Wish overall society valued platonic important relationships more. Like yes friendships are valued but I mean like society accepting friends may want to buy houses together, raise kids together, plan family dynamics together, teamwork work on things together, you know the kind of stuff society often only expects of romantic partners or blood relatives. So there's not really a lot of structures super compatible with when you try to do these things with friends.

#rant #you know. how it is :/#look i just. i have friends. i love my friends like family. i plan things that way #and im also bi so for the record a fucking stranger xould assume #Anyone is my lover or Anyone is only my friend. theres no gender implying its more likely a lover etc #and yet the frequency of which. i hear ppl going oh are you DATING x friend. is ridiculously frustrating #no. no im not dating. yes we are planning life shit. its called friendship u dumb fucks #u can in fact have a dream life of u and friends in a happy house yall got #i like friends like family. my friends uavent hurt me the way my family did growing up #but when strangers see xy gender people together they assumr dating #and when they know ur queer they assume zz gender dating #when its like No bitches id tell u if i was dating #i tell u what. its much more reliable to plan my life with my friends #then with a lover which statisgically is 1 rare and 2 more likely to leave my life
