i think you guys give the smp too much credit for representation, especially considering that most of it is explicitly a joke. i get that it can be comforting for a cc to say their character shares an aspect that you do, but it personally making you happy doesn’t mean that it’s actually good representation. it’s important to consider that first and foremost all of the rep yallre talking about originated purely as a joke - like, it’s representation in a way, but it isn’t the same thing as purposefully writing in a gay or trans character.
