an imagine for our one and only emo Keithy boy where his s/o (whom he's never heard sing before) is singing with Lance and they sound like REAL GOOD and Keith gets lowkey jealous and also all like 'wtf you can sing? Oml!'
A/N: I had a lot of fun writing this one, space karaoke people...space karaoke! Sorry it took a while to get out requester, hopefully you enjoy it, thanks for the request. :D
***********
A surprise. That’s what Pidge had said, she had a surprise for everyone.
As Y/N followed Pidge down the corridor with the rest of the group, she began to wonder what on earth this surprise could be. Knowing Pidge it was either: a: something really awesome, b: some ridiculous prank or c: Some complicated machine that she had rigged up and that only Hunk would understand.
“So what do you reckon this surprise is, something good, something bad or something complicated?” Keith whispered in Y/N’s ear as he walked up beside her.
Y/N couldn’t help but smile at the fact that Keith had basically voiced her inner thoughts. This certainly wasn’t a new occurrence, she and Keith were often on the same wavelength, it was part of what made them a good couple.
Y/N tried to read Pidge’s facial expression, she was smirking, which told Y/N absolutely nothing about her plan.
“No idea, but I say we stay near the doorway just in case we need to escape” Y/N suggested and Keith smirked and nodded in response.
But as soon as they entered the room after Pidge, Y/N knew that this was Pidge’s most awesome surprise yet; Lance seemed to agree as he rushed forward, his eyes wide, with a huge grin on his face.
“Is that a... Karaoke machine?” Y/N asked as Lance was looking at the machine, practically bouncing on the spot.
“Yup, I managed to get one from the space mall last week, took a some tinkering but Hunk and I managed to get it to play songs from Earth” Pidge said, pushing her glasses up her nose with a smug grin.
Lance rounded on Hunk, with a shocked expression “Hunk! How could you not tell me about this buddy?”
Y/N was surprised too, Hunk had many strengths, but keeping secrets (especially from Lance), was not one of them.
“I’m sorry, I wanted to tell you but Pidge really wanted it to be a surprise” Hunk said sadly, pouting slightly at Lance.
“Hmm, well I guess I can forgive you...If you come and do a duet with me”
“Oh yeah totally, what do you wanna sing?” Hunk asked.
Lance and Hunk browsed through the songs whilst the rest of the Paladins took seats on the sofa’s.
“I am so looking forward to hearing some of your traditional ballads” Allura said clapping her hands together enthusiastically.
“Well there’s some Altean songs on there too, so you and Coran can have a go too” Pidge offered, which made Allura and Coran equally excited.
“Hmm what about Toxic? Or maybe Sex on Fire?” Lance suggested as Keith sat next to Y/N and loudly asked if anyone had any ear plugs.
Lance scowled over at Keith before Hunk nudged him and pointed to a song on the list. “Yeah! That’s a good one, let’s do it!” Lance said enthusiastically before coughing and readying himself near the microphone.
As it turned out Hunk had chosen ‘Don’t Stop Believing’, it also turned out that neither Lance nor Hunk were as bad at singing as Keith had initially believed, and Lance was certainly...Enthusiastic.
When they were finished they received a loud round of applause and Lance took an exaggerated bow whilst Hunk rubbed the back of his neck and smiled sheepishly.
Next up was Allura and Coran who chose an Altean song called “Blown straight to Wazblay”, it was much slower than the previous song and had a lot of lyrics that made no sense to Y/N, but Coran and Allura appeared to be enjoying themselves.
“Hey, you wanna go up with me next?” Lance asked quietly, nudging Y/N in the side, as the Altean pair appeared to be reaching the end of their song.
“Um, I dunno...I’m not that good at singing” Y/N whispered back
“Don’t worry, neither is Lance” Keith said with a smirk, not even looking in Lance’s direction. Before Lance could retort however, the room erupted into applause again as Allura and Coran finished their song.
“C’mon Y/N it’ll be fun, I’ll even let you pick the song if you want” Lance pleaded.
“Fine, fine, only because I know you won’t shut up about it otherwise” Y/N relented. In all honesty she loved to sing, she used to be in a choir when she was younger and she’d taken part in a couple of school musicals as the lead female, she’d had a great time too... But then her school work had gotten to be too much and she’d had to give it up.
She gave Keith a quick kiss on the cheek and he told her to break a leg as she headed to the microphone with Lance. She managed to find a good song fairly quickly, she showed Lance and he beamed “See, I knew you were the perfect choice Y/N”.
Keith watched as Y/N settled in front of the mic and the music started and as soon as Lance sang the first line, Keith nearly groaned.
“Summer lovin’, had me a blast”
But when Y/N sang the next line the groan caught in his throat and he had to cough in surprise, because...Wow.
“Summer lovin’, happened so fast”
Y/N was a really good singer. Lance wasn’t terrible, as much as Keith liked to tease him, but Y/N? She was on a whole different level. Even Lance seemed surprised and almost forgot to sing the next line.
Looking around Keith could see that everyone else was equally impressed, but that was soon forgotten when it came time for the “tell me more, tell me more” parts of the song, which everyone (other than Keith, who was way too focused on Y/N) joined in with, even Coran and Allura quickly got the hang of it.
It wasn’t just her voice that made it impossible for Keith to take his eyes off of his girlfriend, it was how she lit up as she sang. She clearly really loved it and was giving it her all, even shimmying and swaying in time with the beat.
And all of this made Keith’s gut curl in jealousy, because he should be the one up there with you, making you feel like that, certainly not Lance and certainly not when they were singing a romantic duet together.
His jealousy quickly melted into embarrassment though when Y/N sang the line “Then we made our true love vow” whilst looking directly at him and shooting him a quick wink, which caused a couple of the group wolf whistle and Keith to turn pink.
The embarrassment faded away back to awe though when Y/N sang that final line.
“But oh-oh those su-ummer nights!” Because Keith realised, Y/N, as good as she had been before, had been holding back and Keith was now pretty damn sure Y/N’s singing voice was the most beautiful thing he’d ever heard.
Even Lance was so shocked he couldn’t join in, he just stared at Y/N with an shocked expression.
When Y/N had finished she looked around in confusion at the stunned silence that descended upon the group, it only lasted a moment however, before the whole room began cheering, clapping and whistling in appreciation for Y/N’s performance. She looked over at Lance who could only reply with “Hey don’t look at me, that was all you”.
Y/N quickly scurried back to her seat next to Keith with pink cheeks and smiled sheepishly at Keith.
“Why didn’t you tell me you could sing like that?” Keith queried after a moment.
“It never came up” Y/N shrugged “Besides I’m not that good”
“No seriously, you were amazing up there, you light up the whole room when you sing you know that?”
“You’re just saying that”
“No I’m really not, don’t believe me? You know as well as I do that when Lance is willing to give you all of the credit for something he helped with, you must have done an amazing job” Keith finished with a smile, Y/N had to laugh at that because he had a point.
Keith opened his mouth to say something else. “Hold that thought Keith, this is gonna be good” Y/N said, pointing to Pidge, who was dragging a reluctant Shiro to sing with her.
“Now this is more like it” Keith said and wound his arm around Y/N’s shoulders as Pidge and Shiro started to sing ‘We Will Rock You’ and the whole room (Keith included) began to stomp and clap in time with the beat and sing along with the chorus.

[TRANS/MAGAZINE] Singles March 2017 Issue: Chen Your collaboration song with Dynamic Duo, ‘Nosedive’, won first place on a music show after getting first place on online music charts. It happened just yesterday. I was surprised when I heard the news. Every award is meaningful, but it felt even more special since we won without going on music shows. To be honest, you and Dynamic Duo working together was a bit unexpected. How did it happen? When I visited Gaeko’s studio for the first time, we talked about a lot of things. I was telling him about how I grew up listening to his music, and (he said) ‘what if we actually worked together on a song?’ Having the opportunity to work with Dynamic Duo, I was able to fulfill yet another one of my dreams. Many people have said they felt comforted by the song. Something I focused on the most while recording the song was the lyrics. Rather than showcasing my voice, I wanted people to be able to hear the lyrics clearly. The lyrics also seem to go well with the music video’s mood. Neither Dynamic Duo nor I appear in the music video, but Ryu Boksong’s presence was enough to make a great music video. Last year, you worked on many different projects. EXO released three albums, and you also participated in EXO-CBX promotions and released an OST for a drama. 2016 was a year that filled me with many ambitions as a singer. I especially felt that way during the EXO-CBX promotions. Right after ‘Hey Mama!’ promotions ended, I even talked to Xiumin and Baekhyun about the next album. I don’t know when or with what kind of song we will make a comeback, but we have been talking about it. People have said that you and Punch’s song ‘Everytime’ from made the drama even more entertaining. I’m thankful if they thought that way. But I should be thanking the actors and the drama instead. Thanks to the OST, people started to recognize my voice. You also sang the OSTs for and . What is your main concern when you’re recording a song that’s to appear in a drama? When singing the OST for , I got D.O.’s help. I asked him for advice on which way of singing will best match the show’s mood. Recently, I’ve been trying to study the message behind the song itself rather than studying the drama and its characters. Since I’m not an actor, I think it’s more appropriate to approach it musically. If I can sing with a full understanding of the song, I’m sure it will also prove to be fitting for the scenes of the drama. I heard that when you sing, you care the most about conveying emotions whereas most young singers nowadays like to focus on technique and singing methods. I want to sing in the way I’m good at and the way I prefer to sing. When I listen to a new song, the first thing I hear is its lyrics, so I want the people who are listening to my songs to focus on the lyrics as well. To effectively deliver the lyrics’ meaning, you need to capture the underlying emotions and vice versa; when you sing with those emotions, people will be able to hear the lyrics better. However, I’m not saying that technical skills aren’t important. I still have a lot to learn, so I am always practicing to be better in the areas I lack in. But you’re EXO’s main vocal and regarded as a great vocalist even outside of EXO? I still have a long way to go. I have never felt satisfied after hearing my recording. There are so many great singers in this world too. What kind of technical skill do you want to improve on? Groove. There is a huge gap in my ability to sing ballad and R&B. When you’re on a team, you can clearly see what your strengths and weaknesses are as well as your team members’. Seeing each other like that must be motivating for you guys. It’s been six years since we debuted. Now, just by stepping foot inside the recording studio, I can see how the members have improved. I can feel how much our experience of recording numerous songs in the past has benefited us. Naturally, when it’s my turn to sing, it pushes me to try harder. Since you’re a member of a performance team with many members, there hasn’t been many opportunities like the OSTs and stages to showcase your capability as a vocalist. Do you sometimes feel the urge to sing more? Since we are a team, it takes time for everyone to get noticed and recognized as individuals. I get to sing as much as I want in the practice room. I usually feel satisfied after doing that. My ultimate dream is to be able to sing a self-composed song written in my favorite style. What’s your favorite song to sing in the practice room lately? Beyonce’s ‘Hello’. It’s not a recently released song, but I recently came across it while driving. It’s a high pitched song since it’s sung by a female artist, but the song was so good that I decided to adjust it to fit my own vocal range. By the way, it was interesting how you recommended Lucia and Epitone project’s songs under a music page of this one website. I want to keep an open mind when listening to songs. I even keep indie songs in my playlist and look up the ones that catch my attention, and that’s how I found the song ‘Will You Love Me For a Season Like Flowers’. Are you saying that you, a member of the hottest boy group right now, understand that sentiment? I’m actually very old fashioned. I’m not on social media, and I don’t go on the Internet often. There’s no specific reason for it; it just kind of happened. Sometimes, my friends make fun of me by saying I’m technologically challenged. Are you okay with not keeping up and not knowing about the things that everyone else knows about? I don’t really care much. I just like to live at my own pace. You seem like you know your own mind well. I think you need to have confidence in yourself. If not, you are going to sway. It’s easier to just go your own way and follow your beliefs. Honestly, that’s why I’m waiting right now to release self-composed songs. People around me have been telling me to try different styles and find what I like, but I’m more about figuring out what kind of music I want to do first before actually going at it. I don’t feel the need to rush, and I’m thinking like ’when it’s the right time, I’ll do it’. Because I’m going to do music for the rest of my life (there’s plenty of time). Like fruit, it will eventually ripen with time. What is something that has changed the most, before and after debut? Before, I was shy and lacked confidence. I used to get nervous and couldn’t talk in front of a crowd, and that’s changed after I became a member of EXO. Even among the EXO members, the fans like to group Xiumin and Chen together and they call you ‘Kim Brothers’. You guys admit that you two are very close; when do you feel like Xiumin knows you too well? He knows my likes and dislikes too well. So whenever we go somewhere together, he prepares the things that I like and tries to avoid the things that I dislike. Sometimes it even feels like he’s my personal manager. It’s convenient for me, so (I have no complaints)… He is good at reading other people in general. It gives me chills when I see that he knows so many things about the other members that I’ve never known about. You’ve mentioned before that you want to learn from Xiumin’s professionalism. You’ve said that he never shows up to practice unprepared. Is it true, even when you’re on a busy schedule? I try to avoid looking unprofessional and making mistakes. I hate feeling ashamed on stage. Even though I don’t go on the Internet much, I always monitor the performances that I’ve been in. I used to feel so guilty about the smallest mistakes, but nowadays I don’t dwell on the past too much. If I were to list EXO’s accomplishments, domestic or international, the list would be endless. EXO’s been around for 6 years, but is there something that’s still shocking and unbelievable even for you? Winning the daesang for four years in a row! It’s difficult to win an award like that even once in your lifetime, but we won it four years in a row. I’m both amazed and grateful. If you didn’t debut as Chen of EXO, what do you think you’d be doing right now? I also wonder about that often. Um, I used to want to major in applied music. I guess I would’ve kept studying music, and I would probably be preparing to become a trainer or a teacher right now. Just like how I relieve stress by singing, I hope other people can live while enjoying music too. I would like to help people realize the joy of music.

When You Go (Part 2)
Words: 3.8k (This really got away from me)
Summary: Misha saw you perform the song about him and confronts you about it.
A/N: Still no hate for Vicky; this is a fictional story and in real life I love Vicky, Misha, and their family. Written on mobile, so there may be errors. Warnings contain spoilers.
Warnings: More angst, feels trip, language, descriptive smut (including male and female receiving oral and unprotected sex)
—————
“Misha?! What are you doing here? I thought you had…plans.” The last word come out much more bitter than anticipated.
He gave a sad smile and explained “I, uh, heard you were going to sing, so I cancelled them. I couldn’t NOT see you perform.”
You couldn’t believe what was happening, you’ve barely said a word to each other for the last year and here he was interested in your singing. It was then that it dawned on you exactly what song he heard you sing and you were mortified.
What felt like an eternity of awkward silence passed when you finally blurted out, “Look, you weren’t ever supposed to hear that. Uh.. sorry.” You swallowed thickly as your mouth turned into a desert. “Anyways, it was good to see you and all but I, uh, I’m gonna head back to my room now…ya know, I’m kinda tired…” You internally cringed as how awkward that sentence came out and cleared your throat nervously.
“Y/N, wait. Can we talk? Maybe somewhere more private?” he asked sweetly. You wondered why he always had to be so sweet, especially at a time like this.
“Um, maybe later bab…” you caught yourself and shook your head. “Uh.. um…Misha. I’m really tired, I need to go.”
You had almost called him babe and you thought you were going to start crying right there. You wanted the awkwardness over so you quickly turned to walk away.
You stopped in your tracks when you felt a hand softly grip yours and heard him speak in a low, sad voice. “Please don’t walk away from me, Y/N.”
Suddenly, you weren’t sad and flustered anymore. You were downright pissed off. All the pain from the break up bubbled back to the surface. He left you! He cheated on you! He had no right to ask you not to walk away from him. “Don’t you dare tell ME not to walk away!” You snarled at him. Realizing you were making a scene, you stepped closer to him and lowered your voice to a loud whisper. “You walked away from me, remember? You. Left. Me.” Every word was dripping with animosity. You yanked your hand from his and stormed off leaving him looking dejected.
————-
Pacing back and forth in your hotel ranting aloud to no one, “What an asshole! He wants to talk? About what? He probably just wants to apologize for banging his perfect new girlfriend so he doesn’t have to feel guilty about it anymore.” You felt all the old wounds started to rip back open as the tears fell. You fell on to the bed and cried like you did the night he left. You still loved him, you knew you always would. You had felt like a shell of a person since he left. After trying so hard to fake being whole for the last year, you felt like you were crumbling all over again.
After hours of laying in bed and feeling sorry for yourself, you decided you needed to pull your shit together the only way you thought how: Take a shower, eat some junk food, drink some wine (maybe a lot of wine,) and binge watch something mindless on Netflix.
Snuggled back in bed with your big fluffy robe and a now half empty wine bottle you were feeling a little more comfortable and pleasantly buzzed when you heard a knock on the door. You knew immediately who it was because it was as it was well after midnight. You hadn’t wanted to see him when you were looking your best tonight, you certainly didn’t want to see him looking like you had been crying for a week. Trying your best to remain quiet, you hoped he’d just go away.
Your hopes were dashed when you heard Mishas voice, “Y/N? I know you’re in there. Don’t make me pay off housekeeping to let me in.” You let out an annoyed sigh and rolled your eyes; you knew he’d make good on that threat.
Attempting to make him leave, you yelled through the door, “Dammit, Misha. I thought I made myself clear. Just… go.” Your voice cracked at the last word. You couldn’t see it, but Misha physically winced at having heard you say those very words to him again.
He never wanted to hurt you. He wanted you to be happy. He thought you were until he heard your song. Hearing that almost broke him. You were right, he left you. He walked away. He tried to move on by dating Vicki. She was great, but she wasn’t you. Thoughts of you crossed his mind every single day when he was with her and even though it made him feel guilty, he couldn’t bring himself to stop. He needed you in his life again, even if you weren’t together. He just wanted to see you happy again.
Please, Y/N, I… just…” his voice cracking as he pressed his forehead against the door, “please, just talk to me.”
You wanted to be happy to hear him in pain, but you couldn’t. Hearing his pleading voice outside your hotel room door was too much, you weren’t that cruel. When you finally opened the door you saw that he looked just as heartbroken as you did. “Fine. Come in. You’ve got 5 minutes,” you huffed, trying to sound composed.
You took a deep breath while you both sat down on the edge of the bed. “Misha, I’m sorry about the song. Like I said earlier, you were never supposed to hear it. I should have just kept it to myself instead of risking you hearing it just so I could perform it once.” You tried to maintain eye contact, but those blue eyes were making it hard to keep yourself together. You chose to look down at your fingernails instead.
Misha paused for a second trying to understand why you would apologize for writing and performing something that obviously meant so much to you. “Don’t apologize, Y/N. I meant what I said earlier; the song was beautiful. YOU were beautiful; but you always were when you sang. I just don’t understand where the lyrics came from. I mean, I did leave, yes, but only after you pushed me away and told me to go. I never wanted to leave, I just thought that’s what you wanted.”
“You really think that was it, that was the end of our relationship?” You felt yourself slipping back into anger again. “Our relationship was dead long before you walked out on me. You ripped me apart and then just walked away leaving a mess behind. I’m a fraction of what I was because of you! I was finally starting to feel like maybe I’d be ok again, until you had to wander back and act like you were the one that got hurt.” You were a sobbing mess now. “Fuck you, Misha! Just go back to your new chick. That’s where you’d rather be anyways.”
It killed him to hear you so upset. He left to make you happy, not to make you more miserable. But now he was getting angry as well. He had been forced to sacrifice his own happiness to try to make you happy and now here you were, rubbing it into his face.
“What the fuck are you talking about?! You didn’t want me around. Everything I said, everything I did wasn’t what you wanted. For fucks sake, Y/N, you wouldn’t even look at me anymore!” He took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down. “I loved you more than anything, I… still do. But you clearly didn’t feel the same, so I left; hoping it was what you needed to be happy. You’re not the only person who was shattered by this. And now, you’re mad because I tried my best to move on, to try and find a sliver of my own happiness? Do you even understand how unfair that is?”
You let out an annoyed laugh, “You’re still going with that story, huh? That you started dating AFTER we broke up. Come on, give me some credit Misha; I’m not that stupid. You could at least be honest with me now. What do you have to lose at this point?”
Misha wasn’t as upset as he should have been, he was more confused. “Wait… what? You didn’t think…” He trailed off as he began to realize what you had thought of him. You looked up and only saw pain on his face. “How could you think that? How could you ever think I could do that to you, to us?!” He ran his fingers through his hair, obviously getting frustrated. “God, Y/N, what the fuck? I knew you got a little jealous, but that was just… fun, a game we played. I never wanted anyone but you, ever.” He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. “I still don’t.”
“What about Vicki?“ You tried to sound annoyed, but hearing him tell you that he wanted you made it hard. It was all you had really wanted to hear for the last year. You wanted him to choose you and now you were faced with the reality that he had always wanted you. But you had been too blinded by your jealousy and insecurities to see it. You had thrown out your relationship and the person who loved you as much as you loved him because you couldn’t bring yourself to simply talk to him about the problem. You felt like such an idiot.
“What about her? We are still friends, but she wasn’t who I really wanted… ” he trailed off momentarily, “Hold on. Did you think it was Vicki? Did you think I was was sleeping with her specifically?” He ran his hands down his face when it dawned on him how it must have looked to you; the constant communication, the occasional late night, and entering a relationship with her after the break up. “I’m sorry, sweetheart. I see how it may have looked. But I swear to you, we didn’t start dating until well after our breakup. Please believe me.” He pulled your hands into his and sighed, “Why didn’t you just talk to me about this? Dammit, Y/N, why would you just let me leave without saying a word about what you thought was going on?”
Your tears had slowed, but were still flowing down your cheeks. You pulled your hands back hugging yourself and looked down in shame realizing that you had blamed him for everything, when you were the one who fucked up. I’m sorry. I’m just… so sorry. I never really felt good enough for you in the first place. Then Vicki came back and you seemed so happy around her. I thought you two looked so perfect for each other. I figured it was only a matter of time before you chose her over me.”
He lifted your chin with his forefinger to look at him. “Y/N, you were more than enough. Always were, always will be.” He moved his hands to cup your face and wiped the tears from your cheeks with his thumbs. You leaned into his touch that you had missed for so long. You still felt it hard to look at him for too long. His bright blue eyes, shining through his own tears. As you looked down again, he leaned in and gently pressed his lips to your forehead.
That was it, you couldn’t hold back anymore. You threw yourself into his arms and buried your face into his chest. “I’m so sorry, baby, I’m so sorry.” You sobbed repeatedly.
He hushed you while stroking your hair and rubbing your back. “It’s okay, sweetheart, it’s okay. We’ll get through this.”
You sat like that for a while, even after the tears stopped. You missed how he used to hold you when you were upset about something. You started to get uncomfortable so you climbed up a bit to nuzzle your face into his neck. He reacted by pulling you next to him as he leaned back against the headboard.
"I missed this,” he said simply.
You couldn’t help smiling against his neck. This caused you to feel a moment of boldness as you placed a kiss on his neck below his jaw. He tensed for a second, then turned to press his lips tenderly to yours. You smiled against his lips and responded “I missed this too.”
You pulled back to look at him again “I’m sorry, I’m such an idiot.”
He rolled over so you were lying face to face and kissed your forehead again. “Don’t. I mean, yeah, we kind of fucked up. But we will learn from it. You just need to promise that you’ll talk to me, that you won’t shut me out if something is bothering you.”
You smiled and sighed, “Misha, you’re too good to me.”
He chuckled as he pressed his lips to yours again and said, “Mmm maybe. We’ll see.” He pulled you closer to him as he attempted to deepen the kiss, swiping his tongue over your bottom lip. You couldn’t help the moan that escaped as you granted him entrance. He rolled you over and settled himself above you and between your legs. You hummed at the comforting feeling of his weight on you.
He trailed kisses down your neck and collarbone until you were writhing and breathless beneath him. “Oh fuck! At risk of sounding just an asshole, I must say I really missed seeing you like this. So hot.” Kiss. “So needy.” Kiss. “Mmmm… and all mine.”
At that moment he bit down and sucked on the sweet spot of your neck making you cry out his name. He chuckled against your skin as he shifted downward, kissing the exposed skin above your breasts. He paused to run his fingers gently below the fabric of your robe, silently asking for permission to open it.
You couldn’t help the redness creep across your face as he looked up at you. He smiled and asked “Are you blushing? For me? You’re going to make it feel like our first time all over again if you keep blushing like that.”
You giggled, “Shut up or…ohhhh” He cut you off by opening the top part of your robe and running his tongue around your exposed nipple while rolling the other one between his fingertips. “Oh fuck, so good,” you moaned out.
Soon you were lifting your hips towards him to gain some friction. “Oh god, Misha, please!” you cried out feeling like you’d burst if he didn’t touch your pussy soon.
Begging already, Y/N? So it’s going to be that kind of night, huh?” he responded lustfully. “What do you need, babe? Do you need me to touch you… here?” he asked as he slid his hand up your inner thigh, under your robe, until his fingers barely brushed against your bare sex. “No panties either? Such a dirty girl.”
You could only whimper and nod in response as he opened your robe further and slowly kissed down your stomach. You were still feeling shy after not being touched this way in so long, but his torturous teasing was making you bolder.
Once fully between your legs, he ran his fingers gently through your slick folds. “Mmmm, so wet, babygirl. Is that because if little old me?”
You smiled, biting your bottom lip and uttered “Mmhm, just you.”
He groaned at how desperate you sounded. He had intended on teasing your further, but having your wet and waiting pussy in front of his face proved to be too much for him. Placing his large hands on your inner thighs, he pulled your legs apart a licked a long stripe through your spread folds. He let out a low growl at your taste. “Hmmm… so good.”
Your hands flew to his hair in an attempt to ground yourself and moaned his name loudly. His tongue traveled expertly between your entrance and your clit, driving you mad.
Slowly he dipped one finger inside of you and groaned at how tight you were “Poor girl, you haven’t been fucked proper in a while, have you?”
You should have been annoyed by such a question, but were far too turned on to care. “No, it’s been… so long.” Your breath shuddered as he added a second digit and curled them upwards. “Oh fuck, Misha!” you cried out as you climbed higher and higher.
He chuckled, “Soon, babe, soon. Gotta get you ready.” He scissored his fingers gently before adding a third and lightly flicking his tongue over your clit, sending sparks through you and making your thighs tremble.
He still knew your body so well and could tell how close you were to your climax, but he wasn’t ready for you to come yet. He slowly pulled his fingers from you and leaned back on his knees to remove his shirt.
"Mishaaaaa…. noooo!” You whined and the loss of contact when you were so close.
"Now now, no whining. You know how I feel about whining,” he said in a playful tone.
You rolled your eyes and sat up to undo his jeans. “Yes, Dad."you said cheekily as you you pulled his hard cock from it’s confined space. He grunted in response as he knew you enjoyed teasing him about his Twitter nickname.
You pumped his swollen member a few times as you swirled your tongue around the head making Misha inhale sharply through his teeth.
He grabbed a fistful of your hair to steady himself as you wrapped your lips around him and looked up seductively. “That’s it, baby, fuck! You keep looking at me like that and I won’t last long.” You hummed in response and took him down as far as you could; hollowing your cheeks and swirling your tongue.
You were too good with your mouth; he needed to be inside you immediately. He pulled you back, your mouth making a loud pop as it came off his cock. He gestured for you to lay back as he fully removed his jeans, socks and shoes.
Practically leaping on the bed, he was on top of you in seconds. “You’re so beautiful, you know that?” he asked while kissing your neck. “I love you so much, Y/N.”
You felt your heart swell as tears pricked your eyes. “I love you too, Misha. I love you so… mmm!”
He cut you off with a deep kiss as he lined his cock up with your entrance. He eased himself in slowly, letting you feel every inch of him. Once he was fully seated inside you, he waited for you to give him the signal to move.
You gripped his shoulders and lifted your legs to wrap them around him. He pulled back until just the tip remained and eased back in slow and deep.
He continued his torturously slow rhythm and pressed his forehead against yours. “I’ve missed you so much. You have no idea.”
You couldn’t help but giggle, “I think I can tell, Misha. I’ve missed you too.” He smiled and moved back to kissing your neck and shoulder; increasing the speed of his thrusts until he was desperately slamming into you.
"Fuck, babe, you always take me so well. Are you gonna come for me? You gonna come on my cock, Y/N?!” he growled as he slipped his hand between your bodies to rub harsh circles on your clit. “Come on, baby! You can do it. Come with me.” he pleaded as he was closing in on his own release.
Sparks flew behind your eyes as you came, hard, with a low guttural moan escaping your throat. Your walls fluttered around him as he came with your name falling from his lips. He finally collapsed on top of you and buried his face in the crook of your neck, inhaling the scent of your hair, with a contented smile on his face. He eventually rolled off of you as he knew you preferred to clean up in the bathroom after sex.
Exiting the bathroom, you saw him laying in his side with his head propped up by his hand with his signature panty dropping smile on his face. “Hey, gorgeous.”
You blushed like a fangirl, remembering that you were standing in front of him stark naked. Not that he hadn’t seen you like this before, but it felt different somehow; new. You tended to get playfully defensive when he’d make such blatant compliments, so you laughed it off and repeated a phrase that you had said hundreds of times while you were together, “You’re such a dork.”
He responded the way he always would, “Yeah, but in your dork.”
You both laughed nervously as you realized that you hadn’t really had THAT conversation yet. You really didn’t know where you stood. Were you back together, just like that? Or were you going to take it slow?
He could see the gears in your mind shift and the look of concern cross your face. “Y/N, I can hear your brain trying to over process everything. We can take this as slow or as fast as you want. We will figure it out together.” You gave him a genuine smile as you climbed back into the bed and he pulled your back against his chest, hugging you tightly.
"It’s late, we should get some sleep,” you sighed contentedly. “We can talk about it in the morning.”
He pressed a kiss to the side of your head and whispered, “Goodnight, sweetheart. I love you.”
You yawned and sleepily replied, “I love you too, babe,” and fell asleep in his arms feeling more at home than you had in over a year.
—————
You woke up early to a beeping sound coming from the nightstand; Misha had set his phone there. Misha was still asleep next to you, snoring lightly; which made you smile. You looked back at his phone and hesitated, not wanting to be nosey; but you couldn’t help your curiosity. He never cared if you looked at his phone before, why would he now. You peeked and saw a text from Vicky.
Hey sweetie! Hope you’re feeling better this morning. We have a lot to take care of today since I had to fire that idiot of a wedding planner. Can you believe it’s only few months away?! Call me when you wake up.
Your blood ran cold, “Vicki? Wedding?!” you thought to yourself. “Didn’t he say they broke up? No, he didn’t. He said that she just wasn’t who he wanted?” How could he be getting married and spend the night with you like this; telling you over and over how he loved you. Your heart raced and tears welled in your eyes as you whispered to yourself, “God dammit, Misha.”
