very dumb how suggesting that women stop dating men or even just stop centering them is seen as “wanting women to stop being heterosexual” as if sexuality ceases to exist if you don’t act on it and as if it’s not something innate.

Also the way that these OSA women imply that OSA women just can’t live without men and act flabbergasted when you tell them to grey-rock men as a solution. A hopeless cause.

#ic.text #yes the “’you want us to stop being straight” is dumb because they forgot that bi-women exist I guess #they can get mad all they want but they really can’t live without men and always talk about hypotheticals ( so examples of women being #independent from men) and cling onto that as a POSSIBILITY that women CAN live without men #but will never do that themselves because these FEW women - outliers- are satisfactory enough #so they don’t feel like they need to prove anything #as if these osa women that chose to forgo men didn’t give up acting on their attraction which must have been difficult #and then suggesting that undoing the patriarchy might merit ‘extreme’ action (not dating men)#means your feminism is ‘irrationally’ man-hating or ‘unrealistic’#and they’ll unironically call it a cult for suggesting not to fuck your oppressors #which shows what dating/being intimate with men really means to these women: it’s one of the most important things in their lives #and if you remind them they go apeshit because they’re man-hating personas look ridiculous
